        개의 전침마취가 Vital sign 및 혈액가스치 변화에 미치는 영향

        The present study was performed to elucidate the effect of canine electroacupuncture anesthesia on vital signs and blood gas values. Groups were divided into experimental (electroacupuncture: EA) and control (ketamine) groups. The vital signs (body temperature, respiration rate and pulse) and blood gas values (pH, $pCO_2$ and $pO_2$) of venous and arterial blood were determined. Body temperatures of EA group were significant higher than than of ketamine group at 15 min., 30 min., 45min. and 60 min. (p<0.05) after anesthesia, respectively. The respiration rates of EA group were higher than those of ketamine group, however, significant differences were not observed between both groups. The pulses of EA group were significant higher than those of ketamine group at 5 min. (p<0.05), 10 min. (p<0.01), 15 min. and 30 min. (p<0.05) after anesthesia, respectively. The arterial and venous blood pHs of ketamine group were slightly higher than those of EA group, respectively, however, no significant differences were found between both groups. Significant differences were not observed between both groups in the arterial and venous blood $pCO_2$, respectively. The arterial blood $pO_2$ of EA group was significant higher than those of ketamine group at 5 min. (p<0.05) after anesthesia. No significant differences were observed between both groups in the venous blood $pO_2$. These results suggest that the changes of vital signs and blood gas values of EA group are similar to those of ketamine group with the exception of changes in the body temperature, pulse and arterial blood $pO_2$.

      • The Effect of pH and Various Cations on the GTP Hydrolysis of Rice Heterotrimeric G-protein α Subunit Expressed in Escherichia Coli

        Previously, we reported the biochemical properties of RGA1 that is expressed in Escherichia coli (Seo et al., 1997). The activities of RGA1 that hydrolyzes and binds guanine nucleotide were dependent on the $MgCl_2$ concentration. The steady state rate constant ($k_{cat}$) for GTP hydrolysis of RGA1 at 2 mM $MgCl_2$ was $0.0075{\pm}0.0001\;min^{-1}$. Here, we examined the effects of pH and cations on the GTPase activity. The optimum pH at 2 mM $MgCl_2$ was approximately 6.0; whereas, the pH at 2 mM $NH_4Cl$ was approximately 4.0. The result from the cation dependence on the GTPase (guanosine 5'-triphosphatase) activity of RGA1 under the same condition showed that the GTP hydrolysis rate ($k_{cat}=0.0353\;min^{-1}$) under the condition of 2mM $NH_4Cl$ at pH 4.0 was the highest. It corresponded to about 3.24-fold of the $k_{cat}$ value of $0.0109\;min^{-1}$ in the presence of 2 mM $MgCl_2$ at pH 6.0.

      • Comparative evaluation of the algorithms for parametric mapping of the novel myocardial PET imaging agent <sup>18</sup> F-FPTP

