        고지방식이로 비만을 유도한 C57BL/6 마우스에서 SM17의 항산화 및 항비만 효과

        Objectives : Obesity is caused by the excess accumulation of fat in the body due to energy imbalance, and it causes various diseases. The aim of this study was to investigate an anti-obesity efficacy and an antioxidant activity of water from herbal mixture extract (SM17). Methods : The antioxidant activities were evaluated through radical scavenging assays using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (ABTS) radicals. To evaluated anti-obesity effect of SM17, we used a high fat diet fed mouse model. The SM17 (150 mg/kg body weight/day, p.o.) was treated every day for 6 weeks to C57BL/6 mice. Body weight and food intake were measured every day. The changes of reactive oxygen species (ROS), alanine aminotransferanse (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), triglycerids (TG) and total cholesterol (TC) in serum were analyzed after experiment. Also, expression of lipid metabolism related proteins were investigated by western blot analysis. Results : It was effective in antioxidant measurements, SM17 administration inhibited the biomarkers of lipid metaboism in serum and tissues. The administration of SM17 showed a significant reduction of body and tissue weight. Morever, it decreased ROS, ALT, AST, TG and TC in serum, compared with those of the obese mice. Adipogenesis-related protein expressions increased in obese mice compared to normal mice. However, SM17 group exhibited the down-expression of these proteins. Conclusion : A SM17 aqueous extract has a great effect on the stimulation (AMPK) activation, and may have a benefit to reduce a fatty acid metabolism through inhibition of lipid accumulation.

        헤모필루스 인플루엔자 기관염이 확인되면서 진단된 혈관륜 1례

        저자들은 출생 후 호흡기 증상이 지속되어 오던 여아가 respiratory syncytial virus와 b형 헤모필루스 인플루엔자균에 의한 하기도 감염에 이환되면서 생후 4개월에 혈관륜으로 진단된 1예를 보고하는 바이다. 환아는 출생 후 협착음과 천명음 등의 잦은 호흡기 증상을 보였고, 3개월에 호흡 곤란을 주소로 입원하였으며 respiratory syncytial virus에 의한 세기관지염으로 치료받고 호전되었다. 퇴원 후 증상이 다시 악화되어 재입원 하였으며 b형 헤모필루스 인플루엔자균에 의한 기관염 및 폐렴이 확인되었고, 치료를 위해 기관내 튜브에 도관 삽입을 시도하였을 때 하부 기도에서 저항감이 감지되어 기도 부위의 해부학적 기형을 의심하게 되었다. 3차원 흉부 단층 촬영에서 이중 대동맥궁으로 인한 혈관륜이 확인되었고, 교정 수술을 시행한 후 좋은 경과를 보이고 있다. Vascular ring, originating from abnormal regression of the aortic arch during fetal life, can cause prolonged and recurrent respiratory symptoms and dysphagia when the diagnosis is delayed. We report a 4 month old girl with vascular ring, who had been treated for persistent respiratory symptoms including stridor, wheezing, and dyspnea soon after birth. Initially her respiratory symptoms were thought to be due to bronchiolitis, for which respiratory syncytial virus was confirmed by immunofluorescent staining. Her clinical course was again complicated with tracheitis and pneumonia due to Haemophilus influenzae type b. The possibility of anatomical anomaly was investigated when it was felt to be difficult to insert a suction catheter deep down through a endotracheal tube which was placed for adequate ventilatory management. A three-dimensional chest CT revealed a vascular ring consisting of a double aortic arch. For 5 months following surgery, her respiratory symptoms have slowly been improving. She developed another episode of pneumonia which was milder than the one which occurred before the surgery.

        새로운 n형 고분자인 DFPP 기반의 MEH-PPV/DFPP Blend 소자의 광전특성

        Optical characteristics in polymer films of MEH-PPV/DFPP blends were for the first time investigated. DFPP (N, N'-diperfluorophenyl-3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic diimide) used here was a novel n-type polymer, which had good stability in air and solubility in common solvents. For a 1:9 DFPP:MEH-PPV blend, highly efficient quenching of photoluminescence (PL) was observed. In addition, the photocurrent responses of these MEH-PPV/DFPP photovoltaic cells were measured. When the light intensity was $50mW/cm^2$, short-circuit photocurrent densities were two times higher than those of single layer MEH-PPV devices. MEH-PPV/DFPP 혼합물의 고분자 박막에서 광학적 특성들이 최초로 조사되었다. 여기서 사용된 BFPP(N, N'-diperfluorophenyl-3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic diimide)는 새로운 n형 고분자인데 공기 중에서 안정성이 우수하고 일반 용매에서 잘 용해되었다. 1:19 DFPP:MEH-PPV 혼합물의 경우 매우 효율적인 형광소멸이 관측되었다. 더불어 이 MEH-PPV/DFPP 광전 셀의 광전류 응답특성들이 측정되었다. 빛의 세기가 $50mW/cm^2$일 때 단락전류 밀도는 단일 층의 MEH-PPV 소자들보다 2배 이상 되었다.

