        고속 병렬형 LM 이진 수열 발생기

        LM 발생기는 합산 수열 발생기가 갖고 있는 최대 주기, 최대 근사 선형복잡도 및 최고 차수 상관면역도를 동시에 만족하는 발생기이며, 입출력 무상관 발생기이다. 본 논문에서는 LM 발생기를 고속화 구현하기 위하여 m-병렬 LM 수열 발생기(m-parallel LM-BSG, Lee-Moon Binary Sequence Generator)를 제안하였으며, m=8인 병렬 발생기(8-parallel LM-BSG)를 세부 설계한다. 기존의 스트림 암호와 비교할 때, 제안된 알고리듬은 같은 안전성을 유지하면서 속도가 m=8배 빨라짐을 알 수 있었다. The LM generator is an improved summation generator with maximum period, near maximum linear complexity and maximum order of correlation immunity, and it has a property with the input-output correlation immunity In this paper, we propose the high-speed m-parallel LM-BSG and 8-parallel LM-BSG for detail as a design example. When compared with a conventional stream cipher, the properties of the proposed cipher exhibited the same crypto-degree (security) with a rt times faster processing.

        Statistical analysis is an essential component of all biomedical research. Use of descriptive and inferential analysis enables researchers to summarize findings and conduct generalizations from research findings. Physicians must keep current with clinical information to practice evidence-based medicine. In doing so, physicians need to access reports of original research. This requires the reader to critically appraise the design, conduct, and analysis of each study and subsequently interpret the results. However, many surveys reveal prevalent statistical errors in articles in medical journals, and it is also clear that many physicians are seriously unfamiliar with statistical methods. This constitutes a major barrier to the development of medical research. Given this situation, this review article discusses the use of statistical methods in medical journal articles, the status of statistical errors among them, and the results of evaluation of physician` understanding of statistical methods. Moreover, this article introduces the current trend in statistical reviews to improve the quality of medical journal articles, and explains the uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to medical journals.         크롬에 의해 유발된 백서 임파구 DNA-Protein Crosslinks의 복구

        Genotoxic agents can induce various DNA lesions. DNA-Protein Crosslinks(DPCs) were known as the important DNA lesions which could impair gene expression because DPCs had a high probability of resisting repair and persisting through cell cycle. This repair resistance of DPCs could have biological significance but had not been evaluated clearly yet. Most of the studies that have evaluated the repair of DPCs only compared the extent of DPCs repair with other DNA lesions. We injected $K_2CrO_4$, a genotoxic agent, into Sprague-Dawley rats intraperitoneally(5mg/kg) and isolated blood lymphocytes 12 hours later. These lymphocytes were cultured in the mitogen added growth media and mitogen free media separately. The degree of the repair of DPCs was monitored for 4 days by the K-SDS assay. 4 days later, the amount of DPCs decreased by 4.6% in the mitogen added media high increased by 10.9% in the mitogen free media. These results showed that DPCs induced by $K_2CrO_4$ were not repaired easily and the DPCs were biologically significant DNA lesions. We thought the decrease of DPCs in the mitogen added media was not due to the repair of DPCs, but from the increase of normal cell proliferation. Therefore, it is very important to consider the proliferation of normal cells when estimating the repair of DPCs.

        The number of keystream cycle sequences has been proposed as a characteristic of binary sequence generator for cryptographic application, but in general the most of binary sequence generators have a single cycle. On the other hand, S-box has been used to block cipher for a highly nonlinear element and then we apply it to the stream cipher with a high crypto-degree. In this paper, we propose a multiple-cycle binary sequence generator based on S-box which has a high nonlinearity containging SAC property and analyze its period, linear complexity, randomness and the number of keystream cycle sequences.

