A new representation is found in this paper for computing the moments of the noncentral chi-square random variables. It is shown that the moments can be expressed as a polynomial whose coefficients satisfy a straightforward recurrence relation.

Active R biquadratic filters having no external capacitors are more amenable to integration, more accurate and more stable than active RC filters. But those are suitable for high frequency operation and medium-Q. In this paper a new active R filter circuit is proposed, which can be easily tuned over the wide frequency ranges of pole parameters by varying only the resitance ratios, and has low-sensitivities to all the passive and active elements. This circuit provides two types of secondorder filters; lowpass and bandpass.

This studies was carried out to investigate the processing possibility of pheasant meat extracts treated with proteases. The crude protein, aminonitrogen, degree of hydrolysis, yield and amino acid composition of pheasant meat extracts when it was treated with proteases at various temperature and reaction time were analyzed. The crude protein contents of pheasant meat extracts processed in 130℃ were more than when it was done in 100℃, but the contents of aminonitrogen were not quite different between two processing temperature. The content of crude protein and aminonitrogen when pheasant meat was hydrolyzed with protease NP and prozyme A. The yields of pheasant meat extracts, when pheasant meat were treated at 100℃ and 130℃, were from 2.24 to 7.10% and from 5.51 to 10.45%, respectively. And the yield of extraction depended on extraction temperature, kinds of enzyme, amount of enzyme, extraction time. The content of aminonitrogen in pheasant meat extracts treated with enzyme was much higher than any other treatments. And it depended on amount of enzyme, extraction time and temperature. The amount of the amino acids in pheasant meat extracts treated by protease NP were eminently higher than by heat at 100℃ or 130℃.

Holstein種의 血液像에 關한 硏究 : Ⅰ. 成牝牛의 血液像 Ⅰ. Hematologic Values of Adult Cows

國內에서 飼育되고 있는 Holstein種 成牧牛의 血液上의 標準値를 얻고저 全南地域에서 飼育되고 있는 外見上 建康하다고 認定된 經産牛 670頭를 對象으로 血液上을 調査 檢討하여 다음과 같은結論을 얻었다. 1. 平均 RBC數의 現實値는 6.06(3.20~9.74)x 10??/㎕이었으나 正常値는 6.35(5.00~8.95)x10??/㎕이었으며 年令의 增加에 따라서 漸漸 減少하는 傾向이 있었다. 2. 平均 Hb量의 現實値는 9.42(5.3~18.4)g/100ml 이었으나 正常値는 10.11(8.0~13.9)g/100ml 이었으며 年令의 增加에 따라서 漸漸 減少하는 傾向이 있었다. 3. 平均 PVC値의 現實値는 31.04(19~55)g/100ml 이었으나 正常値는 32.30(27~42)g/100ml 이었으며 年令의 增加에 따라서 漸漸 減少하는 傾向이 있었다. 4. 平均 MCV의 現實値는 51.22(29.77~86.57) fl 이었으나 50.87(41.56~62.00)fl로 現實値보다 낮았다. 5. 平均 MCH의 現實値는 15.54(8.21~28.96)pg 이었으나 正常値는 15.92(13.00~20.94)pg로 現實値보다 높았다. 6. 平均 MCHC의 現實値는 30.35(17.35~ 53.57)g/100ml이었으나 正常値는 31.30(28.00~36.97)g/100ml로 現實値보다 높았다. 7. 平均 WBC수의 現實値는 10,408(3,200~31,600)/㎕ 이었으나 正常値는 9,233(4,810~14,000)/㎕이었으며 年令의 增加에 따라서 漸漸 減少하는 傾向이 있었다. 8. WBC 감별계수의 正常値는 임파구가 66.00(50~80), 單核球가 3.35(0~9), 好中球가 26.06(10~38), 好酸球가 4.24(0~11)그리고 好鹽基球가 0.35(0~2)% 이었으며 現實値와 비슷하였다. 9. 淋巴球는 年令의 增加에 따라서 漸漸 減少하고 있었으나 單核球와 好中球는 年令의 增加에 따라서 漸漸 減少하고 있었다. 10. 平均 血小板數의 現實値는 243,645(93,000∼57,000)/㎕이었고 正常値는 248,453(116,000~445,000)/㎕으로 現實値와 거의 비슷하였으며 年令別 差異는 認定할 수 없었다. In order to get the normal blood values, blood samples were taken from 670 healthy Holstein cows in Chonnam province. The result obtained in the present experiment are summarized as below. 1. Determined average red blood cell count was 6.06(3.20∼9.74)x 10??/㎕, whereas average red blood cell count obtained from the results in the normal range(normal) was 6.35(5.00∼8.95)x10??/㎕. The red blood cell count tended to decrease with age. 2. Determined average hemoglobin content was 9.42(5.3∼18.4)g/100ml. whereas normal hemoglobin content was 10.11(8.0∼13.9)g/100ml. The hemoglobin content tended to decrease with age. 3. Determined average packed cell volume(PCV) was 31.04(19∼55)g/100ml, while normal PCV was 32.30(27∼42)g/100ml. The PCV appeared to decrease with age. 4. Determined mean corpuscular volume(MCV) was 51.22(29.77~86.57) fl. Normal MCV was 50.87(41.56∼62.00)fl, which was lower than the determined MCV. 5. Determined mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH) was 15.54(8.21∼28.96)pg. Normal MCH was 15.92(13.00∼20.94)pg, which was higher than the determined MCH. 6. Determined mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC)was 30.35(17.35∼ 53.57)g/100ml. Normal MCHC was 31.30(28.00∼36.97)g/100ml, which was higher than the determined MCHC. 7. Determined average white blood cell(WBC) count was 10,408(3,200∼31,600)/㎕, whereas normal WBC count was 9,233(4,810∼14,000)/㎕. The WBC count appeared to decrease with age. 8. In the normal WBC differential count, the values were lymphocyte 66.00(50∼80)%, monocyte 3.35(0∼9)%, neutrophil 26.06(10∼38)%, eosinophil 4.24(0∼11)% and basophil 0.35(0∼2)%, respectively. No differences were found between the determined and normal values. 9. Lymphocyte count tended to decrease with age, while the reverse was the case with monocyte and neutrophil count. 10. Determined average platelet count was 243,645(93,000∼570,000)/㎕, whereas normal platelet count was 248,453(116,000∼445,000)/㎕. The platelet count did not change with age.

