AC-PDP용 인산염 결정화 유리의 유전적 특성에 관한 연구

인산염계 유리를 사용하여 PDP 소자의 하판유전체 후막을 제작하였다. 유전체 후막의 제조는 soda-lime glass위에 silk screen printing 법을 사용하였다. 기판과 유전체후막의 열팽창계수를 맞추기 위하여 $TiO_2$와 $Al_2O_3$를 충진제로 사용하였다. 유전체의 결정화 거동은 DTA, XRD를 사용하였으며 광학적 열적 전기적인 특성을 알아보기 위하여 UV-spectrometer, Dilatometer, Impedance Analyser를 사용하였다. 실험결과 주 결정상은 메타인산아연과 피로인산아연으로 나타났다. $TiO_2$의 첨가로 인하여 반사율은 높아졌으나 상대적으로 유전상수는 높아졌다. 또한 $Al_2O_3$를 첨가한 경우 반사율은 크게 변화가 없었으나 유전상수 값은 낮아졌다. 또한 열팽창 계수는 약 $62{\times}10^{-7}/^{\circ}C$ 정도였다. For regulate thermal expansion coefficient (CTE) of between substrate glass and dielectric layer use addition of $Al_2O_3$ and $TiO_2$. The crystallization process of glass-ceramics for dielectric layer have been examined by DTA, XRD some of optical, electrical properties of the dielectric layer were evaluated by UV-spectrometer, dilatometer, impedance analyser. The principal crystalline phase was identified as zinc metaphosphate [$Zn(PO_3)_2$] and zinc pyrophosphate [$Zn_2P_2O_7$]. Reflectance and dielectric constance increased with the addition of $TiO_2$ filler, dielectric constant lower the out side reflectance unchanging of the adding of $Al_2O_3$ filler. Besides CTE was at about $62{\times}10^{-7}/^{\circ}C$.
한국인 전립선비대증 환자에서 두타스테리드의 안전성 평가를 위한 시판 후 조사

Background: Dutasteride is an inhibitor of both types I and II 5 alpha-reductase and was approved in Korea in April 2004. This post-marketing surveillance was to assess the safety of dutasteride in Korean patients with benign prostate hyperplasia in real life and to elucidate the risk factors related adverse events. Methods: From December 2004 to January 2010, 3,977 patients were enrolled by 184 urologists. According to post-marketing surveillance regulation, patients were enrolled consecutively. Patients administered dutasteride at least once were included in safety assessment. The incidences of any adverse events and serious adverse events were evaluated. Multiple logistic regression method was used to identify risk factors related to adverse events. Results: The safety assessment included 3,870 patients with the mean age of 67.3 years. The incidence of adverse events was 3.8%. The most frequent adverse event was impotence (75 cases, 1.9%), libido decrease (49 cases, 1.3%), ejaculation disorder (30 cases, 0.8%), and gynecomastia (5 cases, 0.1%). The incidence of unexpected adverse events was 0.5% and cerebral infarction, lung cancer, pulmonary embolism, and diarrhea were reported as serious adverse events. Conclusion: In this survey, impotence was the most frequently reported adverse events. Dutasteride was well tolerated in Korean patients with benign prostate hyperplasia. These results updated the safety information and would provide important additional information for prescribers.

The purpose of this study is a numerical simulation of pollutant-laden flow in a boundary layer. The pollutant source is divided Ground-Level Source (GLS) and Elevated source (ES). Air velocity and pollutant particle concentration profile is compared with the experiments in a turbulent boundary layer flow. The code for this research uses Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) model by using Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM). The Lattice Boltzmann subgrid model predicts more exact solution than previous Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) model.

Ocean discharge of sewage sludge, which started in the year of 1993 in Korea, was stopped in the beginning of 2012, Landfill of sewage sludge was also prohibited in 2003 owing to public acceptance of the lanfill sites, and partially reopened in 2007 due to the necessity of organic component in sludge to produce methane gas. Sludge recycle ratio will increase in sewage sludge treatment by volume reduction and drying, and then recycle of the thermal energy as fuel in power plant and also material as raw material of cement. Several drying processes are compared with reasoning and an appropriate drying sequence is suggested.

The Iraq War cannot be mentioned without referring to the 9·11 terrorist attacks. We are living in this world, in part, under the shadow of 9·11. Especially, the United States incurred two major damages to its unparalleled hegemonic power by a group of terrorists and to its moral exceptionalism. American responses are also two-fold. On the one hand, the U.S. tried to show its hegemonic power by engaging in military campaigns from Afghanistan to Iraq: on the other, the U.S. demonized Islamic fundamentalism by contrasting it with American values.<br/> During more than four decades of the Cold War, U.S. security strategy, though difficult to implement, was easy to understand. America tried to deter the Soviet Union from using its military power against itself and its allies. But with the end of the Cold War the underlying rationale for that strategy disappeared. For a short time, the U.S. foreign policy was in a disarray. After the 9. 11 incident, however, security paradigm became very clear. In the name of war on terrorism, the Bush administration returned to Cold War strategies by actively rebuilding its alliance system. This may also be the reason why the Korean Peninsula is once again required to remain a showcase of American global strategy. The Cold War framework continues to dictate Korea within the wider framework of post-Cold War.<br/> Nevertheless, the revival of Cold War strategies by the Bush Administration is not likely to be successful, because the United States is not only the creator, but also the destroyer of new global order. America has a double identity today; on the one hand, the U.S. has been pursuing transnational goals such as peace, anti-terrorism, and human rights as a global empire; on the other hand, it has been solely pursuing national interests by exercising its power unilaterally. These two contradicting characters will dissolve each other with time. The Iraq war might have been the climax of American hegemony, and all that remains is going downward.

본 논문에서는 Direct3D 기반의 게임과 OpenGL 기반의 게임에 모두 적용하여 사용할 수 있는 게임 UI 엔진을 설계하고 구현한다. 또한 게임에서 사용되는 2D 이미지 표현 형식인 스프라이트의 개념을 확장, 적용하여 기존의 게임 UI 엔진보다 비교적 효율적인 이마지 데이터 관리가 가능하도록 하였다. 그리고 실험에서 구현된 UI 엔진을 사용하여 간단한 응용의 예를 보였다.

Venturi meter is used in various aspects of the industry because it is capable of measure mass without being influenced by a kind of fluid, temperature, press, and so on. Multiphase flow has great non-uniformity as the flow having more than two phases compared with single phase. The flow of liquid having vapor is a representative case of multiphase flow and it produces non-uniformity according to the ratio of the vapor. Especially, the local change of density is inevitable as the flow section because of the high density difference between liquid and gas. Therefore, it is uncertain to measure multiphase flow using Venturi meter. On this paper, numerical study about multiphase flow in a venturi was conducted. A scheme that can be used in numerical analysis of multiphase flow was selected. The selected numerical schemes were verified through comparison with experiment data. In addition, the cause of uncertainty for measurement was deducted by analyzing flow in a ventury.
