The ACL(Anterior cruciate ligament) is the smallest of the four main ligaments of the knee, but it is the primary stabilizer. Injuries have a tendency to occur when the foot is firmly planted and the knee is twisted. Any sports that requires acceleration, change of direction and deceleration can increase the chances of suffering an ACL tear. The incidence of severe knee sprains that involve the ACL are at an all-time high. Since 1980, the number of these injuries have increased at least three-fold. Although the rate of increase has been much less dramatic since the middle 1980s, even the ultra-modem releasable ski binding has not been able to start reducing the incidence of ACL injuries. An ACL injury prevention program developed for downhill skiers by the Vermont Safety Research group emphasized increasing awareness of situations that can potentially result in an ACL injury and pre-planning strategies if events, leading to these situations, begin to fall in place. As part of the above study by Ettlinger et al., an educational prevent program was developed to teach these principles and thus reduce the rate of serious knee injuries. Four thousand instructors and patrol at 20 ski resorts who received the training had a 62% decline in serious knee injuries compared to a similar group that did not receive this training. Whenever you fall, try not to fully straighten your legs. Don't try to get up until you've stopped sliding(unless you are try to avoid an obstacle or other skier). When you're down, stay down. And don't land on your hand. So, if you feel yourself falling: arms forward, ski plates together, hands over knee. Then you will be able to save your ACL.

Customer relationship management skills seeking to increase profits through an elevation in customer loyalty. Education sites are not structured, and are not able to provide the customers with needed services. As the company-customer relationship is not much different from the education portal site-student relationship, CRM can be utilized in educational environments as well. This paper looked into the CRM theory, and through analyses of CRM-applied commercial sites and well-known education portal sites and school homepages, aims to present which individualized services are needed and how school homepages should be designed for effective student relation management. On the basis of school homepage design, we implemented partly sign-up form, admin's menu, and personalization design.

Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is a relatively common cause of anemia in children and adults with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Although AIHA responds to steroids, in case of refractory or steroid-dependent AIHA, immunosuppressants and intravenous immunoglobulin have been used as second line agents. Rituximab, an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, is emerging in the treatment of SLE refractory to conventional therapy. Herein, we report a case of delayed and sustained remission of refractory hemolytic anemia in a child with SLE, post rituximab treatment. A 12-year-old female child with dizziness was referred to our department and was diagnosed with SLE combined with hemolytic anemia and renal tubular acidosis. Since frequent relapse of hemolytic anemia had occurred during the steroid tapering course, even though she had been treated with additional immunosuppressants (azathioprine, mycophenolate mofetil), the patient received 2 doses of rituximab 500 mg at 2 weeks interval at 18 months post diagnosis. After 15 months of rituximab administration, her anemia and renal tubular acidosis were fully recovered, enough to stop all medications. She remained well without recurrence for up to 3 years and 4 months after rituximab treatment.

