        감자의 가공품질에 영향을 미치는 토양 및 기상조건

        감자의 가공품질에 영향을 미치는 토양 및 기상조건을 구명하기 위하여 국내 주요 감자재배 지역 7곳에 1994년부터 1995년까지 2년에 걸쳐 각 지역별 2~3개 농가에서 감자를 재배하였으며, 각 재배포장의 토양시료 채취 및 괴경을 수확하였다. 지역별 감자 괴경의 가공품질 차이의 원인을 구명키 위하여 토양분석과 수확일 기준으로 수확전 70~10일 사이의 기상조건을 10일 간격으로 조사하였으며, 수확된 괴경의 가공품질과 이들 요인과의 상관계수를 계산하였다. 시험결과 감자의 가공품질은 토양의 화학적 특성 중에서 토양내 유기물함량과 높은 상관계수를 보였다. 또한 기상조건과 관련하여 수확전 30~10일 사이의 최저온도가 낮으며, 일조시간이 많을수록 감자의 가공품질이 향상되었다. 또한 이들 상관관계가 높은 요인들을 대상으로 가공품질 요인에 대한 다중회귀식을 구한 결과 괴경건물율과 칩색도는 비교적 높은 결정계수를 보여주었다. 따라서 우리나라에서 고품질의 가공원료 생산을 위한 적지 선정에 있어 토양중의 유기물 함량과 그 지역의 최저온도 및 일조시간 둥이 고려되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. In order to examine the difference in processing quality of potato tubers among localities, chemical properties of soils were analyzed and climatic conditions were investigated. potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L) were grow at seven localities of Korea during two years from 1994 to 1995. Soil samples and tubers were obtained from 2 to 3 commercial farms per locality with 10 days interval from 70 days before harvesting. As the result of that, higher correlation in processing quality was found with organic material content among soil conditions. On the climatic conditions, minimum temperature and sunshine hours during the period from 30 to 11 days before harvesting exhibited highly significant negative correlations with all quality parameters except reducing sugar content. Additionally, regression equations based on the observed level of these factors showed the relatively high coefficients of determination for dry matter content and chip color. To produce higher quality potatoes for processing, therefore, climatic conditions such as minimum temperature and sunshine hour and soil condition such as organic matter content have to be considered before the selection of areas or fields.

        Tracheobronchopathia osteoplastica is a rare disorder of unknown cause characterized by the projection of numerous bony or cartilaginous submucosal nodules into the tracheobronchial lumen with sparing of the posterior membranous portion of tracheobronchial tree. In the past, most of the cases were diagnosed as secondary finding at autopsy. Nowaday, the key component of the evaluation is flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy and bronchoscopy, which typically demonstrates irregular spicules of subrnucosal bone and cartilage projecting into the tracheobronchial lumen and causing various degrees of airway obstruction. A 45 years old man was visited Sunchon St. Carollo hospital due to discomfort on throat. We saw several nodules just below vocal cord via laryngoscope. The computed tomography revealed multiple small calcified nqdules on trachea and both main bronchi. Pathologic finding of bronchoscopic biopsy showed abnormal proliferation of bony and cartilagious nodules in the tracheal submucosa. These fingdings were consistent with tracheobronchopathia osteoplastica. We report here on a case of tracheobronchopathia osteoplastica with review of literature.

