        절제된 정상위벽의 자기공명영상기법에 관한 연구:조직소견과의 비교

        목적:급속자기공명영상기법을 이용하여 절제된 정상위벽을 관찰하고,이를 조직소견과 비교 연구하여,위벽의 관찰을 위한 최적기법을 찾고자 하였다. 대상과 방법:25명 환자의 모두 41개 절제된 정상위조직을 수술후 수지(polyethylene)통에 넣고,생리식염수로 채워 자기공명영상을 시행하였다.T1강조FLASH,지방억제T1강조FLASH, T2강조TSE와 True-FISP 등 4가지 기법으로 위조직의 영상을 얻었다.자기공명영상에서는 위벽의 층수와 각층의 신호강도를 관찰하였고,이를 조직소견과 비교하였다.자기공명영상소견을 조직소견과 비교한 후 위벽 각층의 명확성과 각층간의 구분,및 전체 영상의 질에 대하여 비교하였다.4가지 기법 중 가장 좋은 방법은 3,가장 나쁜 방법은 0으로 하여 등급을 판정하였다. 결과:자기공명영상에서 위벽의 층수는 T1강조FLASH에서 2층이 41예 중 6예(14.6%),3층 31예(75.6%),및 4층 4예(9.8%)였고,지방억제T1강조FLASH에서 2층 6예(14.6%)와 3층 35예(85.4%),T2강조TSE에서 3층 24예(58.5%),4층 11예(26.8%),및 5층 6예(14.6%)였으며,True-FISP에서 1층 2예(4.9%),2층 8예(19.5%),3층 23예(56.0%),4층은 4예(9.8%), 및 5층 4예(9.8%)이었다.위벽의 신호강도는 T1강조FLASH와 지방억제T1강조FLASH에서 2층으로 보인 예는 위내강으로부터 고-중등도,3층인 경우는 고-저-고/중등도,4층인 예는 고-저-고-중등도신호강도였다.T2강조TSE에서는 3층으로 보인 예는 등도/고-저-중등도,4 층인 경우는 중등도-저-고-중등도/저,5층인 예는 저-고-저-고-저신호강도였다.자기공명 영상소견을 조직소견과 비교하였을 때 위벽이 3층으로 보인 경우 이것은 “점막층-점막하층-근층 ”에 해당하였다.관찰한 3가지 면 모두에서 T1강조FLASH,지방억제T1강조FLASH,T2강조TSE 기법이 True-FISP보다 통계적으로 유의하게 우수하였다(p=0.001).점막층의 명확성에 있어서 가장 우수한 기법은 T1강조FLASH와 지방억제T1강조FLASH이었고(p<0.05),점막하층의 명확성과 점막하층과 근층간의 구분은 T2강조TSE가 가장 우수하였다(p<0.05).전체적인 영상의 질은 T1강조FLASH와 T2강조TSE에서 가장 우수하였다(p<0.05). 결론:자기공명영상은 위벽의 각 층을 구별할 수 있는 우수한 검사로 조직소견과 높은 연관성을 보이며,전체 영상의 질,점막하층의 명확성 및 점막하층과 근층간의 구분이 T2강조TSE에서 가장 우수한다. Purpose: To evaluate normal human gastric wall layers in vitro using magnetic resonance*(MR) imaging, to correlate the results with the histologic findings, and to determine the optimal technique for evaluation of the gastric wall. Materials and Methods: Forty-one normal resected gastric specimens obtained from 25 patients were dissected and placed in a polyethylene tube filled with normal saline. MR imaging with four MR sequences, T1-weighted FLASH*(T1FLASH), fat-saturated T1-weighted FLASH, T2-weighted TSE*(T2TSE), and True-FISP, was performed. The number of gastric wall layers and signal intensity of each layer were determined, and after correlating MR images with the histologic findings, the conspicuity of each layer*(mucosa, submucosa, and muscle), the distinction between each layer, and overall image quality were assessed. results: The gastric wall was shown by TIFLASH to have two (n=6, 14-6%), three (n=31, 75.6%) and four layers (n=4, 9.8%); by fat-saturated TIFLASH to have two (n=6, 14.6%) and three (n=35, 85.4%) ; by T2TSE to have three (n=24, 58.5%), four (n=11, 26.8%), and five (n=6, 14.6%); and by True-FISP to have one (n=2, 4.9%), two (n=8, 19.5%), three (n=23, 56%), four (n=4, 9.8%), and five (n=4, 9.8%) . The signal intensity of each layer at T1FLASH and fat-saturated T1FLASH was high-intermediate from the lumen in two-layer cases, high-low-high/intermediate in three-layer cases, and high-low-high-intermediate in four-layer cases. The signal intensity of each layer at T2TSE was intermediate/high-low-intermediate in three-layer cases, intermediatelow-high-intermediate/low in four-layer cases, and low-high-low-high-low in five-layer cases. Three-layered gastric wall corresponded mostly to mucosa, submucosa, and muscle from the inner to outer layers, respectively. T1FLASH, fat-saturated T1FLASH, and T2TSE were superior to True-FISP in evaluating the gastric wall. T1FLASH and fat-saturated T1FLASH were the best sequences for demonstrating mucosa (p<0.05), and T2TSE was the best for submucosa and the distinction between this and muscle (p<0.05). Both T1FLASH and T2TSE provided the best overall image quality (p<0.05). Conclusion: In-vitro MR imaging is an excellent technique for the evaluation of layers of normal gastric wall. T2TSE is the sequence which best demonstrates the conspicuity of submucosa, the distinction between submucosa and muscle, and overall image quality.

