        The Effect of Gender Sensitivity for Self-Esteem and Protection and Convergence on Appearance Recognition Behavior of Women in Their 20s

        Purpose: Unlike in the past, the modern women have destroyed the frame of stereotypes that women must be feminine and men must be masculine through their own arguments and active actions. This has resulted in changes in the women’s self-esteem as their independent tendencies have strengthened due to changes in ste-reotypes about their roles and the women's advancement into society. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of self-esteem and gender sensitivity on the appearance recognition behavior of women in their 20s. Method: The questionnaire items for scale development of the study were used for the women in their 20s for empirical research. The composition of the questionnaire consisted of self-esteem, gender sensitivity, appearance recognition behavior, and demographic variables. A stepwise multiple regression analysis was conducted to in-vestigate the relationship between demographic variables, self-esteem, gender sensitivity, and appearance recognition behavior. Results: First, as a result of analyzing the effect of self-esteem on gender sensitivity, it turned out that positive self-esteem had a positively significant effect on gender sensitivity, and negative self-esteem had a negatively significant effect on gender sensitivity. Second, as a result of analyzing the effect of gender sensitivity on the appearance stereotypes, it turned out that gender positive attitude had a positively significant effect on the appearance stereotypes, and gender sen-sitivity also had a positively significant effect on the appearance stereotypes. Third, it turned out that gender sensitivity has a mediating effect when the positive self-esteem affects ap-pearance evaluation and respect for appearance, and the negative self-esteem affects appearance evaluation and appearance stereotypes. Conclusion: It is considered that the research on the direction of the beauty industry and between the classes that become direct consumers must be conducted in various ways because the gender sensitivity that women have as a human being can bring about changes in appearance recognition behavior, thereby breaking away from stereotypes about gender. It is hoped that this study will help understand the gender sensitivity of women in their 20s and contribute to the development of the beauty industry.

        The Effect of Job Satisfaction of the Beauty Service Providers on the Goal Orientation for Public Value

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine and understand the effect of job satisfaction of the beauty service providers, which is highly dependent on human resources such as technology and services, on the goal orientation for public value. Method: The questionnaire method was used for women in their 20s and 50s. The questionnaire was consisted of job satisfaction, goal orientedness, and demographic variables. Frequency, percentage, and average were calculated, and to learn about the relationship between job satisfaction and goal oriented-ness, the multiple regression analysis was performed. Results: In terms of the effect of job satisfaction on learning avoidance among the goal orientations, only the salary satisfaction variable turned out to have a statistically significant negative(-) effect. In [Model 1], in terms of the effect of job satisfaction on performance approach and learning approach among the goal orientations, only the job satisfaction variable turned out to have a statistically significant positive(+) effect. In [Model 2], it turned out that the job satisfaction variable and the boss satisfaction variable had a statistically significant pos-itive(+) effect. Conclusion: For the job satisfaction of beauty service providers, it will be necessary to improve the job envi-ronment and job conditions. Accordingly, it is expected that this study will serve as the basic data for understand-ing the improvement of the work environment of beauty service providers and also be used as the marketing data for beauty servicemen who are aiming for a goal.

        A Study on the Relationship Between the Women College Students Caring for Appearance and Make-Up Behaviors for Beauty Salon Startups Amidst the COVID-19 CRISIS

        Purpose: The beauty industry quenches the basic human needs, and it may also be said that it is a necessary startup in the present time when appearance is a form of competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between caring for appearance and make-up behaviors of women college students for the beauty salon startups targeting women college students amidst the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Method: As for the research method, the questionnaire method was used for women college students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The questionnaire was consisted of caring for appearance, make-up behaviors, and demo-graphic variables, while frequency, percentage, and average were calculated to discover the demographic charac-teristics of the research subjects, and to identify and understand the relationship between caring for appearance and make-up behaviors, the multiple regression analysis was performed to examine the Pearson s moment corre-lation and causal relationship. Results: As a result of the analysis, first, caring for appearance was derived as such factors including focus on appearance in trend, self-development, and sexual attractiveness, while make-up behaviors were derived as such five factors including prevalence, conformity, subjectivity, instrumentality, and ostentation. Second, all sub-factors of the motive of caring for appearance of women college students turned out to have a statistically significant, positive correlation with all sub-factors of the make-up behaviors. Third, the motive for caring for appearance turned out to have a statistically significant effect on the sexual attractiveness and focus on appearance of the make-up behaviors across all sub-factors, and the factors of prevalence and instrumentality turned out to have a significant effect excluding the focus on appearance in trend. Conclusion: Amidst the prolonged COVID-19 crisis, beauty salons are faced with a crisis. To overcome this crisis and proceed with a re-startup, a far more specialized research on the marketing subjects will be needed. Therefore, it is expected and hoped that this study will serve as the basic data for re-startup amidst the crisis and will also be used as the marketing materials for the beauty workers aspiring to take a new leap forward.

