생명의 밥상으로서의 음식 윤리 모색 : 코로나 19 이후, 먹거리에 대한 단상

I think Covid 19 will and should be a turning point in changing human daily life. Covid 19 will make the post-human era come faster as the plague pandemic led the Renaissance 700 years ago. However, the dailiness shared by everyone on the planet not only makes people aware of its causes, but also can be an opportunity to transform our dailiness. This paper suggests the necessity of changing dailiness in relation to dining table. I found a link between disaster, dailiness, and food from the record of the disaster scene in "A Paradise Built in Hell: The Extraordinary Communities That Arise in Disaster" by Rebecca Solnit and the dailiness of Henri Lefebvre. And I also noted the need for change, considering the dining table and the human food culture that most directly shows the dailiness. Discussions of human ethical food in the modern society are directed towards sustainable dining tables, such as meat ban, organic, non-plant raising, and Kosher food preference that is a symbol of regulation and prohibition. Which of these alternatives can be a desirable and nature-friendly dining table? Market capitalism no longer provides an alternative in reality where the more the human greed is banned, the worse the dining table becomes. Thus, this paper attempted to find clues to create a vibrant dining table from Jesus' miraculous story 'five loaves of bread and two fishes' where the framework of regulation, ban and division is invalidated in the conflict of value judgment. 코로나 19는 분명히 인간들의 삶에 어떤 전환점으로 작용할 것이고 작용되어야 한다고 생각한다. 700년 전 흑사병의 팬데믹이 르네상스를 견인했던 것처럼 코로나 19는 포스트 휴먼 시대를 앞당길 수도 있을 것이다. 이 시점에 전 지구인이 공유한 일상은 어쩌면 원인에 대한 자각과 더불어 일상을 전환하는 계기로 작용할 수 있을 것이다. 이 글은 ‘밥상’, 먹거리에 대한 태도가 일상의 전환에 필요성을 제안한다. 재난과 일상성, 그리고 밥상의 연결 고리는 레베카 솔닛의 <이 폐허를 보라>에 담겨있는 재난 현장의 기록과 앙리 르페브르의 일상성에서 찾아 보았다. 그리고 그 일상성을 가장 가깝게 드러내는 인간의 먹거리 문화, 밥상을 바라보며 그 변화의 필요성에 주목했다. 현대 사회 속에서 인간의 윤리적 먹거리에 대한 담론은 지속가능한 식탁에 대한 관심으로 육식 금지, 유기농, 공장식 사육 반대 그리고 규제와 금지의 상징인 코셔(Kosher) 음식 선호 등으로 드러난다. 이러한 대안 들 중 과연 어떤 것이 바람직한 생명의 밥상이 될 수 있을까. 끝없는 인간의 탐욕에 대한 금기나 규제하면 할수록 진화되며 밥상을 어지럽히는 먹거리들 앞에서 시장 자본주의는 더 이상 어떤 대안을 주지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 가치판단의 충돌 앞에서 규제와 금지, 구분의 틀을 무효화 시키는 예수의 이야기 ‘오병이어의 기적’ 속에서 생명 밥상에 대한 작은 실마리를 찾고자 했다.

대학 인성 교육 모형으로서의 서비스 러닝 교과목 적용 사례 연구

본 연구는 서비스 러닝 교과목이 학습과 봉사, 지식과 행동, 대학과 지역 사회의 연계를 통해 인성 교육의 일환으로 효과가 있는지에 주목했다. 하나의 사례로 L대학 서비스 러닝 모형 <노인과 미디어> 교과목 분석을 통해 봉사-학습의 인성 교육 가능성을 제시했다. <노인과 미디어> 교과목은 노인이 주인공이 되는 영상자서전 제작을 통해 세대가 공감할 수 있는 미디어 컨텐츠를 시도한 수업이다. 본 수업을 통해 직접 봉사 외에 영상 스토리텔링에 대한 잠재적 가능성을 공유하는 간접 봉사에 더욱 적극적이며, 수업 전·후 봉사학습 진단을 통해 학생들의 소통과 공감, 섬김 역량이 향상되는 결과가 도출되었다. 내용적인 측면에서도 세대간 새로운 공감의 의미를 발견할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 L대학교에서 2021년 1학기 개설된 ‘노인과 미디어’ 교과목의 비대면 온라인 기반 교양수업에 참여한 학생을 대상으로 한 최종 과제물 분석, 대학생핵심역량 K-CESA진단 등을 통해 수업 성과를 분석했다. 이에 대한 연구 결과 ‘서비스 러닝 모형으로서의 노인과 미디어’ 수업은 지역사회 인식 및 봉사 동기부여 역량을 증진시킨 결과를 보여주었다. 본 연구가 주목한 인성 교육을 위한 서비스 러닝 교과목은 결과적으로 ‘봉사’에 대한 관점의 변화를 통해 소극적인 소양 교육을 넘어 질적인 변화의 가능성을 어느 정도 실현했다고 보여지며 앞으로 좀더 정교한 교과목 설계와 운영을 통해 서비스 러닝의 인성교육의 효과를 증진시킬 수 있도록 후속 연구를 진행하고자 한다.

