The paper describes the development of a new automatic wrapping machine using paper films as it has not been used so far. The most of the automatic wrapping machine have used the vinyl film causing environmental pollution, the paper films, however, have a weak point in the aspect of high temperature adhesion. Therefore, the mechanism of the existing wrapping machine should be altered to prevent it from curling effect through the technical know-how. A new method and technology reducing the curling effect in the automnatic wrapping machine are demonstrated by using developed blower. Thus it is exqection and will decrease environmental pollution.

The study was conducted to find out suitable flame proofing on silk fabrics and to examine closely the flame retardancy effect and the physical properties changes of the silk, which was dyed by natural dyes and synthetic dyes, treated with agent (Diphenylbutylamidophasphte (DPBAP)). The results of the study were as followes: 1) Silk could be treated with DPBAP easily soluble in water by means of simple Pad-Dry-Cure. 2) The add-on of silk fabrics dyed by natural dyes was more than that of silk fabrics dyed by synthetic dyes. 3) The silk fabrics dyed by India ink among natural dyes has more flame retardancy effect in before treating with flame proofing agent than in after treating with it. 4) The physical properties (stiffness and tensile strength) of the silk fabrics treated with flame retardancy agent were little changed.
고성군 덕명리 일대 공룡 생흔 화석 산지의 자연탐사와 교재화를 위한 연구

경남 도내 고등학생들을 대상으로 실시한 고장 자연 탐사에서 덕명리 해안의 지질과 교육적 활용성을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 덕명리 해안의 지층은 진동층에 속하며 공룡과 조류의 족혼 화석, 연혼, 건열, 화성암의 관입 등의 관찰되고 해식애, 해식동, 해식대가 발달하였다. 2. 공룡 족혼 화석은 2족보행 공룡인 Theropod 와 Ornithopod 및 4족보행 공룡인 Sauropod의 것으로 추정되었다. 3. 본지역의 특징은 중학교 과학 및 고등학교 과학 I 하와 지구과학 교과의 침식 . 운반 . 퇴적작용, 지층과 화석, 지질시대의 환경과 생물, 우리나라의 지질 등의 단원에 좋은 야외 지질교재이다. 4. 내 고장 자연 탐사교육은 학생들에게 학습의 동기와 흥미를 유발시킬 수 있는 대단히 유요한 프로그램이었고, 설문 조사 등 분석결과에 의하면 과학 교육적 성과도 있었다.

A successful treatment of infants and children with congenital heart defects depends upon several factors: diagnosis must be accurate, the operative technique, including techniques of perfusion and myocardial preservation, must be suited to the needs of patients and intensive cares, including accurate anesthesia, must be applied through all stages of investigation and treatment, i.e. before, during and after the operation. Recently we performed a open heart surgery successfully for a six-years old girl who had suffered from frequent upper respiratory tract infection and mild to moderate exertional dyspnea with congenital heart defects (ventricular septal defect, Kirklin type II, with patent foramen ovale). The operation and postoperative course were very smooth. And now we report this with review of literatures.

This experiment was conducted to search for Rhizobia with good nitrogen fixation abilities and to investigate their physiological characteristics isolated from 12 soybean cultivars and the affinities of root nodule bacteria with soybeans. The results obtained were as follows ; Based on colors, Rhizobia grown on YMA medium were divided into 3 groups, i. e., white, translucent and transparent, amounting to 60, 30 and 10%, respectively. In litmus milk reation, the strains which produced alkali, acid serum, alkaline serum and acid reached to 51, 29, 9 and 11%, respectively. Strains, S022, and S096 were slow-growers and produced alkaili, while strains, S080, S090, and S118 were fastgrowers and produced acid. The growth of root nodule bacteria on YMA medium was favorable between the initial pHs of 6.0~7.0. Glutamine, asparagine and allantoin as nitrogen sources enhanced the growth of root nodule bacteria. All the strains tested formed nodules on the soybean roots, and the strains with good symbiotic nitrogen fixation abilities that had white color, small colony, nitrate reduction abilities and no nitrite reduction abilities showed comparatively high nitrogen fixing activities. Some strains varied in nitrogen fixing activities according to soybean cultivars, and a few strains formed ineffective nodules which showed no nitrogen fixing activity.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the variation of hardness of type Ⅳ gold alloy manufactured in Korea by heat treatment. Cylindrical disks specimens of 5 x 5㎜ have been treated by as-cast, softening and hardening heat treatment depending on Koran Dental Association Specification No. 5. Temperature range of heat treatment was 300℃-500℃ and time range of heat treatment was 1-20 minutes. Hardness number was measured by micro-vickers hardness tester with microprocessor. The results were as follows: Number of vickers hardness was 189.94±8.59 by as-casted, and hardened approximately 26.6% more than 150 by Korean Dental Association Specification No. 5. Type Ⅳ gold alloy was hardened by aging heat treatment, and maximum hardness number was 276.78±13.20 by heat treatment at 300℃ for 5 min and minimum hardness number was 148.30±6.46 by heat treatment at 350℃ for 1 min. Temperature range of heat treatment was 300℃-450℃ and time range of heat treatment was 10-15 minutes for the satisfaction of 220 hardness number by Korean Dental Association Specification No. 5.

The objective of this study is to develop the operation model of the double-skin facade for energy conservation and user comfort. This study proposes development process of the operation model in three steps. A case study is used to investigate the feasibility of the process. The G building in Kungkido is chosen. The main contents of this study are as follows. 1) The operation objectives and standards are established. And the operation factors classified according to the objectives and standards. 2) Correlation of the operation factors are clarified. And Individual models. The operation model is essential to building which has the double-skin facade and logical operation would be improved by this model. For the practical application of this operation model, it will be needed to connect the building management system.