        The Effect of Interpersonal Relationship for Public Value on the Makeup Behavior of the Women in Their 40s and 50s

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine and understand the effect of interpersonal relationship of the middle-aged women on the makeup behavior. The women in their 40s and 50s are the most economically productive age group, and it is considered that the study of their makeup behavior would be very important. Method: This study distributed and collected questionnaires from women in their 40s and 50s in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. A total of 411 copies were used for the final statistical analysis. Frequency, percentage, and average were calculated to examine and understand the demographic characteristics of the study subjects, and the Pearson’s product moment-effect correlation was calculated to examine and understand the relationship between the interpersonal relationship and makeup behavior. The stepwise multiple regression analysis was also performed to determine the causal relationship between the interpersonal relationship and the makeup behavior. Results: As a result of the effect of interpersonal relationship on the fashionableness among the makeup behaviors, it turned out that openness, understanding, and satisfaction had positively significant effects on fashionableness among the makeup behaviors. As a result of the effect of interpersonal relationship on the subjectivity among the makeup behaviors, understanding, satisfaction, and subjectivity among the makeup behaviors turned out to have positively significant effects. As a result of interpersonal relationship on subjectivity among the makeup behaviors, openness was shown to have a negatively significant effect on subjectivity among the makeup behaviors, and understanding, satisfaction, and communication had a positively significant effect on subjectivity among the makeup behaviors. Conclusion: A study on the makeup behavior of women in their 40s and 50s, who carry out a lot of social activities and highly value interpersonal relationships, is considered to contribute largely to the direction of the beauty industry that creates public value and the makeup product manufacturing industry.

        The Effect of Self-Efficacy of Those in Their 30s and 40s for Public Value on the Appearance Management Behaviors

        Purpose: Women in their 30s and 40s are most active in terms of their professional life, and it may be said that the public value of social activities is quite large. Self-efficacy for the public value influences interpersonal rela-tionships in professional life and is also an important factor manifested through the appearance management behaviors. The purpose of this study is to examine and understand the effect of self-efficacy on the appearance management behaviors for the women in their 30s and 40s. Method: In this study, a total of 577 copies were used for the final statistical analysis data. For the question-naire’s questions for the development of the scale of this study, a survey method was used for the women in their 30s and 40s for an empirical study. Self-efficacy was used as three factors of physical self-efficacy, social self-efficacy, and task difficulty preference, and appearance management behavior was used as five factors of cosmet-ic management, skin care, weight management, hair care, and clothing management. Results: First, among the sub-factors of self-efficacy among the women in their 30s and 40s, and as for the physical self-efficacy and social self-efficacy, it turned out that there was a significant negative (-) correlation concerning skin care , hair care and clothing care among the appearance management behaviors. Among the sub-factors of self-efficacy, and as for the preference for the level of task related difficulty, it turned out that there is a significant positive (+) correlation concerning plastic management and weight management among the appearance management behaviors. Second, as for the effect of self-efficacy on weight control among the appearance management behaviors, so-cial self-efficacy and the preference for the level of task-related difficulty turned out to have statistically significant effects. Among the appearance management behaviors, and as for clothing management, it turned out that there was a statistically significant effect for physical self-efficacy, social self-efficacy and the preference for the level of task related difficulty. The rest of the factors did not turn out to be significant. Conclusion: As the women s social activities have increased, the public value socially speaking has increasingly grown, and it is considered that it is very important for women to take care of their appearance Therefore, it is expected that this study will examine women s self-efficacy and well understand women s interest, so that they can be well-activated in the marketing of the beauty market and the fashion market.

        Effects of Hope Scale on the Psychological Well-Being and Makeup Psychology for DISASTERS Among Female College Students

        Purpose: With the economic crisis and recession caused by COVID-19, people from all over the world are facing insecurity of employment and losing hope for the future. Consequently, this study was carried out to investigate the effects of hope scale on the makeup psychology and psychological well-being among female college students in such a crisis. Method: A questionnaire method was selected in this study to survey female college students in Seoul and Gyeonggi Provinces. The questionnaire consisted of demographic variables, hope scale, psychological well-being, and makeup psychology. Frequency, percentile, and average were analyzed to understand the demographic characteristics of the study subjects, and the causal relationship among hope scale, psychological well-being, and makeup psychology was examined through single regression analysis. Results: In terms of the effects of hope scale on makeup psychology, only planning power was found to have a statistically significant effect on etiquette and social life, only determination on self-expression and pursuit of beauty, and both determination and planning power on satisfaction and attractiveness. Similarly, for the effects of hope scale on psychological well-being, both determination and planning power were found to have a statistically significant effect on personal growth and self-acceptance and only determina-tion on positive interpersonal relationship. Conclusion: The psychology behind wearing makeup plays an important role in one’s etiquette and social life, while serving the role of expressing and satisfying oneself. Psychological well-being seems to be affected by the existence of hope; when people with a significant level of psychologically well-being have hope, they can over-come disasters and have the willingness to express self through makeup.

