      • 시뮬레이션에 의한 저음재생용 소형스피커의 개발

        This paper describes the study for the development of a 80㎜ low frequency sound speaker for the multimedia devices that has 80Hz basic resonance frequency and a pretty good ability to reproduce sounds efficiently in low frequency range even thought it is a compact sized speaker. This speaker has been changed by voice coil, magnet structures, diaphragm supporting structures and the shape of damper using theoretical simulation. As a result, the low frequency sound speaker has the characterization of a 80Hz basic resonance frequency.

      • 숯첨가 사료투여가 넙치의 면역반응에 미치는 영향

        숯첨가 사료 투여가 넙치에 미치는 영향을 알기 위하여, 넙치에 숯 1%, 3%, 5% 첨가사료를 8주간 투여하면서 성장, 혈액성분, 비특이적면역능을 분석하였으며 어병세균인 Edwardsiella tarda 균의 공격 시험에 대한 방어능을 조사하였다. 숯 첨가 사료 투여는 넙치의 성장과 라이소자임 활성에서는 유의적인 차이를 나타내지 못했지만, 5% 숯첨가구에서 혈액 중의 total protein과 cholesterol의 농도가 대조구에 비하여 낮게 나타났다. 그리고, 숯 3% 첨가구에서 두신 식세포의 활성 및 병원성 세균인 E. tarda에 대한 방어능도 가장 높게 나타났다. The charcoal effects on the immune responses of flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus were studied. Fish were fed an experimental diet supplemented with 1%, 3% or 5% of charcoal to a commercial diet. Several factors such as weight gain, hematological parameters, nonspecific immune responses and resistance against Edwardsiella tarda were evaluated 4 and 8 weeks after the administraion. The changes of body weight and lysozyme activities were not signigicant among tested groups. But cholesterol and total protein concentration in the blood were significantly lower in the 5% supplemented group than in the control. The production of superoxide by macrophage from the head kidney, examined by NBT reduction, was significantly higher in the 3% charcoal supplemented groups than in the control. The survival rate after an artificial challenge with 1×10^exp(7) cells of E. tarda per fish was significantly the highest in the 3% charcoal supplemented group.

      • 마우스 대장암 모델 구축 및 항암제 활성 평가를 위한 예비 연구

        Abstract – Aberrant crypt foci (ACF) are early imorphological changes observed in rodents after administration of colon-specific carcinogen such as azoxymethane (AOM). ACF are considered to be putative preneoplastic lesions and are widely used as a surrogate biomarker to rapidly evaluate chemopreventive potential of compounds. The size of colorectal cancer was evaluated after administration of three anticancer drugs, 1 parent drug and 2 prodrugs. The body weights of mice were measured daily and considered as a surrogate for evaluation of general wellbeing. Colons were removed, cut along the longitudinal axis and flushed with phosphate-buffered saline. Each colon was cut into three equal lengths and fixed flat between filter papers. The fixed colon sections were stained with methylene blue. The number of ACF per colon, the number of aberrant crypts observed in each focus and the location of each focus were recorded. After single administration of AOM and multiple doses of anticancer drugs, no significant changes in the body weights of the mice was observed which was recorded for 52 days. However, an expected ACF was not observed in any treated groups. These findings suggest the induction of ACF in mice requires the promotion by dextran sulfate sodium as well as the initiation by AOM.

      • 구강점막 부착용 케토프로펜 고분자 필름의 제조 및 평가

        Abstract – The objective of this study was to prepare ketoprofen-loaded buccal adhesive patch. The adhesive patch was formulated by casting method using aqueous soluble polymer povidone K17 (PVP 17PF) as film-forming agent and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) as adhesive agent. To compare the effect of HPMC type, different molecular weight of K4M and K15M HPMC was used. The physicochemical properties of patches such as appearance, thickness, in vitro release, and adhesiveness were investigated. The concentration of ketoprofen was determined spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 233 nm. The appearance of prepared patches was semi-transparent, light-yellow or almost colorless, and odorless. Thickness of each patches (n=6) was 0.895 ± 0.033 mm for K4M patch and 0.727 ± 0.036 mm for K15M patch. In vitro release test, both K4M and K15M patches showed over 20% release within 30 min. At 120 min, K4M and K15M patches demonstrated 95% and 67.5% release of ketoprofen, respectively, and up to 240 min, both patches released drug completely. Maximum adhesive force of K4M and K15M patches was 6.571 ± 2.703 gf and 2.735 ± 1.151 gf, respectively. Moreover, it took 28.29 ± 0.38 sec and 28.30 ± 0.34 sec for K4M and K15M patch to peel off them after adhesion, showing no significant difference. In conclusion, thickness, in vitro release, and maximum adhesive force could be modulated by alteration of polymer types.

