        임플란트 주위 골변화와 생존율에 대한 연구

        The success and failure of dental implants depends on various factors such as patient's systemic status, quantity and quality of surrounding bone, presence or absence of marginal infection and mechanical loading condition. The measurement of crestal bone changes around the implants is implemental to evaluate the success and long-term prognosis of the implant. This study was to evaluate the cumulative survival rate of the implants which had been placed in the Department of Periodontics, Chonnam National University Hospital between 1992 and 2003, and to observe the crestal bone loss around the implants which had at least 2 consecutive periapical radiographs after connecting the transmucosal abutment. The radiographs were scanned and digitalized, and the crestal bone levels on the mesial and distal surface of implants were measured using Image analyzer (Image Pro Plus, Media Cybernetics, USA), immediately after implant placement, at 2nd surgery, and 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and every year thereafter. Any bone loss was not observed during the period between the 1stand 2nd surgery, and the bone loss was 0.86 ${\pm}$ 0.92 mm for the first year of loading after connecting the transmucosal abutment. After 1 year of loading, annual bone loss was 0.1 ${\pm}$ 0.27 mm, and total bone loss was 0.90 ${\pm}$ 0.80 mm (during the average follow-up periods of 22.5 ${\pm}$ 25.6 Mos), The implant, with smooth surface, in the mandible, and with the fixed bridge prosthesis showed greater bone loss, compared to those, with the rough surface, in the maxilla and with single crown. In systemically diseased patients (including DM or osteoporosis), the greater bone loss was observed. The cumulative survival rate among 432 implants was 94.10% for 7 years. Among 15 failed implants, 9 implants were removed due to mobility from disintegration of bone-implant interface. From this results, crestal bone loss around the implants were greatest during 1 year after transmucosal abutment connection, and various factors could affect peri-implant bone loss. To prevent and predict the bone loss around the implants and improve the prognosis, further comprehensive maintenance and follow-up schedules are required.

        증숙 더덕 용매별 추출물의 Nitric Oxide 생성 저해 효과 및 Acetylcholinesterase 저해활성

        Steaming is a method that has traditionally been used for medicinal plant extraction. This study investigated nitrite oxide production, ferrous ion chelating activity, α-glucosidase, xanthine oxidase, and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activities of ethanol, acetone and hot-water extracts of Codonopsis lanceolata prepared by steaming seven times. MTT assay showed that each extract was non-toxic up to a concentration of 700 ㎍/mL confirming that there was no cytotoxicity in all extracts. The α-glucosidase, xanthine oxidase, and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activities exhibited by the hot-water extract obtained from steaming seven times were higher (83.1%) than the other extracts. Higher production of nitrite oxide and better ferrous chelating activity was recorded with hot-water extract compared to ethanol and acetone extracts. These results indicated that more steaming of Codonopsis lanceolata extracts would be required to validate the possibility of developing antioxidants. Also, further study is needed to determine if the components present in the tested extracts might be useful in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease. These results showed that hot-water extracts may be useful for their antioxidant and the production inhibitory activity of nitrite oxide. It will be helpful in the investigation of the constituent analysis of the steam-processed product of Codonopsis lanceolata.

        명화감상에 기초한 이야기꾸미기 활동이 유아의 그리기표상능력과 문해능력에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 명화감상에 기초한 이야기꾸미기 활동이 유아의 그리기표상능력과 문해능력에 미치는 효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 어린이집 유아 40명이며, 평균 월령은 71.55개월이었다. ‘그리기표상능력 평가척도’, '구문의미 이해력 검사도구'를 사용하여 연구자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 연구자료는 t-검증을 통해 실험처치의 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 분석 결과, 명화감상에 기초한 이야기꾸미기 활동을 실시한 실험집단 유아들의 그리기표상능력과 문해능력 점수가 비교집단 유아들보다 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구 결과는 명화감상에 기초한 이야기꾸미기 활동이 유아의 그리기표상능력과 문해능력 증진에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 시사하는 것이다. The purpose of this study is to develop an art appreciation program connected with story-making for young children and analyzed the effects of the program on young children's drawing representation ability and literacy ability. The subjects of this study were 40 young children who attended day-care center in S city. The mean age of the subjects was 71.55 months. It used ‘Drawing Representation Evaluation Scale’ and ‘Sentence Comprehension Evaluation Scale’ in collection of data. The experiment procedure was according to this order, a pilot study, a pretest, a four-week experiment, and a post-test. The experimental group participated in the story-making activity based on art appreciation while the comparative group participated in an art application based on art element. Both activities were totally carried out twelve times, three times a week for four weeks. The results of pretest and post-test were analyzed on the basis of t-test by SPSS Win 18.0 Program. It was revealed that there were significant differences between the experimental group and control group in the post-test scores. The scores of the experimental group in the drawing representation ability, literacy ability were significantly higher than the scores of the comparative group. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest that the Story-Making Activity based on Art Appreciation is effective for promoting young children's drawing representation ability and literacy ability.

