This paper presents an approach for constructing an electro-thermal model of IGBT-devices as inverters considering variable switching frequencies and battery voltage for HEV/EV. IGBT losses depend on current, battery voltage, and switching frequency. Conventional inverter system uses a fixed switching frequency, but variable frequencies operation is needed to reduce switching losses and decrease junction temperature of IGBT. This paper develops the loss function of IGBT thermal model when switching frequencies vary. As a result, a difference between real temperature and estimated temperature of IGBT is reduced and hill holding performance of HEV/EV is improved.
MRFC를 이용한 IPM 모터 토크 맥동 최소화 제어법

Interior permanent-magnet (IPM) motor has been used as a traction motor because of high torque density and high efficiency. Maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) control that minimizes the motor copper loss is widely applied. However, the conventional MTPA control generates torque ripple because of the motor spatial harmonics. The multi-reference frame control(MRFC) method has been previously studied to reduce torque ripple. However, due to parameter-based and analysis-based current command extraction, torque ripple improvement performance is reduced due to parameter estimation errors and analysis imperfection. Additionally, only the 6th torque ripple was improved. In this paper, a test-based MRFC method was developed, and high-order (12th/18th) torque ripple were improved. The proposed method is verified through computer simulations and experimental results with 45 kW IPM motor embedded in Santa Fe hybrid electric vehicle (HEV).

As interest in green building has increased, construction market has evolved through BIM-based architecture also, BIM-based technologies have been developed simultaneously. Due to this aspect, the need of environmental analysis software utilizing BIM data became essential. This study shows that BIM-based integrated module provides objective analysis to proceed quick decision-making for a proposal. In addition to that, this integrated module creates a model through BIM data to analyze and report residential environment and energy consumption such as, daylight, view, ventilation and privacy in order to practically apply the BIM technology from the schematic design.
