        IMF에 관련된 경제적 스트레스가 정신 건강에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 IMF에 관련된 경제적 스트레스가 정신 건강에 미치는 영향과 그 과정을 밝히기 위해 설계되었다. 스트레스 과정에 관여하는 요인으로 사회적 지지와 문제 해결 양식, 그리고 무망감을 도입했으며, 이들에 의해 스트레스의 영향이 매개되는지를 검증하였다. 경제적 스트레스의 수준에 따라 표집된 221명의 일반인들을 대상으로 우울, 불안, 신체화, 적대감, 사회적 지지, 그리고 문제 해결 양식 등을 측정하였다. 가정한 대로 실직으로 대표되는 경제적 스트레스는 정신 건강에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그 구체적인 양상을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 사회적 지지는, 높은 스트레스 조건에서 증상의 발현을 억제하는 완충 효과가 있음이 입증되었다. 두번째로, 남성이 여성에 비해 경제적 스트레스의 부정적 영향에 더 취약한 것으로 나타났다. 세번째, 경제적 스트레스는 문제 해결 양식의 다양한 구성요소중 문제 해결에 대한 무기력감에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 네번째, 무망감은 경제적 스트레스와 정신 건강간의 관계를 매개하는 변인임이 인과모형 검증을 통해 확인되었다. 끝으로, 이러한 결과가 스트레스 개입 프로그램 개발을 위한 이론적 기초를 제공한다는 의의가 있음을 논의 했고, 본 연구의 몇 가지 한계점을 지적하였다. This study was designed to investigate the influence of the so-called IMF-related economic stress upon the mental health and to analyze the process of the influence. As the possible variables moderating the stress process, social resource, problem solving style, and hopelessness were included. 221 male and female subjects were recruited according to the intensity of economic stress and classified into four groups(employees of solid companies, employees of the companies at risk, short-term unemployed and long-term unemployed). Relevant measures including economic stress scale, selected SCL-90R subscales(somatization, depression, hostility, anxiety), social support scale, problem-solving scale, and job hopelessness scale were administered. As assumed, it was proved that economic stress had adverse effects on the mental health. In addition to this basic causal relationship, moderating effects of several variables were found as follows: First, social support had the buffering effect upon the economic stress. That is, strong social support played the role suppressing the development of psychiatric symptoms under high stress. Second, men were more vulnerable to the adverse effects of economic stresses than women. Third, economic stresses had influence on the helplessness concerning the problem solving. However other problem solving strategies such as creative style, approach style, avoidance style, etc were proven to have no relationship with the economic stress. Fourth, in the analysis of unemployed group, it was found that hopelessness mediates the relationship between economic stress and mental health. In conclusion, the clinical implications of such findings in economic stress process were discussed and several limitations and the suggestions for future researches were also addressed.

        This study is to represent basic data of biomechanical work of human body which has been data measured precisely and is to see on pathology and abnormal gaits patterns. And 5, 6th grade boys in Taejon city were attended in this experiment. Each student wore 8 landmarks on their lower leg joints and walked for 4 Km/h, 5 Km/h, and 6 Km/h on the treadmill Mechanical energy of lower extremity segment by lower joint (thigh and shank) movement were measured in stance phase and swing phase which were assessed internal work and energy of segment The conclusions were as following; 1. Increasing gait velocity cause toe off in early stage and swing of lower extremity happen early and quickly with angle of shank increasing in swing phase. 2. Children gait velocity grow rapidly above 5km/h, internal work of thigh mechanical energy showed value of work clearly and large. and internal work change represent greater in shank than in thigh 3. The stance period of gait is the period off set by two operated cocontracting muscles, and the later the speed of gait is, the lower the effect of the net torque.

      • 크레아틴 로딩이 지구운동 및 스프린트 파워발휘에 미치는 효과

        A study was conducted on the effect f creatine loading on persistent exercise and outcome in sprint which was performed immediately after such exercise and subjects of this study were 12 cycle load athletes. Persistent exercise for the purpose of experiment was carried out for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Then it was continued until the condition of tiredness and exhaustion was reaching with showing density of lactate in blood of 4mmol/ℓand then immediately thereafter for 10 seconds 5 sets maximum sprint were carried out. The subject athletes carried out C Performance which featured absorption of placebo liquid during the exercise involving creatine loading prior to experiment exercise, CC Performance featuring absorption of creatine liquid during the exercise involving creatine loading and P Performance featuring absorption of placebo liquid during the exercise without creatine loading-thus totally 3 Performances were carried out. Comparing with P Performance C Performance showed significant improvement in all the 5 sets in terms of peak power and average power for maximum sprint. On the other hand in CC Performance it was same as P Performance. Creatine loading and creatine absorption liquid did not have any effect on duration of persisting exercise until reaching to fatigue and exhaustion. From the result of this study it could be observed that creatine loading improved maximum sprint ability within a short period of time after persistent exercise leading to fatigue and exhaustion However such effect declined when creatine liquid was absorbed during the exercise.