      • 하루 콩단백질 25g 섭취를 위한 메뉴작성 및 영양성분 분석

        The purpose of this study was to develop menus for daily intake of 25g soybean protein and to analyse nutrients of these foods. Analytical values were compared to the theoretical one using the food composition table and recommended dietary allowances for Koreans (7th revision). The results are as follows. 1. Soybean curd residue stew, Soybean curd, Kimchi saute, and hard boiled soybean and lotus root were selected for the menu for January, of which the content of soy bean protein(SBP) was 33.1g, soybean stew, soybean curd and soybean sprout saute, and Italian deep fried soybean curd were for February, of which the content of SBP was 35.0g. The content of SBP in soybean paste soup with soybean curd, fried soybean curd and fried soybean curd roll, the menu for March, was 24.9g. That of April were soybean curd gratin with soymilk, soybean curd and ham with garlic dressing and the content of SBP was 26.3g. That of May were soybean porridge, soybean flour cake with honey (Dasik), soybean sprout soup and the content of SBP was 26.7g. That of June were soymilk, pan-fried soybean curd, steamed soybean curd with chicken and the content of SBP was 28.4g. That of July were noodle with soymilk, mapatofu, soybean curd salad and the content of SBP was 24.7g. That of August were soybean sprout with mustard dressing, Tossed green pepper with raw soybean flour, Tofu and Kimchi stew, soybean curd steak and the content of SBP was 26.2g. That of September were Chinese cabbage soup with raw soybean flour, sweet and sour tofu and the content of SBP was 23.2g. That of Oct. were Fermented soybean stew, soybean pan cake and the content of SBP was 24.3g. That of November were not-pressed soybean curd casserole, pan-fried mashed soybean curd with egg, stir frying deep-fried soybean curd with vegetables and the content of SBP was 22.4g. That of December were soybean curd and mushroom casserole, fried soybean curd and vegetables, hard boiled soybean curd and the content of SBP was 28.9g. 2. The ratio of the analytical value over theoretical value (A/B%) of one serving in kcal, carbohydrate, protein, fat, ash and dietary fiber were 57.7~107.7%, 42.9~131.9%, 79.2~118.3%, 54.5~100%, 40.7~80.8% and 42.1~113.2%, respectively. 3. The ratio of A/B% of one serving in Ca, K, Na, P and Fe were 44.1~93.6%, 59.0~153.1%, 53.1~117.7% 64.6%~138.8 and 33.8~77.3%, respectively. That in Fe was the lowest among minerals. 4. The ratio of analytical value over Korean R.D.A(A/C%) in Ca was relatively higher (22.0~85.9%) than that in kcal(18~63%). 5. The ratio of A/C% in Fe was 25.1~64.3% and lower than that in Ca and protein in general.

        Lipoxygenase Inhibitory Activity of Korean Indigenous Mushroom Extracts and Isolation of an Active Compound from Phellinus baumii

        We investigated a total of 335 samples of Korean native mushroom extracts as part of our lipoxygenase (LOX) inhibitor screening program. Among the mushroom-methanolic extracts we investigated, 35 exhibited an inhibitory activity greater than 30% against LOX at a concentration of 100 ${\mu}g/mL$. Especially, Collybia maculata, Tylopilus neofelleus, Strobilomyces confusus, Phellinus gilvus, P. linteus, P. baumii, and Inonotus mikadoi exhibited relatively potent LOX inhibitory activities of 73.3%, 51.6%, 52.4%, 66.7%, 59.5%, 100.0%, and 85.2%, respectively. Bioassay-guided fractionation led to the isolation of inoscavin A from the methanolic extract of P. baumii, which showed the most potent activity and was identified by spectroscopic methods. Specifically, inoscavin A exhibited potent LOX inhibitory activity with an $IC_{50}$ value of $6.8{\mu}M$.