        The purpose of this study was to offer gymnasts data for successfully performing triple back somersault dismount(TBSD) and for designing training programs to progress gymnasts to the advanced dismount skills from the horizontal bar through comparative analysis of selected biomechanical factors of single back somersault dismount(SBSD), double back somersault dismount(DBSD) and TBSD. The subjects employed were a total of 4 male middle and high school gymnasts aged between 15 and 16 years. A motion-picture camera, fliming at a nominal rate of 54 frames/s, was used to record the performance of subjects on each trial. This camera was placed at a distance of 15 m from the inward pole of horizontal bar with its optical axis at right angle to this pole. The results obtained are summarized as follows: The mean release angle was 80.5° for the SBSD, 77.3° for the DBSD and 71.3° for TBSD. There were significant differences between the SBSD and the TBSD(p<0.01), the DBSD and the TBSD(p<0.05) but no significant difference between the SBSD and the DBSD. The angular velocity at release was 4.533 ㎭/s for the SBSD, 5.338 ㎭/s for the DBSD and 6.020 ㎭/s for the TBSD. There was a significant difference among these velocities(p<0.05, p<0.01). The linear velocity at release was 5.458m/s for the SBSD, 5.750m/s for the DBSD and 6.083m/s for the TBSD. In this case, we had a significant difference only between the SBSD and the other two somersaults(p<0.05, p<0.01). The shoulder angle at release was 170.5° for the SBSD, 167.0° for the DBSD and 154.3° for the TBSD. There were significant differences between the SBSD and the TBSD(p<0.05), the DBSD and the TBSD(p<0.05) but no significant difference between the DBSD and the TBSD. The hip and knee angle at release were increased respectively by increasing the number of somersault but showed no significant difference among these angles. The mean flight time from release to landing for each somersault was calculated; it took the subjects 1.315s to perform the SBSD, 1.345s to perform the DBSD and 1.416s to perform the TBSD. There was a significant difference among these somersaults with respect to time(p<0.05, p<0.01). The mean maximum height was 3,633m for the SBSD, 3,720m for the DBSD and 3,780m for the TBSD. There was a significant difference only between the SBSD and the other two somersaults. The mean horizontal distance was decreased respectively by increasing the number of somersault but showed no significant difference among these somersaults with respect to distance. The smallest hip angle during flight in the SBSD was 115.3° at 0.317s after the subject left the bar, for the DBSD it was 48.2° at 0.621s while that of the TBSD was 32.3° at 1,102s after release. The relationship between the time the smallest hip angle observed and the total flight time was determined; it took 24.1% of the total flight time of the SBSD to reach the smallest hip angle. In the DBSD, it took 46.2% of the total flight time to reach for the smallest hip angle and in the TBSD 77.8% of the total flight time to reach the smallest hip angle. From the above results, the gymnast would need to (1) increase angular velocity before release by manipulating of body shape, (2) change the release angle and (3) stay tuck position longer by shortening as quickly as possible the angle of each body joint to perform successfully the TBSD. Also to be able to perform quadruple back somersault dismount, a gymnast would need flight time of a minimum 1,782s.

        타타늄의 열처리 조건에 따른 동전위 양극분극특성 및 표면 미세구조 변화

        The corrosion resistance of metallic implants is essential for successful implant osseointegration. Moreover, the implant surface should have appropriate surface roughness for the attachment of the osteoblast and collagen fibrils. When titanium is exposed to air a thermodynamically very stable oxide film is formed at once. This oxide is very thin and yet it protects the metal from corrosion instantaneously. However, the oxide would not be ideal, and it would be supposed that the state of oxide film would be various by the different conditions when it is formed. The objective of this study was to evaluate the electrochemical properties and surface microstructural changes of titanium after passivation treatment or exposure to high heat (in vacuum or in air). ASTM grade 2 commercially pure titanium (Ti) disks of 10㎜ diameter were wet ground and polished with 240 and 600 grit SiC, and then ultrasonically cleaned with distilled water and ethanol. Cleansed as-received samples (As-R group) were passivated with 30% nitric acid solution at 50℃ for 15 minutes to make the Pas group. The Std-V samples were made by treating the Ti disks in vacuum quartz tube (10^-8 Torr) at 530℃ for 40 min for stress relieving, followed by annealing at 700℃ for 90 min, and then slow cooling to room temperature. The Std-A samples undergo identical procedure as the Std-V group except that it is done in air. For 530℃-V samples, Ti disks were heated at 530℃ for 40 minutes and slow cooled to room temperature. The 1000℃-V samples were produced by heating Std-V specimens again at 1000℃ for 2 hr, followed by cooling to room temperature. 530℃-A and 1000℃-A samples were also prepared. Potentiodynamic anodic polarization measurement, SEM, AFM and XRD analysis were performed to evaluate the effects of the various treatments. The difference in the mean values of E_corr between groups showed statistically significant difference (P<0.05), but that of I_corr did not show significance (P>0.05). When Ti surface was passivated there was a shift of corrosion potential (E_corr) in the noble direction and a lower corrosion current density (I_corr) value. Std-A samples showed most noble E_corr value among the tested groups. 530℃-V samples showed more noble E-corr than other tested groups except Std-A group. 1000℃-V samples showed more noble E-corr than those of Std-V sample. In the case of Std-, 530℃- and 1000℃-groups, -A sub-groups showed better corrosion resistant characteristics than -V sub-groups in regard to E-corr and I_corr values. In the SEM observations, the surfaces of the As-R samples showed only scratch line on smooth surface. In Pas samples, thick oxide layer covered the surface under high magnification observation. 530℃-A samples were covered by oxide granules, and Std-A samples had 25~50 nm-thick acicular oxides. The 1000℃-A samples were covered by coarse oxide crystals with a granule diameter of 0.1~0.6 μm having a gross appearance of milky white color, which was identified by XRD as a rutile. On the other hand, 1000℃-V samples showed an Widmansta¨tten structrue of which the orientation of the lattice is formed along crystallographic planes of the parent crystals. On the AFM observation, 530℃-A samples showed RMS roughness of 79.38 nm which is 5 times rougher than those of the As-R samples. Std-A sample had a roughness of 330.47 nm which is about 20-times rougher than that of the As-R sample. 1000℃-A samples were covered by coarse granular oxides and the roughness were about 0.56 μm. Vacuum sub-group samples showed a more smooth surface than air sub-group samples, and the oxide film was more dense. Due to variability of the surface treatment and heat treatment conditions, the process of the oxide formation seems to be affected thereby making the corrosion properties and surface micro-morphology different. However, more various electrochemical analysis together with surface analysis, and an investigation for the effects of those on the osteoblast cell adhesion and calcium phosphate apposition are needed for the improvement of the osseointegration rates of the titanium implants.