        가상자산의 가격 형성 요인: 감성 분석을 중심으로

        본 연구는 2019년 1월 1일∼2021년 12월 31일 가상자산의 거래에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 분석을 위해 비정형데이터인 뉴스 및 기사에서 가상자산과 관련된 자료를 수집하고, KNU 사전을 바탕으로 해당 자료에 나타난 감성을 추정하였다. 그리고 자기회귀모형과 패널회귀모형을 적용하여 가상자산 거래에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 발견은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가격 상승기가 시작되는 시점에 뉴스 및 기사의 빈도수가 증가하는 경향이 있다. 둘째, 본 연구의 분석 기간의 가상자산에 대한 감성은 대체로 긍정 감성으로 나타난다. 하지만, 상승기 및 하락기의 긍정 및 부정 감성에 명확한 차이는 확인할 수 없다. 셋째, 변동성의 비대칭성과 레버리지 현상이 나타난다. 넷째, 부정 감성과 뉴스 빈도수는 가격변화에 시차를 두고 영향력이 있지만, 거래량의 변화에는 즉각적인 영향력 및 그 영향력의 지속성을 발견하였다. 반면, 투자 심리를 자극하는 요인인 부정 감성과 뉴스빈도가 가격과 거래량 변화에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의미하나, 방향성은 일관되지 않는다. 이와 같은 투자자의 감성이 가상자산의 거래에 미치는 영향력 및 통계적으로 유의미한 비일관적인 영향력의 발견은 본 연구의 차별적인 결과이다. 한편, 가상자산의 가격 및 거래량 변동성은 가상자산의 거래 현황 및 특성이 반영된, 시장의 이상 반응(anomaly)이라 판단한다. 따라서, 가상자산의 거래에 있어서 투자자의 주의 및 금융 당국의 적절한 역할이 요구된다. We analyzed the trading of virtual assets that ranged from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021 using atypical data. To analyze, data related to virtual assets from news and articles, which are atypical, were collected and the sentiment in the data was estimated based on the KNU dictionary. Our findings are as follows. First, the frequency of news and articles tends to increase at the beginning of the price increase period. Second, the sentiment on virtual assets during the analysis period of this study is generally positive. Third, our findings show the asymmetry of volatility and leverage effect in virtual assets trading. Fourth, negative sentiment and news frequencies have an influence over time on price changes, but those have an immediate influence and persistence of this influence on changes in trading volume. While, the impact of sentiment in trading is not consistent, it is statistically significant. Consequently this study considers the volatility of virtual assets as an anomaly in the virtual assets market. Thus, our study recommends an investor's attention and an appropriate role of financial authorities, in trading virtual assets.

