        Many people agreed that multimedia system considered as the best teaching method for figure learning. An implementation of figure learning system has been explained in this paper. The utilization effect analysis for the implemented system performed on 80 students shows satisfied results.

        The purposes of this study were to justify the need of exclusive responsibility teachers in elementary practical arts subject, and to investigate the actual conditions and problems of practical arts' teacher education. This study was carried out through review of literature and questionnaire survey. The results of this study were as follows; 1)The need of exclusive responsibility teachers in elementary practical arts subject was could be justified in the aspect of social specified trend, special character of practical arts, and use of machine and equipment facilities. 2)Natural disposition needed for exclusive responsibility teachers in elementary practical arts subject was identified as possession of firm belief toward practical arts' philosophy and ideology, enough understanding and competence of practical arts, and complete knowledge and skill of instructional method. 3)The main problems of practical arts' teacher education was identified as the absences of educational goals in program, an unbalance among discipline parts, and the low degree of satisfaction toward teacher education program. 4)Therefore, it is necessary to establish the educational goals of program clearly, to coordinate the discipline parts proportionately, an to recommend and experimentation & practice in teaching and performance assessment.

      • 새로운 Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors의 합성

        노인성 치매의 일종인 alzheimer's disease의 효과적인 억제제를 합성하기 위해 우리는 분자 모델링에 의한 가장 적합한 물질인 m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid를 합성하였다. 출발물질인 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate의 경우 boronic acid의 작용기인 hydroxyl group을 protecting시킴으로써 반응의 안정성을 기하였다. Quarternary ammonium salt는 과량의 methyliodide와 염기 촉매인 potassium hydrogen carbonate를 사용하여 용매인 methanol에서 반응시켜 상당히 높은 수율을 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 과량의 methyliodide와 염기촉매인 potassium hydrogen carbonate를 사용하여 용매인 methanol에서 반응시킨 결과 boronic acid의 protection없이도 안정하게 반응이 진행되어짐을 확인할 수 있었다. In order to syntheisize a effective inhibotor for alzheimer's disease, we synthesized m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4 which is designed by molecular modeling form. We protected the hydroxyl group of 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 with ethlyne glycol to remove the reactivity if hydroxyl group. To synthesize m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4, we reacted 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 with ezcess methyl iodide and potassium hydrogen carbonate as a base-catalyst in methanol. but On executed reaction without protection on hydroxyl group, we found out the result that the hydroxyl group of boronic acid group at 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 didn't react with excess methyliodide. Synthesized m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4 is in progress about biological tests as a plausible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor.

      • 실과교육에서 환경 친화력 향상을 위한 교수 자료 개발에 관한 연구

        The purposes of this study were to investigate possibilities and objectives of environmental education, and to analyze the environmental content elements available in the 7th curriculum, and to suggest strategies for the development of teaching materials for the improvement of pro-environmental power in practical arts education. This study was carried out through review of literature and discussions with panels of judges composed of experts in the environment related fields. The results of this study were as follows; 1)It was identified that an environmental education through practical arts subject was very efficient because principles of environmental education coincided with characteristics of practical arts education which emphasizes on real life, direct experience, and inter-disciplinary approach. 2)It was identified that an environmental education in elementary school was reflected on different courses in a distributed way, contents related to the environmental education such as resources, environmental conservation, an environmental hygiene has been included in the practical arts subject from the 1th curriculum to the 7th curriculum of the elementary school. 3)It was identified that contents such as orientation of jobs related an environment, separate garbage collection, food hygiene, recycle of waste articles, environmental pollution, and an environmental conservation could be reflected in the 7th curriculum. 4)Proposed strategies for developing teaching materials related to the improvement of pro-environmental power in practicalarts education ware a consideration of environment education frame in entire school system, an emphasis of practical and experience, the maximum uses of concrete stimulus, the uses of various places and facilities, the active uses of web site through internet.

      • On-Line UPS 기능 내장형 ESS 설계 및 적용

        본 논문에서는 ESS(Energy Storage System)의 Battery측 DC 전압을 공유하여 기본적인 ESS구성에 On-Line UPS기능을 함께 가지는 Multi-Function ESS를 설계하고, 적용한 기술을 설명 한다. 용량은 PCS 250kW, Battery 190kWh, UPS 125kW용량으로 구성하였으며, UPS는 125kWh 2Set를 이중화하는 구성으로 설계 하였다. On-Line UPS 기능 내장형 ESS 전체 제어는 PMS를 통해 이루어지며, 기본적으로 계통연계(GC), 독립운전(GI), GC와 GI가 센싱을 통해 자동으로 절체되는 Auto Mode 제어 모드를 가지며, TOU Application 운영이 가능하도록 제어기를 구현하였다. 또한 PMS는 Battery SoC를 모니터링하여, 사용자가 ESS와 UPS운영을 필요에 따라 용량을 정의하고 운영할 수 있도록 하였다. 관련기술을 기본/상세 설계 후 제작하여, 기능 및 성능에 대한 시험 검증 후 실제 부하와 연계하여 실증한 사례를 기술 한다.

