        It is important to search characteristics, economics, gathering force and user's pattern about each function because Mixed-use building contains 3 or more uses. A purpose of this study is to find out an overview of the facility for gathering user among each of functions in Mixed-use building. For the case study, the cinema at Technomart built recently is selected. Analysis of case building indicate that the facility for gathering user have an positive effect on the other facility in aspect of use and economic. In addition, it is leading to the synergy effect by connecting with the other facilities included in Mix use building.

        Bunker C 유로 오염된 해사에서 bioremediation 에 의한 미생물군집의 변화

        The changes of microbial numbers and activities during the bioremediation of beachsand contaminated with recalcitrant Bunker C fuel oil were investigated using microcosms. The numbers of total hydrocarbon degrading bacteria were rapidly increased and reached to 107cells/g sand, which was 10^4-10^5 times of increase. The numbers of aromatic hydrocarbon degraders showed similar trends but 1/10 less numbers. The aerobic heterotrophs jumped from 10^6cells/g to 10^9cells/g during 2 weeks of incubation. FDA direct count which stained only metabolically active bacteria also showed similar level and changes. The FDA hydrolysis activity was doubled by bioaugmentation and dehydrogenase activity was increased at 5∼6 times than control samples. Although the microbial numbers and activities in contaminated beachsand were not coincided exactly with the removal pattern of Bunker C fuel oil, this study showed the positive effects of bioaugmentation of microbial consortium.

        Bioaugmentation 에 의한 해사에서의 Bunker C 유의 제거

        A bacterial consortium composed of Pseudomonas sp., Acinetobacter sp. and Moraxella sp. showed the most highest degradability of Bunker C fuel oil with the inoculum size of 10^6cells/g sand and showed 37% of removal efficiency after 5 weeks of incubation, which is 3.7 times higher than uninoculated control sample. The maximum transformation rate was 100㎎ hydrocarbon/㎏ sand/day at 1∼2% of loading rates and temperatures of near 20℃, which was similar to biodegradability of crude oil in other studies. The addition of readily degradable auxiliary substrates such as glucose and powdered fish residue did not increase the biodegradation of Bunker C fuel oil due to the inhibition of hydrocarbon biodegradation by catabolite repression. Kerosene and diesel oil which were added to lower viscosity and induce cometabolism and synergism also could not increase the removal rates. Immobilized cells on vermiculite or sawdust resulted in lower degradability than untreated samples due to adsorption of hydrocarbons and decrease of contact between hydrocarbons and cells, and it is necessary to explore further to recover the degradation efficiency.

        털부처꽃 에탄올 추출물이 고지방식이를 급여한 흰쥐의 지질대사 및 항비만에 미치는 영향

        This study was carried out to investigate the effect of Lythrum salicaria L. ethanol extract on anti-obesity effects in rat fed a high fat diet for 8 weeks to induce obese rat model. Male SD rats were divided into normal group, control (high fat diet) group, positive control (Garcinia Cambogia extracts) group, high fat group supplemented with ethanol extracts of Lythrum salicaria L. (EELS). The body weight gain and control (high fat diet) were increased by a high fat diet, but decreased in the EELS. At the end of the experiment, the body weight in high fat diet groups was higher than that of normal diet group, while the body weights of EELS and positive control group were significantly reduced by 16.62%, as compared with that of high fat diet group (p < 0.05). The levels of serum triglyceride, total cholesterol in EELS group were significantly decreased as compared with high fat diet group (p < 0.05). The liver and mesenteric adipose tissue weights of control (high fat diet) increase than that for normal group, whereas EELS and positive control group were significantly decreased (p < 0.05). Levels of triglyceride in liver were significantly lower in EELS group than those in high fat diet group (p < 0.05). These results indicate that Lythrum salicaria L. extract may improve lipid metabolism and reduce fat accumulation and body weight.

