        칠복음(七福飮)이 Glucose Oxidase에 의해 손상(損傷)된 대뇌피질(大腦皮質) 신경세포(神經細胞)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        As the average life span have been lengthened and the rate of senile population have been raised, chronic degenerative diseases incident to aging has been increased rapidly and become a social problem. With this social background, recently, the facts that oxygen radicals(OR) have toxic effects on Central Nervous System and Peripheral Nervous System and cause neuropathy such as Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer Disease have been turned out, and accordingly lots of studies on the mechanism of the toxic effects of OR on nerves, the diseases caused by OR and the approaches to curing the diseases have been made. The purpose of this study is to examine the toxic effects caused by Glucose Oxidase(GO) and the effects of herbal extracts such as Chilbokyeum(CBY) on the treatment of the toxic effects. For this purpose, experiments with the cultured cell from the cerebrums of new born mice were done. The results of these experiments were as follows. 1. GO, a oxygen radical, decreased the survival rate of the cultured cells on NR assay and MTT assay 2. GO, a oxygen radical, increased lipid peroxidation and the amount of LDH. 3. CBY have efficacy of decreasing lipid peroxidation. 4. CBY have efficacy of decreasing the amount of LOH. From the above results, It is concluded that Chilbokyeum has marked efficacy as a treatment for the damages caused in the GO-mediated oxidative process. And Chilbokyeum is thought to have certain pharmacological effects on controlling over aging and treating Dementia. Further clinical study of this pharmacological effects of Chilbokyeum should be complemented.

        스타트 블록의 각도에 따른 하지의 각운동량 분석

Korean Journal of Sport Biomechanics, Vol. 14, No. 3, pp. 165-175, 2004. The aim of this study is to show the effect of starting block angle on the starting motion of sprinters using a crouching start. After installing starting blocks on forced platform, and having four highly comparative sprinters use the starting blocks, I analyzed the angular momentum of a crouching start. From the results of the analysis, the following conclusions could be drawn: There were differences of angular momentum both in body's X, Y, and Z axes and in the thighs' X axes, but not in the pelvis and lower legs. As to the general change of block angle, we noticed that an angular momentum for each segments was higher at an angle of 50 to 55 degrees.

        태권도 돌려차기 시 타켓 높이에 따른 근육 활성도 분석

        본 연구는 태권도 돌려차기 시 타켓 높이가 변화됨에 따라 몸통의 균형 유지를 위해 동원되는 좌·우 복직근, 외복사근, 내복사근, 척추기립근, 광배근의 활성도를 분석하는 것이 목적이었다. 본 연구에는 태권도 대학선수 8명(신장: 176.3±2.8 cm, 몸무게: 71.5±4.9 kg, 경력: 9.2±1.3 years)이 피험자로 참여하였으며, 각 근육들의 신호를 Telemyo 900(1000㎐)를 이용하여 수집하였다. 수집된 자료들은 피험자별로 분석하여 발차기 구간별로 산출된 평균값을 통계패키지 SPSS/PC 15.0에 입력한 후 근육들의 활성도를 발차기 높이에 따라 검증하기 위하여 독립 t-test를 실시하여 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 태권도 돌려차기 동작 시 1국면에서 좌 복직근, 우 내복사근, 좌 척추기립근, 우측 광배근의 평균 적분근전도 수치는 몸통 타켓에 비해 머리 타켓에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 태권도 돌려차기 동작 시 2국면에서 우 복직근, 우 외복사근, 우 내복사근, 좌 척추기립근, 우 척추기립근, 우측 광배근의 평균 적분근전도 수치는 몸통 타켓에 비해 머리 타켓에서 통계적으로 유의하게 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 태권도 돌려차기 동작 시 3국면에서 좌 외복사근, 좌 척추기립근, 우 척추기립근의 평균 적분근전도 수치는 몸통 타켓에 비해 머리 타켓에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of muscle activity during the teakwodo round-house kicking according to two kicking height(high: head, low: body). 8 collegiate male teakwondo players(height: 176.3±2.8 cm, weight: 71.5±4.9 kg, career: 9.2±1.3 years) with the right leg as dominant were chosen. The EMG(Electromyography) signals were recorded muscle activities by telemyo 900. Using SPSS/PC 15.0 program, it calculated measurement items, mean and standard deviation. Therefore, the normalized EMG data of measurement was to compare between the taekwondo kicking height used t-test(p<.05). The results of this study were as follows. 1. The left side of rectus abdominis, erector spinae and right side of inernal oblique activity were significantly greatest at the high kicking height In the 1 phase during the round-house kicking. 2. The right side of rectus abdominis, ineranl and external oblique, erector spinae, latissimus dorsi and the left side of erector spinae activity were significantly greatest at the low kicking height In the 2 phase during the round-house kicking. 3. The left side of external oblique, erector spinae and the right side of erector spinae activity were significantly greatest at the high kicking height In the 3 phase during the round-house kicking.