        금식 여부 및 측정 시간에 따른 13C-요소호기검사 결과의 평가

        Background/Aims : This study was designed to evaluate whether the result of 13C-urea breath test (UBT) was influenced by fasting status and to assess the adequate test duration for sample collection. Methods : Twenty-five volunteers were enrolled in this study. Their results were concordant in histology and standard (fasting) UBT for the diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection. Standard UBT was performed after 4-hour-fasting and nonfasting UBT was performed within 1 hour after each meal for the same subjects at one week interval. The breath samples were collected just before and at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, and 60 minutes after test meal (HelikitTM) and analyzed by isotope ratio mass spectrometer. H. pylori infection was defined as Δ13CO2 at 30 minutes was over 4%. Results : Of 25 volunteers, 13 were infected by H. pylori. Diagnosis of H. pylori the case in which infection was completely concordant in both standard and nonfasting states. In H. pylori infected group, Δ13CO2 was signifantly decreased in nonfasting state than standard state, and the mean Δ13CO2 of both states was the highest at 20 minutes after test meal. Ten minutes were sufficient to obtain ΔCO2 for diagnosis of H. pylori infection. Conclusions: The diagnosis of H. pylori infection is not affected by whether UBT using 75 mg of 13C-urea containing HelikitTM is performed in nonfasting state or its test duration is shortened.

        스마트카드 부채널공격관련 안전성 평가기준 제안

        This paper analyzes the side channel attacks for smartcard devices, and proposes the smartcard suity evaluation criteria for side-channel attacks. To setup the smartcard security evaluation criteria for side-channel attacks, we analyze similar security evaluation criteria for cryptographic algorithms, cryptographic modules, and smartcard protection profiles based on the common criterion. Futhermore, we propose the smartcard security evaluation criteria for side-channel attacks. It can be useful to evaluate a cryptosystem related with information security technology and in addition, it can be applied to building smartcard protection profile. 본 논문에서는 스마트카드 소자에 대한 부채널공격(side-channel attack)기법을 분석하며, 또한 부채널관련 스마트카드 안전성 평가기준을 제안한다. 부채널공격관련 스마트카드 안전성 평가기준을 설정하기 위하여 유사 암호 알고리듬, 암호 모듈, 그리고 국제공통 평가기준(CC)에 따른 스마트카드 보호 프로파일을 분석한다. 그리고 스마트카드 제품 평가시에 적용될 수 있는 보호 프로파일 수준의 부채널공격관련 안전성 평가기준을 제안한다. 제안된 평가기준은 정보보호 기술과 연관된 암호 시스템을 평가하는데 유용하며, 또한 스마트카드 보호 프로파일 개발에 적용될 수 있다.

        에 감염된 십이지장궤양 환자에서 HLA - DQB1 의 역할

        Background/Aims: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is associated with gastroduodenal ulcer and gastric cancer only in a small proportion of infected subjects. Both virulence factors of H. pylori strains and host immune responses have been suggested to play an important role in the development of such lesions. HLA has been considered as an important host factor in many diseases. The aim of this study was to examine the HLA-DQ loci among duodenal ulcer patients with H. pylori infection as potential host genetic factors related to the development of duodenal ulcer. Methods: Thirty-two duodenal ulcer patients and 74 controls who had endoscopic chronic gastritis were studied. HLA-DQA1 and HLA-DQB1 genotypes were determined by polymerase chain reaction using sequence specific oligonucleotide probes (PCR-SSOP) with peripheral bloods obtained from the patients and controls. Results: HLA-DQA1 distribution pattern of the patients showed no significant difference from that of the controls. However, the frequency of HLA DQB1*04 was quite lower in the patients than in the controls (p=0.02). Conclusions: The HLA-DQA1 does not seem to contribute to the disease susceptibility, whereas HLA DQB1*04 may contribute to the protection from duodenal ulcer in H. pylori infected subjects.         청소년과 대학생의 인터넷 중독 실태 및 치료기법 개발에 관한 연구

