Purpose: Despite the similar lymph node metastasis observed in patients with advanced colorectal cancer (CRC), there was a different clinical outcome. The relationships between tumor-related gene expression and prognostic factors such as tumor budding, tumor nodule and extracapsular extension (ECE) of lymph nodes in patients with CRC remain unclear yet. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between expression of molecular markers such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), epidermal growth factor (EGF), matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and E-cadherin and the tumor budding, tumor nodule and ECE of lymph nodes in patients with stage III CRC. Methods: The tissue of 87 patients with stage III CRC were investigated for expressions of molecular markers using immunohistochemical methods. Results: VEGF and MMP-9 expression in tumor tissue were positively associated with the colorectal cancer prognostic factors such as tumor budding, tumor nodule and extracapsular lymph node extension (P<0.05). But, MMP-2, EGF and Ecadherin expression were of no value with regard to them. Conclusion: Our results suggest that molecular markers, in particular VEGF and MMP-9, may provide additional prognostic information regarding tumor budding, ECE and tumor nodule.

The rare cause of lower gastrointestinal bleeding is angiodysplasia. Angiolysplasia is most common in the right colon, but it can be found throughout the whole gastrointestinal tract. The main lesion of angiodysplasia is located at the submucosal layer. So, it is sometimes very difficult to search for the focus of bleeding via laparotomy or colonoscopy. We recently experienced a case of rectal arteriovenous malformation that was misdiagnosed as intussusception. A 57-year-old man visited the emergency room because of abrupt anal bleeding and low abdominal pain, and this was the third episode he’d experienced during the past 20 years. Sigmoidoscopy and abdominal CT revealed that his rectum was obstructed with a dark black colotuberant mass, which was suggestive of ischemic intussusception. We performed emergency laparotomy and we found an extremely swollen rectum with surrounding hematoma instead of intussusception. We performed low anterior resection and colo-anal anastomosis with ileostomy. The final pathologic diagnosis showed that the protuberant mass was a hematoma in the submucosal layer, and this developed by bleeding from an arteriovenous malformation in the rectum.
모션 그래픽을 활용한 옥외 광고 영상 커뮤니케이션 연구

본 논문은 현대 도심 속 옥외 광고 표현의 모션 그래픽 활용에 대한 고찰로, 과거 19세기 도시의 형성과정에서의 도시를 지각하는 방식과 사회 경제적 차원의 시각 문화적 담론을 통해 고찰하였고, 이는 현재 도심 속 옥외 광고 매체의 현황과 그에 따른 테크놀러지 발달 현황 그리고 옥외 광고에 잠입된 모션그래픽 영상장치의 시각적 시스템의 특성 및 시각 커뮤니케이션 측면에서 중점 기술하고 이를 서술 분석하고 있다. 특히, 이에 따른 결과에 힘입어 상업 문화 복합공간인 서울 강남역 주변의 SK 텔레콤 광고와 CGV 사인 간판의 모션 그래픽 활용에 대한 대상 분석과 효용성 분석을 통해 모션 그래픽 환경 및 콘텐츠의 활용적 제반 사항을 분석 고찰하였다. 결론인 즉, 모션그래픽은 관련 매체 기술 속에서 감성 촉진의 진원지라는 점 그리고, 창조적 디자인 맥락에서의 발전 가능성 등 인간 삶의 문화적 양식을 재생하며 진행해 나갈 것이라는 점이다. This Paper is a study of the use of motion graphics in outdoor advertising in modern downtown. This study was carried our through the way of perceiving cities in the process that cities were made in 19th century and through cultural discussions at the socioeconomic level. It described and analyzed the current status of the development of relevant technologies, the features of visual systems of motion graphics image devices used in outdoor advertising and visual communication Based on this examination, it analyzed motion graphics used in the advertisement of SK Telecom and in the signboard of CGV near Gangnam Station, and further, it analyzed their efficiency. Through this analysis, it examined the environment of motion graphics and the general of contents use. The conclusion of this study is that motion graphics are the origin of emotional promotion in the relevant media technology. They will be developed within the context of creative design and they will reproduce the cultural modes of human life.
애너글리프(Anaglyph)를 이용한 3차원 입체영상 제작 사례에 대한 분석

본 논문은 디지털 영상매체의 발달함에 따라 주목받고 있는 3차원 입체영상 제작방법에 있어서 가장 먼저 개발되어진 애너글리프 방식을 이용하여 마야 프로그램에서 제작되어진 3D 입체영상 애니메이션 '이그드라씰'을 분석하였다. 이 작품에서 사용한 애너글리프 방식은 3D 입체영상을 비교적 쉽게 제작할 수 있으며 색상의 차이를 이용하여 분리된 영상을 통해 입체감을 효과적으로 표현할 수 있었다. 또한 시지각 이론을 적용한 공간연출은 작품에서의 필요한 거리감과 깊이감 그리고 속도감을 표현하는데 효과적 이였다. The study analyzes how to create stereoscopic image in 3-dimension animation 'Yggdrasil', produced in Autodesk Maya(3D animation software), using Anaglyph method that is the oldest in 3-dimension stereoscopic video production. The anaglyph method help to produce stereoscopic images easily and to give effective 3D effect encoding each eye's image using filters of different colors. In addition, space direction applied visual perception theory expresses necessary distance, depth and speed effectively in 'Yggdrasil'