        지유가 흰쥐의 급성위염 및 소화성 궤양에 미치는 영향

        본 실험에서 흰쥐에 실험적으로 급성위염, 위궤양 및 십이0지장궤양을 유발하고 지유 에틸아세테이트분획을 투여하여 항위염 및 항궤양에 미치는 영향을 검토하였던 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 지유 에탄올 추출물을 n-헥산, 클로르포룸, 에틸아세테이트 및 n-부타놀과 물로 계통분획하여 농축하고 in vitro에서 항산화력을 측정한 결과 에틸아세테이트분획이 가장 우수하였다. 지유 에틸아세테이트분획(SOL & SOH)의 HCl-EtOH급성위염에 대한 억제율은 각각 27.7%, 31.7%로 대조약물로 사용된 cimetidine(CMT, 47.2%)의 억제효과에는 미치지 못했으나 CON에 비해 우수하였다. Indomethacin유발 위궤양에서, SOL & SOH의 위궤양억제율은 각각 48.28%, 51.08%로 대조약물로 사용된 CMT(58.26%)의 억제효과에는 미치지 못했으나 CON에 비하여 유의성 있는 억제효과를 나타냈다. Shay 위궤양에서, 지유 에틸아세테이트분획을 십이지장에서 위내로 투여하였을 때 궤양 억제율은 SOL이 42.86%로 CON에 비하여 억제되었으나 유의성있는 효과는 아니었으며, 용량을 증량하여 투여한 SOH는 47.71%로 대조약물인 omeprazol(OMP)의 저해효과(62.00%)에 미치지는 못했으나 CON에 비해 유의적인 효과를 나타내었다. 위액량 및 총위산분비량에서, 지유 에틸아세테이트분획 투여로 CON에 비하여 32.11%와 47,69%, 24.28%와 34.69%의 감소로 유의성있는 효과를 나타냈으며 OMP(55.69%, 41.62%)에 근접하게 감소되었다. Pepsin 활성은 지유 에틸아세테이트분획 투여로 CON에 비해 각각 19.55%, 21.45%가 저하되었으나 유의성있는 변화는 아니었다. 수침ㆍ구속 스트레스에 의해 유발된 궤양의 경우, SOL는 궤양억제율이 9.23%로 CON와 유사하게 출혈을 동반한 깊은 궤양이 관찰되었으나 용량을 증량하여 투여한 SOH는 48.45%로 CON에 비해 궤양의 깊이도 얕아졌고 출혈을 동반한 궤양도 감소되어 유의적인 억제율을 나타내었다. Cysteamine 유발 십이지장궤양에서, CMT는 유발된 십이지장 궤양을 CON에 비해 54%정도 억제하여 우수한 항궤양효과를 나타냈고 시료투여군인 SOL 및 SOH는 CMT보다 우수하지는 않았으나 약 35~42%정도의 궤양억제율을 나타냈다. 이상의 실험결과에서 지유의 항위염 및 항궤양효과는 항산화물질에 의한 결과로 판단되어지며, 앞으로 위염 및 위궤양 개선을 위한 건강 기능성 식품으로 개발이 기대된다. Sanguisorba officinalis L. has been used as a traditional remedy for arthritis, neuralgia, diarrhea, vomiting, gastric ulcer and gastro-intestinal disorders. This study was performed to investigate the protective effects of ethylacetate fraction of Sanguisorba officinalis L. ethanol extract (SOE) on the gastric mucosal damage and gastric ulcer induced by HCl-ethanol, indomethacin, Shay-ligation method, restraint and water-immersion stress, and cysteamine in rats. The experiment animals were divided into four groups: a negative control group (CON), positive control group (cimetidine 100 ㎎/㎏-CMT or omeprazol 100 ㎎/㎏ administrated group-OMT), SOE 200 ㎎/㎏ administrated group (SOL) and SOE 400 ㎎/㎏ administrated group (SOH), respectively. Rats were given an oral or intraduodenal administration of SOE, and all SOE treatment groups compared with the CON significantly inhibited HCl-ethanol-induced acute gastritis and indomethacin-induced gastric ulcers in dose-dependent manner, of which effects were lower in a positive control drug (CMT). The inhibition rates (%) on the acute gastritis induced by HCl-ethanol and the gastric ulcers induced by indomethacin in rats, 17.66% and 48.28% in SOL, 21.71%, and 51.08% in SOH, and 47.26% and 58.26% in CMT compared with CON, respectively. In pylorus ligated rats, the groups of SOE showed decreases in the volume of gastric secretion and acid output. However, no significant differences were observed in the pepsin activity between treated groups. In addition, SOH also depressed gastric ulcers induced by restraint and water-immersion stress and duodenal ulcers induced by cysteamine. These results suggest that Sanguisorba officinalis L. has remarkable antigastric ulcer effects and could be developed as a new antigastric ulcer agents.

        증숙 더덕 에탄올 추출물에 대한 항산화·항균 활성

        This study was investigated the contents of total polyphenol, flavonoids and antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of Codonopsis lanceolata extracts according to different steaming times. The contents of total polyphenol and flavonoid proportionally increased from 6.45 mgGAE/g to 18.26 mgGAE/g and 2.01 mgRE/g to 6.12 mgRE/g according to ethanol extracts at EDS7. DPPH radical scavenging activity was found to have been 15.26~65.2% and showed the highest level of antioxidant activity at EDS7 was 65.2%. The activity of ABTS radical scavenging and SOD-like activity were also the same result. DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activity was related to the number of steaming, and the scavenging activity was increased up to 7 times of steaming. The antimicrobial activity of EDS7 had strong antioxidant activity. Antimicrobial activities were examined against 5 microorganisms related to pathogens and food poisoning. The antimicrobial Activity was different depending on the bacteria, but it was effective at the concentration of 300 mg/mL rather than 150 mg/mL. These results showed that Codonopsis lanceolata extracts with a different number of steaming would be conducted to confirm the possibility of developing antimicrobial and antioxidant. It will be helpful in the study of component analysis of Codonopsis lanceolata extracts processed products.