      • Glucotoxicity in the INS-1 Rat Insulinoma Cell Line Is Mediated by the Orphan Nuclear Receptor Small Heterodimer Partner

        <P>Prolonged elevations of glucose concentration have deleterious effects on beta-cell function. One of the hallmarks of such glucotoxicity is a reduction in insulin gene expression, resulting from decreased insulin promoter activity. Small heterodimer partner (SHP; NR0B2) is an atypical orphan nuclear receptor that inhibits nuclear receptor signaling in diverse metabolic pathways. In this study, we found that sustained culture of INS-1 cells at high glucose concentrations leads to an increase in SHP mRNA expression, followed by a decrease in insulin gene expression. Inhibition of endogenous SHP gene expression by small interfering RNA partially restored high-glucose-induced suppression of the insulin gene. Adenovirus-mediated overexpression of SHP in INS-1 cells impaired glucose-stimulated insulin secretion as well as insulin gene expression. SHP downregulates insulin gene expression via two mechanisms: by downregulating PDX-1 and MafA gene expression and by inhibiting p300-mediated pancreatic duodenal homeobox factor 1-and BETA2-dependent transcriptional activity from the insulin promoter. Finally, the pancreatic islets of diabetic OLETF rats express SHP mRNA at higher levels than the islets from LETO rats. These results collectively suggest that SHP plays an important role in the development of beta-cell dysfunction induced by glucotoxicity.</P>

