Anteroposterior radiographs of lower extremity of thirty normal males were obtained to assess the lower extremity axial alignment. The radiographs included the entire lower extremity with tbe volunteers one-legged standing and two-legged standing separately These radiographs were analyzed by drawing points, lines, and angles and measuring the relationship. The estimated distribution of joint loading obtained from one legged standing radiographs was compared with the from two legged standing radiographs. The radiographic analysis led to the following results: 1. The angle at the knee between the femoral and tibial mechanical axis was a mean fo 177.3 ± 2.5 (right) and 177.5 ± 2.8 (left). 2. The mean angle of the tibial mechanical axis transecting the knee transverse axis was 4.2 ± 1.7 degrees (right and 3.8 ± 2.0 degrees (left) of varus alignment. 3. The mean angle of the femoral mechanical axia transecting the line tangent to the distal femal condyles was 3.2 ± 2.0 degrees (right) and 3.3 ± 1.8 (left) of valgus alignment. 4. The line drawn down the shaft of the femur, commonly thought of as the femoral anatomical axis, actually intersected with the femoral mechanical axis in the supracondylar region of the femur. 5. The mechanical axis of the right lower extremity, that is a line from the center of the femoral head to the center of the ankle, passed mean 9.9 ± 2.62 mm medial to the knee center in two-legged standing radiographs and mean 14.1 ± 2.82 mm in one- legged standing radiographs.

필자는 야훼의 성전에서 이방제의 물질을 제거하고 정화하는 요시야의 성전 정화 개혁 본문인 열왕기하 23장 4, 6-7절에 대한 어휘와 언어에 대한 연구와 주석을 통해 이 본문의 역사를 추적하며, 드 베테(de Wette) 이후 제기된 학계 주장의 타당성을 살핀다. 일부 학자는 이 본문을 Dtr1의 편집층으로 간주하고, 일부는 이 본문을 DtrH의 편집층으로 보기도 한다. 필자는 이 연구를 통해 아세라 상을 성전에서 제거해 예루살렘 밖 기드론 시내에 버리는 6a 절이 가장 초기 자료임을 밝힌다. 이 연구에서 필자는 4abα절, 6b절, 7절은 신명기적 편집(deuteronomic redaction) 층으로, 이 성전 정화 이야기를 예루살렘 성전에서 이방 제의 요소를 철저히 제거하는 방향으로 발전시킨 것임을 밝힌다. 필자는 특히 이 본문에 나타나는 ‘대제사장,’‘부제사장들,’‘문을 지키는 자들,’‘여호와의 성전,’‘기드론 밭’등의 용어와 예레미야서와의 관계, 용어의 시대적 배경 등에 대한 연구를 통해 신명기적 편집과 예레미야의 관계에 대해 밝힌다. 필자는 끝으로 후기 신명기적 편집(post-deuteronomic redaction)자가 4bβ절에서 예루살렘에서 진행된 요시야의 개혁에 대한 진술(왕하 23:4-14)을 벧엘에서 진행된 개혁 보도(왕하 23:15-20)와 연결하기 위해 노력하고 있음을 밝힌다. Since de Wette, the relationship between 2 Kings 22-23 which is King Josiah’s reform report and Deuteronomy has been one of the main topics of modern Old Testament study. There have been various arguments on the textual history of King Josiah’s Temple Purification report in 2 Kings 23: 4, 6-7 which is King Josiah’s first reform report. Some regards this part as Dtr1 redaction, others as DtrH. In this study, the writer traces the textual and literary history of this report through etymological, lexical, and exegetic analysis. Through this study, the writer reveals that v. 6a which describes the removal of Asherah from the temple and its cast outside Jerusalem at the brook Kidron belongs to the primary material of Josiah’s reform portraying the purification of the temple. The writer finally reveals that to those older material, deuteronomic redactional layer like 4abα, 6b, 7 and post-deuteronomic layer like 4bβ gradually added. The writer especially pays attention to some terminologies such as ‘the high priest’, ‘the priests of the second order’, ‘the keepers of the threshhold’, ‘the temple of Yahweh’, ‘the fields of the Kidron’, and the relationship between this text and the book of Jeremiah, and the relationship between Deuteronomic redaction and Jeremiah.
