        본 연구는 총 기대비용 최소화기법에 의한 실용적이고 현실적인 해석모형을 제시하는데에 그 목적이 있으며, 주요목적중에 하나로서 철근콘크리트교량의 현장시험과 조사결과에 의해 도출된 저항계수(RF)라는 평가항목에 의해 현재 철근콘크리트부재들에 안전한 평가와 내하력을 결정하는데에 있다. 총기대비용최소화기법은 가정된 모델들의 신뢰성해석에 사용되며, 가정한 신뢰성모델과 신뢰성해석방법은 철근콘크리트부재들의 안전한 평가와 시스템계수에 적용되어진다. This study is to propose a practical and realistic reliability analysis by ETCM(Expected Total Cost Minimization). One of the main objectives is intended to propose the safety assessment and capacity rating of existing reinforced concrete members by evaluation index, that is RF(Rating Factor) from the results of the field test and inspection for reinforced concrete bridge. ETCM method is used for the reliability analysis of the proposed models. The proposed reliability model and method are applied to the safety assessment and system factors of reinforced concrete members.

      • 鐵筋콘크리트 T桁橋 上部構造의 信賴性 最適化에 관한 硏究

        This study is directed for the reliability based optimum design of R. C. T-beam bridges. Reliability optimization models are developed by using both clasical reliability theory and Practical reliability based design criteria proposed by Ellingwood. Each reliability optimizaton model is formulated as a nonlinear programming problem. In the classical formulation, the reliability constraints with side limit constraints are included as the design constraints, whereas in the practical formulation, Ellingwood's LRFD criteria and ACI code requirements constitute the design constraints. Objective functions for the nonlinear programming problems are obtained by incorporating the costs of steel, concrete and form works which are usually considered as the prime cost factors of R. C. structures. The optimization for both formulations is achieved by using Lagrange multiplier method. Thus, two general optimization formulas for the optimum proportioning of T-beam sections are derived and the allgorithms for the automatic optimum design of the T-beam superstructures are also presented.

        The safety and serviceability are two major requirements that all structures must satisfy. This safety of structures must be determined to adequately resist the applied loads. The conventional design method is based on the deterministic approach in which the loads and resistances are evaluated deterministically. This study is the proper probability based design criteria(Optimum load and resistence factor design formats)has been developed based on the safety levels observed from calibration with existing standards, which applies to the ultimate limit ststes of steel compression member.

        Supporting Details in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese L2 Learners’ Argumentative Writing

        This study compares L2 micro-level rhetoric of supporting detail in argumentativewriting produced by learners from three East Asian countries. In order to answer theresearch question, three hundred TOEFL writing samples, one hundred from eachcountry, were analyzed. In the overall use of supporting detail, the Korean andChinese writers used Mentioning Advantage (MA) to the highest degree, while theJapanese writers used more Personal Experience (PE). Differences are also foundbetween the three countries in the use of supporting detail sub-categories. TheJapanese writers preferred the use of personal expressions, accounting forapproximately a half of their supporting details, combining Personal Preference(PP) and Personal Experience (PE). A significant number of Korean and Chinesewriters relied on Citation (CIT) and Anecdote (ANC) compared to the Japanesewriters; the Korean writers were found to favor the use of objective facts, in that theyused research data to support their main ideas, while the Chinese writers showed agreater dependence on traditional expressions such as proverbs. Although CommonKnowledge and Truth (CKT) is rarely used by the East Asian writers in this study,the Korean writers displayed a tendency to present it to a greater extent than writersin the other two countries.

        고려개발(주)E-construction 사례와 향후 추진현황소개

        요즘 매스컴에서 건설회사 도산 및 부실 등에 대한 보도가 많아지고 있다. 98년 말부터 우려해 오던 건설산업 구조조정이 한창 진행 중에 있으며, 2000년 7월말 현재 100대 건설사중 37개사가 법정관리, 화의, 워크아웃 상태이며, 이후 대형건설업체의 계속되는 부도 등 부실화로 인한 퇴출이 더욱 가속되고 있는 상황이다. 이렇게 건설 회사들이 부실화가 된 원인을 살펴보면, 공사 발주물량은 97년 대비 70{\%}대에 머물고 있는 반면 건설업체 수는 오히려 $60{\%} 정도 증가해 업체별 평균 수주액이 급감하였고, 이에 따라 업체들의 과당 출혈 경쟁으로 수익성이 악화되고 말았다. 그러나 이러한 건설업의 어려운 환경에서도 고려개발(주)는 2000년 당기순이익 176억원 등 ‘89년 이후 12년 동안 순익을 내고 있으며, IMF가 한창이던 98년부터 2000년까지 약 1조2천억원의 수주고를 달성하였다. 또한 2000년 부채비율 $146{\%}$, 자기자본비율 $41{\%}$, 자기자본순이익율 $14{\%}$로 선진건설업체 수준의 재무비율을 확보하여 경영평가 1위를 차지하고 있다. 이러한 원인을 고려개발(주)는 건설산업의 구조조정에서 살아남을 수 있는 해결책은 정보화라고 판단하여 지난 ’95년부터 꾸준히 사내 정보화 정착에 전력하고 있다.

        Lipid-Emulsion Propofol Less Attenuates the Regulation of Body Temperature than Micro-Emulsion Propofol or Sevoflurane in the Elderly

        Purpose: Anesthesia and surgery commonly cause hypothermia, and this caused by a combination of anesthetic-induced impairment of thermoregulatory control, a cold operation room environment and other factors that promote heat loss. All the general anesthetics markedly impair normal autonomic thermoregulatory control. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of two different types of propofol versus inhalation anesthetic on the body temperature. Materials and Methods: In this randomized controlled study, 36 patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic gastrectomy were allocated into three groups; group S (sevoflurane, n=12), group L (lipid-emulsion propofol, n=12) and group M (micro-emulsion propofol, n=12). Anesthesia was maintained with typical doses of the study drugs and all the groups received continuous remifentanil infusion. The body temperature was continuously monitored after the induction of general anesthesia until the end of surgery. Results:The body temperature was decreased in all the groups. The temperature gradient of each group (group S, group L and group M) at 180 minutes from induction of anesthesia was 2.5±0.6°C, 1.6±0.5°C and 2.3±0.6°C, respectively. The body temperature of group L was significantly higher than that of group S and group M at 30 minutes and 75 minute after induction of anesthesia, respectively. There were no temperature differences between group S and group M. Conclusion: The body temperature is maintained at a higher level in elderly patients anesthetized with lipid-emulsion propofol.