        지적장애 특수학교 자유학기 운영에 대한 특수교사의 경험과 개선방안

        [목적] 본 연구는 지적장애 특수학교에서 자유학기를 담당한 특수교사들을 대상으로 심층 면담을 실시하여 지적장애 특수학교 자유학기제 운영 상의 경험 및 개선방안을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. [방법] 지적장애 특수학교에서 자유학기 업무를 담당하고 있는 특수교사 총 8명의 교사들을 대상으로 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 반구조화된 면담으로 진행되었으며, 면담내용은 모두 녹음과 전사의 과정을 거쳐 반복적 비교분석법(constant comparison method)을 사용하여 분석되었다. [결과] 본 연구의 주요 결과로 첫째, 지적장애 특수학교 자유학기제 운영으로 인해 학생의 참여, 학생의 역량, 학교 구성원 간의 소통이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자유학기제의 장점과 더불어 다양한 특성을 고려한 학생 지도의 부담, 교사의 인식 및 전문성 부족의 아쉬움, 학교·환경·제도적인 측면에서 기본적인 자유학기제 운영 틀 부족 등의 자유학기제 운영 시 느끼는 어려움도 나타났다. 마지막으로, 보다 성공적인 지적장애 특수학교 자유학기제를 운영하기 위해서 학교와 교사 측면의 자유학기제 운영 제고 방안 마련 및 교육부·교육청·특수교육지원센터의 자유학기제를 위한 지원체계 구축이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. [결론] 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 자유학기제에 대한 시사점을 자유학기제 운영 시 수업개선을 위한 논의 및 자유학기제의 성공적인 정착을 위한 논의 두 가지 측면에서 제시하였다. [Purpose] The purpose of this study was to conduct in-depth interviews with special teachers who were in charge of free semester in special schools for students with intellectual disability in order to understand their experiences and enhancement plans when operating the free semester system for students with intellectual disability. [Method] In-depth interviews were conducted for a total of eight special teachers in charge of free semesters at special schools for students with intellectual disability. Semi-structured interviews were conducted, and all of the interviews were analyzed using the constant comparison method through the recording and transcription process. [Results] The results of this study are as follows. First, the participation of students, the capacity of students, and communication among school members were improved due to the operation of the free semester system at special schools for students with intellectual disability. Second, there were difficulties in operating the free semester system, such as teachers’ burden when teaching students with diverse needs, the lack of teachers’ understanding and professionalism, and the lack of the fundamental framework with regard to schools, environment, and systems. Lastly, in order to operate the free semester at special schools for students with intellectual disability, it is necessary to make improvement plans for the schools and teachers and to establish support system made by Ministry of Education, the Offices of Education, and the Special Education Support Centers. [Conclusion] Based on the results of this study, implications for the free semester system were presented in two aspects: a discussion for class improvement in the operation of the free semester system and a discussion for successful settlement of the free semester system.

        디자인 대학원 작품논문 표절방지를 위한 교육 체계 및 콘텐츠 개발

        연구윤리에 대한 인식이 높아지면서 연구윤리 교육이 확산추세에 있다. 그러나 현재의 연구윤리 교육은 단발성 특강형의 교육 중심으로 실행되고 있으며, 학과 특성에 적합한 교육 체계가 미비하다는 점에서 한계를 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 디자인 석사학위 과정에 있는 학생의 논문 지도에 있어 표절을 미연에 방지할 수 있는 연구윤리 교육체계를 구축하되 특히 예술계에서만 존재하는 작품논문이라는 형식에 적합한 교육체계를 구축하기 위한 목적으로 이루어졌다. 연구는 디자인학부 석사학위 과정학생 10명을 대상으로 총 17개월 걸친 참여관찰을 통해 이루어졌으며 연구윤리 교육 콘텐츠의 제작, 교육 및 자료수집, 교육 결과의 피드백 및 기존 콘텐츠의 수정보완, 수정 보완 된 콘텐츠를 적용한 연구 시행, 결과 분석 총 5단계에 걸쳐 단계적으로 이루어졌다. 각각의 단계에서는 교육을 통한 콘텐츠 활용도 검증, 심층면접을 통한 연구 결과의 학계검증, 연구윤리 교육 참여자들의 논문 작성 및 표절률 검사라는 객관적 검증 장치를 두었다. 연구 과정에서 학술연구윤리 교육 콘텐츠, 디자인 연구윤리 교육 콘텐츠 두 종류의 교육 콘텐츠가 개발되었으며 논문리스트 작성노트, 디자인 연구노트, 인용연습노트 총 3개의 활용 콘텐츠가 개발되었다. 결과적으로 연구주제의 구체화 과정에서 논문리스트 작성노트를 활용한 논문 주제 독창성 검증, 논문 텍스트 작성 과정에서 인용노트 활용을 통한 인용 관련 표절여부 검증 및 디자인 연구노트 활용을 통한 작품 표절여부 검증, 최종적으로 카피검사 시스템 활용을 통한 정량적 표절률 검사의 3단계에 걸친 작품논문의 표절 예방 검증 교육체계가 구축되었다. With the growing awareness of research ethics, the education for it is being disseminated. However, it is having a limitation given that the current education of research ethics is centered on special lectures in short-term period, and department-specific educational system is lack. In respect of teaching students about thesis in graduate school, this study aims to establish an educational system to prevent plagiarism in advance, matching the environment where there is thesis portfolio for graduation only in art school. The research has been conducted with ten graduate school students in design department for 17 months in total through participatory observation, and is consisted of five stages: making educational contents of research ethics, collecting data, giving feedback of the education and evaluating or revising existing contents, conducting a research after applying the correction, and analyzing the result. We put objective verification tools at each stage such as verification of contents utilization through education, academic verification of the research result through in-depth interview, and inspection of thesis portfolio production and plagiarism rate by educational participants in research ethics. In the process of the research, educational contents of academic research and design research ethics were developed and three kinds of utilization contents, thesis list-writing note, design research note, and reference note, were made. As a result, it has become to set up three phases of plagiarism prevention measures: verifying creativity of thesis subject by utilizing thesis list-writing note in the embodiment process, verifying plagiarism relating to reference and artwork by utilizing reference note and design research note in the process of making thesis artwork, and verifying quantitatively through copy inspection system.

