        Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been panedemic and remains one of the most commom STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods: For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results: In 1996, 139 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 53(39.0%) were PPNG. Conclusion: Our results suggests that after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is gradually declining.

      • 産業構造 形成政策에 관한 硏究 : 手段體系 分析을 중심으로

        According to Tyson Industrial Policy is means policy aimed at problems in specific industrial sectors. Systematizing Industrial Policies we can divide Structure Policies into three categories : 1) Industrial Structure Adjusting Policies 2) Industrial Structure Preserving Policies 3) Industrial Structrial Structure Setting-up Policies. 1) and 2) are somewhat positive policies as long they have something to do with existing industries, which suffer with foreign competition or domestic ressesion. The last one (3) is, however, one of active Structure Policies or Growth Policies. In this study we analysed, in particular, the Industrial Structure Setting-up Policies. As Industrial Structure Setting-up is to implant new industries in national economy, its carrying on is more comprehensive and long-sighted than otehrs. For the structure adjustment of industries, for instance, the means to be recalled may be confined mainly in fiscal and credit policies. Structure Setting-up of a new industry need more informations and knowledges about the world economy, technologies in technology & capital intensive. South Korea, as one developing or semi-developed countiries, should take considerations into this aspects. In order to bulid (set up) new or future industries this paper systematized means catalog as following : (1) proposing the long-term vision about High-Tech. or New Industries : this is the first step toward forming new industries by transfering market and technological informations to private sectors. (2) building industrial infrastructure, to which not merely Social Overhead Capital but also invisible capital(education, information network etc.) belong. (3) government investment and procurement, which can secure domestic market and allure willingness of private enterprises. (4) financial and credit policy, which directly induce private investments (5) industrial organisation policy : for industrial setting-up of High-Tech. industry, industrial concentration is assumed to be helpful particularly for developing or semi-conductor industry makes it clear. Korean and Taiwanese semi-conductor industry makes it clear. (6) common R&C activities : it seems very important for Korea to reduce technological distance to industry countries(US, Japan). In this regards we expect government to coordinate different interests of participants in technology consorsium. In this paper we tried to theorize or categorize industrial structure setting-up policy. The purpose is, therefore, not to give detailed information about ad-hoc process policies, but analyze the related practices and in final build the framework of policies.

      • 洛東江砂의 剪斷應力 特性

        The shear stress characteristics of sand is differented according to grain distribution, porosity after consolidated andlateral pressure. And then, I experimentd with consolidated undrained triaxial test using the samples obtained from the Waegwanbridge, the Goryong bridge, the Weechun bridge and the Chungchean. The results are as follows; I found out that the sand having small uniformity coefficient showed great friction angle and secant modulus of failure E? under the small lateral pressure, and the base having great E? could have shallow ddpth of foundation according to the conception of Rankine's limit bearing stress.

      • 생물막 유동층 반응기를 이용한 페수처리시 미생물 농도 예측에 관한 연구

        This experiment was carried out to investigate biomass concentrations of attached biofilm in a Fluidized-Bed Biofilm Reactor(FBBR) which was run by varying influent COD from 2.070mg/l to 12,400mg/l. The following conditions fixed during the experiments; superficial upflow velocity was 0.47cm/s, operating temperature was 22±1℃ and pH was 7±0.1. The Substrate was glucose based synthetic wastewater. The COD removal efficiency was shown as 73% and 93%, respectively, when influent COD was increased from 2.070mg/l to 12,400mg/l. The observed biomass concentrations were pretty close to those calculated from the equation with measured parameters, such as biofilm thickness, biofilm density, bed porosity and bioparticle diameter.

      • 항산화제 복합비타민 섭취기간에 따른 운동강도별 SOD·CAT 활성도의 변화

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the shift of antioxidant enzymes SOD, CAT for the period of vitamin mixture supplementation during continued exercise. The subjects were consisted of male 14 Korea National Bowlers who have been trained at training center of Korea Sports Council. To know the shift of variables was expreimented at point of before supplement-action, after 4 weeks & 8 weeks at 80%HRmax & 85%HRmax used treadmill by balke protocol. In a day, the 2 capsules were supplemented for 8 weeks with the vitamin mixture containing 500㎎ ascorbic acid of vitamin C, 400I.U a-Tocopherol of vitamin E, 50㎎ β-Carotene, 92.6㎎ selenium. The results of the study can be summerized in the followings ; SOD(superoxide dismutase) activity increased in exercise intensity of 85%HRmax than 60%HRmax before supplementation of vitamin mixture. But, the tendancey of SOD activity was decreased according to the period of supplement. In particular, 85%HRmax after 4 weeks was lower than the exercise intensity of 60%HRmax. It was a result to remove for SOD in high exercise intensity induced much oxygen radical. CAT(catalase) level increased in exercise intensity of 85%HRmax than 60%HRmax before supplementation of vitamin mixture were significantly different between exercise intensities. So, higher CAT activity in high exercise intensity was controled free radical in high exercise intensity. It was expected as a antioxidants when vitamin mixture was supplemented over 4 weeks in exercise intensity of 60%HRmax and 85%HRmax.