보강토 옹벽용 지오그리드의 현장 내시공성 및 강도 감소계수 평가에 관한 연구

최근 국내에서 기존 RC옹벽보다 시공실적이 증가하고 있는 보강토 옹벽은 보강자재, 시공방법, 전면블럭의 형태에 따라 다양하지만 공법에 대한 안전성이 충분히 검증되지 않아 설계와 시공관리에 어려움이 많으며, 보강토 옹벽에 사용되는 보강재 등은 제조사별로 규격과 형상이 다양하고 영세한 업체에서 제작하였거나 일부 값이 싼 품질이 낮은 제품이 수입되고 있지만 이를 설계에 적용할 수 있는 적절한 기준이 제시되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 보강토 옹벽의 보강재인 옹벽용 그리드에 대하여 현장 내시공성 시험을 통해 다양한 형태의 옹벽용 그리드의 내시공성 감소계수를 제안하고, 국내외 연구결과 분석과 국내 시판되고 있는 제조사별로 제시한 옹벽용 그리드의 물성치를 조사 분석하였다. 결론적으로, 뒤채움재의 입경과 모난 정도의 차이, 입도 분포에 따라 감소계수에 미치는 영향이 크므로 일정규모 이상의 현장에서는 현장내시공성 시험을 거쳐 뒤채움재 별로 차별화된 감소계수를 적용하고, 보강벽체의 활용성에 따라 연성과 강성그리드를 잘 선정하여 적용함으로서 효과적으로 보강토 옹벽의 안전성을 높일 수 있음을 확인하였다. Recently the installation of reinforced earth retaining walls in the domestic construction site has increased, surpassing conventional RC walls. These reinforced walls have various types depending on the reinforcing material, installation method and the form of face panel. However, there are difficulties in design and construction management due to the unproved safety of construction method. In case of reinforcing materials, despite the fact that they come in all different sizes and types produced by small businesses or partially imported with cheap price and low quality, no proper standards for designing the walls have been suggested. In order to apply reinforced retaining wall system to broad cases and design the walls effectively considering site conditions, specific design and construction guidelines for efficient construction management are needed. In conclusion, this study verified that reduction factors can be greatly affected by grain sizes and stiffness of backfill materials and granularity range, therefore in case of relatively large construction site, it is required to redesign the reinforced retaining wall by evaluating site installation resistance test, applying respective reduction factors to each backfill material and select the right geogrid depending on the usage of retaining wall so as to enhance the safety of reinforced earth retaining walls with efficiency.

단호박 분말의 첨가량을 달리하여 국수를 제조한 후 물리화학적 및 관능적 품질 특성을 비교하였다. 단호박 분말 첨가량이 증가할수록 국수의 pH, 당도 및 탁도는 유의적으로 증가하는 경향이 나타났다(P<0.05). 부피는 20% 첨가군(52.67mL)이 가장 높았으며 단호박 분말의 첨가량이 많을수록 유의적으로 증가하였으나(P<0.05), 5~15% 첨가군 사이에서 유의적인 차이는 발견되지 않았다(P>0.05). 국수의 함수율은 대조군이 81.47%이며, 20% 첨가군이 53.80%로 단호박 분말 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 유의적으로 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며(P<0.05), 수분결합능력 또한 유의적으로 감소하였다(P<0.05). 국수의 L* 값은 분말의 첨가량이 증가할수록 유의적으로 감소하였고(P<0.05), a* 값은 단계적인 유의적 증가를 보였으며(P<0.05), b* 값은 첨가군이 대조군보다 유의적으로 높았으나 첨가군(5~20%) 내에서 유의적인 차이는 발견되지 않았다(P>0.05). 국수의 전자공여능은 단호박 분말의 첨가량이 증가할수록 유의적으로 증가하였으나(P<0.05), 대조군과 5% 첨가군에서는 유의적인 차이가 발견되지 않았다(P>0.05). 한편 소비자 선호도 검사결과 씹힘성을 제외한 모든 항목에서 10% 첨가군이 다른 시료에 비해 유의적으로 높게 평가되었으며(P<0.05), 따라서 관능적 품질을 유지하면서 단호박 분말의 기능성 효과를 기대하기에 최적 첨가 농도는 10%가 가장 적절할 것으로 판단된다. Sweet pumpkin is a squash fruit that contains low total solids but is rich in carotene, pectin, mineral salts, vitamins, and other substances beneficial to health. An attempt was made to develop a value-added food product; sweet pumpkin powders (SPP) were incorporated into a model system of noodles as a healthy food ingredient, and selected physicochemical properties and consumer preferences were determined. Elevated SPP concentration was associated with increased pH, soluble solids, and turbidity; however, moisture absorption decreased (P<0.05). Increasing amounts of SPP significantly reduced both raw and cooked noodle brightness (L*); however, yellowness (b*) appeared to increase. In addition, 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity increased significantly (P<0.05). The consumer acceptance test indicated that incorporation of 10% SPP to the formulation is recommended to take advantage of the health benefits of SPP without major sacrificing the quality acceptance of consumers.
