        구조 건전성 모니터링을 위한 광섬유 변위 센서 시스템 개발

        최근 구조 건전성 모니터링을 위해 다양한 센서와 분석 기술들을 적용하여 기계/토목 구조물의 처짐을 측정하는 연구들이 활발히 수행되고 있다. 처짐을 측정하기 위해 사용되는 다양한 전기 기반 상용 센서의 경우, 많은 수의 센서가 설치될 때 함께 설치된 다량의 전선들은 전기적 잡음 문제를 야기하여 사용상의 어려움을 발생시킨다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 센서의 문제점을 해결하면서 미세 변위를 손쉽게 측정할 수 있는 저가형의 광강도형 광섬유 변위 센서를 제안한다. 이를 위해, 광섬유 굽힘 손실 현상을 이용하여 센서부의 형태를 고안하였으며 민감도, 선형성 그리고 작동 범위를 구하기 위한 기초 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 변위 측정이 용이하고 구조물에 손쉽게 설치할 수 있도록 센서 헤드의 기구부를 새롭게 설계 제작하였으며, 이를 사용하기 위한 실시간 프로그램 또한 함께 개발하여 광섬유 변위 센서 시스템을 개발 완료하였다. It has been doing to research on novel techniques for structural health monitoring by applying various sensor techniques to measure the deflection in mechanical and civil structures. Several electric-based displacement sensors have many difficulties for using them because of EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) noise of many lead-wires when they are installed to many points in the structures. In this paper, it is proposed an affordable intensity-based fiber optic sensor to measure small displacement solving the problems of conventional sensors. In detail, the sensor head was designed on the basis of the principle of bending loss and a basic experiment was performed to obtain the sensitivity, the linearity and the stroke of the sensor. Moreover, a prototype was designed and manufactured to be easily installed to a structure and a real-time control software was also successfully developed to drive the fiber optic sensor system.

        갑상선암 세포주에서 아데노바이러스 - hNIS ( Ad - hNIS ) 유전자 이입에 의한 방사성 요오드 포획 증진 효과

        Background: The sodium-iodide-symporter (NIS) is a plasma membrane glycoprotein with 13 putative transmembrane domains, which is responsible for concentrating iodide into the thyroid by an active transport and provides the mechanism for radioactive-iodine (RAI) therapy for thyroid cancer. However, undifferentiated thyroid cancers and about 2050% of differentiated thyroid cancers do not take up the RAI at therapeutic dose. The NIS has been cloned from rat and human (hNIS) and characterized recently. In an attempt to develop a new therapeutic strategy using hNIS gene for improving the efficacy of RAI therapy in thyroid cancers, we have constructed a recombinant adenovirus encoding the hNIS (Ad-hNIS) and tested its function by an iodide uptake by infecting human thyroid cancer cells. Methods: RT-PCR was performed to measure an intrinsic hNIS expression in thyroid cancer cell lines, such as NPA, FRO and ARO. To generate the hNIS adenovirus, hNIS cDNA was isolated and ligated into Swa I site of cosmid shuttle vector (pAxCAwt). We have produced recombinant adenovirus by co-transfecting the cosmid with DNA-TPC to 293 cell line. Adenovirus that express (β-Galactosidase (LacZ) was also prepared by the similar strategy. Adenovirus infection efficiency was measured in three thyroid cancer cell lines. Finally, 24 hours after infection of ad-hNIS into the cells, I125-uptake was measured. Results: Endogenous hNIS expression was detected only in FRO cells but not in NPA, ARO and Hela cells by RT-PCR. X-Gal staining after infection of Ad-LacZ to thyroid cancer cell (NPA, ARO, FRO) showed that an infection rate in ARO cells was 98.5+0.5%, 97.0+0.2% in FRO cells and 75.5+5.0% in NPA cells. We selected ARO cells for the infection of Ad-hNIS due to the highest infection efficiency and the absence of endogenous hNIS expression. When ARO cells were infected with the ad-hNIS, I125 uptake was increased 504+6.4%. Conclusion: Overexpression of hNIS gene in thyroid cancer cells elicited over 5 fold increase in I-uptake, suggesting that th Ad-hNIS infection to the thyroid cancer cells may improve the efficiency of radioactive iodine therapy (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 15:522-53l, 2000).