        신경추적자를 이용한 신맥과 조해에서 투사되는 신경원의 표지부위에 대한 연구

        The purpose of this morphological studies was to investigate the central neural pathway projecting to the acupoints $B_{62}$ and $K_6$ using the neuroanatomical method following injection of transsynaptic neurotropic virus, pseudorabies virus(PRV-Ba and PRV-Ga) into the $B_{62}$ and $K_6$. After survival times of 96 hours following injection into the twenty rats with PRV-Ba(Bartha strain) and PRV-Ga(Bartha strain, ${\beta}$-galacidodase insertion). They were perfused, and their spinal cord and brain were frozen sectioned($30{\mu}m$). These sections were stained by X-gal histochemical and PRV immunohistochemical staining method, and observed with light microscope. The results were as follows : 1. In spinal cord, overlaped PRV-Ba and PRV-Ga labeled neurons projecting to the $B_{62}$ and $K_6$ were founded in thoracic, lumbar and sacral spinal segments. In thoracic spinal segments, Densely labeled areas were founded in lamina IV, V, VII(intermediolateral nucleus) and X areas. In lumbar segemnts, labeled areas were founded in lamina II, IV, V and X areas. In sacral spinal segments, labeled areas were founded in lamina IV, V and VI areas. 2. In brain, overlaped PRV-Ba and PRV-Ga labeled neurons projecting to the $B_{62}$ and $K_6$ were founded in the $A_1$ noradrenalin cells/$C_1$ adrenalin cells/caudoventrolateral reticular nucleus, rostroventrolateral reticular nuclens, nucleus tractus solitarius, area postrema, raphe obscurus nucleus, raphe paltidus nucleus, raphe magnus nucleus, lateral paragigantoceltular nucleus, lateral rcticular nucleus, gigantocellular nucleus, locus coeruleus, subcoeruleus nucleus, motor trigeminal nucleus, Kolliker-Fuse nucleus, $A_5$ cell group, central gray matter, oculomotor nerve, paraventricular hypothalamic nucleus, median eminence, amygdaloid nucleus, frontal cortex, forelimb area, hindlimb area, 1, 2 areas of parietal cortex and granular and agranular cortex. This results were suggest that overlaped PRV-Ba and PRV-Ga labeled areas projecting to the $B_{62}$ and $K_6$ may be related to the emotional relay pathway in the central autonomic center.

        족관절 염좌 환자에 대한 동씨침법(董氏鍼法) 시술시 동기요법(動氣療法) 효과에 대한 연구

        Objectives : The purpose of study is to compare the effects of acupuncture therapy and acupuncture with Dong-Qi therapy for the patients with ankle sprain. Methods : This study has been carried out for 67 cases of ankle sprain patients who have visited Dong-Seo Oriental Medical Hospital from March 30, 2004 to October 12, 2002. 67 patients were randomized into two groups. We have treated 34 cases(sample group) of them by acupuncture therapy and the other 33 cases(control group) by acupuncture with Dong-Qi therapy. We have confirmed VAS 10 degree before treatment and checked VAS after treatment. We have compared those two group. Results & Conclusion : 1. Sample group : The VAS mean is $6.47{\pm}0.24$ after treatment. 2. Control : The VAS mean is $4.3{\pm}0.256$ alter treatment. The conclusion of this study was that The Dong-Qi Acupuncture Therapy is more effective than The Acupuncture Therapy without Dong-Qi for the Patient with Ankle Sprain.