        <P><B>Objective</B></P><P>(<SUP>18</SUP>F-fluoropentyl)triphenylphosphonium salt (<SUP>18</SUP>F-FPTP) is a new promising myocardial PET imaging tracer. It shows high accumulation in cardiomyocytes and rapid clearance from liver. We performed compartmental analysis of <SUP>18</SUP>F-FPTP PET images in rat and evaluated two linear analyses: linear least-squares (LLS) and a basis function method (BFM) for generating parametric images. The minimum dynamic scan duration for kinetic analysis was also investigated and computer simulation undertaken.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P><SUP>18</SUP>F-FPTP dynamic PET (18 min) and CT images were acquired from rats with myocardial infarction (MI) (<I>n</I> = 12). Regions of interest (ROIs) were on the left ventricle, normal myocardium, and MI region. Two-compartment (<I>K</I><SUB>1</SUB> and <I>k</I><SUB>2</SUB>; 2C2P) and three-compartment (<I>K</I><SUB>1</SUB>–<I>k</I><SUB>3</SUB>; 3C3P) models with irreversible uptake were compared for goodness-of-fit. Partial volume and spillover correction terms (<I>V</I><SUB><I>a</I></SUB> and <I>α</I> = 1 − <I>V</I><SUB><I>a</I></SUB>) were also incorporated. LLS and BFM were applied to ROI- and voxel-based kinetic parameter estimations. Results were compared with the standard ROI-based nonlinear least-squares (NLS) results of the corresponding compartment model. A simulation explored statistical properties of the estimation methods.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>The 2C2P model was most suitable for describing <SUP>18</SUP>F-FPTP kinetics. Average <I>K</I><SUB>1</SUB>, <I>k</I><SUB>2</SUB>, and <I>V</I><SUB><I>a</I></SUB> values were, respectively, 6.8 (ml/min/g), 1.1 (min<SUP>−1</SUP>), and 0.44 in normal myocardium and 1.4 (ml/min/g), 1.1 (min<SUP>−1</SUP>), and 0.32, in MI tissue. Ten minutes of data was sufficient for the estimation. LLS and BFM estimations correlated well with NLS values for the ROI level (<I>K</I><SUB>1</SUB>: <I>y</I> = 1.06<I>x</I> + 0.13, <I>r</I><SUP><I>2</I></SUP> = 0.96 and <I>y</I> = 1.13<I>x</I> + 0.08, <I>r</I><SUP><I>2</I></SUP> = 0.97) and voxel level (<I>K</I><SUB>1</SUB>: <I>y</I> = 1.22<I>x</I> − 0.30, <I>r</I><SUP><I>2</I></SUP> = 0.90 and <I>y</I> = 1.26<I>x</I> + 0.00, <I>r</I><SUP><I>2</I></SUP> = 0.92). Regional distribution of kinetic parametric images (<I>αK</I><SUB>1</SUB>, <I>K</I><SUB>1</SUB>, <I>k</I><SUB>2</SUB>, <I>V</I><SUB>a</SUB>) was physiologically relevant. LLS and BFM showed more robust characteristics than NLS in the simulation.</P><P><B>Conclusions</B></P><P>Fast kinetics and highly specific uptake of <SUP>18</SUP>F-FPTP by myocardium enabled quantitative analysis with the 2C2P model using only the initial 10 min of data. LLS and BFM were feasible for estimating voxel-wise parameters. These two methods will be useful for quantitative evaluation of <SUP>18</SUP>F-FPTP distribution in myocardium and in further studies with different conditions, disease models, and species.</P><P><B>Electronic supplementary material</B></P><P>The online version of this article (doi:10.1007/s12149-017-1171-6) contains supplementary material, which is available to authorized users.</P>

        Preparation and characterization of ACs/TiO2 composite electrodes for improving the specific capacitance of electrochemical double-layer capacitors.

        <P>In this work, the energy storage composite electrodes were prepared by mixing activated carbons (ACs) modified with a nanosize titanium oxide (TiO2) through a means of ultrasonic vibration in ethanol solution for 30 min. We examined the cyclic voltammetry of the composite electrodes in an aqueous electrolyte, 1 M H2SO4. It was found that the specific capacitance of the composite electrodes measured in a range of 0-0.8 V was increased from 100 to 155 F/g compared to carbon electrodes comprised of activated carbon only. This was attributed to a reduction of polarization of the ACs modified by nanosized TiO2.</P>