        사회과 교육과정 성취기준 진술 방식 및 구조 분석

        본 연구는 2009 개정 사회과 교육과정 초·중학교(경제 영역) 성취기준을 텍스트 분석방법을 통해 분석하였다. 사회과 성취기준 분석을 위해 텍스트 분석기법 중 하나인 체계기능언어학적 방법과 Bloom의 신목표분류체계를 바탕으로 사회과 성취기준 분석틀을 고안하였다. 이를 기반으로 하여 성취기준의 학습 내용과 서술어와의 관계, 학습 도달점 진술 방식, 학습 내용 구조 및 학습량 등을 분석하여 현행 사회과 교육과정 경제 영역 성취기준의 특징과 문제점을 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 성취기준 진술에서 다루는 학습 내용은 사실적 지식이나 개념적 지식을 다루는 경우가 많으며, 서술어의 경우 학교급별로 자주 사용되는 동사가 어느 정도 정해져 있었다. 그리고 초등학교와 중학교의 성취기준 진술방식이 상이했으며, 학습 환경(언제, 어디서, 어떻게)에 해당하는 부분은 대부분 성취기준에서 생략되어 있었다. 학습 내용을 양적으로 측정하였을 때, 학교급 별로 성취기준 당 2~3개 정도의 학습 내용을 다루고 있다는 점에서 유사하였으나, 단원을 기준으로 할 경우 초등학교에서 조금 더 많은 내용을 다루고 있었다. 성취기준에서 다루는 학습 내용의 난이도의 경우 일부 초등학교 성취기준이 중학교 보다 다소 높거나 별 차이가 없다고 판단되는 경우가 있었다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 몇 가지 대안을 제시해 보았다. 우선 성취기준에서 진술하고 있는 학습 내용의 이해를 돕고, 학생들의 다양한 인지 활동을 담을 수 있도록 동사를 다양화할 필요가 있다. 그리고 진술 방식의 경우 학교급에 상관없이 학업 성취 도달 가능성을 나타낼 수 있는 서술어로 진술될 필요가 있다. 성취수준에서 일반적으로 생략이 되어있는 학습 환경의 경우 교육과정에 문장형태로 기술되어있는 교수·학습방법을 체계화하여 기술해줌으로써 보완할 수 있다. 마지막으로 학교급에 맞게 경제 영역의 학습량과 내용 구조를 조정할 필요가 있는데, 이를 위해서는 초등학교와 중학교의 경제 영역내용을 전반적으로 검토하여 내용을 분배하고 순서를 정리하는 작업이 선행돼야 할 것이다. This study investigated elementary and middle school economics standards described in the 2009 revised social studies curriculum. Text analysis, in particular Systemic Functional Linguistic analysis and Bloom’s new taxonomy were used to build up a framework for social studies standard analysis. The framework consists of the relationships between content knowledge and predicate, description of achievement goal, content structure, and others. Our findings are following. First, the standards include a lot of factual knowledge and concepts and repeatedly use particular verbs. Second, one standard deals with two or three content knowledge in general but per one unit, elementary school deals with more content knowledge than middle school. Even sometimes some content knowledge in elementary standards is more difficult than middle school’s. Third, the terms related to when, where, and how were rarely included in the standards. Based on analysis results, this study makes suggestions for clear statements of social studies curriculum standards. First, it is necessary to use various verbs to help the understanding of what standards say and cover a wide range of cognitive thinking process. Speaking of how to write the standards, it is needed to use positive predicates in the way that students are able to reach the goals. Also, instructional method parts should be modified given that the standards in general do not include the terms related to when, where, and how. Last but not least, it is truly needed to re-evaluate and re-arranged economics’ contents based on appropriateness for students’ levels.

        사회과 교육과정 구성방식 탐색

        사회과 교육과정에 대한 분석은 교육과정 자체 뿐 아니라 그 교육과정에 반영된 사회 변화에 대한 교육적 대응을 이해하는 자료로 기능할 수 있다. 따라서 사회 변화 분석과 더불어 사회과 교육과정 분석을 통해 교육과정 기획자 및 설계자들은 차후의 교육과정 기획 및 설계의 기본 자료로 활용할 수 있다. 미국사회과 교육과정이 우리나라 사회과 교육과정의 변화와도 그 흐름이 유사했던 만큼, 두 국가의 교육 과정을 조사하는 작업은 우리나라 사회과 교육과정의 현재의 지평을 이해하고 미래의 방향을 기획하는 데 있어서 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. 이에 본 연구자들은 최근 들어 우리나라와 미국의 사회과 교육과정이 비슷한 시기에 개정되었다는 점을 참고하여 두 나라의 사회과 교육과정을 비교함으로써 교육과정에서 공통적으로 추구하는 사회과 교육의 전반적인 요구사항을 찾아보았다. 이를 바탕으로 우리나라의 사회과 교육과정의 지향점을 살펴보고 차후 국가수준 우리나라 사회과 교육과정을 개정할 때 고려해야 할 점을 제안하였다. 우선 세분화된 주제들과 관련하여 성취기준을 대강화하여 제시하기 보다는, 성취기준 기술 구성요소를 정하고 요소별 균형적 기술을 통해 교육 방향성을 명확히 제시를 해주는 것과 학문 영역의 구분보다는 주요 내용을 중심으로 영역 간 유기적 통합을 통해 내용의 불필요한 반복을 막음으로 사회 현상의 이해에 도움 되도록 할 것을 제안하였다. A social studies curriculum reflects its society. An analysis of a social studies curriculum serves as the means of understanding changes in a society. Curriculum developers can use the information to revise and modify the curriculum proper for a changing society. Initially, the American social studies curriculum influenced the Korean social studies curriculum. Since then they have been developed separatedly. Interestingly the social studies curricula of countries was revised recently. Considering a social studies curriculum reflects social changes, the exploration of the recently revised social studies curricula of two countries may inform us about the current trends of social studies and the future direction of how to develop social studies curriculum. Accordingly we compared the revised curricula of Korea and America and found the similarities and differences in them. Based on the results, the suggestions for better social studies curriculum are made. First, the achievement standards in curriculum should contain the components of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Second, redundant contents across academic areas should be evaluated.