This study is prepared to introduce design quality improvement measures by the trend and cause analysis of design changes which have been made during operations of construction project for power plant. In this study, two types of analysis tool have mainly taken for the use of the improvement measures. One tool is the trend analysis to identify which action should be taken to cut down design changes. This is also useful to monitor whether project participant's endeavour for the action taken is effective or not, to the project performance and design quality improvement. The other is the cause analysis, by using cause and effect diagram, which is useful to identify main causes of the design changes and to establish the measures to reduce recurrence of the design changes.

The prevalence of PPNG among pretreated gonorrhoeae cases isolates at the VD clinic of Choong-ku Public Health Center in Seoul has been studied and reported annually since 1981. In 1990, 162 strains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 80 were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul showed increased tendency till 1987, thereafter, it has been stationary.

전립샘에 발생한 원발성 악성 림프종

Primary malignant lymphoma of the prostate is extremely rare. This tumor should be rule out infiltration of lymphoma arising in the other site. We experience a case of diffuse large B-cell type of primary prostatic malignant lymphoma in an 70 year-old male. There is no extra-prostatic involvement III extensive staging work-up. Transrectal prostatic needle biopsy was performed. On microscopic examination, the atypical lymphocytes were diffusely infiltrated and replaced of the prostatic parenchyme. The atypical lymphocytes had scant cytoplasm and large nucleus with irregualr nuclear chromatin. Nucleoli were not distinct. Immunohistochernically, the tumor cells were reactive for LCA, CD20 and kappa light chain, but not reactive for CD3, UCHL-1 and Bcl-2. Histopathologic diagnosis is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the prostate.

暗渠排水에서 Grove의 公式에 關한 考察

Grover's formula had played an important role to develop the theory for descent of the undergroundwater level in the underdrainage. Fall velocity of the underground water level gives a big effect to the cultivation of crops in the wet land. As a result of Grover's theory into pratice, Dr Yamazaki Hujio had found that was a big error. As applicating in experiment plots to Grover's fomula, obtained results are as follows. 1. As you see in the table(1), the result of experiment of Dr Yamazaki Hujio was existent higher value of v than the result of Grover's fomula. The result of fomula(Yc=127e-0.0496t) which resolved to apply a big value of v is existent a calculation mistake. it has been found a phenomenon that the water go not down into the underground, conversely going up. 2. As you see in the table(1),(2),(3) compared with Grover's fomula(1),(2) the value of y_c is a big error in regard to the value of t. 3. As you see in the table(3), (4) the result of applicating in my experiment plots, Grover's fomula is approximate with regard to the actual value.