        허웅의 ‘훈민정음’에 대한 인식과 영향관계 : 19세기 말∼20세기 전반기, ‘국어학’ 학술네트워크 고찰을 위하여

        ‘훈민정음’은 일제강점기 이후 일본 제국에 저항할 수 있는, 민족적 자부심이 담긴 대표적인 유산으로 여겨왔다. 그리고 그러한 인식은 19세기 말∼20세기 초의 지식인, 특히 국어학자들의 훈민정음에 대한 연구성과와 직접 연결되어 있다. 특히 ‘허웅’은 20세기 전반기의 국어학 연구나 언어에 대한 인식 등을 현재까지 잇는 중간 역할을 하였다는 측면에서 ‘허웅’의 훈민정음 인식에 대해 주목할 필요가 있다. 이 연구는 앞선 연구에서 주로 다루어 온 주시경, 권덕규, 김윤경, 최현배, 홍기문 등의 연구 성과를 바탕으로 허웅의 ‘훈민정음’에 대한 인식이나 연구에 대해 고찰하고자 한다. 그것은 허웅(1974가, 나)에서 볼 수 있듯이 그의 말과 글의 관계나, 한글전용과 같은 언어 정책에 대한 입장 등은 대부분 ‘훈민정음’ 특히 ‘어제서문’의 해석과 관련하여 설명되고 있어서 그의 ‘훈민정음’에 대한 인식을 검토할 필요성이 있기 때문이다. 한편 허웅은 학문에 대한 태도는 실증적이고 엄정하다는 평가를 받고 있고 스스로도 그러한 관점에서 연구하고자 하였다. 그러나 훈민정음 서문의 해석에서는 앞선연구의 전통을 그대로 이어받아 실증적이고 비판적인 태도를 찾아보기 힘들었다. 이 연구에서는 그러한 허웅의 관점이 허웅의 학문적 태도에서 출발했다기보다는 훈민정음에 대한 우리의 인식이 그만큼 맹목적인 부분이 있었기 때문이었음을 강조하고자 하였다. 허웅의 훈민정음에 대한 인식은 『한글과 민족 문화』(1974ㄱ)에 선명히 나타나 있는데, 이외에도 『우리말과 글의 내일을 위하여』(1974), 『우리말과 글에 쏟아진 사랑』(1979), 「세종의 언어 정책과 국어 순화 정신」 (1980), 『이삭을 줍는 마음으로』(1981) 등에서도 그의 훈민정음에 대한 인식을 엿볼 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 위의 자료를 바탕으로 허웅의 훈민정음에 대한 인식을 고찰하고자 한다. Since the flowering period, ‘Hunminjeongeum’ has been understood as a representative heritage showing the pride of the people who oppose the Western modernity or resist the Japanese empire. In this process, it was natural that the research related to the Hunminjeongeum of intellectuals, especially Korean scholars, became the basis. So far, in the previous study, discussions about Hunminjeongeum such as Ju Si Kyung, Kwon Duk Kyu, Kim Yoon Kyung, Choi Hyun Bae, and Hong Gi Moon have been discussed to some extent. However, there is a need for this research in that the review of the ‘Hunminjeongeum’ by Mr. Huh has not been done yet. As we can see in Huh Woong(1974, I) in particular, the relationship between his words and writings, and the position of language policy, such as Hangul, are mostly explained in relation to the contents of ‘Hunminjeongeum’, especially ‘Preface’, which makes it more necessary to examine his perception of ‘Hunminjeongeum’. On the other hand, as discussed in Seo Min-jeong(2011), “Hunminjeongeum” and “Preface” were translated into the language of the 15th century (say) and translated into the language of the 20th century in the first half of the 20th century. The material that reveals Huh Woong’s awareness of Hunminjeongeum is “Hangul and National Culture”(1974). Other than that, for the sake of Korean and Writing tomorrow (1974), Korean and Writing Love(1979), Sejong’s Language Policy and Korean Refinement Spirit(1980), Isaac’s Mind, etc.(1981), and the Korean and Korean Cultures(1974, Sejong University, and the Korean People’s Association(1974), The Korean language policy is also discussed, and the teacher’s recognition of the Hunminjeongeum can be said to be followed by the Korean language policy. Based on the above data, I would like to examine the perception of Hunminjeongeum by Mr. Huh. In this study, we found that the attitude of Huh Hung"s scholarship showed a different pattern in the interpretation of the preface of Hunminjeongeum. And it was examined that such aspect did not overcome the limitations of the situation of the times rather than the problem of attitude of Heung. Based on these considerations, we should recognize that it is time to reinterpret and evaluate Hunminjeongeum.

        연구보문 : 자연과학 ; 황산처리에 의한 불투수성 황근 종자의 발아촉진에 관한 연구

        The reason of poor germination rate of hamabo mallow seed was speculated using TZ test to determine the viability of seed. Seeds showed high viability via TZ test were not germinated well. The quiescent seeds did not imbibed properly due to the hard seed coat and did not show further processes required for germination. Several well-known treatments for seed coat loosening and water uptake into seed were applied and compared for their efficiency. Stratification, hot water treatment, seed coat scarification, wet-cold treatment were revealed as less effective for improving germination although those treatments were common method for breaking dormant seed. Chemical scarification with sulfuric acid, however, effectively increased germinability and promptness index of hamabo mallow seeds. Optimal time for sulfuric acid treatment was 20 min. Seeds treated for 20 min showed improved germination percentage, germination speed, and promptness index of 80%, 13, and 1969 at 30 days after imbibition, respectively, in petri dish experiment. The values were greater than control seeds showed low values (12%, 1, and 183, respectively). The similar tendency was observed in the pot experiment that sulfuric acid treated seed were sown in artificially mixed soil (loamy soil:peatmoss:sand:compost = 5:2:2:1) and placed in greenhouse. Ultrastructure analysis of chemically scarified seed with sulfuric acid for 20 min by scanning electron microscopy did not show any noticeable changes in seed coat hardness and water uptake via hilum. But the only change after sulfuric acid treatment was removal of hilum cap that close the hilum and hider imbibition. Therefore, subsequent experiment was conducted to know the relationship between removal of hilum cap and facilitated imbibition by sulfuric acid treatment and whether the hilum cap removal directly influenced to the opening of micropyle. Water uptake velocity of seed treated for 20 min in concentrated sulfuric acid for was greater than control seed. This result implies that the crucial effect of sulfuric acid treatment is the removal of hilum cap that increase water uptake via micropyle in hamabo mallow.