선생님의 해방일지 : P. 프레이리의 『페다고지』 다시 읽기

This study aimed to understand the crisis in education and the decline of teachers' authority, considering the recent extreme choices made by teachers. The severity of the situation has outraged teachers and society, and legislation has been passed to protect teachers' authority. However, whether these solutions will effectively restore the three pillars of education is still being determined. Already under neoliberalism, education has thrown teachers, students, and parents into an infinite competition, and no one can be held accountable. Paulo Freire foretold the threats of neoliberalism when it is met with education. Freire argued that education aims for the "human liberation" of the oppressed and that the teacher teaches and learns and pointed out that ‘A teacher can exercise authority, and be an authority, without becoming authoritarian.' Freire's philosophy of education and interpretation of the qualities of a teacher is a valid point, and his arguments can serve as a small step in restoring our educational community. 본 연구는 최근 교사들의 극단적 선택을 목도하며 교육의 위기와추락한 교권의 현장을 파악하기 위해 시작되었다. 이 사태의 심각성앞에서 교사들 뿐 아니라 사회 전체가 분노했고 교권 보호를 위한법안도 통과되었다. 하지만 이러한 해결책이 과연 위기에 처한 교육을회복시킬 수 있을지 실효성에 대해서는 확신하기 어렵다. 이미 신자유주의 속에서 교육은 무한 경쟁 속에 교사와 학생, 학부모를 던져버렸고 그 책임은 오롯이 그 누구도 질 수 없는 상황이다. 이 지점에서교육이 신자유주의와 만나게 될 때의 위협을 예언한 파울로 프레이리(Paulo Freire)의 비판을 소환해 보았다. 프레이리는 교육이란 억눌린 자들의 ‘인간 해방’을 목적으로 하며 교사란 가르치는 동시에 배우는 존재이며 교사의 권위는 ‘권위를 버릴 때 주어진다’ 라고 주장했다. 프레이리의 교육에 대한 철학과 교사의 자질에 대한 해석이 적실한지적이라고 보이며 그의 주장이 지금, 우리 교육 공동체 회복에 작은단초가 될 수 있기를 바란다.

Transparent cryogenic thermosiphon using N2 and CF4 mixture as the working fluid

A mixed working fluid has a potential to widen the operation temperature range of the thermosiphon. In this study, the thermosiphon using N2 and CF4 mixture as the working fluid is fabricated and tested to verify its transient thermo hydraulic characteristic. A transparent pyrex glass tube was used for the thermosiphon itself and the vacuum chamber was also fabricated by glass to visualize the internal state of thermosiphon. Onset of condensation temperature was related to the partial pressure of CF4. Two solidifications were observed and condensate temperature range of mixed working fluid was from 160 K to 70.7 K with N2 25% composition.

