본 연구에서는 폴리머 콘크리트의 수축저감을 목적으로 수지량, 수축저감제함량과 S/a 비등을 변화시켜 경화수축의 변화와 강도 특성을 실험적으로 구명하였다. 경화수축량은 수치량이 105%일 때 보다 11.5%일 때, 즉 수지량이 증가할수록 커짐을 알 수 있었다. 수축저감제의 첨가에 따른 경화수축량은 감소함을 알 수 있었다. B10.5-SR10일 경우 수축저감제가 첨가되지 않았을 때 보다 약 30%, B10.5-SR20 일 경우 약 53%, B11.5-SR10일 경우 약 31%, B11.5-SR20 일 경우 약 47% 정도의 수축저감의 효과를 볼 수 있었다. S/a 비에 따른 경화 수축챨ㅇ은 S/a 60일 때 가장 적은 값을 보였으며, S/a 50, S/a 40 일때는 S/a60 일 때 가장 적은 값을 보였으며, S/a 50, S/a 40일 때는 S/a 60일 때 보다 각각 10%, 30% 정도 수축량이 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 압축 및 휨 강도특성은 수지량이 증가할수록 높아지고, 수축저감제의 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮아짐을 알 수 있었다. S/a 비에 따른 강도 특성은 압축강도와 휨강도 모두 S/a 비가 60일 때 가장 큰 값을 보였으며, S/a 비가 50,40 순으로 감소하였다. Many different polymer based concrete materials are known today, but the large setting or hardening shrinkage of polymer concrete is a problem to overcome in their practical applications. The setting shrinkage reaches about five to ten times the drying shrinkage of ordinary cement concrete, i.e, 50 to 60 ×10^4. This paper deals with a reduction in the hardening shrinkage of unsaturated polyester resin concrete which is treated with respect to shrinkage-reducing agent content, S/a ratio and catalyst content, and tested for length change during hardening, and flexural and compressive strengths. It is shown that the change of shrinkage-reducing agent content and S/a ration the length change of the unsaturated polyester resin concrete during hardening.

Quantitative nondestructive evaluation(QNDE) gets hold of position and pattern of defects in mechanical components and estimates safety of structure. The ultrasonic defect detection out of QNDE is based on refraction of ultrasonic wave by defects in solid material. Neural network is information processing system modeling human brain and has an application to defect identification with ultrasonic defect detection. The present method consists of three process. The first process gets sample data on defect and ultrasonic wave parameters according to various defect patterns. In the second process, Neural networks is learned using sample data. In the third process, neural networks predicts defect patterns by unlearned data. This processes are applied to the identification of size and location of defects hidden in SM45C.

Fusarum species, which are common soil saprophytes, have been implicated as a pathogen causing a variety of opportunistic infections such as keratitis, onychomycosis, burn wound infection or disseminated systemic infections in immunocompromised hosts. We report a case of cutaneous infection caused by F. verticillioides in a 59-year-old man, with a long history of diabetes mellitus and alcoholic liver cirrhosis. He presented with a few papules and fluctuant cutaneous nodules on both forearms traumatized by woodstick 4 months ago. The diagnosis of F. verticillioides infection was established by histopathologic examination and findings of tissue cultures.
Expression of adiponectin, leptin, and their receptors in ovarian endometrioma

To evaluate the expression of leptin, leptin receptor (ObR), adiponectin, and adiponectin receptor (AdipoR) in ovarian endometriomas compared with normal endometrium, and to analyze relationships among adipokines and their receptors. Forty-four women with endometriosis and 42 age-matched women with no laparoscopic evidence of endometriosis as control subjects. Endometrial tissue samples were obtained during laparoscopic surgery. Immunohistochemical staining for leptin, ObR, adiponectin, and AdipoR was performed with the use of tissue microarray. Clinical characteristics were reviewed from the patients` medical records. The effect of leptin on the expression of adiponectin was evaluated in endometriotic cell line using real-time reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction. Positive expression rates of leptin and ObR were significantly higher in ovarian endometrioma compared with normal endometrium, but those of adiponectin and AdipoR were similar (ovarian endometrioma vs. normal endometrium, respectively: leptin 100% vs. 59.5%; ObR 72.7% vs. 33.3%; adiponectin 31.8% vs. 42.9%; AdipoR 88.6% vs. 73.8%). Expression of adipokines and their receptors did not show any correlation with disease stage. A positive correlation was found between expression of ObR and adiponectin (correlation coefficient 0.488; p=.001). Leptin treatment in endometriotic cells induced mRNA expression of adiponectin. These data suggest that leptin and its receptor are induced in ovarian endometriomas, and that the leptin/ObR system regulates adiponectin gene expression in endometriotic cells.

<P><B>Background and Aims</B></P><P>Smartphone addiction is a recent concern that has resulted from the dramatic increase in worldwide smartphone use. This study assessed the risk and protective factors associated with smartphone addiction in college students and compared these factors to those linked to Internet addiction.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>College students (<I>N</I> = 448) in South Korea completed the Smartphone Addiction Scale, the Young’s Internet Addiction Test, the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test, the Beck Depression Inventory I, the State–Trait Anxiety Inventory (Trait Version), the Character Strengths Test, and the Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analyses.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>The risk factors for smartphone addiction were female gender, Internet use, alcohol use, and anxiety, while the protective factors were depression and temperance. In contrast, the risk factors for Internet addiction were male gender, smartphone use, anxiety, and wisdom/knowledge, while the protective factor was courage.</P><P><B>Discussion</B></P><P>These differences may result from unique features of smartphones, such as high availability and primary use as a tool for interpersonal relationships.</P><P><B>Conclusions</B></P><P>Our findings will aid clinicians in distinguishing between predictive factors for smartphone and Internet addiction and can consequently be utilized in the prevention and treatment of smartphone addiction.</P>
