This study was examined for effects of acupuncture of Zusanli (ST36) on the abdominal thermography of health subject. The volunteers who participating in this study had taken rest for 20-30 mins in room temperature (23-$25^{\circ}C$) before the examination and informed them what to prohibit smoking, drinking and administration of drug for the previous day. The thermography of abdomen including a below part of the chest was taken using Infra-Red Imaging System (IR 2000, MEDI-CORE Co, Korea) by time interval of 15 minutes at 15 min before, just before and 15 min after, 30 min after and 45 min after acupuncture stimulation. Acupuncture was applied to the left ST36 acupoint for 30 mins. The results showed that acupuncture of ST36 significantly had more potencies of changes on all the of abdominal thermography than those of control group. Also, it was observed that the quantities of thermal changes following acupuncture of ST36 been increased significantly comparing that of control group at all the ROIs (region of interest). Observed the thermography classified by ROI, however, it was failed that acupuncture of ST36 could modulate the specific areas concerning to the abdominal pathway of Stomach Meridian. These results suggest that acupuncture of ST36 may modulate thermal distributions and changes of abdominal areas including the below of chest.
십이경근(十二經筋)과 근육(筋肉)과의 관계(關係)에 대한 연구

The Oriental Medicine is described with so many terms of its own theory causing misunderstand of the concept which is expressed with same term used in modern medicine. Muscular system is also used in the both medicines, the Oriental Medicine and modern medicine. For the purpose of resolving the misunderstand of using the medical terms, we referred to a large number of literature for the muscular system in both medicine. Although there are few references concerning about systematic components in the Oriental Medicine, among the concepts of the Oriental Medicine, there are comparatively many approaches to the Meridian muscular system, a muscular system related with the Meridian, Therefore, there are many similarities and differences in the interrelation between the muscular system which was stated at the time of the concept of the Meridian system was developed and anatomical muscular system in the modern medicine. As a result of survey the references, we found out that anatomical muscular system is limited to visual compartments, whereas the Meridian muscular system is covering not only visual components but also the relation with internal organs. We conclude that there are conceptual differences in the kyung-keun system in the past and anatomical muscular system in the present.

It is relatively hard to observe the program/erase operation efficiency in the flash memory device fabricated on the silicon-on-insulator (SOI), since sal MOSFET devices have the floating bodies. This property is quite different from that of bulk devices where the operation efficiency has relatively stronger dependence on the back substrate bias. In this work, the dependency of operation efficiency of sal memory device on implementation factors such as SOI thickness and channel concentration is investigated with the aid of the numerical device simulation.

A 2-bit recessed channel SONOS memory with vertical split gate structure is characterized through 2-dimensional numerical simulation. With a long effective channel length, this device is immune to the short channel effect [1]. The charge storage nodes are self-lifted from the bottom-side of channel and hence the second-bit effect is effectively suppressed. Furthermore, increased charge injection efficiency is expected because of the split gate structure. Therefore, enhanced programming characteristics with low second-bit effect can be achieved with simpler fabrication processes compared with the fanner methods [2], [3].
