The production of hydrogen fuel depends basically on the water electrolysis. The ultrasonic effects the decrease of the overpotential in a water electrolysis. The study on the overpotential which activates the hydrogen production is the core to elevate the hydrogen production efficiency on the principle. A pressure sensor system by new ideas is developed and applied. Solutions are 4 kinds of KOH concentration such as 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%. Two frequency bands of the ultrasonic transducer are 28㎑ and 2㎑. Characteristics of hydrogen production quantity according to the change of temperature with ultrasonic forcing are investigated and examined.

The objective of this study is to investigate characteristics of flow by the rod shape and the choice of the turbulent intensity enhancement section. The rod was set up vertically to the way of a nozzle exit flow and the nozzle diameter is 17mm. The rod height is 5mm and the shapes of rod are square, triangle, and circle. Characteristics of fluid such as velocity vector distribution, kinetic energy, turbulent intensity, and etc. were visualized, observed, and considered at 3 kinds of Re No. such as Re=2000, 3000, 4000. Temperature of water is 20℃ and the measurement region is divided by 3 section( Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ). The nozzle diameter is 17mm.<br/> As the experimental result by PlV measurement, the scale of the vector profile showed a tendency to an unbalance parabola distribution as increasing of the Re No. The impinging plates are set up as each shape of spuare, triangle, and circle in front of the flow accelerated. The rod shape in the case of the highest velocity vector is a circle shape and the rod shape in the case of the highest turbulent intensity is a square shape.
Streptococcus sp. 기원의 Protease를 이용한 Casein Phosphopeptides의 생산

칼슘의 불용성화를 저해하는 casein phosphopeptides(CPP)를 제조하기 위하여 sodium caseinate를 기질로 하여 기존의 trypsin과는 다른 Streptococcus sp.로부터 생성된 조효소를 사용하여 최적생성조건, 생산수율 및 그 특징을 검토하였다. 최적조건은 기질농도 10%에서 조효소 사용량 1.5%, 반응온도 50℃, pH 8.0 및 반응시간 4시간으로서, 이때의 CPP 생성율은 23%였다. 또한, CPP의 분자량은 3,000∼17,000으로 확인되었으며, in vitro에서 칼슘양에 대하여 1.5배의 사용으로 칼슘의 불용성화를 방지할 수 있었다. For the production of Casein Phosphopeptides(CPP) inhibiting the insolubility of calcium, 10% sodium caseinate was treated with 1.5% of protease from Streptococcus sp.. Optimal conditions and productivity for the CPP production, and properties of the CPP were compared with tryptic hydrolysates of sodium caseinate. Optimum conditions of pH, temperature and reaction time were 8.0, 50℃, 4 hrs, respectively. Under these conditions the productivity of CPP was 23% and Molecular weight of CPP was ranged from 3,000 to 17,000. The results also showed that the insolubility of calcium was completely inhibited by using 1.5 times of CPP for the amount of calcium.
Time-variant reproductive number of COVID-19 in Seoul, Korea

OBJECTIVES: To estimate time-variant reproductive number (Rt) of coronavirus disease 19 based on either number of daily confirmed cases or their onset date to monitor effectiveness of quarantine policies. METHODS: Using number of daily confirmed cases from January 23, 2020 to March 22, 2020 and their symptom onset date from the official website of the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the district office, we calculated Rt using program R’s package “EpiEstim”. For asymptomatic cases, their symptom onset date was considered as -2, -1, 0, +1, and +2 days of confirmed date. RESULTS: Based on the information of 313 confirmed cases, the epidemic curve was shaped like ‘propagated epidemic curve’. The daily Rt based on Rt_c peaked to 2.6 on February 20, 2020, then showed decreased trend and became <1.0 from March 3, 2020. Comparing both Rt from Rt_c and from the number of daily onset cases, we found that the pattern of changes was similar, although the variation of Rt was greater when using Rt_c. When we changed assumed onset date for asymptotic cases (-2 days to +2 days of the confirmed date), the results were comparable. CONCLUSIONS: Rt can be estimated based on Rt_c which is available from daily report of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Estimation of Rt would be useful to continuously monitor the effectiveness of the quarantine policy at the city and province levels.
