최근 경량 자전거에 대한 요구가 지속적으로 증가함에 따라 탄소섬유 복합재료가 자전거 프레임 및 부품 제작에 널리 활용되고 있다. 복합재료는 일반적인 등방성 재료와는 달리 적층판의 방향과 순서에 따라 그 구조적인 특성이 변화하기 때문에 복합재료 자전거의 디자인을 검증하기 위해서는 구조 해석을 수행하는 것이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 CFRP 소재를 적용하여 자전거 프레임을 설계하였고, 유한요소해석을 통하여 그 구조적 성능을 분석하였다. 다양한 적층 순서와 하중조건 하에서 섬유와 매트릭스의 파손지수를 측정함으로써 복합재의 적층 조건이 자전거의 구조 강도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 취약 부분은 추가적인 복합재 적층판을 이용하여 보강함으로써 자전거 프레임의 구조적 안전성을 확보할 수 있었다. With the continuing demand for lightweight bicycles, carbon fiber composite materials have been widely used in manufacturing bicycle frames and components. Unlike general isotropic materials, the structural characteristics of composite materials are strongly influenced by the staking directions and sequences of composite laminates. Thus, to verify the design process of bicycles manufactured using composites, structural analysis is considered essential. In this study, a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) bicycle frame was designed and its structural behavior was investigated using finite element analysis (FEA). By measuring the failure indices of the fiber and matrix under various stacking sequences and loading conditions, the effect of the stacking condition of composite laminates on the strength of the bicycle structure was examined. In addition, the structural safety of the bicycle frame can be enhanced by reinforcing weak regions prone to failure using additional composite laminates.

컴파운더 보우는 리커브 보우와 비교하여 케이블 및 캠 풀리로 구성되는 지레시스템을 사용하여, 궁사가 보우를 최대 위치로 당기기 위해 필요로 하는 힘을 줄이는 동시에 더 많은 에너지를 축적할 수 있도록 해준다. 지금까지 컴파운더 보우의 효율 및 성능을 향상시키기 위해 경험적인 방법에 기초하여 많은 특허가 제안되었지만, 해석적인 방법에 대한 연구는 별로 없었다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 컴파운더 보우 지레 시스템의 기구학적인 해석을 위한 방법을 제안하여 지레시스템의 캠 형상 및 보우 날개의 재질변화에 따른 효과를 설계자가 쉽게 예측할 수 있도록 하고자 한다. Compound bows use levering systems consisting of cables and cam pulleys to bend limbs that are much stiffer than those of recurve bows, thus storing more energy while requiring less force for the archer to hold the bow at a fully drawn position. Many patents have thus far been proposed to improve the efficiency and performance of compound bows through empirical methods, whereas only a few analytical methods have been proposed. In this light, this paper presents a method for the kinematic analysis of levering systems in compound bows so that a designer can easily predict the effects of changes in the cam profiles and limb materials.

This paper presents an experimental study on the failure characteristics of SnAgCu lead-free solder balls. To estimate the effect of Ag, three types of SnAgCu balls are first prepared by varying the weight percent of Ag(1.0, 3.0, 4.0 wt%) and then analyzed by reliability tests such as thermal shock, high speed ball shear, and drop tests. Thermal shock test reveals that the higher the weight percent of Ag is, the longer the fatigue lift becomes. To the contrary, high speed ball-shear test and drop test show that the shear strength and the fracture toughness of solder balls are inversely proportional to the weight percent of Ag, respectively, Reasons for these observations will be further investigated In the future work.

CV(bDAT) cell line, expressing dopamine transporter stably, has been established by transfection of CV-1 cells with bovine dopamine transporter cDNA. Using CV(bDAT) cells, the effects of various antipsychotic drugs on dopamine uptake activity were investigated. All of antipsychotic drugs tested, inhibited the [$^3H$]dopamine uptake into CV(bDAT) cells with $IC_{50}s$ in the low to mid micromolar range, implying that antipsychotic drugs may produce overflow of dopamine in the synaptic cleft of dopaminergic neuron.

In this study, corrosion fatigue characteristics of CF8M and CF8A steel were investigated on the simulated PWR condition(Temp.:316℃, Pres.: 15㎫). To make the simulated PWR condition, the special test machine consisted of INSTRON, Autoclave, LOOP and Measuremet system was developed. As ΔK is ranged from 11 to 20㎫√m, Crack growth rate of PWR codindition is faster than air condition. Above 20㎫√m, the crack growth rate of PWR and air condition is similar. Corrosion fatigue characteristics regardless of the ferrite contents(10~25wt.%) is not different. After the test, the fracture surface of specimens was examined. It was difficult to verify the fracture modes such as striation, intergranular crack and cleavage and so on. As the ferrite content of CF8M is increased, the more particles covered fracture surface were peeled.
Lysobacter antibioticus HS124를 이용한 배추좀나방(Plutella xylostella L.)의 생물학적 방제

