        미러 타입 컨쥬게이트 캠의 설계와 가공에 관한 연구

        A mirror cam mechanism, a kind of conjugate cam mechanism, consists of two cams, two rollers, and two links. Since profiles of two mirror cams are identical, a simultaneous machining of two cams is achievable. Some machining errors on cam profiles do not result in the internal acting force, which often causes problems in high speed cam mechanism, between two links. Also, since angular accelerations of two links are same, the internal acting force by the difference of the angular accelerations does not occur in the mechanism. Thus the mirror cam mechanism is very useful in high speed machinery. This paper studies a design method as well as a machining method, and develops an exclusive CAD/CAM software for mirror cam profiles. The developed CAD/CAM software is applied to a typical mirror cam mechanism, and a mock-up equipment is built in order to test the machined mirror cam. Experimental investigations show that the contact between cam surface and roller surface according to cam rotation agrees well with the simulation on the developed CAD/CAM software.

      • 산발성 장형 위선암 환자의 Microsatellite Instability와 병리학적 양상

        Background : Through many researches, microsatellite is expected to be a good diagnositic and prognostic factor in colorectal cancer, endometrial cancer, gastric cancer, and the others. The prevalence of microsatellite instability (MSI) in gastric carcinoma has reported variously, 13~44%. Purpose : We aimed to determine the prevalence of MSI-high and the relationship between MSI and pathological characteristics of sporadic intestinal type adenocarcinoma of stomach. Material and Methods : We analyzed 106 sporadic intestinal type adenocarcinoma specimens excised from patients who were over thirty-five years old to determine the statue of microsatellite by DNA sequencing. The tissues were formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded. DNA were extracted and amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). MSI was determined using five markers recommended by National Cancer Institute (NCI). Specimens were also studied with five patholical factors-differenciation of tumor cells, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, vessel invasion, and perineural invasion- to determine pathological state. Result : The microsatellite statue was determined as MSI-High in 5 cases (4.7%), no MSI-low, and MSS (microsatellite stable) in 101 cases (95.3%). Within the frequency, there was no large gap in the distinction of gender in MSI cases, but in MSS cases, there was three-times more cases in male. MSI cases had moderate-to-poor differenciation and trend to invade toward serosa. All MSI cases showed no perineural invasion. But we could not find any statistical significance between MSI and pathological characteristics of sporadic intestinal type adenocarcinoma. Conclusion : Results suggest that MSI can not make any certain pathological significance in sporadic intestinal type adenocarcinoma. Even though less than 5% of sporadic intestinal type adenocarcinoma patients showed MSI, it can be used as a influential prediagnostic factor of gastric cancer. Further study with large scale of cases will be followed to verify these results.

