        항정신병약물 클로자핀이 흰쥐 뇌실로 주입한 인슐린의 반응에 미치는 영향

        Objectives Although antipsychotic drug clozapine has superior efficacy, this is hampered by metabolic side effects such as weight gain and diabetes. Recent studies demonstrate that clozapine induces insulin resistance. However, the identity and location of insulin resistance induced by clozapine has not been clarified. In this study, the effect of clozapine on central insulin response was investigated in rats. Methods Male Sprague-Dawley rats received intraperitoneal injection of clozapine or vehicle, which was followed by intracerebroventricular injection of insulin or its vehicle. The effects of clozapine on insulin-induced changes in blood glucose level and Akt phosphorylation in hypothalamus were investigated. Results Intraperitoneal injection of clozapine (20 mg/kg) increased blood glucose in rats. Intracerebroventricular injection of insulin reduced blood glucose in rats, which was blunted by pretreatment of clozapine. Accompanied with the antagonistic effect of clozapine to central insulin action in terms of blood glucose, clozapine inhibited the insulin-induced phosphorylation of Akt at Ser473 in rat hypothalamus. Conclusion Administration of clozapine inhibited the central insulin-induced changes in blood glucose and Akt phosphorylation in rat hypothalamus. These findings suggest that hypothalamus could be the site of action for the clozapine-induced insulin resistance.

        남산 금-은광산의 유체포유물 및 안정동위원소 연구

        Electrum-sulfide minerals of the Namsan Au-Ag mine were deposited in two stages of quartz and calcite veins that fill fault planes in Mesozoic granitic rocks (230~155 Ma). The K/Ar radiometric dating of hydrothermal sericite indicates that mineralization is early Cretaceous age ($127{\pm}3.0Ma$). Mineralogic, fluid inclusion and sulfur isotopic data show that ore minerals were deposited at temperatures between $340^{\circ}C$ and $200^{\circ}C$ from fluid with salinities of 3 to 6 equiv. wt % NaCl. Evidence of fluid boiling (and $CO_2$ effervescence) indicates a maximum pressures of 100 bars. The formation temperature and $fs_2$, of Au-mineralization from the Namsan mines are mainly $280{\sim}230^{\circ}C$ and $10^{-11}{\sim}10^{-13}$ atm, respectively. Au deposition was likely a result of boiling caused to chemical change (pH, $f_{O2}$, ${\Sigma}_{H_2S{\cdot}{\cdot}}$) of ore-fluids. Sulfur isotope composition of sulfide minerals (${\delta}^{34}S=5.1$ to 8.2‰) are consistent with ${\delta}^{34}S_{{\Sigma}{H2S}}$ value of +6 to +7‰, suggesting an igneous source of sulfur partially mixed with wall-rock sulfur.

        우울장애의 신경생물학적 기전으로서 세포 내 신호전달계의 역할

        Major depressive disorder is characterized by cellular and molecular alterations resulting in the depressive behavioral phenotypes. Preclinical and clinical studies have demonstrated the deficits, including cell atrophy and loss, in limbic and cortical regions of patients with depression, which is restored with antidepressants by reestablishing proper molecular changes. These findings have implicated the involvement of relevant intracellular signaling pathways in the pathogenetic and therapeutic mechanisms of depressive disorders. This review summarizes the current knowledge of the signal transduction mechanisms related to depressive disorders, including cyclic-AMP, mitogen-activated protein kinase, Akt, and protein translation initiation signaling cascades. Understanding molecular components of signaling pathways regulating neurobiology of depressive disorders may provide the novel targets for the development of more efficacious treatment modalities.

      • 화자적응과 군집화를 이용한 화자식별 시스템의 성능 및 속도 향상

        One key factor that hinders the widespread deployment of speaker identification technologies is the requirement of long enrollment utterances to guarantee low error rate during identification. To gain user acceptance of speaker identification technologies, adaptation algorithms that can enroll speakers with short utterances are highly essential. To this end, this paper applies MLLR speaker adaptation for speaker enrollment and compares its performance against other speaker modeling techniques: GMMs and HMM. Also, to speed up the computational procedure of identification, we apply speaker clustering method which uses principal component analysis (PCA) and weighted Euclidean distance as distance measurement. Experimental results show that MLLR adapted modeling method is most effective for short enrollment utterances and that the GMMs performs better when long utterances are available.

        조현병 환자의 언어성 환청과 정신병리의 PANSS 요인들 간의다차원적 관계

        Objectives This study was aimed to examine the multidimensional relationship between auditory verbal hallucinations (AVHs) and Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) factors of psychopathology in the patients with schizophrenia. And we explored the differences between assessments to hallucination by the clinicians and patients. Methods 82 patients with schizophrenia who were assessed by the Hamilton Program for Schizophrenia Voices Questionnaire (HPSVQ), Psychotic Symptom Rating Scale-Auditory Hallucination (PSYRATS-AHS), and the PANSS were recruited. Hwang's five-factor model of PANSS, items and total scores of hallucination scales, Kim's and Haddock's factor models of hallucination were applied to examine the correlations between psychopathology and AVHs. AVH-positive patients was 50 in PANSS-HPSVQ group and 24 in PANSS-PSYRATS-AHS. These two groups were separately analyzed. Results Among the five factors of the PANSS, negative and depression/anxiety factors were correlated with the total scores of HPSVQ and PSYRATS-AHS, and positive and autistic preoccupation factors were correlated only with the total score of PSYRATS-AHS. The activation factor was correlated with none of the total scores of HPSVQ/PSYRATS-AHS. These correlation patterns of a total score of HPSVQ/PSYRATS-AHS were same in the emotional factor of HPSVQ and physical factor of PSYRATS-AHS respectively. In the items which showed significant correlations, correlation coefficients of PANSS-PSYRATS-AHS group ranged between 0.406-0.755 and those of PANSS-HPSVQ ranged between 0.283-0.420. Conclusions This study suggested that the psychopathological domains of schizophrenia were differentially correlated with AVHs and the assessment of AVHs by clinicians and patients showed substantial differences which should be integrated into the therapeutic interventions.

