Objectives: The objective of this study was to report a clinical case that suggests potential beneficial effects of Korean medicine therapy for the treatment of levosulpiride-induced acute dyskinesia. Methods: A patient having drug-induced acute dyskinesia was given a series of Korean medicine therapy treatments, including administration of the herbal medicine Chengsimyeonja-tang-gamibang, acupuncture, electroacupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and moxibustion over the 17 days of the hospitalization period. During the therapy, the progression of the disease was measured by the Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale (AIMS). Results: During the therapy, the remission of orofacial dyskinesia and improvement of AIMS scores were observed. Conclusion: Korean medicine therapy has potential benefits for the treatment of drug-induced acute dyskinesia.

Objectives: This clinical study reports the effects of Cheonggansoyo-san (CSS) on three patients with glossodynia. Methods: Three patients with glossodynia were treated with CSS (i.e., an herbal medicine) and acupuncture. Numeric rating scales (NRSs) for glossodynia and dry mouth and hwa-byung questionnaire scores were evaluated, and the results from heart rate variability (HRV) evaluations were analyzed. Results: After treatment with CSS, three patients' glossodynia symptoms, such as burning sensations, tingling, and numbness of the tongue, were improved. NRS ratings for glossodynia and dry mouth and the hwa-byung questionnaire scores also improved, and HRV parameters were closer to the normal range. Conclusion: Cheonggansoyo-san could be used to treat glossodynia.
화순 홍수조절지의 유입유출 구조물에 대한 수리모형실험 연구

Recently, a heavy rainfall under climate change causes the flood exceeded river's conveyance. Flood control methods under the limited river width are the increase of embankment, the construction of storage pockets and diversion channel, the dredging of river bed. Hwasun flood control reservoir of washland is designed as the storage pockets and the regulating gate for the control of water level. In this study, the propriety of design was investigated through hydraulic experiments for the circumstances to exclude the constant flood discharge during operation period. In the results, the over flow rate of side weir exceeded the flow of design and indicated to be able to discharge the designed flow in the regulating gate opened 1.1 m. The high velocity 7.1 m/s behind the gate has investigated to reduce under 3.3 m/s by the baffle block. 최근 기상변화에 의한 집중호우는 하천의 통수능력을 초과하는 홍수를 발생시키고 있다. 하천의 폭이 제한된 상태에서 이러한 초과 홍수에 대비할 수 있는 관리방법은 제방증고, 저류지 및 방수로 건설, 하상 준설 등을 생각할 수 있다. 천변저류지인 화순홍수조절지는 저류지와 수위조절을 위한 제수문이 설계되어 있다. 본 연구는 저류지 운영시간동안 일정 홍수량만을 배제해야 할 상황에 대해 설계의 적정성을 수리모형실험을 통해 검토하였다. 검토결과 저류지 유입부의 횡월류위어 월류량은 설계상의 월류량을 초과하였고, 제수문 1.1m 개방시 설계유량($326m^3/s$)을 방류할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 설계유량 방류시 제수문 직하류에 7.19m/s의 고유속은 baffle block을 설치할 경우 3.3m/s까지 저감시킬 수 있는 것으로 검토되었다.

In Korea, although the damage from disaster (flood and storm) is increasing, the early stage warning and countermeasure are not in operation rapidly. The research areas of transportation engineering arenot diverse, so once the road is flooded and interrupted, drivers, the system operators and managers are in panic, and nearby roads are in terrible traffic congestion. In case of Korea, the research of evacuation is highly needed, because it is very necessary and easy to apply in real field. In this paper, we establish the concept of transportation disaster prevention system and suggest the directions of it. In addition, based on this research, we choose one example of disasters and establish an example of the transportation disaster prevention system. Our goal is to make steps; prevention, preparation, countermeasure and restoration in the view of minimizing on social chaos and damages emphasizing aspect of transportation countermeasure. This research will be the good precedent of approach, analysis and countermeasure when the disasters are occurred, and a basis of transportation disaster prevention system and manual in Korea.
질화갈륨 나노 막대 형성을 위한 핵화층의 성장 온도에 따른 물성 연구

수소화물기상증착법을 이용하여 질화갈륨 핵화층을 성장시켰고, 성장 온도에 따라 상이한 구조적 특성을 갖는 핵화층이 질화갈륨 나노막대의 형성에 어떤 영향을 주는지 방사광 x-선 산란과 원자힘 현미경을 이용하여 연구하였다. 서로 다른 온도에서 성장시킨 질화갈륨 핵화층들의 (002) 브래그 봉우리에 대한 록킹 곡선(rocking curve)을 측정한 결과, 반폭치가 작은 주 봉우리와 반폭치가 넓은 작은 봉우리의 합으로 표현됨을 관측하였다. 이러한 현상은 핵화층의 표면 형상과 연관되어져서 설명될 수 있음을 정성적으로 보였고, AFM 결과와 비교해 볼 때 안정적인 나노막대 성장을 위해서는 핵화층이 저온에서 성장되어야 함을 확인하였다. GaN nucleation layers were grown by hydride vapor phase epitaxy (HVPE) and the effect of growth temperature on the structural properties of GaN nucleation layers for nanorods was investigated by synchrotron x-ray scattering and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). For the samples grown at different temperatures, two-component rocking profiles of (002) GaN Bragg peaks for the GaN nucleation layers were observed with one very sharp and the other broad. It was shown that the two-component rocking profile could be qualitatively explained by surface morphology, which was in good agreement with AFM result, from which we could conclude that relatively low temperature is favorable for GaN nanorods formation.
Servo 구동 장력 조절 장치 최적화 설계에 관한 연구

Tension control of fiber manufacturing process system is usually achieved by using loadcell and powder clutch, which require additional mounting space, reduce the reliability in harsh environments and increase the cost of the system. The physical properties of textile fabrics are very sensitive to several factors(temperature, humidity, radius change of warp beam etc.)which result in tension change. In this paper, the optimal tension control of servo motor driver system using PI control algorithm is presented. The proposed tension algorithm is robust to disturbance and tension variation. First the modeling and dynamic behaviors of the tension system is described. Then validity and usefulness of the proposed algorithm and mechanical system are thoroughly verified through numerical simulation and actual conditions.

담지된 백금촉매에 주석의 첨가는 포화탄화수소의 탈수소고리화 반응에 대한 촉매의 활성 및 안정도의 현저한 증가를 가져왔다. n-octane의 탈수소고리화 반응에서 0.75wt%의 Pt에 대해 주석의 몰비가 약 4일 때 가장 높은 촉매적 활성을 나타냈다. 또한 K의 첨가도 n-hexane의 탈수소고리화 반응에 대해 주석과 비슷한 효과를 나타내었다. n-octane의 전환반응의 경우에는, K의 첨가 효과가 적게 나타났다. The addition of Sn to Pt/γ-Al_2O_3 catalyst greatly enhanced the activity and decreased the deactivation rate for the dehydrocyclization of paraffins. For the dehydrocyclization of n-octane, there appeared to be an optimal ratio of Pt:Sn= 1 :4 for 0.75 wt% Pt/γ-Al_2O_3 catalyst. The addition of K to Pt/γ-Al_2O_3 also produced a similar effect on the dehydrocyclization of n-hexane. In the case of n-octane, the addition of K led to a less selective catalyst.