        실천적 인성리더 양성을 위한 미래형 수업 모델 개발 연구 ─ 성균 ‘仁’ Dream ─

        본 연구팀의 < 성균 ‘仁’ DREAM >은 동아시아 사상문화의 토대를 이루었던 고전의 지혜와 수업에 활력과 깊이를 더해주는 혁신적 교수법 ‘Flipped Classroom’의 결합을 통해, 대학인성리더양성의 미래형 교육의 미래형 실천적 수업 모델을 만드는데 목적을 두고 있다. 21세기 문턱을 넘은 세계는 인성리더에 대한 기존의 가치기준을 근본적으로 수정하고, 새로운 방식의 보완이나 또 다른 패러다임의 전환을 시도하고 있다. 근대화의 상징이었던 ‘찻잔’과 같은 기능적 지식인이나 ‘똑똑한 바보’와 같은 편협한 전문가는 더 이상 ‘최고 인재’가 될 수 없다. 대학은 앞 다투어 지성과 인성을 겸비하고, 폭 넓은 시각으로 전체를 바라볼 수 있는 전인적 인재양성을 하는데 그 방향을 선회하고 있다. 많은 대학들이 교육의 비전, 발전계획, 교육과정개편 등을 제시할 때 인성교육을 강화하고 있음을 보여주고자 노력하고 있는 사실은 이를 증명한다. 그러나 인성 교육에 대한 각 대학들의 의지에 비해 실제로 각 대학에서 학생들의 인성 함양을 위하여 무엇을 어떻게 가르쳐야 하는가라는 인성 교육 콘텐츠의 문제에 들어가면 빈약하다는 느낌을 지울 수 없다. 많은 경우가 이론교육 내지는 사회봉사라는 측면에서 벗어나고 있지 못하며, 서구식 인성이론이나 종교적 기반에 의지하는 경향성을 보이고 있다. 그런 면에서 ‘수신 · 제가ㆍ치국ㆍ평천하’로 요약되는 동아시아 고유의 가치를 현대적으로 응용하고, 학습의 주도권을 학생으로 옮겨주는 Flipped Classroom 혁신교수법 적용은 인성교육의 다원적 패러다임을 제시하고, 이론위주의 매너리즘을 극복하고 효과적으로 학생들을 교육할 수 있는 미래형 수업 모델이며, 향후 동아시아 인성리더십 교육의 새로운 패러다임을 구축하는데 기여할 것으로 전망된다. The purpose of < SUNGKYUN IN DREAM > is to establish a future class model for the practical training of moral leaders in colleges through the incorporation of an innovative teaching method, the “Flipped Classroom,” that adds vigor and depth to classical wisdom and learning, the foundation of East Asian ideas and cultures. The 21st century has attempted to fundamentally revise the standards of traditional values for moral leaders, develop new methods, and switch to a different educational paradigm. Mechanical intellectuals, as expressed in the metaphor of the “tea cup”―the symbol of modernization―or one-track specialists (so-called “smart fools”) can no longer be the “top talents.” Universities are eagerly taking turns to cultivate holistic talents who have the qualities of both intelligence and humanism and can perceive the world from diverse perspectives. This is evident from the number of universities attempting to demonstrate their advocacy for moral education through their educational visions, development plans, and curriculum reforms. However, in reality, when it comes to the contents of moral education, such as what to teach in order to cultivate character, universities inevitably convey an impression of not matching up to their declared visions and intentions. In many cases, they cannot overcome theory-oriented education or social services, and show a tendency to rely on Western personality theories or religious foundations. The innovative teaching method of the Flipped Classroom, which involves the application of East Asia-specific traditional values, as epitomized by the famous Confucian saying “Self-discipline is the basis for managing the house and governing the nation, and ultimately bringing the world peace,” to a modern setting and which provides learning initiatives for students, is a “futuristic class model” that can both overcome typical mannerisms and effectively cultivate students’ moral character. In the future, Flipped Classroom, the innovative teaching method that transforms the above mentioned saying into a reality, is expected to help establish and consolidate a new paradigm for moral leadership education in East Asia.