        이 연구는 인터넷 중독 문제를 겪고 있는 학생들에게 컴퓨터 교육으로서의 접근인 컴퓨터 활용을 병행한 프로그램을 투입하여 인터넷 중독증을 치료하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 스크래치 프로그래밍을 활용한 게임 만들기와 자기성찰 활동, 미래 직업 탐색활동 등으로 구성된 프로그램을 구성하였다. 이 치료 프로그램의 적용을 통하여 인터넷 중독 학생들에게 여러 가지 유익한 효과를 볼 수 있다고 본다. 첫째, 인터넷 이용 시간 단축이나 게임에 대한 몰입과 같은 중독증을 개선시키는 효과를 가져 올 것이다. 둘째, 본 치료프로그램은 대상자들의 인터넷에 대한 사고의 전환과 지적 능력의 향상을 가져올 것이다. 인터넷을 하는 것만이 재미있는 것이 아니라, 직접 내가 만들어 보고, 그것을 동료들과 공유하면서 프로그램제작의 즐거움을 알 수 있을 것이며, 알고리즘적 사고와 창의적 사고를 훈련함으로써 지적 사고력을 높이게 될 것이다. 셋째, 본 치료프로그램은 대상자들의 정의적 영역에도 긍정적인 효과를 가져와. 미래의 직업에 대한 탐색하는 시간을 통해 직업관의 깊이와 넓이를 넓히고, 자기성찰을 통한 반성을 통하여 메타자아를 발견하여 자신을 돌아볼 수 있으며, 자신감 성취감 등을 갖게 될 것이다. The purpose of this study is to treat the students addicted to the internet by implementing a program using computers. In order to accomplish the purpose, the program was created by combining the game making activities using scratch programming, self-examination activities, and future occupation search activities. This treatment program will have major positive effects on the students who are addicted to the internet. First, it will be effective for reducing the time for using the internet and it will also improve the addictiveness such as being immersed in playing games. Second, there will be a change in attitude toward the internet and an improvement in intellectual capacity of the students. They will realize the fun of making and sharing the programs with friends, and their thinking skills will be improved by getting training for algorithmic and creative thinking. Third, this treatment program will have positive effects on the students' affective domain. They will have deeper and wider perspective on occupation by searching their future occupation, and discover the meta-ego through self-examination., which in turn, help them gain confidence and feel a sense of accomplishment.

      • [미발표] 고수압 되메움지반에서의 철도터널보강방안 연구

        가좌정거장은 KTX 운행선 하부에 가시설 붕락사고로 인하여 급속되메움이 실시된 곳으로, 지하수의 유동이 많고 불규칙한 지반조건을 안고 있다. 본 연구에서는 위와 같이 열악한 조건을 가진 지반에서 NATM공법을 적용하여 터널굴착시 지반안정 및 차수방안과 되메움 지반 및 운행선 인접구간 응력거동에 따른 터널 천단부, 막장면 및 측벽보강방안을 제시하였다. 또한, 고수압 지하수에 따른 유속조건에서도 마찰지지력 확보가 가능하고 구근형성이 가능한 공법을 제안하였다. 여러가지 공법을 적용한 시험시공을 근거로 하여 되메움으로 인한 불규칙한 지반조건에서의 지하수 차수방안 및 터널 천단, 막장 및 측벽보강방안을 제시함으로써 향후 유사한 조건에서 터널굴착시 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The ground of the Gajwa station was quickly backfilled under emergency condition due to temporary retaining wall collapse adjacent to KTX railway and it consists of irregular dumped soil and highpressure underground water. This paper presents soil improvement and waterproof methods for NATM tunneling and reinforcements of tunnel crown, face and side wall to restrain stresses caused by railway load. In addition a new concrete piling method is proposed to obtain high frictional bearing capacity under highpressure groundwater condition. The proposed methods for soil improvement and reinforcing tunnel crown, face and side wall might be adopted in similar ground condition during tunneling project in the future.
