세대별 식생활, 건강행동 및 영양소 섭취에 대한 연구: 2016~2019년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용하여

This study sought to analyze the diets, health behaviors, and nutrient intakes by generation using data from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Survey. The frequency of eating out and breakfast skipping rates were highest among Gen Z(1995~). The analysis of food group intake showed that the consumption of potatoes, beans, seeds, vegetables, fruits, seaweed, and fish and shellfish was highest in Gen X(1965~1979), while the intake of grains, seasonings, and vegetable oils was highest in Gen M(1980~1994) and Z. Nutrient intake analysis revealed that the intake of energy, protein, polyunsaturated fatty acids, n-6 fatty acids, cholesterol, and riboflavin was high in Gen M and Z, while the intake of water, n-3 fatty acids, phosphorus, and vitamin C was high in Gen X and M. Gen Z showed the highest intake of sodium, fat, unsaturated fat, monounsaturated fatty acid, and retinol. The results showed that the diet of the youth was generally worse than that of the middle-aged. Thus, for Gen Z, it is desirable to reduce eating out, lower the rate of skipping breakfast, increase the intake of vegetables and fruits, and reduce that of sugars and beverages.

Many research on the fabrication of Organic light emitting diodes (OLED) shadow masks with high resolution have been carried out because of the development of the smart-display industry. It is the parts of display panel which has millions of micro holes on invar (FeNi) fine sheet. Various techniques such as laser machining, chemical etching and Electrochemical micro-machining (EMM) are used to produce micro-hole arrays. In this study, Through-mask electrochemical machining (TMEMM) combine with portion of photolithography process was applied to fabricate micro-hole arrays on invar fine sheet. The sheet was coated with dry film photoresist. Two types of electrode, plate and mesh, was used to compare the influence of electrode type. The sheet was coated with dry film photoresist with micro-sized through holes. The results were compared in regard to uniformity and taper angle. Compared with the plate electrode, the mesh electrode has better uniformity and taper angle which is important criteria of OLED shadow mask. These results could be used to improve TMEMM for invar fine sheet when it is applied to fabricate micro-hole arrays and help to obtain optical uniformity and desired taper angles.

Piscidin 1 (Pis-1) from hybrid striped bass possesses antibacterial activities with high cytotoxicity. Previously, we reported that Pis-1[NkG], where Gly8 was substituted with positively charged Lys peptoid in Pis-1, shows high antibacterial activity with more potent bacterial cell selectivity than parent Pis-1 and Pis-1[PG] with Pro substitution at Gly8. Here, we investigated the effects of hydrophobic peptoid substitutions on antimicrobial activity and cytotoxicity of Pis-1. We designed Pis-1[NaG] and Pis-1[NlG] peptides, where Gly8 was replaced with alanine or leucine peptoids. Although hydrophobicity was increased in Pis-1[NaG] and Pis-1[NlG] compared with that in Pis-1[NkG], Pis-1, and Pis-1[PG], these peptides retained high antibacterial activity and showed no hemolytic activity when used at 100 μM. All peptoid-substituted peptides penetrated well the bacterial membrane and localized inside of the cytoplasm, while Pis-1 and Pis-1[PG] depolarized membrane severely. The flexible hinge structure formed by peptoid residues compared with the rigid bent structure formed by proline may explain their differential mechanisms of action. Most hydrophobic peptide, Pis-1[NlG], showed the most efficient inhibition of LPS (lipopolysaccharide)-induced nitric oxide production, indicating that it can be a potent antimicrobial peptide with anti-inflammatory activities. Peptoid substitution may facilitate the development of potent peptide drugs with bacterial cell selectivity.
NaCl 처리에 따른 감자 (Solanum tuberosum L.) 기내 식물체의 내염성 및 Proline 함량 변화

In order to compare salt tolerance among potato cultivars (Solanum tuberosum L.), in vitro plants of each cultivar were cultured on the Murashige and Skoog’s medium containing different levels of NaCl (0, 75, 150, and 225 mM). The suitable level of NaCl for a comparison of the shoot and root growth between potato cultivars was 75mM. Shoot length and weight were better in ‘Dejima’, ‘Superior’, ‘Jayoung’, and ‘Haryeong’ than in other cultivars such as ‘Goun’ and ‘Atlantic’. Normal root growth was observed in ‘Seohong’, ‘Superior’, and ‘Haryeong’, while ‘Goun’, ‘Atlantic’, ‘Dejima’, ‘Jowon’, and ‘Chuback’ showed no root. Proline contents in all the cultivars increased as affected by NaCl levels, then the increase amount was fewer in the cultivars showed a better growth in both shoot and root than in others showed a poor growth. As a result of this study, ‘Superior’ and ‘Haryeong’ were determined as salt tolerant cultivars and therefore using these cultivars it would be possible to potato production at salt arable land such as reclaimed tidal.