종교 개혁과 대학교육 개혁, 그리고 교양교육 : 개혁자들의 비텐베르크 대학 교양교육과정 개편을 중심으로

Luther’s Reformation was not simply restricted to the reformation of churches, but involved the reformation of the general social systems, with a special emphasis on ‘educational reformation.’ This study particularly concerns one of his elaborate efforts for educational reformation: the curriculum reorganization of German universities, including University of Halle-Wittenberg. This study will also focus on Philip Melanchton, called ‘Praeceptor Germaniae (teacher of Germany),’ who played a leading role together with Luther in the Reformation and education. Based on this analysis, this research compares Reformers with Martha Nussbaum as it focuses on her educational viewpoint which emphasizes the incessant reading and learning of humanistic texts and works in that they are similar each others as such that they are of one accord in thinking that education should not be limited to a personal dimension but be oriented to community, and that education should be the activities of listening to and learning the truth with struggle and agony and unceasing sharing. In light of the education intended by the reformers of 500 years ago, this paper reconsiders the necessity of the education that pursues ‘what needs to be learned,’ rather than ‘what must be done’ or ‘what can be done.’ 루터의 종교개혁은 단순히 교회 개혁을 넘어서는 사회 전반을 아우르는 개혁 이었고, 무엇보다 ‘교육 개혁’이기도 했다. 특히 본 연구는 그의 교육 개혁의 시도 중 공을 들였던 한 부분, 비텐베르크 대학을 비롯한 독일 대학들의 교육과정 개편 에 주목하고 있다. 그리고 종교개혁과 교육이라는 무대에서는 루터와 동등하게 주인공 역할을 했던 ‘Praeceptor Germaniae’(독일인의 교사)’라고 불리는 멜란히 톤(Philip Melanchton)을 함께 조명할 것이다. 본 논문은 개혁가들의 교양교육 개편 과정에 주목하면서, 현대 사회의 교양교육의 문제를 함께 고민하면서 교양 교육에 대한 마사 누스바움의 견해를 함께 제시하면서 비교하고자 한다. 교육이 한 개인의 차원이 아니라, 공동체를 지향해야 하며 진리를 듣고, 익히며, 갈등하 고 고민하며 끊임없이 나누는 것이 교육이라고 생각하는 점에서 이 둘은 공통점 을 가지고 있다. 현재 우리 교육은 ‘무엇을 알아야 하는지’를 잃어버린 채 ‘무엇을 할 수 있는지’를 향해 달려가고 있다. 본 논문은 500년전 개혁자들이 교육에 대한 의지를 통해 ‘해야 할 것’, ‘할 수 있는 것’이 아닌 ‘알아야 하는 그 무엇’을 향한 교육의 필요성을 다시 한 번 재고한 작업이다.

대화를 넘어, “콘비벤츠”로

This study presented convivienz that combines even up the dimension of life, with paying attention to a matter that a dialogue between religions stops at declaration. The purpose of this study is to show one alternative plan in which convivienz can be applied very usefully at a point that a dialogue is regarded as impossible. The relationship between Christianity and other religions is generally classified into exclusivism, inclusivism, and pluralism. By the way, these arguments are just the controversy within Christian religion. Also, a dialogue between other religions, which these people emphasize, simply stops in declaring a virtual norm as a whole. A dialogue between Christianity and other religions needs to be practically performed at a place of life. Also, this meeting needs to be spread in the total ground such as academic, theological, spiritual, and life dialogue. As such overall ground, this study introduces Conviviez that is presented by T. Sundermeier. Convivienz is explained together with two concepts called ‘Convivialidad’ and ‘conviviencia.’ Convivienz is a word that means small community of the vulgar herd in South America based on the emotion of Convivialidad. This place is space that is formed with meeting, dialogue, learning, and festival. By the way, conviviecia, and convivienz as experience of communal life, which is placed on its origin, can persuasively combine theory and practice aiming at existence with other religions. Namely, that is because convivienz is completed through learning, assistance, and feast as well as dialogue. T. Sundermeier sees that Convivienz is possibly realized by small local churches in modern times. This study puts forward Stanley Johns as one model that realized the spirit of convivienz at the missionary field. He showed one model in missionary work through dialogue and community in India.

기계적 합금화된 금속간화합물의 규칙화에 미치는 열처리의 영향

Small Strain Niobium Nitride Anode for Potassium-Ion Batteries

Potassium-ion batteries (KIBs) was recently evaluated as next-generation batteries due to similar standard redox potential of Li/Li⁺ and low cost of potassium resources. However, there are some challenges for searching suitable anode materials. i) Unstable cycle performance of carbonaceous materials due to severe volume expansion ii) metal oxide due to small host for accommodating large ionic size of potassium. In this work, we report ordered mesoporous niobium nitride/N-doped carbon hybrids (m-NbN/NC) as anodes for KIBs for the first time. The electrode delivers reversible capacities of 145 mA h g^-1 at 100 mA g^-1. Additionally, the capacity retention reached almost 100% after 2000 cycles showing superior cyclability. In situ XRD and ex situ SEM analyses were performed to verify the change of m-NbN/NC structure during cycling. Interestingly, mesopore structure was well maintained and accompanied by small strain, which is ascribed to high proportion of surface-controlled reaction.
