Lion’s Mane Mushroom, Hericium erinaceum, is a traditional edible mushroom widely used in culinary applications. It has been also used as a medicine in East Asian countries due to its various biological activities. Chemical investigation of fruiting bodies of this mushroom afforded many aromatic compounds, which were mostly isolated from polar fraction of its extracts. Herein we tried to investigate non-polar compounds from the extracts of this mushroom. CHCl3-soluble fraction of the extracts was subjected to chemical investigation, which resulted in isolation of four compounds. Their chemical structures were elucidated as ircicerebroside (1), cortenuamide A (2), 1-D-arabinitol-monolinoleate (3), and cinnamic acid (4) on the basis of spectroscopic data. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of compounds 1, 2, and 4 from Hericium erinaceum.
Research on the Intention to Use and Influential Factors of Mixed Reality Software in Art Education

Recently in the rapid development of science and technology has diversified the forms of digital technology applications in the field of cultural education, and numerous scholars have extensively discussed the application of digital technology in cultural products. In this study, by integrating the Technology Acceptance Model, the Information System Success Model, and the Use and Gratification Theory, a theoretical model of influential factors on the intention to use mixed reality products was constructed. The conclusions drawn from data analysis are as follows: information quality has a positive impact on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use; system quality does not have a positive correlation with perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use; use satisfaction does not have a positive correlation with perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use; perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use both have a positive impact on usage attitude; perceived ease of use has a positive impact on usage attitude. Based on these findings, considerations and suggestions for the design of mixed reality software in art education are proposed.

Twenty-four oleanane-type triterpenoid saponinswere isolated from a methanol extract of the Pulsatillakoreana roots. Their structures were elucidated by comparingspectroscopic data to published values. Amongthem, compounds 8–12 and 20–24 significantly diminishedthe proliferation of HL-60 human promyelocytic leukemiacells with IC50 values from 0.3 to 4.2 lM, whereas compounds7 and 19 showed moderate cytotoxic activity. Furthermore, apoptotic characteristics such as chromatincondensation and increase in the population of sub-G1hypodiploid cells were observed after the HL-60 cells weretreated with these compounds.
모바일 관광애플리케이션의 서비스품질에 따른 소비자의 사용의도에 관한 연구 : 기술수용모델(TAM) 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Mobile Tourism Application Service Quality on consumer’s attitude and intention that applying the Technology Acceptance Model to which the Contents Quality, System Quality and Interaction Quality as independent variables were added. In order to measure the theoretical variables and ensure the reliability and validity of measurement tools correctly we used the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The results of this study are as follow. Firstly, the empirical results showed that 3 components of Mobile Tourism Application Service Quality have a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness and Perceived ease of use. Secondly, a significant correlation was observed between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and intention to use tourism application. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the theoretical extension of TAM which suggested that tourism marketers as well as application developers should pay attention to tourism service quality in the acceptance and adoption of tourism application and each of the components should be taken into consideration in the development of marketing strategy.

In this phytochemical study, 5 xanthones,1,3,5,6-tetrahydroxyxanthone [1], 1,5,6-trihydroxy-3-methoxyxanthone [2], ferrxanthone [3], brasilixanthone B [4], and neolancerin [5] were isolated from adventitious roots of St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum L.). Compound 1-5 were evaluated for antioxidant activities using the intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS)radical scavenging 2',7'-dichlorfluorescein-diacetate (DCFDA)assay and for cytotoxic activity against the HL-60human promyelocytic leukemia cells. Among them,compound 1-4 exhibited scavenging activity with inhibition values of 27.4-33.2% at 10 μM; compound 1, 2,and 4 reduced the viability of HL-60 cells significantly,with IC50 values of 31.5, 28.9, and 27.7 μM, respectively.
Phenolic Compounds from Desmodium caudatum

Three C-glucosyl flavones (1 - 3), one xanthone (4), and four flavanonols (5 - 8) were isolated by various chromatographic methods from the leaves and stems of Desmodium caudatum (Thunb.) DC. Chemical structures of these compounds were elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR and mass spectroscopy. The compounds were identified as swertisin (1), spinosin (2), 7-methyl-apigenin-6-C-b-glucopyranosyl-2''-O-b-D-xylopyranoside (3), 1,3,5,6-tetrahydroxyxanthone (4), yokovanol (5), aromadendrin (6), 2'-hydroxy yokovanol (7), and 2'-hydroxy neophellamuretin (8). Compounds 2 - 4 were first isolated from D. caudatum, as well as the spectroscopic data for compound 3.
Novel CRF1-receptor Antagonists from Pulsatilla koreana Root

In this study, twenty-one oleanane-type triterpenoid saponins were isolated from a methanol extract of the roots of Pulsatilla koreana. Antagonistic activities were measured in these compounds by the aequorin based cellular functional assay system for the corticotropin releasing factor receptor (CRF1). Of them, compounds 7 - 10 showed the highest degree of CRF1 inhibition further at the concentration of 10 μM. Moreover, by the analysis based on the structure-activity relationship of isolated saponins, a sugar chain at C-3 and a carboxyl group at C-28, as well as a methyl group at C-23 seems to be key functional elements. To our knowledge, this is the first report on CRF1 inhibition of saponins from P. koreana.

Recently, the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT has been increasing in various fields such as interactive commerce and mobile financial services. However, LMMs, which are mainly created by learning existing documents, can also learn various human biases inherent in documents. Nevertheless, there have been few comparative studies on the aspects of bias and discrimination in LLMs. The purpose of this study is to examine the existence and extent of nine types of discrimination (Age, Disability status, Gender identity, Nationality, Physical appearance, Race ethnicity, Religion, Socio-economic status, Sexual orientation) in LLMs and suggest ways to improve them. For this purpose, we utilized BBQ (Bias Benchmark for QA), a tool for identifying discrimination, to compare three large-scale language models including ChatGPT, GPT-3, and Bing Chat. As a result of the evaluation, a large number of discriminatory responses were observed in the mega-language models, and the patterns differed depending on the mega-language model. In particular, problems were exposed in elder discrimination and disability discrimination, which are not traditional AI ethics issues such as sexism, racism, and economic inequality, and a new perspective on AI ethics was found. Based on the results of the comparison, this paper describes how to improve and develop large-scale language models in the future.
