After insufficient road facilities are expanded, it is more important to maintain performance of road facilities the time according to passing. When the road facilities are maintained optimally through proper maintenance, the total amount of investment can be minimized and national competitiveness is improved. Individual maintenance research of road facilities such as PMS or BMS was in progress until currently, but it is difficult to joint ownership and share information between systems, and it is impossible to use as the decision-making. Therefore, Asset Management System for road facilities is enforced to solve the inefficiency of existing systems, maintenance the road facilities systematically under the limited budget and get the maximum benefits against the cost from the view point of long-term. In this paper, the concept of Asset Management System explained, and research plan from KICT in order to introduce the Asset Management System of road facilities from 2008 hereafter for 5 years accounted.

There is no overall understanding about the road marking situation in Korean national highway nowadays. In addition road marking increases risk in traffic accidents especially while it`s raining at night because of diffused reflection. So administrator has a lot of problems to maintain and make a decision about the road marking. In this paper, literature review and field investigation about the road marking are carried out from the viewpoint of road safe and the propriety in retroreflective performance of the road marking is grasped. Also, improvement methods about retroreflective performance of the road marking are proposed on the basis of the result in field investigation.

도로포장에서 평탄성에 따른 연료소모량 변화에 대한 분석은 경제성 관점과 함께 온실가스 배출량과 관련된 환경적 관점에서 그 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 포장의 평탄성이 저하되면 연료소모량이 증가하여 차량운행비용이 증가하고, 이산화탄소 배출이 증가하기 때문이다. 따라서 효율적인 도로포장의 관리와 탄소배출량의 관리를 위해서는 평탄성에 따른 주행차량의 연료소모량 변화를 분석할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 도로 평탄성에 따른 국내 승용차의 연료소모량 변화를 정량적으로 계측하여 평탄성이 승용차의 연료소모량 변화에 미치는 영향을 측정하였다. 연료소모량은 연료분사 인젝터의 전압변화를 측정하여 계산하고 속도는 GPS센서를 사용하여 측정하였다. 실험 결과, 국내 승용차의 경우 평탄성이 IRI로 1 m/km 증가하였을 때 약 100 mL/100 km의 비율로 연료소모량이 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. The analysis of fuel consumption due to pavement roughness becomes more important in the economic aspect as well as the environmental aspect related to greenhouse gas emissions. Because vehicle operating costs and carbon dioxide emissions are increased by fuel consumption growth if pavement roughness increases. Therefore, it needs to analyze the change of fuel consumption for vehicles due to roughness in order to maintain pavement and greenhouse gas emissions efficiently. In this study, the amount of fuel consumption due to degree of roughness is measured by using two quantitative values such as voltage signal from fuel injector of vehicle and the speed from GPS. As the results, it was found that the fuel consumption increases with the rate of 100 mL/100 km as IRI increases with rate of 1 m/km.
분자선증착법으로 성장된 AlGaN 에피층의 표면 형상 분석

분자선증착법으로 (0001) 사파이어 기판 위에 $Al_xGa_1-_xN$ 에피층을 AlN 몰비를 변화시키면서 성장시켰다. AlN 몰비는 0.16에서 0.76까지 변화시켰으며 X선의 회절 실험과 Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy 방법을 이용하여 AlN 몰비를 결정하였다. $Al_xGa_1-_xN$ 에피층의 깊이 방향의 조성 변화를 관찰하였으며 스퍼터 시간에 대해 각 원소가 일정한 원자 농도를 가짐을 알 수 있었다. AlN 몰비의 증가에 따른 표면 특성의 변화를 관찰하기 위하여 atomic force microscopy 측정을 수행하였다. 표면에서의 입자 모양이 AlN 몰비가 변화함에 따라 원형에서 침상형태로 변화함을 알 수 있었다. 표면 입자에 대한 root mean square 값과 average roughness 값을 구하였으며 AlN 몰비를 바꿈에 따라 나타나는 변화를 관찰하였다. Structural properties of $Al_xGa_1-_xN$ epilayers grown on (0001) sapphire substrate by plasma induced molecular beam epitaxy are investigated in the range of AlN molar fraction from 0.16 to 0.76. The AlN molar fraction estimated by X-ray diffraction agrees well with that of Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy, showing a good linear relationship. The uniform Auger electron microscopy depth profile and linear dependence of average atomic concentration of all the constituents of AlGaN epilayers on AlN molar fraction imply that the epitaxial growth of $Al_xGa_1-_xN$ layers with variation of AlN molar fraction is well controlled without the compositional fluctuation in depth of the epilayer. It is observed by atomic force microscopy that the surface grain shape of $Al_xGa_1-_xN$ epilayer changes from roundish to coalesced one with increasing AlN molar fraction.
한국인 정신분열병환자에서 MTHFR 유전자의 단일 염기 다형성인 C677T와 A1298C의 연관성 분석

Objectives: Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) plays an important role in folate metabolism, and the C677T and A1298C single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) of the MTHFR gene may be associated with schizophrenia. The relationship between MTHFR SNPs and schizophrenia is unclear in Korean schizophrenic patients. The purpose in this study was to determine the association between the MTHFR gene SNPs and schizophrenia in Korean patients. Methods: Three hundred and sixty six patients with schizophrenia and 359 normal control subjects were used to identify the SNPs. Genetic analysis was carried out in the C677T and A1298C SNP regions using the SNP-IT™ assay. The allele, genotype and haplotype frequencies were compared between the two groups. The subgroups were divided on the basis of the onset age, and the allele frequencies and genotype frequencies were individually compared among the subgroups. Results: Gene variation of the MTHFR C677T and A1298C SNPs did not show significant differences between the schizophrenic patients and controls. In addition, no association between their SNPs and the onset age of schizophrenia was found. Conclusion: A genetic association between the C677T and A1298C SNPs on the MTHFR gene and Korean schizophrenic patients was not found in this study.
종합병원 중정형 병동부의 간호동선에 관한 건축계획적 연구

The purpose of this study is to identify the plan type, nurse moving distance and area of the courtyard ward of the general hospitals. This study first identifies the concept and meaning of the type of the courtyard and courtyard ward. Then, a case hospital with a courtyard ward is selected. And the distance of nursing station to patient room and area from the courtyard ward are analyzed. It was found that the location of the nurse station is the most influenced in the distance between the nurse station to patient room in courtyard ward. So, the location of the nursing station should be considered first in courtyard ward.