        피로환자에 사암침 치료 효과의 임상연구

        Objectives : This study was performed to evaluate the effect of SAAM acupuncture treatment for patients with fatigue. Methods : The clinical study was carried out with 56 fatigue patients who had visited the Fatigue Clinic in Dong-Seo Oriental Medical Hospital from April 2007 to September 2007. Patients were randomly assigned to two groups : SAAM acupuncture treatment group or control group. The acupuncture points used in the SAAM acupuncture treatment group were $LU_8$, $SP_3$, $HT_8$, $CV_6$, and $BL_{15}$. Acupuncture points used in the control group were non-acupoints near $LU_8$, $SP_3$, $HT_8$, $CV_6$, and $BL_{15}$. The patient's symptoms were assessed at baseline, after 1 week and after 2 weeks of treatment using theMultidimensional Fatigue Scale(MFS). Results : After 2 weeks, MFS score differences between the SAAM acupuncture treatment group and the control group were statistically significant(p<0.05). Conclusions : The results suggest that SAAM acupuncture treatment can be used to improve symptoms in patients with fatigue.

        좌절된 소속감의 개념분석

        The purpose of this study is conceptual analysis study on the thwarted belongingness, and was based on the conceptual analysis method of Walker & Avant to make clear concept. Thwarted belongingness can be defined by the following attributes: distorted beliefs, insufficient need to belong, a sense of alienation, and insufficient interaction and affection needs. The prerequisites for thwarted belongingness were social isolation, experiences of exclusion or conflict in interpersonal relationships, perfectionist tendencies, and sensitivity to rejection. The consequences occurring as a result of thwarted belongingness were suicidal ideation, decreased happiness and life satisfaction, negative emotions such as anxiety about rejection, depression, shame, loneliness, stress or anger, aggression, hostility and self-criticism, despair, suppression of emotional expression, lethargy, self-exclusion from relationships, and identity confusion. This study is valuable to identify the extent of preventable nursing interventions related to individual mental health and suicidal ideation related to interpersonal relationships, and suggests future tool development and field studies of thwarted belongingness. 본 연구는 좌절된 소속감에 대한 개념분석 연구로 개념의 속성을 확인하고 명확히 정의하기 위해 Walker & Avant의 개념분석 방법을 근거로 하였다. 좌절된 소속감의 속성은 왜곡된 신념, 소속욕구 불충족, 소외감, 상호교류와 애정욕구의 불충족으로 도출되었다. 선행요인은 사회적 고립, 대인관계에서 배제 또는 갈등 경험, 완벽주의적 성향, 거부민감성이며, 결과는 자살생각, 행복 및 삶의 만족 감소와 거부에 대한 불안, 우울, 수치심, 외로움, 스트레스 또는 분노, 공격성, 적대감 같은 부정적 정서 및 자기비난, 절망감, 자포자기, 정서표현 억제, 무기력, 관계에서 스스로 배제, 정체성 혼란이다. 본 연구는 대인관계와 관련된 개인의 정신적 건강 및 자살생각과 관련된 예방 가능한 간호중재의 범위를 파악할 수 있었다는 것에 의의가 있고, 향후 좌절된 소속감을 측정할 수 있는 도구개발 및 현장연구를 통해 본 연구의 속성을 검증해 볼 수 있는 후속 연구를 제언한다.

        Cloud 서버를 포함한 EPC 망에서 WLAN 오프로딩 경로 선택

        There coexist various access network for mobile terminals, such as mobile phones, smart phones, and tablet PC, in mobile and wireless network. In these circumstance, the network traffic overload unexpected causes the service degradation or discontinuity. To solve this problem, we consider a off-loading route selection by a cloud server which monitors traffic volume and selects an appropriate route. With our proposed scheme, it is possible for the EPC network with untrusted WLAN access networks to operate efficiently to a trusted service level. Also, an optimal handover with satisfying service requirements could be achieved by the proposed offload scheme. 스마트 폰, 태블릿 PC와 같은 이동단말기와 다양한 무선통신 기술의 발전으로 차세대 이동통신망은 다양한 액세스 네트워크들이 공존한다. 다양한 네트워크에서의 서비스 연속성 및 네트워크 상황에 따른 서비스 품질 저하, 그리고 EPC 망의 트래픽 과부하 현상은 여전히 문제로 남아있다. 본 논문에서는 EPC 망에서 과부화 되는 트래픽을 클라우드 서버로 분산하여 선택하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방안을 통해 신뢰할 수 없는 WLAN 액세스 네트워크와 EPC 네트워크에서 효율적인 최상의 핸드오버 방안을 제공할 수 있으며 사용자에게는 네트워크 상황에 따른 최적의 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.

