        A 37Ch Visible Adaptive Optics System for Wavefront Compensation

        A visible adaptive system was developed to compensate for phase distortions of a visible (He-Ne) laser. The visible adaptive optics (AO) system consists of 5 subsystems: a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor, a deformable membrane mirror of 15 mm with 37 actuators, a high-speed tip/tilt mirror of 20 mm, a position sensor and a control & display unit. The lab-developed Shack-Hartmann sensor was experimentally shown to have a measurement accuracy of better than RMS /50 at 0.6328 μm over the maximum phase distortion that the deformable mirror could generate, i.e., approximately /4. The adaptive optics system operated the deformable mirror at 10 Hz and the tip/tilt mirror at 30 Hz, which were, respectively, closed by the Shack-Hartmann sensor and the position sensor. The closed adaptive optics system was demonstrated to compensate for time-varying wavefront aberrations of PV (Peak-to-Valley) 1.2 μm with a time frequency of 1.4 Hz. The residual RMS wavefront error was shown to be smaller than 0.014 μm, i.e., /45 at 0.6328 μm.

      • 정맥용 면역글로불린 투여 후 발생한 무균성 수막염 3례

        IVIG 투여에 의해 무균성 수막염은 그 기전이 밝혀지지 않았으나 IVIG 투여와 관련된 신경학적 부작용 중 가장 중한 합병증의 하나이다. 저자들은 서울대학교 어린이병원에서 2003년부터 2004년까지 3명의 환아에서 확인된 IVIG 투여와 관련된 무균성 수막염 4례를 경험하여 보고하였다. 3명의 환아는 ITP, 가와사키병, 중증 근무력증으로 기저질환은 각각 상이하였으나 기저질환에 대한 치료를 위해 모두 고용량의 IVIG를 투여받았으며, IVIG를 투여받은 후 1~2일 이내에 심한 두통과 뇌막자극 징후를 보였다. 척수액 소견상 백혈구 수는 $100/{\mu}L$ 미만에서부터 $1,000/{\mu}L$ 이상까지 다양하였으나 주로 다핵구로 구성된 척수액 백혈구 분포를 보였고(66~98%), 세균 배양검사와 장바이러스 배양과 PCR 검사에서 음성 결과를 보였다. 3명의 환아 모두 수막염 발생 2일 후까지는 증상이 호전되었으며, 후유증 및 장애가 없었다. Intravenous immune globulin(IVIG) is widely used for immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), Kawasaki disease and other autoimmune neuromuscular disease. Aseptic meningitis was one of the most serious neurologic complications reported following the use of IVIG. We experienced 4 episodes of aseptic meningitis associated with IVIG usage in 3 patients from 2003 to 2004. Underlying disease of each patients was ITP, Kawasaki disease and myathenia gravis and all of them received high dose IVIG treatment for their underlying disease. Within a days, they started to complain severe headache and diagnosed meningitis by cerebrospinal fluid analysis. Cerebrospinal fluid leukocyte counts varied from 92 to over a thound per microliter with dominance of polymorphonuclear leukocytes. Microbiologic studies revealed no organisms. All of them were free from headache within 2 days and did not suffer any neurological sequelae.

        선형 LSE 알고리즘을 이용한 신호원 위치 추정 성능

        In this paper, the well-known LOB-based emitter localization using linear LSE algorithm is numerically implemented and the heuristic guidelines for the parameter values to achieve 1% RMS error are presented. In the simulation, we changed the total observation durations for LOB measurements, time interval between successive LOB measurements and sensor trajectories. The effects of the time interval of LOB measurements, the time duration of the LOB measurements and the angle of flight path arc on the performance are illustrated. The dependence of the performance on the various parameters is investigated and rule-of-thumbs for the parameter values corresponding to 1% RMS error are presented for each simulation condition.