선행연구에서 근권 토양으로부터 분리된 Lysobacter antibioticus HS124 (HS124)는 lytic enzyme으로써 chitinase, gelatinase, lipase 및 protease 등의 효소와 항생물질인 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (4-HPAA)를 생성하였다. 본 실험에서는 HS124를 이용하여 배추좀나방 (diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella L.)3~4령 유충의 살충활성을 검정하였다. HS124 배양액을 배추좀나방 유충에 처리하였을 때 유충은 파괴되어 분해되었다. HS124가 생성하는 4-HPAA를 유충에 처리하였을 때 처리 농도가 높을수록 살충율은 증가하였으며, HS124 배양액에 Tween 80을 첨가하였을 때 첨가하지 않은 처리구보다 살충율이 1.4배 높았다. 한편 화학 살충제 (IS), HS124 배양액 (HS124), 식물추출물 (매직파이; MP), HS124 배양액+식물추출물 (HS124+MP) 및 멸균수 (SDW)를 이용하여 배추좀나방 유충의 살충율을 검정하였다. HS124+MP 처리구에서 가장 높은 살충율을 나타내었고, IS, MP, HS124 및 SDW 처리구 순으로 살충율이 감소하였다. HS124 처리구는 대조구인 멸균수 처리구보다 31% 높은 살충율을 나타내었고, HS124+MP 처리구 보다 40% 낮은 살충율을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과로 보아 항생물질과 다양한 lytic enzyme을 생성하는 L. antibioticus HS124 배양액과 식물추출물의 혼합제제는 배추좀나방의 생물학적 방제제로써 가치가 있다고 사료된다. Lysobacter antibioticus HS124 was isolated from rhizosphere soil in previous experiments, which produced lytic enzymes such as chitinase, gelatinase, lipase and protease. In addition, HS124 released an antibiotic compound, 4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (4-HPAA). When larvae of P. xylostella was treated with HS124 culture broth, its body was destroyed, and degraded with the increase of incubation time, yielding glycine which was detected from HS124 culture broth. When 4-HPAA produced from HS124 was sprayed, larvae mortality increased with increasing concentration of 4-HPAA. When HS124 culture supplemented with Tween 80 was sprayed, its insecticidal activity against larvae was approximately 1.4 times higher compared to the culture without Tween 80. Insecticide (IS), HS124 culture broth (HS124), Magic-pi (MP) and HS124 culture broth+Magic-pi (HS124+MP) were each treated against larvae of P. xylostella to investigate their insecticidal effect where sterile diluted water (SDW) was used as a control. The highest mortality of larvae was found in HS124+MP, followed by IS, MP, HS124 and SDW respectively. Mortality of larvae in HS124 was 31% higher than that in SDW, but 41% lower than that in HS124+MP, meaning that both enzymes and antibiotics produced from HS124 may synergistically act as active agents with plant extract containing neem oil and turmeric in HS124+MP treatment. These results suggested that L. antibioticus HS124 together with plant extract can be one of candidates for biocontrol agents against Plutella xylostella.
수면장애의 인지행동치료를 위한 스마트폰 애플리케이션 개발과 활용

연구목적 : 불면증 치료에 인지행동치료는 약물치료에 비하여 부작용 및 의존성의 가능성이 낮아 효과적이다. 본 논문은 불면증 인지행동치 료를 위한 스마트폰 앱 개발 과정과 정신보건학적 의의에 대해 기술하였다. 방 법 : 전남대학교병원 정신건강의학과와 광주북구정신건강증진센터의 의료진과 정신보건전문요원들이 모바일 솔루션 개발업체와 협력하여 수면인지행동치료를 위한 스마트폰 앱을 개발하였다. 결 과 : 앱의 주요 기능은 수면제한, 자극조절, 수면위생, 이완요법, 인지 재구조화 등의 치료 원리를 바탕으로 개발되었다. 총 8개의 모듈로 구성되어 있는데, 이는 수면상태 평가, 나의 수면일지, 수면위생 자가체크, 나의 잘못된 수면 습관, 점진적 근육이완, 하지불안증 후군 선별, 불면증 역기능 사고, 수면앱 소개 등이다. 모바일 기기의 특성 중 하나인 간편성과 앱을 통한 환자와 치료자 간 상호작용을 통해 수면인지행동치료를 촉진하고자 하였다. 결 론 : 본 수면 앱의 개발과 활용은 첨단기술을 의료와 정신사회적 치료에 접목한 것으로 향후 다양한 방식의 서비스 툴 개발과 확산에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 향후 수면 앱의 안정성, 임상 효용성 및 사용자 만족도에 대한 연구가 추후 이루어져야 할 것이다. Objectives : Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is an effective non-pharmacologic treatment without the risk of dependence or adverse effects associated with hypnotics. This article aims to describe the development of smartphone application for CBT-I of patients with insomnia. Methods : Chonnam National University Hospital and Gwangju Bukgu-Community Mental Health Center developed and launched a smartphone application (HYM-Sleep) for CBT-I. The development of the application involved psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and software technicians from a software development company (Goosl Corp.). Results : Development of the HYM-Sleep application was based on theory of CBT-I including sleep restriction, stimulus control, sleep hygiene, relaxation, and cognitive restructuring of insomnia. This application is composed of eight main modules including ‘Sleep assessment’, ‘Sleep diary’, ‘Sleep hygiene education’, ‘Sleep habits correction’, ‘Relaxation training’, ‘Restless legs syndrome screening’, ‘Cognitive therapy’, and ‘App introduction’. Checking on this application by client is shared with case manager/therapist, who can provide feedback in real time. Conclusion : This application is expected to have potential to enhance CBT-I through technical aid. In addition, this application’s interactive function between client and therapist is the key characteristic that distinguishes it from other mobile application. This smartphone application may contribute to further development of various psychological and technical intervention of insomnia.
