        Semiconducting 2,6,9,10-Tetrakis(phenylethynyl)anthracene Derivatives: Effect of Substitution Positions on Molecular Energies

        <P>2,6-Bis((4-hexylphenyl)ethynyl)-9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene, <B>4</B>, and 9,10-bis((4-hexylphenyl)ethynyl)-2,6-bis (phenyl ethynyl)anthracene, <B>5</B>, have been synthesized to study their electronic and photophysical properties. It should be noted that the difference between these compounds is the substitution position of 1-ethynyl-4-hexylbenzene groups into an anthracene ring. In particular, substitution in the 9,10-positions of the anthracene ring enhanced J-aggregated intermolecular interactions.         Three New Monotypic Genera of the Caloplacoid Lichens (Teloschistaceae, Lichen-Forming Ascomycetes)

        Three monophyletic branches are strongly supported in a phylogenetic analysis of the Teloschistaceae based on combined data sets of internal transcribed spacer and large subunit nrDNA and 12S small subunit mtDNA sequences. These are described as new monotypic genera: Jasonhuria S. Y. Kondr., L. Lokos et S. -O. Oh, Loekoesia S. Y. Kondr., S. -O. Oh et J. -S. Hur and Olegblumia S. Y. Kondr., L. Lokos et J. -S. Hur. Three new combinations for the type species of these genera are proposed.

        알부민이 첨가된 시험관내 약역학 감염모델을 이용한 폐렴알균 치료에서 Ceftriaxone 일일 1회 요법

        배경 : Penicillin 내성 폐렴알균이 증가하는 지역에서 대안 중의 하나로 사용되는 ceftriaxone (CTR)의 적절한 용법, 용량을 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구는 임상에서 분리된 폐렴알균을 대상으로 시험관내 약역학 감염모델을 이용하여 알부민이 첨가된 경우와 첨가되지 않은 경우 CTR의 일일 1회 요법의 효과를 비교해 보고자 하였다. 재료 및 방법 : Penicillin 감수성(SM24), 중간내성(SM47), 내성(SM60)주를 대상으로 2-구획 시험관내 약역학 감염모델을 적용하였다. CTR 주입은 2 g씩 24시간마다로 사람의 약동학을 모의하였다. 알부민은 모델에서 4g/ dL가 유지되도록 하였다. 살균효과는 0, 2, 4, 6, 24, 30, 48시간째 집락수 변화로 측정하였다. 결과 : 모든 균주에서 알부민이 첨가되지 않은 경우 6시간 이내에 살균력이 관찰되었다. 최저억제농도 및 알부민 첨가유무에 관계없이 3주 모두 24시간째 살균력이 관찰되었고, 48시간째는 모두 측정한계 이하의 집락수로 감소하였다. 전 실험과정에서 CTR에 대한 내성주는 출현하지 않았다. 결론 : CTR의 일일 1회 요법은 알부민이 첨가되었을 때, 감수성, 중간내성, 내성주 모두에서 살균력 발현이 지연되었으나 최종효과는 알부민이 없을 때와 다르지 않았다. 앞으로 알부민 결합효과와 관련된 기초적인 추가 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Background : During the era of increasing penicillin resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae, it is important to have knowledge about adequate dosage and dosing interval of ceftriaxone (CTR). We examined efficacies of once-daily CTR and compared results in an in vitro pharmacodynamic infection model (IVPDIM) supplemented with albumin and those without albumin. Methods : Using three clinically isolated S. pneumoniae that were susceptible (SM24), intermediate (SM47) and resistant (SM60) against CTR, we utilized a two-compartment IVPDIM. CTR 2 g was administered intravenously every 24 h. Human albumin was added with concentration of 4 g/dL. Samples were removed at multiple time points over a 48-h period to determine the colony counts. Results : In SM24 and SM60, bactericidal effects were observed within 6 hours in groups without albumin. The number of colonies during 1st 6 hours were more decreased in albumin-free groups than in albumin-supplemented groups (P<0.05). In SM47, similar results were found during 1st 6 hours (P=0.03). But, regrowth was observed in albumin supplemented group at 30 h. Irrespective of results of minimal inhibitory concentrations and albumin supplementation, bactericidal effects were shown at 24 h in all 3 strains. All groups were decreased below the detection limit at 48 h. Development of resistance was not detected throughout the entire study period in either strain. Conclusions : Although extents of killing in albumin supplemented broth of once-daily CTR dosing were delayed in all 3 strains compared with those of albumin free broth, final efficacies were not different between the two groups.