      • Growth of carbon nanotubes by microwave plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition at low temperature

        Carbon nanotubes have been grown on Ni-coated Si substrates by microwave plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition with a mixture of methane and hydrogen gases at temperatures ranging from 520 to 700℃. The density and the length of carbon nanotubes increased with increasing growth temperature. At growth temperature of 520℃, carbon nanotubes were curly, whereas the nanotubes were straight and self-aligned upward at temperatures above 600℃. Images of high-resolution transmission electron microscope showed that nanotubes were multiwalled with a few wall-structures. The graphitized structures were also confirmed by Raman spectra. We show that the size of Ni domains on Si substrates is correlated to the diameters of the grown carbon nanotubes.

        한국의 정상 성인과 만성신부전 환자에서 신피질 두께의 측정

        배 경 : 신피질 두께는 다양한 선장 질환의 진단에 유용하게 이용되고 있으나 정상 수치에 대해서는 잘 알려져 있지 않다. 이에 초음파로 한국의 정상 성인과 신대체 요법 시행 전의 만성신부전 환자에서 신피질의 두께를 측정하여 정상수치를 확인하고, 비가역적인 신부전 상태와 구별되는 신피질의 두께를 제시할 수 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 건강 검진에서 이상이 없는 243명의 성인과 혈중 크례아티닌이 4 ㎎/dL 이하인 57명의 만성신부전 환자에서 초음파로 신피질의 두께를 측정 하였고, 만성신부전 환자들은 Cockcroft-Gault 공식을 이용하여 크레아티닌 청소율을 계산하였다. 결 과 : 정상 성인에서 신피질의 두께가 남자는 0.74±0.15 ㎝, 여자는 0.69±0.13 ㎝로 남자의 평균치가 컸고 (p<0.005), 좌우로 나누어 보면 좌측이 0.76±0.14 ㎝, 우측이 0.67±0.13 ㎝로 좌측의 평균치가 컸으며 (p<0.005), 남녀와 좌우 구분 없이 계산하면 0.72±0.14 ㎝로 측정되었다. 만성신부전 환자를 당뇨군과 비당뇨군으로 나누어 비교할 때 신피질 두께의 차이는 없었고, 비당뇨군 환자를 크레아티닌 청소율 (Ccr) 30 mL/min을 기준으로 나누어 비교하면 <30 mL/min는 0.630.10 ㎝>30 mL/min는 0.79±0.11 ㎝로 차이를 보였다 (p<0.001). 결 론 : 한국 정상 성인에서 신피질의 두께는 평균 0.72±0.14 ㎝ (0.41-1.25)로 측정되었고, 신부전 환자에서 대략 0.72 ㎝를 경계로 Ccr 30 mL/min 전후가 구분되어짐을 알 수 있었으나, 정상 수치의 범위가 넓고 크레아티닌 청소율이 30 mL/min 이상인 신부전 상태에서는 신피질의 두께가 정상 수치를 보이므로, 신부전 환자의 진단 및 치료를 결정할 때에는 임상적인 상황과 신장 조직 검사 같은 침습적 방법을 고려해야 한다. Background : The thickness of the renal cortex is useful in all aspects of nephrology but no normal range has been established. Therefore, we investigated the renal cortex thickness by ultrasonography in normal Korean adults and chronic renal failure (CRF) patients before renal replacement therapy. For the purpose of evaluating the normal range then, we are going to predict the threshold range of cortex thickness in irreversible renal failure status. Methods : In 243 healthy Korean adults and 57 CRF patients with the creatinine level, ≤4 mg/dL were measured the renal cortex thickness. Creatinine clearance was calculated on the basis of the Cock-croft-Gault formula. Results : In normal adults, the difference between male and female was 0.74±0.15 cm, 0.69±0.13 cm respectively, male was greater than female (p<0.005) and the average value of the left and right renal cortex thickness was 0.76±0.14 cm, 0.67±0.13 cm, the left kidney was greater than right one (p<0.005). The combined average value of the left and right renal cortex was 0.72±0.14 cm. In CRF patients, There was no difference of cortex thickness between diabetes patients and non diabetes but in non diabetes patients, the difference between Ccr <30 mL/min and Ccr ≥30 mL/min was 0.63±0.10 cm, 0.79±0.11 cm (p<0.00l). Conclusion : The overall mean of cortex thickness in korean normal adults was 0.72±0.14 cm (0.41-1.25) and approximately, a threshold of 0.72 cm was identified for the cortex thickness that allowed us to distinguish Ccr <30 mL/min from Ccr ≥30 mL/min in CRF patients. But the cortex thickness alone is not a sufficient marker to predict reversibility. We should consider other invasive procedure such as kidney biopsy.
