In this paper, we propose a simple and relative electrode contact monitoring method. By exploiting the power line interference, which is regarded as one of the worst noise sources for bio-potential measurement, the relative difference in electrode impedance can be measured without a current or voltage source. Substantial benefits, including no extra circuit components, no degradation of the body potential driving circuit, and no electrical safety problem, can be achieved using this method. Furthermore, this method can be applied to multi-channel isolated bio-potential measurement systems and home health care devices under a steady measuring environment.

한의학에서는 사상체질(태양인, 태음인, 소양인, 소음인) 구분을 위해 손등피부의 특징 중 하나인 거침/미끄러움을 이용하여 한의사의 주관적인 판단으로 사상체질을 구분해 왔다. 한의사의 손등피부 거칠기의 주관적인 촉진을 정량적 및 객관적으로 진단하기 위하여 피부마찰력진단기기를 개발하였다. 피부마찰력진단기기는 3축 로드셀 센서를 이용하여 한의사가 손등피부를 만지는 것과 같은 움직임으로 측정하며, 측정된 물리량 중 피부의 거침/미끄러움으로 계산되는 운동마찰계수 값을 이용하여 손등피부의 특성을 나타내었다. 본 연구에서는 피부마찰력 진단기기를 이용하여 객관적으로 손등피부의 특성을 측정해 보고 사상체질 진단의 객관적인 지표를 찾는 것을 목표로 한다.
숲 이미지 산책이 여자소년원 원생들의 공격성 및 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

Many works strongly show that forest healing has positive effects on both psychological and physiological aspect of human health. Unfortunately, people restricted mostly to indoor activities, such as the disabled, elderly in long-term care, and reformatory facility students, are not normally able to attend forest healing programs. Therefore, this study examined the psychological effects of indoor forest experiences on human health. Twenty-two students in a female reformatory facility participated in this study: 11 students participated in the walking program in the forest image 10 times for 15 minutes per day (the experimental group) and the rest were part of the control group. The experimental group imagined walking in a forest while viewing forest image slideshow and listening to forest sounds, while the control group did not. Aggression and self-esteem were measured before the start of the program, at the end program, and 2 weeks after the program has ended. The experimental group showed a significant increase in self-esteem while showing only a slight decrease in aggression. The results suggest that people who have lack of access to outdoor activities may enjoy the benefits of forest experiences within indoors.
Correlation among Quality Attributes and Storability by Fruit Weight in 'Fuji' Apples

안동과 영양지역의 '후지' 사과를 공시하여 과실의 품질요인간 상관성 및 과실의 중량과 저장력의 연관성을 분석하였다. 두 과수원 과실에서 공통으로 보여진 유의적인 상관관계는 역의 상관으로써 과중-경도, 과중-착색도, 과중-Hunter 'b'값 간이었고, 착색도-Hunter 'a'값 및 당함량-산함량 사이에서는 정의 상관성이 나타났다. 과중과 당함량 및 과중과 산함량 간에는 두 과수원에서 모두 상관성이 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 한편 과중과 색택 요인간 상관성은 두 과수원에서 상이하게 나타났는데 안동 지역 사과의 경우 과중-착색도는 유의성은 없으나 역의 상관 계수를, 과중-Hunter 'a'는 유의적인 역의 상관성을 보인 반면, 영양지역 사과에서는 과중-착색도 및 과중-Hunter 'a'값간에 유의적인 정의 상관을 보였다. 과실 경도와 당산 함량의 변화 정도로 판단한 저장력과 과중간에는 뚜렷한 상관성이 보이지 않았다. Relationship of fruit weight with other quality parameters and storablity were evaluated in 'Fuji' apples harvested on a commercial harvest date from two orchards located in 'Andong' and 'Youngyang' area. Inter-correlations among quality parameters were also analyzed. Significant correlations observed in both orchards were; nigative relationships between fruit weight and flesh firmness, surface color and Hunter 'b' value, positive relationship between surface color and Hunter 'a' value, and soluble solid content (SSC) and juice acidity. Correlations between fruit weight and SSC or juice acidity were not significant in both orchards. In Contrast. between the two orchards, opposite correlation coefficients were observed in the combination of fruit weight with surface color. The correlation coefficient was negative, although insignificant, in 'Andong' apples, whereas significantly positive in 'Youngyang' apples. Likewise, fruit weight was negatively correlated with Hunter 'a' value in 'Andong' apples, while positively correlated in 'Youngyang' apples. No clear relationship was observed between fruit weight and storability as estimated by changes in flesh firmness and flavor parameters.
의료 빅데이터 활용을 위한 중개 플랫폼 구축 방법에 대한 연구

The medical industry is undergoing many innovative changes with the introduction of big data technology, and the pace of these changes is expected to continue to increase. Previous approaches to care are responding quickly, and healthcare institutions and businesses need effective access and utilization of medical data to capitalize on new and potentially innovative trends in technology and analysis. Hence, this study aims to present the essential functions and operational direction of a medical big data intermediary platform. The goal is to apply the concept of intermediary platforms, which are utilized in various fields during the data economy era, to the medical big data industry. To achieve this, a survey was conducted among 102 medical companies nationwide to assess the necessity, expected value, essential elements, and future application services of the platform. The results were analyzed and summarized, leading to the proposal of fundamental components and operational plans for the medical big data intermediary platform. Based on the survey findings, this study highlights the need for a medical big data intermediary platform and emphasizes its conceptual importance as a fundamental component. Further research is required to explore the operation of the platform through pilot services based on the concept design in the future.
손등피부 운동 마찰계수 측정기를 이용한 체질 판별 가능성 연구

1. Objectives Our goal is to observe the feasibility of constitution discrimination from computing quantitative roughness index from dynamic friction coefficients and their gradients with the measurement device of skin friction with 3-Axis load cell sensor. 2. Methods In the traditional Korean medicine, skin diagnosis is one of the examination methods to discriminate Sasang constitution since it was known that Tae-eumin has rough skin, and Soyangin has smooth one. It is based on the skin roughness on the back of one's hand for the discrimination. The measurement device of skin friction with 3-axis load cell sensor has been developed in order to provide quantitative skin roughness through dynamic friction coefficients. The effective interval of the coefficients is obtained from the automatic sampling algorithm to use their curvature and slope. Then, Fisher's discriminant function of them makes the discrimination. 3. Results The success rate of extracting the effective interval was about 90% and the discriminant accuracy between Tae-eumin and Soyangin was 70% and 68% for men and women, respectively. The entire methods showed the possibility to distinguish between Tae-eumin and Soyangin by using stochastic properties of roughness index, which can make the entire system to include the measurement, the computation of the roughness index and the discrimination of constitution automatical. 4. Conclusions The measurement device, the automatic sampling algorithm of dynamic friction coefficients and the constitution discrimination algorithm were developed, respectively, and their combination can become the serial and automatic procedure for quantitative and objective skin diagnosis, which mimics the movement of the Oriental medical doctors' skin diagnosis. It can be applied to healthcare as well as the diagnosis of constitution in a u-Health system soon.
