The fabrication of the = 0.12 half-wave resonator prototype at the Rare Isotope Science Project (RISP) is now complete, and the subsequent processing and the vertical test are expected to begin shortly. The details of the fabrication are reported in this paper. We describe the fabrication steps, together with the quality control effort, for the optimal performance of the cavity at the vertical test.
A Reset-Free Anti-Harmonic Programmable MDLL-Based Frequency Multiplier

A reset-free anti-harmonic programmablemultiplying delay-locked loop (MDLL) that providesflexible integer clock multiplication for highperformance clocking applications is presented. Theproposed MDLL removes harmonic locking problemsby utilizing a simple harmonic lock detector andcontrol logic, which allows this MDLL to change theinput clock frequency and multiplication factorduring operation without the use of start-up circuitryand external reset. A programmable voltagecontrolled delay line (VCDL) is utilized to achieve awide operating frequency range from 80 MHz to 1.2GHz with a multiplication factor of 4, 5, 8, 10, 16 and20. This MDLL achieves a measured peak-to-peakjitter of 20 ps at 1.2 GHz.

Long-span girder system is used to that utilization of inner space. It has a good merit in the practical use. But because girder's stiffness and strength is law, a large deflection and a large mass problem follows. The purpose of this study is to improve the parameter influencing the deflection and strength, and to find the optimization of the section properties - the minimum -weighted structure. Pratt truss system weak to the shear resistance, so we used braces to increase shear stiffness. And optimization method is used to the model analysis in order to obtain the minimum-weight and the minimum deflection. The system is optimized virendeelizine to the non shear affected range.
Investigation of the safety evaluation method of piping system

Plumbing is necessary for boilers and heat exchangers and in buildings and power plants, including those that produce green energy. Further, among all the components used in plumbing, piping systems are subjected to high temperatures and pressures. A twisted or cracked pipe adversely affects the efficiency of a power plant and production rate of a factory or causes secondary accidents. This study investigates the safety evaluation of the SUS material, which is mainly used in boiler and heat exchanger piping. SUS is an inelastic material; therefore, the leak-before-break concept of fracture mechanics, for which various safety evaluation methods and specifications have been presented, can be applied during the design stage. However, the test is performed as a substitute for the actual pipe testing because of the high cost and difficulty level. Thus, a method to test compact pipes based on various loading ratios is developed. This study determines the test jig shape to obtain fragility similar to the theoretical value. The proposed test method is only available under certain load conditions and requires a new J-integral when the jig geometry or load ratio is changed. Therefore, the J-integral equation for each load condition is integrated to propose a J-integral equation independent of the load ratio.