        정부 재정지원 교육정책의 성과분석 연구 : 지방대학혁신역량강화사업 정책사례연구

        지방대학의 혁신역량을 강화하여 지역인적자원을 개발하고,나아가 지역혁신을 이루고자 시작된 지방대학혁신역량강화사업(일명,누리사업)이 만 3년째를 넘어선 시점에서,정잭사업의 재정지원성과에 대한 객관적인 분석은 앞으로 남은 사업지속기간을 효율적,체계적으로 관리·지원하고,그간의 예상치 못한 문제점들를 지적·보완하여 정책 효율성과 효과성을 제고한다는 측면에서 중요성을 가진다. 이 연구의 목적은 누리사업의 재정지원에 대한 교육성과(2004년∼2006년)를 세 가지 필수달성지표(교원충원률, 학생충원률,취업률)를 중심으로 분석하고,지속적인 누리사업의 성과분석을 위한 당면과제 식별과 함께 향후 나아가야 할 방향을 제언하고자 함이다. 성과분석을 위하여 준로그모형과 프로빗모형을 활용한 회귀분석석을 실시하였고,다음의 교육성과를 확인하였다. 2004년 대비 2006년도 누리사업 재정지원 효과를 직접적로 확인할 수 있는 지표인 학생 1인당 집행실적과 교원 1인당 집행실적은 각각 누리사업사업단의 학생충원과 교원충원에 기여한 것으로 나타났고,학생 인당 집행실적은 누리사업단의 2006년도 학생충원률 목표치 달성에도 기여한 것으로 나타났다. 반면,누리사업단의 학생취업률에 대한 누리사업의 재정지원효과는 없었다. Since the year 2004, Korean govemment has carried out 'New University for Regional Innovation' project(NURI), a national policy for financial support to make regional universities more competitive. NURI was set out with a sense of crisis that incompetitiveness of regional universities may weaken knowledge base of a nation. For NURI, over a trillion dollar will be invested into the competitivcness-building process of regional universities for 5 years. At the point of time that three years have passed since NUIU project goes into effect, this study attempted to analyze its educational outcomes. This study mainly depended on quantitative analysis using Semi-log-linear regression model and Probit regression model. In a view of the results so far analyzed, NURI project seems to make partly positive effects on strengthening competitiveness of regional universities. Although the results may not confirm qualitative confidence, NURI project contributed to quantitative increase of student enrollment rate and faculty-student ratio. This study also cidds methodological advices for future studies to the end of this paper.

        등장성 운동 시 회귀분석기간에 따른 근전도 중앙주파수 회귀직선의 특징

        Many studies have shown that the initial median frequency (MDF) and slope correlate with the muscle fiber composition. This study tested the hypothesis that the initial MDF and slope are fixed, regardless of the inerval at which data are collected. MDF data using moving fast Fourier transformation of EMG signals, following local fatigue induced by isotonic exercise, were obtained. An inverse FFT was used to eliminate noise, and characteristic decreasing regression lines were obtained. The regression analysis was done in three different periods, the first one third, first half, and full period, looking at variance in the initial MDF, slope, and fatigue index. Data from surface EMG signals during fatiguing isotonic exercise of the biceps brachii and vastus lateralis in 20 normal subjects were collected. The loads tested were 30% and 60% maximum voluntary contraction (MVC) in the biceps brachii and 40% and 80% MVC in the vastus lateralis. The rate was 25 flexions per minute. There were no significant differences in the initial MDF or slope during the early or full periods of the regression, but there was a significant difference in the fatigue index. Therefore, to observe the change in the initial MDF and slope of the MDF regression line during isotonic exercise, this study suggest that only the early interval need to be observed.

        Ruled Surface로 형성된 임펠러 블레이드 전용 CAD/CAM 시스템 개발 Ⅱ : 5-축 가공에 관한 연구 A Study on the 5-Axis Machining

        This study is continuous with the study 1 (A Study on the Modeling) and the sample impeller of this study is defined by the modeling process of the exclusive CAD/CAM system developed in the study I. And, this study describes a method for the 5-axis machining of impeller blades formed by ruled surface. Therefore, the exclusive CAD/CAM system is the software for modeling and machining of impeller blades. By using the machining method suggested in this study, we could manufacture impeller blades on 5-axis CNC machining center and the machined impeller was very agreeable to the designed impeller. Thus, theories proposed in this study can be very useful for the 5-axis machining of impeller blades.

        Gastric metastasis from breast cancer is rare and only six cases have been reported in Korea. Colon metastasis is more rare than gastric metastasis. We report a 63-year-old woman with gastric and colon metastases of invasive lobular carcinoma of breast. She was diagnosed as right breast cancer, received right modified radical mastectomy 10 years ago and has been treated with chemotherapy and hormone therapy. Investigating for melena and a small caliber of stool, we found gastric and colon metastases. The diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer was made through gross pathologic and immunohistochemistry staining. We report a case with gastric and colon metastases from breast cancer and a review of the associated six case reports in Korea.