        cAMP 농도에 영향을 미치는 수종약물이 파골세포형성에 미치는 영향

        To study the effect of cAMP on the generation of osteoclasts from their precursor cells, the bone marrow cells were isolated from 7 to 9 week-old male mice. The femur and tibia were dissected aseptically and the marrow cavity was flushed with 1 ㎖ of α-minimum essential medium by slow injection. Collected marrow cells were cultured at 1.5-2.0×10^6 cells/well in 24-well plate for 8 days. In experimental group, PGE_2(5×10^-6, 10^-5M), forskolin(10^-5M) or IBMX(10^-4, 10^-5M) were added singly or in combination from the 1st day culture. After cultures, staining for tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase(TRACP)-marker enzyme of osteoclast-was performed according to the modified method of Burstone. The TRACP-positive multinucleated cells(MNC), which have 3 or more nuclei, were counted. The observed results were as follows. 1. In control group. TRACP-positive mononuclear cells were present, but no TRACP-positive multinucleated cells appeared. 2. PGE_2(5×10^-6M) or forskolin(10^-5M) significantly stimulated the formation of TRACP-positive MNC. Moreover, forskolin potentiated the TRACP-positive MNC formation induced by PGE_2 when added simultaneously. 3. IBMX(10^-4, 10^-5M), when added alone, significantly stimulated the formation of TRACP-positive MNC. However, IBMX(10^-5M) added in combination of PGE_2(10^-5M) partially inhibited the TRACP-positive MNC formation induced by PGE_2.

      • 절삭력 최적화를 위한 이송속도 제어 시스템에 관한 연구

        Studies on the optimization of machining process can be divided into two different approaches: off-line feedrate scheduling and adaptive control. Each approach possesses its respective strong and weak points compared to each other. That is, each system can be complementary to the other. In this regard, a combined system, which is a feedrate control system for cutting force optimization, was proposed in this paper to make the best of each approach. Experimental results show that the proposed system could overcome the weak points of two systems.

      • Rifampicin에 의한 것으로 추정되는 위막성 대장염1예

        Pseudomembranous colitis, caused by altering the normal colonic flora and allowing the multiplication of Clostridium difficile, is an deleterious adverse effect of antibiotics. But it is rarely reported by rifampicin. Rifampicin is one of the first line drug in the treatment of tuberculosis and many patients are exposed to its potential adverse effects. We experienced a patient that had abdominal discomfort and hematochezia due to pseudomembranous colitis after receiving antituberculous medication, and which was probably caused by rifampicin. A 82 years old man was admitted with abdominal discomfort and hematochezia for one week. On the past history he had been diagnosed as endobronchial tuberculosis about 4 months ago. Colonoscopy revealed multiple discrete whitish mucosal lesion on rectosigmoid colon, and histologic findings were consistent with pseudomembranous colitis. The antituberculous agents were discontinued and vancomycin was administered. The patient's symptoms were resolved within several days. There was no recurrence after reinstitution of the antituberculous agents excluding rifampicin. We report here on a case of pseudomembranous colitis probably due to rifampicin.