      • 혈청 Fructosamine에 대한 임상적 유용성에 관한 연구

        Diabetes mellitus is a universal health problem and may occur at any age. The traditional biochemical measurements for initially detection patients with diabetes mellitus are random estimations of blood and urine glucose concentrations. Despite their common use both tests are fairly non-specific, being influenced by wide variety of condition. Measurement of the HbA_(1c) in a random blood specimen is a more simple screening test for diabetes, and widely used as an index of diabetic control. But unfortunately, it has difficulties with methodology. Fructosamine has been described as a new parameter for the estimation of glycosylated protein, It is based on the reduction potential of ketoamines in an alkaline medium and measures colorimethcally the concentration of all glycosylated semm proteins belonging to the class of fructosamine. It reflects the time-integrated glucose concentration over the previous 1 to 3 weeks and can be used for the follow up of diabetes mellitus. We measured serum fructosamine concentration and compared with any other items. The results are summehzed as follows : 1. Within-run and between-run imprecision were assessed by 20 analysis of 3 differential fructosamine concentration in control sera. The respective coefficients of variation were 2.9%, 6.6% in low concentration, 2.2%, 5.1% in medium concentration and 3.3%, 4.7% in high concentration. 2. The serum fructosamine concentration were 2.26±0.21 mmol/L in normal control subjects(n=29) and 3.35±0.65 mmol/L (n=62) in patients with diabetes mellitus (p<0.001). 3. In diabetic patients (n=62), the serum fructosamine concentrations correlated less significantly with glucose (Y(fructosamine) = 0.01×(glucose)+2.52, r=0.54, P<0.001) and more significantly with HbA_(1c) (Y(fructosamine) = 0.22×(HbA_(1c))+1.71 , r=0.63, P<0.001). 4. The concentrations of fructosamine in serum and EDTA plasma were not significently diferent (P<0.01). So, Plasma is as well suited to fructosamine determinations as serum(Y(serum) = 0.95×(Plasma)+0.25, r=0.96). 5. No interference was observed with lipemic sera (cholesterol) in detection of serum fructosamine(P=0.393).

        임신 7 개월 이후 임산부 보행의 역학적 분석

        The purpose of this study was analyzed the effect of kinematical and kinetical factors of lower extremity of form change in the cause of growth an unborn child during in pregnancy. Three pregnant women were selected from pregnant 24 weeks as subjects. Each subjects were required to walk with usual walking speed. Cinematographic and GRF data were collected during walking, and the kinematical and kinetical variables were calculated using Kwon3d. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn : 1. Step width and Step length Step width according to the period of pregnancy was gradually small but step length was gadually great. 2. Angle of lower extremity The angle of hip, knee and ankle was differed pregnancy on 9 month and other time. 3. Ground reaction force In the three part of ground reaction force, pregnancy on 9 month was most greater than other time.

      • Kyungheechunggan-Tang-01, a New Herbal Medication, Suppresses LPS-Induced Inflammatory Responses through JAK/STAT Signaling Pathway in RAW 264.7 Macrophages

        <P>Medicinal plants have been used as alternative therapeutic tools to alleviate inflammatory diseases. The objective of this study was to evaluate anti-inflammatory properties of Kyungheechunggan-tang- (KCT-) 01, KCT-02, and Injinchunggan-tang (IJCGT) as newly developed decoctions containing 3–11 herbs in LPS-induced macrophages. KCT-01 showed the most potent inhibitory effects on LPS-induced NO, PGE<SUB>2</SUB>, TNF-<I>α</I>, and IL-6 production among those three herbal formulas. In addition, KCT-01 significantly inhibited LPS-induced iNOS and COX-2 at protein levels and expression of iNOS, COX-2, TNF-<I>α</I>, and IL-6 at mRNA levels. Molecular data revealed that KCT-01 attenuated the activation of JAK/STAT signaling cascade without affecting NF-<I>κ</I>B or AP-1 activation. In ear inflammation induced by croton oil, KCT-01 significantly reduced edema, MPO activity, expression levels of iNOS and COX-2, and STAT3 phosphorylation in ear tissues. Taken together, our findings suggest that KCT-01 can downregulate the expression of proinflammatory genes by inhibiting JAK/STAT signaling pathway under inflammatory conditions. This study provides useful data for further exploration and application of KCT-01 as a potential anti-inflammatory medicine. </P>

        Cellular Inhibitor of Apoptosis Protein 1 (cIAP1) Stability Contributes to YM155 Resistance in Human Gastric Cancer Cells

        <P>YM155, which blocks the expression of survivin, a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) family, induces cell death in a variety of cancer types, including prostate, bladder, breast, leukemia, and non-small lung cancer. However, the mechanism underlying gastric cancer susceptibility and resistance to YM155 is yet to be specified. Here, we demonstrate that cIAP1 stability dictates resistance to YM155 in human gastric cancer cells. Treatment of human gastric cancer cells with YM155 differentially induced cell death dependent on the stability of cIAP1 as well as survivin. Transfection with cIAP1 expression plasmids decreased cell sensitivity to YM155, whereas knockdown of endogenous cIAP1 using RNA interference enhanced sensitivity to YM155. In addition, double knockdown of survivin and cIAP1 significantly induced cell death in the YM155-resistant cell line, MKN45. We also showed that YM155 induced autoubiquitination and proteasome-dependent degradation of cIAP1. Surprisingly, survivin affected the stability of cIAP1 through binding, contributing to cell sensitivity to YM155. Thus, our findings reveal that YM155 sensitizes human gastric cancer cells to apoptotic cell death by degrading cIAP1, and furthermore, cIAP1 in gastric cancer cells may act as a PD marker for YM155 treatment.</P>
