Dimethylformamide가 Mouse 肝細胞의 微細構造에 미치는 影響

Dimethylformamide (DMF) has been widely used in the synthetic textile industry as an organic solvent. However, it is known that DMF irritates to skin and mucous membranes and causes several toxic symptoms when dermal and respiratory exposure to DMF is prolonged. It is supposed that DMF provoked toxic reaction in the liver during the metabolic process of the DMF-injected experimental animal. Therefore, the authors observed changes cytoplasmic organelles of the hepatic parenchymal cells in order to demonstrate the effect of DMF on the mouse liver. Healthy male mice of ICR strain were used in this experiment and the weight of the experimental animals were around 20gm. The animals of the experimental group were administered DMF diluted in the water for injection, by intraperitoneal injection in a dose of 1.5ml per kg of body weight in a volume of 0.2ml. The animals of the control group were amdinistered only water for injection. The experimental animals were killed at intervals of 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours after administration of DMF, respectively. Liver specimens of 1mm³ size were prefixed in the 2% glutaraldehyde-2.5% paraformaldehyde phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.2) and post-fixed in the 1% osmic acid. After specimens were dehydrated and embedded in the epon 812, ultrathin sections(600-800A°thickness) were made and double stained with uranyl acetate and lead citrate. These preparations were observed with JEM 100B electron microscope. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Cisternae of rough endoplasmic reticulum were intensely dilatated and fragmented partly. 2. Smooth endoplasmic reticulum was markedly proliferated and glycogen particles were markedly decreased or depleted. 3. The atrophies of the Golgi complex were found. 4. Primary lysosomes and secondary lysosomes-residual bodies, autophagic vacuole and multivesicular bodies were increased in number. 5. Numerous lipid droplets of irregular size were produced. Consequently, it is concluded that DMF would induce the degenerative changes in cytoplasmic organelles of the hepatic parenchymal cell in the mouse.

Two experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of molasses supplementation to silage materials in ensiling Galgeuntang (herbal medicine) meal on the quality of silage, and its palatability in Korean native goats. In experiment Ⅰ, molasses was added at the levels of 0, 0.5, and 1.0% to Galgeuntang meal with three replicates per treatment. In experiment Ⅱ, three 1.5-yr-old Korean native goats were used to measure palatability. In experiment Ⅰ, lactic acid contents in molasses treatments were significantly(p<0.05) higher, and pH and butyric acid contents were lower than those of non-molasses treatment. In addition, molasses treatment increased total microbial cell counts in MRS medium for lactobacillus, but decreased total microbial cell counts in PDA medium for fungi. Molasses supplementation to silage materials increased in vitro dry matter disappearance. Molasses supplementation tended to increase silage intake in Korean native goat (experiment Ⅱ), but the difference was not significant(p>0.05). It is concluded that molasses supplementation to silage materials in ensiling herbal medicine meal could improve its preservability and palatability, the higher the better.

Objectives The aim of this case report is to suggest the effects of Bee-venom pharmacopuncture, acupoint of Pyung-Hyung acupuncture and MET treatment on improving the cervical pain and ROM restriction, Satisfaction of treatment in a 60-year-old male patient after whiplash injury. Methods Patient was treated with Complex Traditional Korean Medical Care of bee venom pharmacopuncture, Kyung-Tong(頸痛) acupoint of Pyung-Hyung Acupuncture(平衡鍼法) and MET treatment. Parmacopuncture was performed on pain site. MET treatment was performed on upper trapezius muscle, levator scapulae and sternocleidomastoid muscle. Patient’s symptom was evaluated by Range of motion(ROM), NRS(Numeric Rating Scale), Neck Disability Index(NDI) to check improvement in cervicalgia. Patient’s satisfaction was measured by five-point Likert scale. The treatment was executed once per everyday between March 7-13, 2022. Results After seven session of bee-venom pharmacopuncture, Pyung-Hyung acupuncture and MET method, patient’s ROM, NRS , NDI were improved. Conclusions The results show that Integrative Korean Medicine of pharmacopuncture, Pyung-Hyung Acupuncture and MET treatment can be an effective way to relieve cervicalgia with whiplash injury,

Lateral type poly-silicon field emitters were fabricated by utilizing the LOCOS (Local Oxidation of Silicon) process. For the implementation 'of an ideal field emission device with quasi-zero tunneling barrier, a new and fundamental approach has used conducted by introducing an intelligent carbon-based thin layer on the cathode tip surface via a field-assisted self-aligning of carbon (FASAC) process. Fundamental lowering of the turn-on field for the electron emission was feasible through the control of both the tip shape and surface barrier height.

2′-$\beta$-C-Methylneplanocin A (3) was synthesized via 2-$\beta$-C-methylribonolactone, prepared by a modified Whistler and BeMiller’s method developed by our laboratory, as potential anti-HCV agent. Reduction of 14 with Dibal-H afforded 26 in a good yield with a trace of 25, whereas a Luche reduction gave 26/25 = 4/1 mixture. Several attempts were made to chemoselectively remove TBS group in the presence of TBDPS group and treatment with both PPTS and TsOH showed the best result. Condensation of 26 with 6-chloropurine under Mitsunobu conditions produced an $S_N$2 product 27 along with an $S_N$2′ product 28.

초대형 컨테이너선의 등장 이후, 세계 각국의 항만들은 Mega Hub Port가 되기 위해 컨테이너터미널의 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있는 자동화 컨테이너터미널에 관한 연구를 활발히 진행하였다. 하지만 기존 연구들은 터미널 야드와 안벽의 자동화 연구에만 치중되어 있어 터미널 전체 업무의 생산성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 게이트에 대해서는 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 게이트 업무의 생산성을 향상시키기 위하여 자동화 게이트시스템 구축 시 사용될 수 있는 최적 기술 대안을 선정하고자 하며, 이를 위해 1차적으로 문헌조사 및 인터뷰를 통해 현황을 파악하고, 시스템 구축 시 사용될 수 있는 기술과 기대효과를 찾고자 하였다. 이를 토대로 최적 기술대안을 제시하기 위하여 AHP 기법을 활용하여 생산성, 보안성, 경제성의 3가지 평가기준으로 평가한 결과 최적 기술대안으로는 RFID가 선정되었다. This research deducted optimum technology alternatives for the automated gate systems of the future. For this purpose, the technical requirements for automation of container terminal gates were deducted through analysis of current situation of domestic and foreign gate operations and gate-related technologies. According to the analysis, the technologies that are considered to be deployed in the terminals in the future include Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), electronic container seal (eSeal), container weighing technology and automation of container damage inspection. However, it is difficult to determine which technology elements should be deployed first, and to propose it is practically the optimum solution on the basis of only one questionnaire. Thus, in order to complement this, an evaluation model was developed for selection of optimum technology, using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method which can objectify the qualitative evaluation factors and solve the limitations of applicability of each evaluation criterion. According to the results of AHP analysis, RFID technology is selected to be the optimum alternative considering all of the three evaluation criteria, i.e. productivity, security and economic feasibility.