        Abdominal wall hernia is one of complications on CAPD patients. The incidence of this complication varies from 9.9 to 24% among CAPD patients, with a greater incidence among women and old men. The majority of the reported herniae can be differentiated to be incisional (i.e., in the incision of the implanted catheter), umbilical and inguinal according to their locations. It is necessary that patients on CAPD be examined regularly for symptoms and signs of abdominal hernias. Recently, we experienced a 61-year-old man on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis complained of left scrotal and inguinal swelling and tenderness, which was diganosed as indirect inguinal hernia, left, associated with a hydrocele by transillumination and ultrasonography. A herniorraphy was performed, and his symptoms were subsided.

        제 4-5 요추간 유합술 후 수술 방법에 따른 인접 분절의 퇴행성 변화

        목적: 요추부 유합술 후 발생되는 인접 분절의 퇴행성 변화에 있어서 후외측 유합술과 후방 추체간 유합술 간에 차이가 있는가를 조사하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 퇴행성 요추질환으로 제4, 5요추의 유합술을 시행받고 3년 이상 추시가 가능했던 환자 157예 중 척추경 나사못을 이용하여 후외측 유합술을 시행한 86예를 Ⅰ군으로, 척추경 나사못과 cage를 이용하여 후방 추체간 유합술을 시행한 71예를 Ⅱ군으로 하여 후향적으로 조사하였다. 양 군 간에 성별, 연령, 수술 전 인접 분절의 퇴행정도, 최종 추시에서 유합 분절의 시상각 그리고 추시기간에서 표집 오차가 있는가를 조사하고 근위 및 원위 인접분절의 퇴행성 변화와 재수술의 비율에 차이가 있는가를 조사하였다. 그리고, 인접 분절의 퇴행성 변화가 있는 군과 없는 군을 대조하여 추체간 유합술 여부를 포함한 상기 비교 인자들 중 실질적인 위험인자를 다중 로지스틱 희귀분석을 이용하여 조사하였다. 결과: 수술 전 근위 인접 분절의 퇴행정도(p=0.036)를 제외하고는 표집 오차는 없었다. 근위부 퇴행성 변화는 Ⅰ군 31/86 (36%), Ⅱ군 26/71 (37%)이었으며 재수술은 Ⅰ군 8/86 (9%), Ⅱ군에서 6/71 (8%)로 유의한 차이가 없었다(p=0.541, 0.536). 원위부 퇴행성 변화는 Ⅰ군 9/86 (10%), Ⅱ군 8/71 (11%)이었으며 재수술은 Ⅰ군 4/86 (5%), Ⅱ군 2/71 (3%)로 유의한 차이가 없었다(p=0.536, 0.435). 양측 인접 분절 중 일측 이상 퇴행성 변화가 발생한 군(65/157, 41%)과 발생하지 않은 군(92/157, 58%)을 대조한 결과 고연령과 부족한 유합 분절 시상각이 유의하게 위험성을 증가시켰다(p=0.024, 0.001). 결론: 척추경 나사못을 이용한 제4, 5 요추간 분절 유합술 후 발생하는 인접 분절의 퇴행성 변화는 후외측 유합술을 시행한 군과 후방 추체간 유합술을 시행한 군 간에 차이가 없었다. 추체간 유합술 여부보다는 고연령과 적은 유합 분절 시상각이 인접 분절의 퇴행성 변화를 증가시켰다. Purpose: We wanted to investigate the difference in the incidence of post-fusion adjacent segment degeneration between performing posterolateral fusion and posterior lumbar interbody fusion. Materials and Methods: One hundred fifty seven patients who underwent L4-5 fusion using pedicle screws for degenerative lumbar disease and followed up more than three years were analyzed retrospectively. Eighty-six cases of posterolateral fusion (group Ⅰ) and 71 cases of posterior lumbar interbody fusion (group Ⅱ) were compared. Sampling bias was evaluated by comparing gender, age, the preoperative degeneration of adjacent segments, the sagittal angle of fusion segments on the last follow up and the follow-up period. The differences of adjacent segments degeneration and the revision rate between the two groups were investigated multilaterally. The actual risk factors for such degeneration were investigated by performing multiple logistic regression test, which contrasted the degeneration group with the non-degeneration group for all the above factors, including whether interbody fusion was done or not. Results: Sampling bias was excluded except for the preoperative proximal adjacent segments degeneration (p=0.036). There was no statistical difference in the final proximal degeneration (31/86, 36% in group Ⅰ, 26/7.1, 37% in group Ⅱ, p=0.536) and revision (8/86, 9% in group Ⅰ, 6/71, 8% in group Ⅱ, p=0.536). There was no statistical difference in the final distal degeneration (9/86, 10% in group Ⅰ, 8/71, 11% in group Ⅱ, p=0.536) and revision (4/86, 5% in group Ⅰ, 2171, 3% in group Ⅱ, p=0.435). When comparing those cases who developed degeneration on either side with the non-degeneration cases, the odds ratio of old age and an insufficient sagittal angle of the fusion segments reached statistical significance (p=0.024, 0.001). Conclusion: There were no differences in adjacent segments degeneration between the postero-lateral fusion group and the posterior lumbar interbody fusion group. Rather than the operation methods, old age and insufficient sagittal angle of the fusion segments were the actual risk factors of such degeneration.

