Background : Microvascular angina or syndrom X is heterogenous and encompasses different pathogenetic entities. Several studies suggest that microvascular angina have good prognosis and occurs predominantly in postmenopausal women. Lipoprotein (a), total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride, homocystein, CRP and fibrinogen are the independent risk factor of acute coronary syndrome and are the chief underlying cause of atherosclerosis. We investigated clinical characteristics and markers in patients with microvascular angina. Methods : We studies 23 patients diagnosed with microvascular angina and 16 control group with negative treadmill exercise test and no significant coronary angiogram. We investigated clinical characteristics in patients group and evaluated symptom during a follow-up period of 4.2± 2.5 month. Exercise time in treadmill exercise test was compared between patients and control group. We assessed the level of markers, such as lipoprotein (a), total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride, homocystein, CRP and ESR in two groups. Results : There is no difference in age between two groups. Patients group had a tendency to increase in female, hypertension, DM, and smoking history, but there was no statistical significance difference. Exercise duration time was significantly decreased in patients with microvascular angina (p<0,05). Serum lipoprotein (a), total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholestrol, Triglyceride, ESR, Fibrinogen and Homocystein value were no significant difference between microvascular angina and control group. Only CRP was significantly high in patients with microvascular angina (p<0.05). Conclusion : There was no statistical significance difference in age, sex, hypertension, DM and smoking history between two groups but patients group had a tendency to increase the prevalence in hypertension, DM and smoking history, female. Also, Symptom improvement and disappearance in follow-up was presented in 11 patients of 19(57.9%). Exercise tolerance was worse in patients group than control group. CRP value was significantly higher in patients group than control group. There was no statistical significance difference in lipoprotein (a), total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride, homocystein, ESR and Fibrinogen between two groups.

Vertically well aligned multiwall carbon nanotubes were grown on nickel coated different substrates by plasma enhanced hot filament chemical vapor deposition at low temperatures below 650$^{\circ}C$. Acetylene and ammonia gas were used as the carbon source and a catalyst. The surface roughness of nickel layer increased as NH3 etching time increased. The diameters of the nanotubes decreased and the density of nanotubes increased as NH3 etching time increased. diameter of nanotube was 30 to 70 nm. Nickel cap was observed on the top of the grown nanotube and very thin carbon amorphous layer was fonde on the nickel cap.

본 연구는 120년간 러시아어로 번역된 한국문학의 출판 현황, 동향, 특징을 조사·분석함으로써 한국학의 성과로서 한국문학의 러시아어 번역사를 고찰하고, 러시아의 한국학이 보다 발전할 수 있는 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석 결과 단행본 기준으로 333종이 집계되었다. 1) 장르별 현황을 분석한 결과 소설이 가장 큰 비중을 차지하였으며, 수교 이후 현대 소설만 크게 늘어나 장르적 다양성이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 2) 작가별 현황을 분석한 결과 수교 이후 작가의 폭이 크게 늘어났으나, 고전 소설과 시에서 새로운 작품 발굴이 이루어지지 않는 것으로 드러났다. 3) 번역사별 현황을 분석한 결과 수교 이후 한국인 번역 참여 및 외국인과 한국인과의 공역이 늘었음을 확인하였다. 그러나 대부분 1-2종 단발성 번역에 그치고 있으며, 고전문학에서 한국인 번역사의 참여가 저조한 것으로 드러났다. 4) 출판사별 현황을 분석한 결과 특정 출판사가 한국문학 번역서의 약 30%를 담당하고 있고, 70%의 출판사가 1~2종의 단발성 출판에 그치고 있었다. 이를 기반으로 본 연구는 러시아에서의 한국학 발전을 위해 한국문학의 장르적 다양성 확보, 한국학 관련 전문 서적 번역의 확대, 고전 문학 번역의 활성화와 고전 전문 번역가 양성, 한국문학 전문 번역가와 전문 출판사의 확대를 제안한다.

Antibiotics used for suppressing Agrobacterium in plant transformation procedure might have negligible effects on plant tissues and regeneration. The effects of antibiotics on growth suppression of Agrobacterium and plant regeneration were investigated for enhancing Agrobacterium-mediated transformation using wheat mature embryos. Antibiotics tested, except carbenicillin, were able to suppress that embryos were coated with a layer of Agrobacterium cells in callus induction medium. Agrobacterium growth was suppressed minimally at 50 mg/l of timentin, while cefotaxime and clavamox were completely suppressed at relative high concentration of 250 mg/l. In the treatment of carbenicillin, initiation of growth suppression of Agrobacterium occurred at 750 mg/l of concentration because Agrobacterium KYRT1 contains the carbenicillin resistant gene. In Agrobacterium inoculation, effects of antibiotics were significantly different on the rate of callus induction and shoot formation. Almost embryos were induced calli at 50 mg/l of timentin whereas callus induction rate was achieved above 90% at 100 mg/l and 250 mg/l of cefotaxime and clavamox, respectively. Shoot formation rate was higher in the treatment of timentin than that of cefotaxime and clavamox at 500 mg/l of concentration, respectively. Timentin can be used as a good antibiotics in Agrobacterium-mediated wheat transformation.

Purpose: Androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS) is a rare X-linked recessive disorder caused by unresponsiveness to androgens because of mutations in the AR gene. Here, we investigated the clinical outcomes and molecular spectrum of AR variants in patients with AIS attending a single academic center. Methods: This study included 19 patients with AIS who were confirmed by molecular analysis of AR. Clinical features and endocrinological findings were retrospectively collected, including presenting features, external genitalia, sex of rearing, timing of gonadectomy, pubertal outcomes, and sex hormone levels. Molecular analysis of AR was performed using Sanger, targeted gene panel, or whole-exome sequencing. Results: Among all 19 patients, 14 (74%) were classified as having complete AIS (CAIS), whereas 5 (26%) had partial AIS (PAIS). All patients with CAIS, and 3 patients with PAIS were reared as female. One patient with CAIS manifested a mixed germ cell tumor at the age of 30 years. Molecular analysis of AR identified 19 sequence variants; 12 (63%) were previously reported, and the remaining 7 (37%) were novel. Missense mutations were the most common type (12 of 19, 63%), followed by small deletions, nonsense mutations, an insertion, and a splice site mutation. Conclusion: Here, we describe the clinical outcomes and molecular characteristics of 19 Korean patients with AIS. Patients with PAIS manifested various degrees of masculinization of the external genitalia. Nonsense and frameshift mutations were frequent in patients with CAIS, whereas patients with PAIS harbored exclusively missense mutations.