      • 걷기운동이 비만여성의 체수분의 변화에 관한 연구

        The thesis has calculated the average (M) and the average deviation (SD) before and after by method of exercises against each analyzing item, so it has inspected a difference between before and after by method of exercises through the pared t-test. The inspection against a difference between the methods of exercises was verified to make a use of the t-test of the independent sample. A change of the bodily constitutions has a significant difference of weight, amount of physical fat, rate of physical fat, rate of abdominal fat, physical water, BMI, BMR through inspection between before and after by exercise methods of one groups of 6.5㎞/h and another group of 5.5㎞/h. There is a statistically significant difference by exercise methods from one groups of 6.5㎞/h and another group of 5.5㎞/h as well as weight, amount of physical fat, BMI and BMR. While it was reduced in rate of physical fat, that of abdominal fat in difference by exercise methods., however, there was no significant difference observed between two groups This study found out to have a more positive effects on the bodily constitutions from 6.5㎞/h than 5.5㎞/h as the result of its performance, The program with the moving speed of walking exercise is very good for a fat woman as an exercise to get rid of fat trouble, as well as the walking exercise is lower than the other exercise in rate of abandonment of the exercise and it is easy for everybody to take exercise. A moving speed of walking exercise have on very good effect on the exerciser when it takes 6.5㎞/h, 50 minutes or more, every five times per week. We needs more study on another sex together with a weight exercise and so on., in order to get rid of the fat trouble.

      • 단전호흡 운동수련 전·후 혈장내 비질소화합물의 생화학적 변화

        The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the biochemical changes of the in-plasma non-nitrogen compounds between before and after the dahnjeon respiration training and thereby, determine the value of the dahnjeon respiration as aerobic exercise and its physiological effects. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, as a result of comparing the in-plasma glucose concentration between before and after the program, it was found that the concentrations were 121.38±10.06mg/dl and 119.25±9.75mg/dl, respectively, which was insignificant statistically. Nevertheless, the glucose concentration was lowered by the training program, although insignificantly. Second, as a result of comparing the triglyceride concentration between before and after the program, it was found that the concentrations were 154.63±7.61 mg/dl and 153.25±8.03mg/dl, respectively, which was significant statistically. Third, as a consequence of comparing the total cholesterol concentration between before and after the training program, it was found that the concentrations were 197.00±11.75mg/dl and 193.63±11.25mg/dl, respectively, which was also significant statistically. Fourth, as a result of comparing the HDL-C concentration between before and after the program, it was found that the concentrations were 53.25±7.09mg/dl and 54.50±6.95mg/dl, respectively, which was significant statistically, too. Fifth, as a result of comparing the LDL-C concentration between before and after the training program, it was found that the concentrations were 117.50±6.93mg/dl and 115.50±6.82mg/dl, respectively, which was also significant statistically. In conclusion, it was found through this study that after the dahnjeon respiration training, the in-body non-nitrogen compound concentrations has conspicuously lowered, which seemed to be very desirable to health. All these findings suggests that although the dahnjeon respiration training seems to be very static, it has an aerobic exercise effect. All in all, the dahnjeon respiration training which seems to be at once static and dynamic may be a good sports recommendable for the aging people.

        국산 DAF 펌프의 기포특성

        The paper introduces a domestic pump designed for dissolved air flotation (DAF). In the paper, the difference in performance between the domestic DAF pump and conventional pressure saturator is explained using the characteristics of air bubble released. The size distribution of air bubbles released from DAF pump is measured by image analyzer and particle size analyzer. And the mean diameter of bubbles is 43μm. The results are similar to that of pressure saturator. The air volume concentration in the water of domestic DAF pump and pressure saturator are 40 and 70% of theoretical amounts. In DAF system used domestic DAF pump, the removal efficiency of turbidity is 70%.

      • GPS 를 활용한 무인 비행체의 자율비행에 관한 연구

        In this paper, we describes a study on autonomic flight of UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) that is equipped with GPS(Global Positioning System). This research have used a quarter vehicle that has the form of rotary-wing aircraft. The quarter vehicle is unstable because it flies by lift forces from 4 propellers and turning repelling power. UAV flight control system applied inertia sensors to keep stable position and balance of the vehicle. GPS supplies correct position data that decides position, speed and direction of aircraft. With the help of GPS, the autonomic flight can be successful. Also, small size magneto-resistive sensors(MRS) improves the direction information of GPS. In this paper we propose a GPS application method and autonomic flight algorithm for coordinate calculation.