        정보은닉기법을 적용한 함정 전투체계 소나 영상의 정보관리 방안 연구

        The SONAR waterfall image(SWI) is used typically to target detection in SONAR operation and is managed with additional data linked in the naval combat system. The SWI and additional data are very important to classify a kind of target. Although additional data of the SWI is essential and must be kept together with the SWI, it was stored separately in the current system. In this paper, we propose an improved information management method in the naval combat system, where additional data can be contained in the SWI together by using information hiding techniques. The experimental results show that the effectiveness of information hiding techniques in the naval combat system. It is demonstrated that the information hiding techniques can be applied to the SWI that can make the naval combat system to be robust and secure.

        Kalman filter를 이용한 위치추정 알고리즘의 성능 분석

        In this paper, the dependence of the Kalman filter-based emitter location algorithm on the initial estimate is investigated. Given all the LOB data, the initial estimate of the emitter location is obtained from the linear LSE algorithm with the former LOB data. Using the initial estimate, the Kalman filter algorithm is applied with the remaining LOB data to update the initial estimate. It is shown that as the number of data used in the calculation of the initial estimate increases, the accuracy of the final estimate is improved and the total computational complexity of obtaining the initial estimate and the final estimate increases. In addition, the dependence of the performance of the Kalman filter algorithm on the predefined constant is illustrated.

        판상형 격간벽 시스템 건물의 반응수정계수

        In this study seismic performance and response modification factors of rectangular reinforced concrete staggered wall system (SWS) structures were evaluated. To this end, 5, 9, 15, and 25-story SWS structural models were designed and were analyzed by pushover analysis to observe the force-displacement relationship up to failure and the location of plastic deformation. The response modification factor was computed based on the overstrength and the ductility capacities obtained from capacity envelopes. The analysis results showed that the 5- and 9-story SWS structures failed due to yielding of columns and walls located in the lower stories, whereas in the 15- and 25-story structures plastic hinges were more widely distributed throughout the stories. The response modification factors obtained by multiplying overstrength factor and ductility factor increased as the number of stories decreased.

        복합 슬릿-마찰 감쇠장치가 적용된 철근 콘크리트 특수 모멘트 저항골조의 내진성능 평가

        This study develops a new hybrid passive energy dissipation device for seismic rehabilitation of an existing structure. The device is composed of a friction damper combined with a steel plate with vertical slits as a hysteretic damper. Analytical model is developed for the device, and the capacity of the hybrid device to satisfy a given target performance is determined based on the ASCE/SEI 7-10 process. The effect of the device is verified by nonlinear dynamic analyses using seven earthquake records. The analysis results show that the dissipated inelastic energy is concentrated on the hybrid damper and the maximum interstory drift of the SMRF with damping system satisfies the requirement of the current code.