        Expression of Insulin-like Growth Factors in a Mouse Model of Salicylate Ototoxicity

        Objectives. Insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) are known to be neurotrophic factors, and they efficiently signal to cells to grow, differentiate and survive. The purpose of study was to identify the expressions of IGFs in mice with salicylate ototoxicity, which is a typical reversible hearing loss model. Methods. The mice were given intraperitoneal injections of salicylate (400 mg/kg) and about a 30 dB threshold shift was achieved at 3 hours. The expressions of IGF-1 and 2 were confirmed by semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blotting. Localization of IGFs was confirmed using confocal immunofluorescence imaging. For in-vitro study on the HEI-OC1 auditory cells, the cell viability was calculated and the apoptotic features of the nuclei were observed with Hoechst staining. Results. The expressions of the IGFs mRNA and protein were significantly increased in the salicylate ototoxicity groups compared with that of the normal control group. Salicylate induced apoptosis and decreased viability of the HEI-OC1auditory cells in a time- and dose-dependent manner. The expressions of IGFs were localized in the stria vascularis,and these IGFs play a protective role in the in-vivo condition of salicylate ototoxicity. Conclusion. IGFs were highly expressed in the mice with salicylate ototoxicity, and this expression was mainly focused in the stria vascularis in the salicylate intoxicated mice. The systemic action of IGFs, which were expressed in the vascular-rich stria vascularis, can act as a major protective mechanism in a mouse model of salicylate ototoxicity.

      • Selective electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide to formic acid using indium-zinc bimetallic nanocrystals

        <P>For the electrochemical reduction of CO2 (CRR) with high selectivity for HCOOH, In-Zn bimetallic nanocrystals (NCs) were synthesized as catalysts by <I>in situ</I> reduction of In2O3-ZnO NCs with various compositions. All In-containing bimetallic catalysts exhibited excellent selectivity to produce HCOOH, while Zn NCs favor CO production. A composition with In : Zn = 0.05 has higher catalytic activity than In NCs, with a faradaic efficiency of 95% and a HCOOH production rate of 0.40 mmol h<SUP>−1</SUP> cm<SUP>−2</SUP> at −1.2 V <I>vs.</I> RHE. The enhanced catalytic performance is in part ascribed to the fewer surface oxide layers, which increase the conductivity and facilitate the charge transfer. Density functional theory calculations revealed that the In-Zn interfacial sites make the HCOOH pathway significantly energy-favorable, which supports the higher production rate of Zn0.95In0.05 than that of In.</P>