        결체 조직 질환에서 조직학적으로 확진된 통상성 간질성 폐렴과 비특이성 간질성 폐렴의 임상상과 흉부 HRCT 소견의 비교 및 방사선학적 변화와 임상적 지표와의 연관성

        Objective: The purpose of this study is to assess the clinical characteristics and the serial changes of high resolution CT (HRCT) findings and to correlate those with the results of clinical parameters in biopsy proven nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP) and usual interstitial pneumonia (UIP) with connective tissue diseases (CTD). Methods: Retrospective analysis was made of forty patients with CTD diagnosed of NSIP and UIP from a single tertiary hospital between January 1996 and February 2006. Results: UIP was common in rheumatoid arthritis, systemic sclerosis and Sjogren`s syndrome, while NSIP was frequent in polymyositis/dermatomyositis. No significant difference was found in the clinical characteristics of patients with NSIP and UIP. In initial HRCT findings, extents of honeycombing and reticulation pattern were significantly more in UIP-CTD than in NSIP-CTD. In bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) results, proportion of alveolar macrophages was significantly higher in NSIP-CTD than in UIP-CTD. In NSIP-CTD, significant increment in the extent of reticulation and honeycombing was noted in the serial HRCT findings despite the aggressive treatment. Significant correlation was found between leukocytosis and honeycombing change in NSIP-CTD. Despite no significant difference of survival between two groups, patients with UIP-CTD seem to have a higher mortality than those with NSIP-CTD. Conclusion: It is suggested that chest HRCT and BAL fluid analysis may be helpful in the differential diagnosis of NSIP- and UIP-CTD and leukocytosis in initial blood test might be predictive of honeycombing progression in NSIP-CTD. Further study will be required to compare with the prognosis of NSIP- and UIP-CTD.

        The glass used for Mobile Camera Window is required to have high strength. Cell type manufacturing by means of CNC is widely used for camera window. Individual loading and unloading is needed for each process, such as painting and PVD, in cell type manufacturing. The purpose of this study is to search the enhanced manufacturing process with sheet type throughout bulk unit production in painting and PVD. This study includes sheet type manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, wet etching, 2nd tempering, printing, and AF/AR coating.