        특성화고 조경과 학생들의 기능인력 양성에 관한 연구

        특성화 고등학교(이하 특성화고)의 교육 목적은 행복한 직업인이 되기 위한 직업 기초능력의 배양에 있고, 학생들은 배운 직업 기초능력을 토대로 사회에 진출하여 자신의 적성과 흥미, 가치관에 맞는 직업을 찾아야 한다. 그래서 특성화고의 목적 달성과 비전제시를 정확히 하기 위해 정부가 많은 노력을 하고 있으며, 정부 주도의 구조 지향적 방향 제시는 사회구조와 개인의 인식에 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 생각된다. 다가오는 선진 한국 사회에서 직업인으로서 행복하게 살아가기 위하여 사회구조의 핵심이 될 수 있는 사회편견(차별)과 인식이 전환되어야 하고, 그 해결점은 배우는 학생의 올바른 가치관 형성과 더불어 그들이 안정적인 미래를 보장 받을 수 있는 직업선택의 구조를 만들어 주는 것이 중요하다고 생각한다. 본 연구는 목적을 벗어난 무조건적 진학 위주의 특성화고 문제점을 안고 있는 조경과 학생들을 대상으로 기능인력 양성 만족도에 관한 분석을 수행하고자, 조경과가 설치된 전국 11개 지역의 특성화고 교육계획서, 공통으로 배우고 있는 교과서, 특성화고 직업교육 정책과 관련한 정부간행물, 특성화고에서 조경을 전공하고 있는 학생들의 설문조사를 활용하였다. 그 결과, 교육계획서 분석을 통하여 각 학교별 교과 및 직업교육과정에 대한 프로그램 유형과 빈도를 알 수 있었고, 교과서 내용 분석에서는 취업 시 필요한 전문적인 기능을 양성할 수 있는 교과서 내용의 수준과 가감의 필요성을 확인하였다. 또한, 교육과학기술부의 특성화고 직업교육 정책 분석에서 직업교육 과정 및 체제의 특징을 밝혔으며, 11개 학교 조경전공 학생들의 설문 조사를 통해 교육계획서, 교과서, 정부직업정책, 진로선택으로 나누어, 실제 학교에서 교육 수요자인 학생들이 느끼고 있는 진로 직업교육에 대한 비교 분석을 하였다. The goal of vocational school is to provide students with basic skills and help develop them to have satisfactory careers. With the knowledge they have learned, it helps them to find their interests and aptitudes when they graduate. The government is putting a lot of effort into clarifying the goal accomplishment and the vision proposals of vocational schools, and the structure-oriented guidance controlled by the government is thought to be very influential to the social structure and individual perceptions. Social stereotypes(discrimination) and perceptions that can be the core of a social structure need to be transformed for people to be fulfilled in their careers in the upcoming advanced Korean society. The important solution is to form correct values and a system of career selection which can ensure a stable future for students. Therefore, to carry out research regarding training human resources in terms of students from vocational schools' landscape architecture majors in an approaching method with a new perspective, we analyzed education plans from vocational schools in 11 regions, textbooks used in common, governmental publications regarding career education policies of vocational schools and questionnaires from students who are majoring in landscape architecture at vocational schools. As a result, we were able to find out the types and the frequencies of career-occupation education at each school through analysis of education plans and the necessity to control the amount and the level of the contents for high school students to have careers in analyzing textbooks. In addition, in Ministry of Education, Science and Technology's analyzing career education policies of vocational schools, we figured out the government's policies and directions of training. From the questionnaires from students majoring in landscape architecture, we were able to compare and analyze the satisfaction level of students on career education(education plans), textbooks, governmental career policies and career selection.

        신호원 위치의 편향성 및 센서 이동경로에 따른 선형 LSE 알고리즘 기반 신호원 위치 추정 성능

        In this paper, passive direction-finding localization of the emitter using noisy line-of-bearing (LOB) measurements is considered. The performance of the LOB-based emitter localization using linear LSE algorithm is given. The Dependence of the performance on bias of emitter location and sensor trajectory is illustrated using the numerical results.

        경화 위축성 태선과 경피증의 감별진단에 있어서 렉틴의 의의

        Background : Differential diagnosis of lichen sclerosus et atrophicus( SA) and scleroderma is occasionally difficult. Objective : The purpose of this study was to attempt differentiation between the two diseases using imrnunohistochemical stain and lectins. Methods : Paraffin-embeddred sections of 4 cases of LSA and 11 cases of scleroderma were evaluated for this study. Using lectins, such as peanut agglutinin(PNA), siybean agglutinin(SBA), Ulex europaeus agglutinin-I(UEA-I) and Dolichos biflorus agglutinin(DBA) and the avidin-biotin-peroxi-dase complex(ABC) technique, differential lectin binding patterns betv een the two diseases were examined. Results : In the case of LSA, PNA and SBA stained the upper and lower spinous layer of the epidermis, and UEA I also stained the spinous layer of the epidermis weakly, but no DBA was stained. In the case of scleroderma, PNA stained not only the spinous layer but also the basal layer, SBA stained the upper half of the spinous layer but not the lower half of the pinous layer of epidermis. But UEA-I stained the vascular endothelial cells of dermis instead of epidermis, and DBA stained only the basal layer of epidermis. Conclusion : Staining of these 4 lectins on paraffin-embedded sectians using ABC teehnique could be helpful in differenting LSA and scleroderma. (Kor J Dermatol 1993; 31(3): 329-336)