        제7차 당대회를 통해 본 북한의 통일정책

        북한은 1980년 제6차 당대회 이후 36년만인 2016년 5월 제7차 당대회를 개최하였다. 당대회는 북한의 대내외 주요 노선과 정책들을 논의하고 결정하는 자리이다. 이 글은 제7차 당대회를 북한의 통일정책에 초점을 두고 분석하였으며, 당대회 이후 남북관계에 대한 전망과 우리의 대북정책에 주는 시사점을 도출하였다. 북한의 통일정책과 관련되어 관심을 모았던 분야는 김정은 시대의 새로운 통일방안 제시, 대남전략 변화 그리고 남북대화 제시 등 세 분야로 볼 수 있다. 북한은 통일방안과 관련하여 새로운 통일방안을 제시하는 대신 기존의 `조국통일 3대헌장`과 `연방제`를 강조하였다. 그리고 대남전략은 `민족해방민주주의혁명`을 통한 한반도의 공산화 전략을 고수하는 데 그쳤다. 나아가 남북대화는 `군사회담`을 제안하였으나 핵개발과 대남 군사도발 위협을 지속하는 등 상호 모순된 행동을 보였다. 이번 제7차 당대회에서 나타난 북한의 통일정책은 기존의 내용과 입장들을 반복하고 있을 뿐 새로운 변화를 찾아보기 어렵다. 이는 김정은의 부정적 대남관과 통일관을 반영하고 있어 향후 남북관계는 현상유지에서 비관적 시나리오로 나아갈 가능성이 높다. North Korea held the 7th Party Convention in May 2016 in 36 years after the 6th Party Convention in 1980. The Labor Party Convention is a meeting to discuss and determine the major domestic and international political lines and policies of North Korea. This paper focused on and analyzed North Korea`s unification policies discussed in the 7th Party Convention. Based on the analysis, it produced the outlook on the inter-Korea relations after the 7th Party Convention and implications on the South Korean policies toward North Korea. The interested parts regarding the unification policies of North Korea can be categorized into three topics of suggestion of the new unification plans, changes in the strategies toward South Korea and suggestion of inter-Korean talks under the regime of Kim Jong-un. North Korea emphasized the existing `top three charter of national unification` and the `federal system` rather than suggesting the new unification plans. The North Korea`s strategy toward South Korea stuck to the one aimed to communize the Korean peninsula through `national liberation democratic revolution.` North Korea suggested `military talks` for inter-Korean talks. However, it can be interpreted as mutual contradiction to mention talks and negotiations while continuing to develop nuclear and threaten the military provocation against South Korea. North Korea`s unification policies discussed in the 7th Part Convention only repeated the existing policies and positions and are hard to find the new changes. This reflects Kim Jong-un`s negative view against South Korea and the negative unification view, which leads to expect the future inter-Korean relations to be in a negative scenario.

        Effects of Fattening Period on Growth Performance, Carcass Characteristics and Lipogenic Gene Expression in Hanwoo Steers

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different fattening periods i.e. 25, 27 and 29 months of age (25 mo, 27 mo and 29 mo), on feed consumption, body weight gain, carcass parameters, and lipogenic gene expression in 45 Korean native steers (Hanwoo). Daily DM intake was higher in steers on 29 mo compared with those on 25 mo or 27 mo. Daily body weight gain was higher in steers on 25 mo compared with those on 27 mo or 29 mo during fattening and overall experimental periods. Therefore, feed conversion ratio was lower in 25 mo compared with 27 mo or 29 mo during the fattening and whole experimental periods. As expected, slaughter and carcass weights were higher in the order of 29 mo>27 mo>25 mo. Carcass yield grade was relatively lower in 29 mo reflecting higher back fat thickness compared with other treatments, while carcass quality grade was not largely influenced by the treatments. By investigation with an ultra-sound scanning technique, the marbling score was significantly and numerically higher in 25 mo compared with 27 mo or 29 mo. The mRNA levels of stearoyl-CoA desaturase (SCD) gene were gradually increased in the late fattening stages (p<0.01) and mRNA of acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC), ATP citrate lyase (ACL) and glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) gene were highly expressed in 29 mo compared with 25 mo and 27 mo (p<0.05). However, gene expressions of adipocyte fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4) and lipoprotein lipase (LPL) were not significantly different among the treatments. Thus the present results indicated that different fattening period has no major effect on carcass characteristics, although 25 mo had a lower carcass weight compared with 27 mo or 29 mo.

        Effectiveness of ultra-wide implants in the mandibular and maxillary posterior areas: a 5-year retrospective clinical study

        Objectives: Ultra-wide implants may be used as a replacement if existing implants fail. This study was conducted to evaluate the factors influencing the prognosis and failure of ultra-wide implants. Patients and Methods: This study evaluated whether sex, age, site, diameter, length, additional surgery, implant stability (primary and secondary), and reason for ultra-wide implant placement affect the 5-year survival and success rates and marginal bone loss (MBL) of ultra-wide implants. Seventy- eight ultra-wide implants that were placed in 71 patients (39 males and 32 females) from 2008 to 2010 were studied. One-way ANOVA analysis was conducted to evaluate the statistical significance of MBL according to the patient’s sex, implant site, and diameter. Independent sample t -tests were used to determine the statistical significance of MBL analysis which was used to determine the significance of the 5-year success and survival rates related to the variables. One-way ANOVA was conducted to evaluate the statistical significance of sex, implantation site, diameter, and MBL. Independent sample t -tests were used to evaluate the correlation between implantability and MBL for implantation reasons, while additional surgery, length, and Kaplan-Meier analysis were used to evaluate 5-year survival and success rates. Results: The mean age of patients was 54.2 years with a survival rate of 92.3% and a success rate of 83.3% over a mean 97.8-month period of observation. MBL averaged 0.2 mm after one year of prosthetic function loading and 0.54 mm at the time of final observation. Success rates correlated with primary stability (P=0.045), survival rates correlated with secondary stability (P=0.036), and MBL did not correlate with any variables. Conclusion: Ultra-wide implants can be used to achieve secure initial fixation in the maxillary and mandibular molar regions with poor bone quality or for alternative purposes in cases of previous implant failure.