        메밀싹 추출물의 항산화 효과 및 유전독성억제 효과

        메밀싹을 건조 후 세절하여 70% 에탄올을 가하여 추출한 추출물과 용매의 극성에 따라 분별분리를 행하여 핵산, 클로로포름, 에틸아세테이트, 부탄올 및 물 분획물로 조제하여 여섯 가지의 추출물 및 분획물을 얻었다. 이들 시료들에 대하여 항산화활성을 측정한 결과 에틸아세테이트 분획물에서 $RC_{50}$ 값이 26.1 ${\mu}g/mL$의 강한 항산화활성을 나타내었다. 염색체 유발 물질인 MNNG(N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitro-soguanidine)를 마우스에 50, 100, 150 그리고 200 mg/kg으로 투여한 경우의 소핵생성은 각각 3.7${\pm}$0.7, 4.3${\pm}$0.6, 12.8${\pm}$0.8 그리고 15.6${\pm}$1.1로써 농도증가에 비례적으로 증가하였으며 대조군에서는 1.4${\pm}$0.5의 소핵생성을 나타내었다. MNNG를 150 mg/kg과 메밀싹 추출물을 각각 10, 20, 40 그리고 80 mg/kg으로 동시에 투여한 경우 각각 23.4, 40.6, 56.3 그리고 73.4%의 소핵생성 억제효과를 나타내었다 . 메밀싹 용매 분획물 실험에서는 핵산, 클로로포름, 에틸 아세테이트, 부탄올 그리고 물 분획물이 시료농도 80 mg/kg의 투여군에서 양성대조군에 비해 각각 64.1, 67.9, 75.8, 74.2 및 63.3%의 소핵생성 억제율을 나타내었다. 따라서 메밀싹은 건강식품으로서의 개발가능성을 가진 매우 유용한 원료임을 알 수 있었고, 추후 이러한 생리활성을 나타내는 부분만을 분리, 정제하여 추가적인 검색 및 활용방안에 대하여 충분한 연구가 이루어져야 한다고 사료된다. This study was carried out to determine the antioxidative and antigenotoxic effects of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) sprout using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical donating method and micronucleus test. Buckwheat sprout were extracted with 70% ethanol and then further fractionated to n-hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate (EtOAc), butanol and water. Among the five fractions, the EtOAc fraction showed the highest electron donating activity ($RC_{50}$ 26.1 ${\mu}g/mL$). The effects of buckwheat sprout extracts on the frequencies of micronucleated polychromatic erythrocytes (MNPCEs) induced by MNNG (N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine) were investigated in the bone marrow. 10, 20, 40 and 80 mg/kg of each extract were administered to animals immediately after injection of MNNG and the exposure time was 36 hrs. Inhibition effects of buckwheat sprout ethanol extract were 23.4%, 40.6%, 56.3% and 73.4%, respectively. When the fraction of hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol and water from 70% ethanol extract were treated with concentration of 80 mg/kg, the suppression rates of the MNPCE were 64.1, 67.9, 75.8, 74.2 and 63.3%, respectively.

      • SSGDBR 레이저 다이오드의 파장변환 특성 해석

        다양한 파장변화 기술중에서 레이져 다이오드의 발전상태에서 교차이득변도(Cross-Gain Modulation)을 이용한 파장변환은 고속의 신호를 매우 간단하고 효율적으로 처리할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 SSGDBR (Superstructure Grating Distributed Bragg Reflector) 레이저 다이오드의 파장변환기로서 특성을 분석하고 광통신 네트웍 모델링을 위한 CAD 도구로서 개선된 시영역 대신호 동적모델(Time-Domain Large-Signal Dynamic Model)의 유용성을 제시하였다. 이 모델을 l용하여 이런 구조의 파장변환 소자는 10Gbps이상 고속데이터를 처리할 수 있고 광대역 파장변환이 가능하다는 것을 확인하였다. 입력 광신호의 세기와 주입되는 전류가 파장변환된 신호의 소광비 등에 미치는 영향 및 Eye Diagram 등을 살펴 보았으며, 기존에 발표된 실험결과들과 매우 유사한 경향을 보임을 관측하였다. Among various wavelength conversion technologies, that using the cross-gain modulation in laser diode makes it possible to deal with the high speed signal quite simply and efficiently. In this paper, presented was the applicability of an improved time-domain large-signal dynamic model as a CAD tool to analyzed the characteristics of SSGDBR(Superstructure Grating Distributed Bragg Reflector) laser diodes used for wavelength converters. Using this model, it was shown that this kind of wavelength converter can provide the widely tunable wavelength conversion of the high speed data above 10 Gbps. We also investigated the effect of input optical power and the bias current on the characteristics of the device such as extinction ration and eye diagram. The modeling results show very similar trend to the experimental reports.