      • 미만성 경화 아형 갑상선 유두암 1예

        The diffuse sclerosing variant (DSV) is a rare malignant tumour that accounts for 0.7-5.3% of all papillary thyroid cancers. DSV tends to occur at a younger age and has a higher incidence of cervical lymph node metastases, compared with papillary thyroid carcinoma. A 62-year-old female patient diagnosed thyroid nodule with diffuse and mild increased 18F-deoxy-glucose (FDG) on FDG positron emission tomography (PET)-computed tomogram (CT) scan. The ultrasound images showed typical findings of DSV such as diffusely enlarged thyroid lobes and diffusely scattered microcalcification. We performed this patient ultrasonography guided fine needle aspiration and cytologic analysis revealed papillary carcinoma. Total thyroidectomy with central compartment node dissection and lateral lymph node dissection was performed and finally diagnosed DVS. The authors report this case with literature review.

        3'-Nucleotidase (3'-ribonucleotide phosphohydrolase, EC 3.1.3.6) in chickins, Gallus domesticus, tissues has been studied. The activity of this enzyme has been found in every tissues so examined. Muscle contained the highest activities (expressed as that amount of 1 ?mol of 3'-adenylic acid formed to inorganic phosphate per min under the conditions described below). The lowest activity was found in gills, heart, and intestine.

        본 논문은 선형으로 2개이상 연결되어 있는 병렬처리기에서 실행되는 프로그램의 병렬처리를 분석하였으며 선형연결된 프로세서들은 그래프로 표현되며 통신에 따라 발생하는 제약조건을 가진다. 본 연구는 선형 연결된 프로세서들에게 통신지연을 고려한 단편화된 프로그램들의 할당 알고리즘을 찾고 최적 할당 알고리즘을 위한 휴리스틱 방법을 모색하였다. This paper analyzes parallel processing of program at the system which are linearly connected processors with two or more processors, this system is presented graph theoretic model which describes the communication constraints of linearly connected processors. This study find assignment of program fragments to linearly connected processors that require communication delay and investigate heuristic method for optimal assignment algorithm.

        각종 소화성질환에서의 Campylobacter Pylori의 검출에 관하여

        Peptic disorders are among the most common maladies in korea as the world. In most cases their etiologies not be established and their pathophysioolgy remain obscure. Although the persence of fastric bacteria has been logn established, recently campylobacter pylori seems to be etiologic agent of peptic disorders. Campylobacter pylori is visualized in most cases of peptic disorders and not visualized after treatment of bctericidal agents, bismuth compound or metronidazole. We had a following results for identification of campylocacter pylori in stomach and duodenal mcuosa via endoscipc biopsy. 1. We studied 54 patients who had dyspeptic symptoms, 29 males. 2. Most patients are in 5th decades, next in 3rd and 6th in order. 3. Ptients were composed of 27 peptic ulcer, 22 gastitis and 5 gastric carcinoma. 4. Campylobacter pylori was identified in 69% of total patients, peptic ulcer 63%, gastritis 77%, stomach carcinoma leastly.

      • 최적 휴리스틱 타스크 스케쥴링에 대한 연구

        멀티프로세서 시스템에서 선행 조건을 갖는 타스크 스케쥴링은 시스템 처리기간에 많은 영향을 준다. 이러한 문제들은 NP-hard로 알려져 있으며, 많은 사람들이 휴리스틱 방법으로 최적해에 접근하려고 노력하고 있다. 우리는 기존 여러 방법들 (CP, MH, DL)과 통신기간과 임계경로 값을 고려한 새로운 휴리스틱 방법을 적용하여 상호 비교하였다. 다수개의 root와 terminate를 가지는 방향성 비순환 그래프(Direct Acyclic Graph)를 랜덤하게 생성하여 시뮬레이션한 결과 실행시간은 전체적으로 새로운 타스크 스케쥴링이 더 우수한 것으로 판명되었다. The task scheduling has an effect on system execution time in a precedence constrained task graph onto the multiprocessor system. This problem is known to be NP-hard, many people have made an effort to obtain near optimal schedule. New task scheduling method that has heuristic parameter as execution time and critical path length of its node compared with many methods(CP.MH.DL). We created randomly a directed acyclic graph with many roots and terminates, demonstrated that the new scheduler is superior to others by simulation result.

      • 복합재료 패널의 굽힘 및 비틀림 하중에 대한 유한요소 해석

        This study is to investigate the stiffness degradation in a composite laminated panel including matrix cracks subjected to bending and twisting moments. Micromechanics theory on the composite material is derived by introducing crack density. Iterative numerical scheme is developed to calculate the degraded composite stiffness which has nonlinear relation due to crack density. For the structural analysis of the composite panel, the finite element analysis is used. Structural responses of the composite panel are examined for various laminated angles and crack density under bending and twisting moments. Also, the effect of crack opening and closing is considered in the examination. It is realised that the matrix cracks may cause sever stiffness reduction and should be considered in the composite laminated panel.