        국토해양부 표준발파패턴의 셰일암반 적용성에 관한 사례 연구

        우리나라는 산악지역이 70%이산 분포되어 있는 지형적 특성으로 인하여 굴착작업 시 발파작업은 필수사항으로 되어있으며, 발파작업이 이루어지는 곳에는 발파진동·소음으로 인한 민원이 부수적으로 발생하고 있다. 발파작업을 위해 경제성과 안정성, 시공성에 따라 발파패턴이 선정되어진다. 하지만 민원의 해결을 위한 공법의 무절제한 변경 등이 이루어지고 있는 일들이 발생되는 경우가 빈번하여 이를 방지하기 위해 국토해양부는 설계 및 시공에 대한 표준발파공법을 제시하였다. 그러나 국토해양부표준발파공법(2006년)은 암종에 상관없이 일괄적인 발파패턴으로 설계되어 있으므로 셰일암반 등과 같이 낮은 강도의 암반, 절리가 많이 포함되어 있는 암반에 적용 한다고 할 때에 이들 암반의 특성이 고려되지 않은 상태에서 일괄적인 장약량 등의 발파제원에 따라서 경제적인 손실이 생길 수 있다고 생각되어진다. 따라서 이와 같은 셰일 및 응회암반에서 현지암반의 특성을 고려하여 공간격과 저항선의 길이를 조정한 발파제원을 적용하여 시험발파를 수행 하여 어느 정도의 경제성증대 가능성의 결과를 도출하였다. 이를 시작으로 좀더 많은 사례를 통한 정량적 결과를 도출하여 설계 및 시공에 적용한다면 경제성 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것이라 사료되어진다. Blasting is necessary for excavation processes since more than 70% of korean land is consist of mountains. The vibration and noise accompanied by blasting processes usually bring about public complaints. Blasting patterns are chosen by economical efficiency, stability and construction conveniency. However, there are many alternatives without control to settle the popular complaint. To prevent those alternatives, standard blasting method for design and construction were suggested by MLTM (Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs) in 2006. However, standard blasting pattern of MLTM was designed in a lump irrespective of types of rocks. Economical loss may occur by ignoring the characteristics of rocks for the applications to the rocks with low intensity, such as shale, or containing many joint. We deduced some economical progresses by performing test blasting with adjusted drilling spacing and length of burden considering the characteristics of local rock. This paper suggests the start of case studies for different applications. Economic improvement can be expected by applying those results deduced from case studies to design and construction.

        피부근염 환자에서 발생한 미만성 폐포 출혈 1예

        Dermatomyositis is a inflammatory myopathy associated with interstitial lung disease in 5∼10% of cases. The occurrence of diffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH) is considered exceptional in the course of dermatomyositis. We experienced a case of DAH in a 58-year-old female with dermatomyositis. DAH was diagnosed by anemia, infiltration on chest X-ray and computed tomography, and a bloody aspirate on bronchoscopy. Combined Pneumocystis jiroveci (PJP) pneumonia was suspected, as the polymerase chain reaction for PJP was positive. After intravenous the administration of immunoglobulin and treatment for the PJP, she markedly improved but subsequently developed nosocomial pneumonia and died.

        Six 시그마를 이용한 연료전지 촉매구조의 최적화

        연료전지에 사용되는 백금촉매 제조 공정상의 변수로서 환원제를 사용 하였다. 환원조절 횟수, 환원온도, 환원제의 양 그리고 공정시간의 네 가지의 제어인자에 변화를 주어 입자의 크기와 ICP 수율 등의 촉매구조에 관한 최적화의 평가를 위해 six sigma의 design of experiment 기법을 사용하여 각각의 변수간의 최적점을 확인해 보았다. 부분요인배치를 통해 입자크기 2.2㎚ 이하와 ICP수율 75% 이상의 촉매제조를 위하여 도출된 결과로서 주된 제어인자는 환원 시간과 환원 온도로서 밝혀졌고 각 변수의 최적 조건으로서는 환원조절횟수 1회, 환원온도 67-88℃, 환원제의 양 0.5㎖ 그리고 10분의 공정시간에서 최적화가 이루어졌다. Reducing agent was used as process variable for Pt catalyst production process. By using six sigma the optimum operating variables condition for particle size and ICP yield were deduced. With the help of fractional factorial design the major variables were reduction temperature and process time. Also, the optimum number of reduction process, reduction temperature, quantity of reducing agent and process time were 1, 67-88℃, 0.5 ㎖ and 10minutes, respectively.