        수리취 식이섬유가 Loperamide로 유발된 변비에 미치는 영향

        새로운 식이섬유 소재 발굴을 위하여 수리취 식이섬유의 변비 개선 효능을 검정한 결과, 흰쥐의 사료섭취량과 체중 변화는 정상군에 비해 수리취 식이섬유 투여군이 유의적으로 낮아 식욕억제와 비만예방에 효과가 있을 것으로 사료된다. 분변의 수분함량은 수리취 식이섬유 급이 시 식이섬유 첨가량에 따라 각각 2.4배 및 3.4배 증가하였으며, 간과 신장의 무게는 각 군간 차이가 없어 수리취 유래 식이섬유는 10% 농도에서 간과 신장에 독성이 없는 것으로 판단된다. 수리취 식이섬유 10% 급이 시 혈중 total-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol 및 중성지방은 감소하였으며, 간 조직 내 지질농도는 혈중 지질농도와 마찬가지로 total-cholesterol 및 중성지방은 정상군 및 대조군에 비해 수리취 식이섬유 투여군에서 감소하였고, HDL-cholesterol 농도는 대조군에 비해 높아지는 경향을 보였으나 유의차는 없었다. 이와 같은 결과로 보아 수리취 식이섬유는 식욕을 억제하고 혈중 지질의 농도를 감소시키며 변비의 증상을 개선하는 효과가 있는 것으로 사료된다. The effects of dietary fiber isolated from Synurus deltoides on constipation induced by loperamide (4 mg/kg/ day) were investigated. Food intake and body weight both decreased in the 5% S. deltoides dietary fiber and loperamide-treated group (SD5) and 10% S. deltoides dietary fiber and loperamide-treated group (SD10), whereas fecal water contents increased by 2.4 and 3.4-fold in the SD5 and SD10 groups, respectively. The concentrations of total-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and triglyceride in the sera of the SD5 and SD10 groups were lower than those in the control (C) group. However, the biochemical parameters, GOT (glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase), GPT (glutamic pyruvic transaminase), and glucose levels, were not affected by the level of S. deltoides. In addition, the concentrations of total-cholesterol and triglyceride in the livers of the SD5 and SD10 groups were also significantly lower than those in the control group. These results suggest that dietary fiber isolated from S. deltoides might ameliorate constipation symptoms, and lower lipid concentrations in the blood and liver.

        콜라겐 펩타이드 섭취 무모생쥐에서 UVB 조사에 의한 피부 손상에 미치는 효과 규명

        본 연구에서는 Tilapia fish에서 얻은 콜라겐 펩타이드 (TFCP)의 섭취가 UVB를 조사한 무모생쥐에서 어떠한 효과를 나타내는지 확인하고자 하였다. 무모생쥐에 1주일에 3번 UVB를 조사하여 광노화를 유도하였고, TFCP 545, 1090 mg/kg 을 매일 총 12주간 경구투여 후, 주름생성, 피부 두께, 홍반, 피부 수분량, 하이드록시프롤린, MMPs 및 filaggrin의 발현량을 측정하였다. UVB만 조사 한 군과 비교하여 UVB를 조사하고 콜라겐 펩타이드를 섭취시킨 군에서 주름생성, 피부 두께 및 홍반이 감소하였고 피부 수분량은 증가하였다. 또한, 콜라젠 양과 하이드록시프롤린의 양도 TFCP를 섭취한 군에서 UVB 조사군에 비해 유의하게 회복되는 것을 확인하였다. TFCP를 섭취한 군에서 자외선에 의해 활성화되는 MMP-2, MMP-9 뿐만 아니라 MMP-3, MMP-13의 mRNA 발현량이 억제됨을 확인하였고, filaggrin의 단백질 발현량도 증가하였다. 이러한 결과들을 통하여 TFCP의 섭취는 자외선에 의한 주름 생성을 억제하고 피부 손상을 회복시킨다는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, TFCP는 피부미용식품 소재로서 활용 가능성이 있음을 알 수 있다. This study examined the effects of collagen peptide intake extracted from the tilapia fish (TFCP) on UVB-induced skin in hairless mice. To cause photoaging, the hairless mice were exposed to UVB irradiation three times a week and TFCP was administered with 545 and 1090 mg/kg once a day for 12 weeks. The level of wrinkle formation, thickness of the skin, acute erythema, skin hydration, amount of hydroxyproline, expression of MMPs and filaggrin were measured. Wrinkle formation, thickness of the skin, and acute erythema were significantly lower and skin hydration was higher in the TFCP intake group compared to the UVB-control mice group. In addition, the amount of the collagen and hydroxyproline of the collagen peptide intake group were much higher than the UVB-control group. Oral administration of TFCP inhibited the expression of the MMP-3 and MMP-13 mRNA level as well as activated MMP-2 and MMP-9 induced by UV irradiation, and increased the protein expression of filaggrin in hairless mice skin. In summary, the oral administration of TFCP can inhibit wrinkle formation and protect the skin from UV-damage. Therefore, this study suggests that TFCP is a potential candidate material for skin functional foods.