        불량행위 청소년의 가족 폭행에 관한 사회 정신의학적 고찰(Ⅳ)

        연구목적: 이 연구는 청소년의 가족 폭행에 대하여 조사하고 가족폭행의 관점에서 불량행위 청소년의 특성을 규명하고자 하였다. 방 법: 저자들은 불량행위 청소년 238명, 범죄 청소년 209명, 그리고 부산시대 고등학교 학생 230명을 대상으로 설문지, 다면적 인성 검사(Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory), 그리고 한국판 부모-자녀 결합도 검사(Parental Bonding Instrument0 등의 도구를 사용하여 조사하였고, 그것으로 세집단을 Chi-square test, T-test, 그리고 ANOVA를 사용하여 비교 분석하였다. 결 과: 대개의 경우 불량행위 청소년의 사회경제적인 상태가 학생군보다 더 불량하였고, 범죄군보다는 더 양호하였다.(p<.05) 일반적으로 폭행가해자들은 손위형제였고, 신체적으로도 피해자보다 더 강했고, 형제간의 우애는 좋지 않았다. 학생군과 비교할 때 존속에 대한 폭행을 포함한 폭행의 심각성은 불량행위 청소년과 범죄 청소년에서 존재하고 있었다. 다면적 인성검사와 부모-자녀 결합도 검사의 결과, 가족폭행군과 비폭행군을 비교할 때, 불량행위 청소년군의 경우에는 Sc척도와 Passive aggresive index에서 학생군의 경우에는 아버지 과보호에서 의미있는 차이를 보였지만 그외의 척도에서는 의미있는 차이를 찾을 수가 없었다. 결 론: 일반적으로 가족폭행의 특성으로도 기존의 사회 정신의학적 고찰의 결과와 같이 불량행위 청소년군이 학생군과 범죄청소년군의 중간특성을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 가족 폭행 문제의 심화를 막기 위하여 이 집단에 대한 적절한 개입이 필요할 것으로 생각되어진다. Objectives : This research was performed to identify family violence by male adolescents, and to examine the characteristics of male adolescent delinquents in terms of domestic violence. Methods : We surveyed 677 male adolescents including 238 delinquents from BBS(Big brothers and sisters) in Pusan, 209 criminal adolescents from adolescent correctional institution in Pusan, 230 high school students through questionnaire, MMPI(Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory), and PBI(Parental Bonding Instrument), and then compared these three groups by Chi-square test, T-test, and Anova. Results : In most cases, male delinquent adolescents were placed in poorer socio-economic conditions than those of students, but in better socio-economic conditions than those of criminal adolescents. In general, the assaulters were senior family members, physically stronger than sufferers, and have bad brotherliness. Compared with normal students, the serious problem of violence including violence to the ancestors in delinquent and criminal adolescents. On results of MMPI and PBI test, there were significant difference between violent group and non-violent group on the Sc score and Passive aggressive index in adolescent delinquents and parental overprotection in normal students. Conclusion : Generally the characteristics of family violence by male delinquent adolescents were intermediate between those of criminal adolescent and students, these results were same as those of previous socio-psychiatric study, and so the intervention in criminal adolescents is needed for the prevention of family violence.

        GC/NPD를 이용한 다성분 잔류농약의 동시분석

        Pesticides were extracted from samples with 70% acetone and methylene chloride in order, and then cleaned up via open-column chromatography apparatus packed with fiorisil, and finally analyzed simultaneously the organophosphorus pesticides using GC/NPD, Ultra-2 and Ultra-1 fused silica capillary columns were used to separate and identify the products. Recovery of most analytes from soybean sample, taken from pesticide residues well, was greater than(80%) for all except(6) analytes. This method can simultaneously determine multiple pesticides with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
