통신 시장의 경쟁 심화, 급속한 기술 발전은 All-IP 기반의 공통 인프라와 다양한 고품질 융합 서비스의 환경으로 패러다임을 변화시키고 있으며, 이러한 변화에 따라 IP 서비스에 대한 과금 체계 또한 진화하고 있다. 본 고에서는 그 중요성이 증대하고 있는IP 서비스의 과금 시스템에 대하여 개념과 기술 동향, 관련 표준화 활동을 살펴보고, 차세대 네트워크(BcN)를 대비한 과금 정책에 대하여 기술한다. 그리고 이와 같은 기술동향 및 과금 정책을 효과적으로 구현하기 위해 ETRI에서 개발중인 고속회선용 정밀과금 시스템을 소개한다.

Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) is the most common gastrointestinal emergency in the neonatal population. The aim of this study is to evaluate surgical indication and prognostic factors of NEC. Clinical data of seventy patients, diagnosed as NEC between January 2000 & January 2007, were reviewed retrospectively. Fifty-seven patients had medical treatment and 7 of them died. Thirteen patients who presented with pneumoperitoneum on plain abdominal film or were refractory to medical treatment received surgical treatment, and 5 of them died. All the expired 12 patients weighed less than 2500 g. Twenty out of seventy patients showed thrombocytopenia, and 11 patients of them died. The finding of pneumoperitoneum and thrombocytopenia could be the most important surgical indication. Prematurity, low birth weight and thrombocytopenia were related to a bad prognosis. NEC patients who presents with these findings must be considered for close observation and intensive care.

Objectives : The aim of this study is to report the effect of herbal medicine and acupuncture on a breastfeeding woman's postpartum urticaria which was unresponsive to a 1st generation antihistamine and a topical steroid. Methods : Wheals and pruritus occurred to a 36-year-old breastfeeding woman 2 days after the parturition. Symptoms were unresponsive to about a week of systemic antihistamine and topical steroid treatments. GamiSamul-tang herbal decoction was administered three times a day for the first 21 days and twice a day for the next 10 days of the treatment. Acupuncture treatment was applied to 12 acupoints (both sides of LI04, LR03, ST36, LI11, SP10, SP6) for 15 minutes once a week, 5 times in total. The patient's symptom was evaluated with Weekly Urticaria Activity Scale (UAS7) and Visual Analogue Scale for Worst Pruritus within 24 hours ($VAS_{Pruritus}$) each time the patient visited out-patient department. Results : The scores of UAS7 and $VAS_{Pruritus}$ at the baseline were 38 and 8.2 respectively. 10 days after the herbal medicine and acupuncture treatment began, both decreased to 0 and wheal, pruritus, erythema didn't appeared again for the rest of the follow up periods. Conclusions : This study shows the possibility of using GamiSamul-tang and acupuncture to treat postpartum urticaria.
적층형 태양전지를 위한 비정질실리콘계 산화막 박막태양전지의 광흡수층 및 반사체 성능 향상 기술

Highly photosensitive and wide bandgap amorphous silicon oxide (a-$SiO_x$:H) films were developed at low temperature ranges ($100{\sim}150^{\circ}C$) with employing plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition by optimizing $H_2/SiH_4$ gas ratio and $CO_2$ flow. Photosensitivity more than $10^5$ and wide bandgap (1.81~1.85 eV) properties were used for making the a-$SiO_x$:H thin film solar cells, which exhibited a high open circuit voltage of 0.987 V at the substrate temperature of $100^{\circ}C$. In addition, a power conversion efficiency of 6.87% for the cell could be improved up to 7.77% by employing a new n-type nc-$SiO_x$:H/ZnO:Al/Ag triple back-reflector that offers better short circuit currents in the thin film photovoltaic devices.

The purpose of this study was to extract accurate parameters of facial movement features using 3-D motion capture system in speech recognition technology through lip-reading. Instead of using the features obtained through traditional camera image, the 3-D motion system was used to obtain quantitative data for actual facial movements, and to analyze 11 variables that exhibit particular patterns such as nose, lip, jaw and cheek movements in monosyllable vocalizations. Fourteen subjects, all in 20s of age, were asked to vocalize 11 types of Korean vowel monosyllables for three times with 36 reflective markers on their faces. The obtained facial movement data were then calculated into 11 parameters and presented as patterns for each monosyllable vocalization. The parameter patterns were performed through learning and recognizing process for each monosyllable with speech recognition algorithms with Hidden Markov Model (HMM) and Viterbi algorithm. The accuracy rate of 11 monosyllables recognition was 97.2%, which suggests the possibility of voice recognition of Korean language through quantitative facial movement analysis.

Recently, face recognition is widely used in IoT device. However deep learning technology, which requires a lot of computing power and memory resource, is not suitable for edge computing device. We propose face recognition system based on lightweight edge computing with feature extraction to overcome limited hardware resource. We have demonstrated that the proposed system shows 95% test accuracy with only 16 input features and the number of activated neuron is suitable for our light weight artificial intelligence engine.
고성능 박막태양전지를 위한 유리 기판 및 산화 아연 투명 전극의 2중 구조 표면 조직화 공정 연구

We studied surface texture-etching of glass substrate by using reactive ion etching process with various working pressure (0.7~9.0 mT). With the increase in the pressure, a haze parameter, which means diffusive transmittance/total transmittance, was increased in overall wavelength regions, as measured by spectrophotometer. Also, atomic force microscopy (AFM) study also showed that the surface topography transformed from V-shaped, keen surface to U-shaped, flattened surface, which is beneficial for nanocrystalline silicon semiconductor growth with suppressing defective crack formation. The texture-etched ZnO:Al combined with textured glass exhibited pronounced haze properties that showed 60~90 % in overall spectral wavelength regions. This promising optical properties of double textured, transparent conducting substrate can be widely applied in silicon thin film photovoltaics and other optoelectronic devices.
