본 연구에서는 원격탐사나 지리정보시스템 등을 적응하여 ASCII형태의 수지표고자료와 원격탐사 자료를 이용하여 분류한 토지피복도를 이용하여 각 토지피복별로 알베도와 바로크계수, 증발효율 등을 이용할 수 있는 격자형 토지피복자료를 격자단위로 분할하여 모형의 입력값으로 이용하였기 때문에 유역의 공간적인 특성을 반영한 덜다 정확하고 신뢰성있는 자료의 구축이 가능했고, 기존의 열수지법을 이용하여 증발산량의 시 공간적인 분포양상을 계산할 수 있는 격자기반의 분포형 증발산량 추정 프로그램을 포트란언어고 개발하였으며, 격자형 증발산량 산정 모형은 향후 연될 격자기반의 분포형 강우-유출모형과 통합할 수 있도록 고려하였다. 또한, 격자기반의 계산으로 증발산량에 대한 유역내 특정지점에서의 시7)적 변화 양상과 공간적 분포 양상을 GIS상에서 나타낼 수 있도록 구성하였다. 모형의 적용성 검증을 위해서 비교적 정화한 기상자료와 수문자료를 보유하고 있는 일본의 쇼나이강 유역(532㎢)을 대상으로 적응한 결과, 유역 연평균 증발산량은 825.4mm로 나타났다. A Grid-based distributed evaporation prediction model which calculates temporal and spatial evaporation with a heat balance method was developed. And, the model was considered as the integration with distributed hydrological model in near future. This model was programmed by fortran language and used ASCII formatted map data of DEM (Digital Elevation Model) and land cover map extracted by remote sensing data. Also, temporal variations and spatial distributions of evaporation are presented by using GIS. To verify the applicability of the model, it was applied to the Shonai river basin (532㎢) which has sufficient meteorological and hydrological data, Japan. The result shows that the estimated mean annual evaporation was 825.41nm, and this value is estimated as suitable things in considering rainfall and discharge data in study area.
SDS-PAGE를 이용한 우리나라 벼 유전자원의 저장단백질 특성평가

벼 종실의 단백질 함량 및 조성은 식미에서 매우 중요한 형질로서, 우리나라 벼 유전자원의 종실 단백질 조성의 특성을 평가하고자 재래종 벼 390점, 샤레 46점 및 앵미 105점을 공시하여 SDS-PAGE방법으로 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 우리나라 벼 유전자원의 단백질 패턴은 60kD 및 13kD의 단배질 분포에 따라 총 24개형으로 구분되었다. 2. 저장 단백질 중 60kD의 밴드패턴에 의한 분석에 의하면 앵미 및 샤레벼의 63%, 재래종의 91%, 육성종 100%가 진한 밴드패턴을 보였다. 3. 저장단백질 13kD밴드의 패턴에 의해 6가지 형태로 구분되었으며, 대부분의 accessions은 13kD-a 및 13kD-b사이에 추가적인 밴드가 관찰되었다. Protein contents and their composition are very important in controlling rice quality. A total of 633 rice (Oryza sativa L.) varieties/lines consisting of 390 landraces, 46 Share and 105 Red rice weedy type collection, and 92 improved varieties were analyzed for endosperm storage protein evaluation using single seed of each accession. Proteins were separated by the Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The 24 different types were developed based on the polypeptide banding patterns of 60kD and 13kD proteins. In the 60kD polypeptide banding pattern, almost 63% of Red rice and Share collection showed thick band intensity, while 91.1% of landraces and 100% of improved varieties had weak band intensity. Six types were discriminated at the near 13kD polypeptide by the intensity and migration mode. Most of accessions had two bands at prolamin of 13kD-a and 13kD-b, but one band was detected between 13kD-a and 13kD-b of the 21 accessions of the Red rice collection and five improved varieties.
망막아세포종 세포주(Y-79)의 Arylalkylamine N-acetyltransferase 활성에 미치는 Dopamine의 영향

The arylalkylamine N-acetyltransferase(AA-NAT, EC 2.3.1.87) in vertebral pineal gland and retina is rate-limiting enzyme in the pathway of biosynthesis of melatonin. AA-NAT activities are remarkably increased during night with 10-150 folds. Neurohormone melatonin is thought to play roles in a broad range of physiological functions in human, primarily through effects on the biological clock in the suprachiasmatic nucleus of the hypothalamus, This rhythm reflects large changes in the activities of AA-NAT. So the important regulatory role of AA-NAT has made it central interest in research on melatonin biochemistry and neurochemical signal transduction. The neurotransmitter that regulates the AA-NAT activities is norepinephrine, which acts through a cyclic AMP mechanism. The effect of dopamine on AA-NAT in human retinoblastoma Y-79 cells was studied. the obtained results are as follows; AA-NAT activities in Y-79 cells were increased by cyclic AMP, and dopamine inhibited the AA-NAT activities stimulated by forskolin. The pattern of inhibition of dopamine on the AA-NAT activities in Y-79 cells was time and concentration dependent. The results suggest that dopamine participates in the regulation of the AA-NAT activities through the inhibitory mechanism in the human pineal and retinal tissues.
다량의 하부위장관출혈이 병발된 Vibrio vulnificus 패혈증 1예

최근 저자들은 Vibrio vulnificus 감염에 의해 패혈증 및 이차성 피부 병변을 보인 42세의 남자 환자의 치료중 하부 위장관 출혈이 병발된 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. We experienced a case of Vibrop vulnificus septicemia which showed an unusual manifestation such as hematochezia. The patient was a 42-year-old man with chronic liver disease. The blood and wound culture revealed the organism. During intensive care, he suffered from massive hematochezi for several days. Colonoscopy and abdominal CT showed findings suspicious of ischemic colitis. To our knowledge, this is the first unusual case of V.vulnificus infection which showed massive lower gastrointestinal bleeding.

The purpose of this study is to substitute water-based painting materials for the current solvent-based ones used in motor-repairing process to minimize the exposure of organic solvents to the painters. This study assessed the exposure of organic solvents to the painters using water-based and solvent-based painting materials and compared compositions, painting processes and the health hazards of the application of these alternative painting materials. The results of this study are as follows. 1. solvent-based painting materials used in motor-repairing process consist of various organic solvents, which consist primarily of toluene, xylene, ethyl benzene, ethyl methyl bezene, trimethyl bezene, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, methyl isobutyl ketone, 2-ethoxy ethanol, 2-ethoxy ethyl acetate and toluene-2.4-diisocianate and the others. These organic solvents are know as health-hazardous substances. But water-based painting materials are high-solid, low-solvent ones and consist of such two organic solvents as 2-butoxy ethanol and 2-heptanone and the others. 2. The painters using solvent-based painting materials in motor-repairing process are exposed to various organic acetate, methyl isobutyl ketone, trimethyl benzene, 2-ethoxy ethanol, and 2-ethoxy ethyl acetate. But the painters using solvent-based ones are only exposed to 2-butoxy ethanol and 2-heptanone. 3. By using water-based painting materials in stead of solvent-based painting materials containing health-hazardous organic solvents, the exposure of such organic solvents in the painter's breathing zone can be largely prevented. 4. This study recommends water-based painting materials as substitutes for the current solvent-based ones used in motor-repairing process to minimize the exposure of organic solvents to the painters.