        The relationship between aerobic capacity and the recruitment of activated sweat gland density with passive heating

        This study investigated whether the recruitment of activated sweat gland density during passive heating [immersion of the lower body into hot water, 41℃ for 30 min (PH), room temperature 23 ± 0.5℃ with 60 ± 3% relative humidity] is different in endurance-trained (Trainee), compared with that of untrained subjects (Control), as indicated by VO2max. Eight trainees and seven control female subjects (38.31 ± 4.91 ml·kg-1·min-1 and 31.8 ± 0.92 ml·kg-1·min-1, respectively, p < 0.01) were similar on all other physical characteristics. To compare the changes between the trainees and controls, serum cortisol and prolactin (PRL), tympanic temperature (TYMP), local activated sweat gland density (L-ASGD) and the mean whole body sweat loss volume (M-WBSLV) changes were measured after PH. The cortisol was significantly higher (p < 0.05) and the PRL tended to be higher in the Trainee than in the Control. The TYMP increased more in the Trainee than in the Control (p < 0.001). The L-ASGD showed a higher tendency in the Trainee than in the Control, there was a significant difference in the mean activated sweat gland density (p < 0.01) and the L-ASGD was significantly correlated with the VO2max (p < 0.001). The M-WBSLV was significantly higher in the Trainee (p < 0.001) and significantly correlated with the VO2max (p < 0.001). The results suggest that in humans, a high aerobic capacity is associated with a greater recruitment of activated sweat glands, whole body loss of volume and TYMP. Therefore, the decline in the heat loss responses, due to decrease in maximal oxygen consumption, may be masked by repeated endurance exercise training.

        PTC/NTC Behaviors of Nanostructured Carbon Black-filled HDPE Polymer Composites

        In this study, the effects of carbon black (CB) content and anodic oxidation treatment with AgNO3 on positive temperature coefficient (PTC) behavior of CB/HDPE nanocomposites were investigated. Also, the addition of elastomer as a toughing agent was studied. The 20~50 wt% of CB, 0~5 wtt% of elastomer, and 1 wt% of AgNO3-filled HDPE nanocomposites were prepared using the internal mixer in 60 rpm at 160˚C and the compression-molded at 180˚C for 10 min. As a result, the room temperature resistivity and PTC intensity of the composites were dependent, to a large extent, on the content of CB, addition of elastomer, and surface chemical properties that were controlled in the relative arrangements of the carbon black aggregates in a polymeric matrix. Moreover, the composites with relatively low room temperature resistivity and suitable PTC intensity could be achieved by treatment of AgNO3. Consequently, it was noted that PTC effect was due to the deagglomeration or the breakage of the conductive networks caused by thermal expansion or crystalline melting of the polymeric matrix.

        무선인터넷은 유선망을 중심으로 한 인터넷 비즈니스의 범위 만큼이나 다양한 형태의 데이터 제공 및 서비스가 가능해야 한다. 하지만, 무선 인터넷 초기의 SMS 기능을 이용한 단순 데이터 서비스를 위한 브라우저 만으로는 다양한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 서비스할 수 없으므로 좀더 발전된 브라우저가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 이동단말기용 웹브라우저에 자바가상기계를 추가하여 자바프로그램 수행이 가능한 자바브라우저를 설계 구현하였다. 본 자바브라우저를 탑재한 이동단말기는 원하는 기능의 자바 프로그램을 동적으로 적재하여 전자상거래, 전자지갑, 게임기와 같은 다용도의 이동단말기를 가능하게 한다. Wireless Internet has to offer various types of services as much as wired network does in the scope of Internet business. The browser for simple data service using SMS in the early wireless internet cannot serve various multimedia contents. In this paper, We design and implement a Java browser that runs Java program, by adding JVM(Java Virtual Machine) into the web browser for mobile terminals. The Java browser for mobile terminals dynamically loads various Java program you want. This browser makes it possible to be multipurpose mobile terminals for E-Commerce, E-Wallet, Game Device.