        미세혈뇨가 있는 소아 둔상 환자에서 콩팥 손상을 감별하기 위한 전산화단층촬영의 기준

        Purpose: Controversy exists regarding whether pediatric blunt abdominal trauma patients with microscopic hematuria should undergo radiographic evaluation. Adult patients have indications such as shock and deceleration injury. This study was conducted to suggest indications for the use of CT to detect significant renal injury in pediatric blunt abdominal trauma patients with microscopic hematuria. Methods: From January 2005 to December 2009, patients less than 18 years of age with blunt abdominal trauma and microscopic hematuria who had undergone CT were included in this retrospective study. We analyzed the correlation between microscopic hematuria, shock, deceleration injury, and American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) renal injury grade. Patients were divided into two groups: the insignificant renal injury group (AAST grade 1) and the significant renal injury group (AAST grades 2-5). We compared age, gender, mechanism of injury, degree of microscopic hematuria, evidence of shock, presence of deceleration injury, and associated injuries between the two groups. We analyzed the effect of each of the above each factors on renal injury by using a logistic regression analysis. Results: Forty-three children were included, and the median age was 15 years. Five children had a significant renal injury. No significant differences, except age and microscopic hematuria (more than 30 red blood cells per high power field (RBC/HPF), p = 0.005) existed between the insignificant and the significant injury groups. A positive correlation existed between renal injury and microscopic hematuria (rho = 0.406, p = 0.007), but renal injury was not correlated with shock and deceleration injury. In the multivariate regression analysis, microscopic hematuria was the only factor correlated with renal injury (p = 0.042). Conclusion: If a microscopic hematuria of more than 30 RBC/HPF exists, the use of CT should be considerd, regardless of shock and deceleration injury to detect significant renal injury in pediatric blunt abdominal trauma patients.         Characteristics of Leaf and Fruit in Gyeongnam Astringent Persimmon (Diospyros kaki L.) Cultivars

        This study was carried out determination of characteristics of leaf and fruit of 13 astringent persimmon (Diospyros kaki) cultivars cultivated in Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea. In leaf size, Deabonggam was smaller than that of other astringent persimmon cultivars, however, Dansungsi and Bansi were largest compared to other persimmon cultivars. Fruit width size of Sancheong Deabonggam and Bansi were the biggest. And fruit width size was the biggest in Sancheong Deabonggam. When same cultivars as Dansungsi and Godongsi were cultivated at other regions, it was not somewhat different in fruit weight. The size of fruits of the cultivar varied depending on the maturation of the fruits. In immature fruit, Curigam and Susi cultivars were the biggest and these cultivars were also were the biggest in mature-green fruit. In full ripe fruit, Hamyang Daebonggam and Hadong Daebonggam and Daeheakmu were bigger than that of other cultivars. When the astringent persimmon varieties collected in July were divided into three clusters, group A had a higher leaf area and the lightest fruit weight than the other clusters. In cluster C, the leaf area was small, but the fruit weight was classified as heavier than the other clusters. This study is expected to be widely used for breeding, conservation and processing of sweet persimmons.

        Selection of Elite Tree of Evergreen Oaks and the Growth Characteristics of Selected Individuals

        Elite trees of evergreen oaks (Quercus glauca, Quercus acuta, Quercus salicina, and Quercus gilva) were selected from Jeju Island and Wando Island. Elite trees were carried out by modifying the tree selection criteria. Elite trees were selected by height, DBH, clear length, crown diameter, leaf length, and leaf depth. Regarding height, Q. acuta was the highest, and the other three tree species were similar. Clear length showed the same trend as height. In the case of Q. glauca, height showed a positive correlation with DBH, crown diameter and leaf depth. In the case of Q. acuta, positive correlations were shown with all characteristics of DBH, and correlation analysis between DBH and crown diameter, and leaf length and leaf depth also showed positive correlations. In the Pearson correlation coefficient of Q. salicina, height showed a positive correlation with DBH. In the case of Q. gilva, height showed a positive correlation with DBH (0.539). As a result of analyzing the principal components for each of the six growth characteristics, the four species were divided into two principal components with an eigenvalue of 1 or higher, and the cumulative explanatory power was 57% or more. Based on the principal component results, it was possible to confirm the relationship between growth and trait characteristics by species. Still, it was not easy to understand the relationship among each selection tree, so a cluster analysis was performed using the principal component score. Based on the distance levels 5.0 and 6.0 of the selection tree of each species, they were classified into 4-5 clusters. It is judged that the above results can be used as data for the selection of elite trees of evergreen oaks.