        Serial Changes of Heat Shock Protein 70 and Interleukin-8 in Burn Blister Fluid

        Background: It has been reported that heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) play an important role in cells during the wound healing process. However, there has been no report on the effect of HSP70 and IL-8 on the blisters of burn patients. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the serial quantitative changes of HSP70 and IL-8 in burn blisters. Methods: Twenty-five burn patients were included, for a total of 36 cases: twenty cases on the first day, six cases on the sec-ond, five cases on the third, three cases on the fourth, and two cases on the fifth. A correlation analysis was performed to de-termine the relationship between the concentration of HSP70 and IL-8 and the length of the treatment period. Results: The HSP70 concentration was the highest on the first day, after which it decreased down to near zero. Most HSP70 was generated during the first 12 hours after the burn accident. There was no correlation between the concen-tration of HSP70 on the first day and the length of the treat-ment period. No measurable concentration of IL-8 was de-tected before 5 hours, but the concentration started to in-crease after 11 hours. The peak value was measured on the fourth day. Conclusion: While HSP70 increased in the first few hours and decreased afterwards, IL-8 was produced after 11 hours and increased afterward in burn blister fluid. These findings provide new evidence on serial changes of in-flammatory mediators in burn blister fluid. (Ann Dermatol 29(2) 194∼199, 2017)

        Treatment of Class I crowding using simple tubes bonded with customized resin coverings: A case report

        As an alternative to the conventional fixed appliance that uses orthodontic brackets, a simple round tube without a bonding base can be bonded to the tooth surface by covering the tube with flowable resin. In this technique, bent wires cannot be inserted into the simple tubes; therefore, repositioning of the simple tubes is often required for adjustments. To reduce repositioning of simple tubes, a dome-shaped resin covering of the simple tube can be designed with a customized in-and-out compensation, using three-dimensional computer-aided design software based on digital simulation of orthodontic tooth movement. In the present case, the use of simple tubes bonded with customized resin coverings in a Class I nonextraction case is described in a 17-year-old male, in whom moderate crowding of the anterior teeth was treated over an 8-month period. This case shows that simple tubes can be used as an alternative to brackets in some Class I nonextraction cases, with the potential benefit of reducing decalcification.

        Investigation of InAs/InGaAs/InP Heterojunction Tunneling Field-Effect Transistors

        Tunneling field-effect transistors (TFETs) are very applicable to low standby-power application by their virtues of low off-current (Ioff) and small subthreshold swing (S). However, low on-current (Ion) of silicon-based TFETs has been pointed out as a drawback. To improve Ion of TFET, a gate-all-around (GAA) TFET based on III-V compound semiconductor with InAs/InGaAs/InP multiple-heterojunction structure is proposed and investigated. Its performances have been evaluated with the gallium (Ga) composition (x) for In1-xGaxAs in the channel region. According to the simulation results for Ion, Ioff, S, and on/off current ratio (Ion/Ioff), the device adopting In0.53Ga0.47As channel showed the optimum direct-current (DC) performance, as a result of controlling the Ga fraction. By introducing an n-type InGaAs thin layer near the source end, improved DC characteristics and radio-frequency (RF) performances were obtained due to boosted band-to-band (BTB) tunneling efficiency.

      • 아동학대의 발생 현황과 관련변인에 대한 연구

        This study was attempt to survey the recent trends of child abuse and to explore the related variables. The subjects were 436 children in the fifth and sixth grade of the elementary school in Taegu and 436 their parents by coupling-data. The main results of this study are as follows: 1. Significant variables related to the child were child's sex and friendship. And significant variables related to the parents were parental unemployment, child rearing attitudes, violence experience, life satisfaction. Then significant variables related to the home environment were family type, residential style, harmony of the home and martal violence. 2. The most significant variable in all type of child abuse was the variable related to the parents. Additionally marital violence was the most influential variable in all types of child abuse.