        아므르불가사리 (Asterias amurensis)의 배우자를 이용한 남해해역 연안해수의 생물학적 수질평가

        This study was carried out to evaluate off-shore water quality and to draw marine pollution map to Southern sea in Korea by bioassay using gametes and early development system of Asterias amurensis. From the bioassay, it was determined that the water qualites of Southern sea maintained the grade Ⅱ, because development of A. amurensis were moderately inhibited. However, Sunchon, Kwangyang, and Jinhae Bay belonged to grade Ⅲ, because development of A. amurensis were strongly inhibited. This could be due to the inflows of several river systems and poor water circulation. The water quality at Yosu island was the grade I, because A. amurensis were not inhibited in its early development.

        Ruled Surface로 형성된 임펠러 블레이드 전용 CAD/CAM 시스템 개발 Ⅰ : 모델링에 관한 연구 A Study on the Modeling

        We have developed the exclusive CAD/CAM system for the machining of impeller blades. This study is about the modeling method for the effective machining of impeller blades formed by ruled surface. As the impeller is consisted of boss part and blade part, the boss is modeled by rotational surface of hub curve on z-axis and the blade is described by ruled-surfaces between hub curve and shroud curve. This modeling process can be carried out on the software developed in this study. And, the developed software can describe the impeller as a solid model through interface with Solid-Works software. The developed software containing the interface method proposed in this study was very effective for impeller modeling.

      • 석탄회 및 석고첨가가 퇴비화에 미치는 영향

        Problems of wastes that pigs produce are increasing rapidly in the hog raising industry nowadays. consequently, the generation volume of excreta also is increasing but most of that is not disposed appropriately and exposed in eco-system therefore the disposal of stock excreta is becoming more and more serious. considering the physical and chemical characteristics of livestock excreta, the pollution loading rate - BOD, COD etc. - is very high. as alternative plan, that is, as one method kind of composisting, the utilization of the soil reformation agent will become one solution in managing the upper problems. also, the flyash of 3.7 million tons are producing every year and about 32.2% of that, 1.18 million ton is recycled as concrete, cement, cementassistance, road etc. consequently, the discharged flyash is not abandoned and a plan of recycling is needed acutely. gypsum of 4.16 million tons in 1998 presently was produced and about 57.2% of that, 2.38 million tons was recycled as cement, construction materials. the present stock is 25 million tons. therefore, in this study, because organic materials can be obtained in pig excreta and calciums can be obtained in gypsum, the small amount of elements can be acquired in flyash for the soil reformation agents, mixing the three materials - pig excreta, gypsum, flyash - adequately, investigated technique of making the soil reformation agents and described below in comparrision with the changes of temperature, PH TOC, T-N, TOC/T-N ratio etc.

      • 토양에서 클로르피리포스의 동력학적 거동

        We have investigated physicochemical characteristics and behavior of chlorpyrifos(CPF) in the agricultural soil, soil + dry waste food(DWF) and soil +manure. Experiments were accomplished biological degradation of samples loaded with chlorpyrifos in incubator at 27℃ during 30days in laboratory. In this study, Sample containing soil + manure has shown to be better biological degradation than sample of soil + DWF. The kinetics of chlorpyrifos oxidation catalyzed by agricultural soil, soil + DWF, and soil + manure can be described by Henri-Michaelis-Menten equation, V=(Vmax)/( Km+ C), where Vmax is the maximum velocity and Km the concentration of the substrate(C) corresponding to an initial(V) half of Vmax. The value of Vmax and km is 0.0588㎍CPF/g.soil.hr and 7.3529㎍CPF/g.soil in agricultural soil, 0.0601㎍CPF/g.soil∙hr and 4.4117㎍CPF/g.soil in the soil loaded DWF and 0.0890㎍CPF/g.soil∙hr and 4.2818㎍CPF/g.soil in the soil added manure. Therefore the order of Vmax. were Manure> DWF> Agricultural soil.
