본 연구는 디자인 분야와 마케팅 분야의 전략을 종합하여 전략적 연결점을 찾아내 요소들 간 융합을 이루는 사례를 제시하여 브랜드·스페이스·마케팅에서 새로운 방향성과 아이디어를 제시하는데 목적을 둔다. 이에 본 연구는 2017년 9월~12월까지 ㈜애경과 산업 연계하여 진행된 숙명여대 환경디자인학과 ‘브 랜딩·스타일링·마케팅’ 교과목에서 도출된 ‘fill the red, feel the red’ 프로젝트를 마케팅 및 디자인 프로세스, 결과물을 도출하여 그 과정들을 밝힌다. 아울러 본 연구는 브랜드 스페이스 마케팅에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해, 브랜드 스페이스(팝업스토어)를 개발 및 스타일링하며 ㈜애경의 화장품 브랜드 ‘LUNA’를 브 랜딩, 스타일, 마케팅적 측면에서 종합적으로 연계하여 도출되는 과정들을 제안함으로서 향후 브랜드 스페이스 디자인과 마케팅 분야에 체계적이고 창의적인 방법들로 결과물을 도출하는데 기초자료로 활용하는데 의의가 있다.
Identification of the most active interleukin-32 isoform

<P>Summary</P><P>Cytokines are crucial in host defence against pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. A newly described cytokine, interleukin-32 (IL-32), induces various proinflammatory cytokines (tumour necrosis factor-&agr;, IL-1&bgr;, IL-6) and chemokines in both human and mouse cells through the nuclear factor-&kgr;B and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase inflammatory signal pathway. The IL-32 primarily acts on monocytic cells rather than T cells. In an attempt to isolate the IL-32 soluble receptor, we used an IL-32 ligand-affinity column to purify neutrophil proteinase 3, which is a serine proteinase involved in many inflammatory diseases. IL-32 has biological activity associated with <I>Mycobacterium tuberculosis</I> and chronic proinflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. IL-32 is transcribed as six alternative splice variants and the biological activity of each individual isoform remains unknown. Here, we cloned the complementary DNA of the four IL-32 isoforms (&agr;, &bgr;, &ggr; and &dgr;) that are the most representative IL-32 transcripts. To produce recombinant protein with a high yield, the amino acids of two cysteine residues were mutated to serine residues, because serine residues are not conserved among different species. The multi-step purified recombinant IL-32 isoform proteins were assessed for their biological activities with different cytokine assays. The &ggr; isoform of IL-32 was the most active, although all isoforms were biologically active. The present study will provide a specific target to neutralize endogenous IL-32, which may contribute to basic and clinical immunology.</P>

본 연구는 서울시를 중심으로, 오프라인 음반 매장의 현황과 지리적 분포에 대하여 살펴보았다. 특히 매체의 발달로 음악감상 방식의 변화에 따라 생긴 온라인 음반 매장의 입지에 대해 주목하였다. 직접 현장조사를 통해 서울시 내 음반매장 107곳의 입지와 폐점의 위치를 알아보았다. 또한 실물 매체를 파는 음반 매장을 오프라인 음반 매장과 온라인 음반 매장으로 나누고 매장의 특징에 따라 음반만 판매하는 곳, 대형서점과 연계된 곳, 음반을 제외하고 다른 물품도 같이 취급하여 파는 곳으로 분류하였다. 온라인 음반 매장의 경우 공간적 한계가 없는 온라인 입지의 특성상 매장 수는 오프라인 매장보다 더 많을 것으로 예상된다. 전체 음반매장의 43%가 용산구, 중구, 종로구 3구에 입지하였으며 유동인구가 높은 구에 밀집하여 위치하였다. 음반 매장은 주로 지하철역에서 도보로 10분 이내에 접근이 가능한 역세권과 교통이 편리한 곳에 주로 위치하고 있다. 또한 음반 매장은 용산구의 전자상가나 중구의 회현 지하쇼핑센터 같은 매장, 쇼핑 센터 밀집지역에 높은 분포를 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 종로구, 강남구, 마포구, 노원구 순으로 네 개의 구에 위치한 음반매장이 많이 폐점하였으며 마포구 홍대 부근의 매장도 폐점을 하였다. 그 이유로 MP3같은 새로운 대체재 개발로 인해 오프라인 매장의 매출이 감소하여 온라인 매장으로 입지를 옮긴 것과 젠트리피케이션으로 인한 임대료의 상승을 감당하지 못한 것으로 판단된다. This study analyzes the current status and distributions of the offline record stores and focuses on the position of the online record stores which has changed due to the flow of the media development in Seoul. This study is based on the direct data from field studies, surveys and the existing document data. We had on-site survey 146 places, and checked 107 record stores and 39 going-out-of-business stores in Seoul. The results of this research are summarized as following: 43% of the total record stores are located in the three districts of Yongsan, Junggu, and Jongno, and are concentrated in the high-flow population. The record stores are mainly located in convenient areas with easy access to the station and within a 10-minute walk from the subway stations. Also, record stores are highly distributed in the shopping centers such as Yongsan Electronics Market in Yongsan and Hoehyeon Underground Shopping Center in Jung-gu. Four districts have the largest number of closed stores in the order of Jongno, Gangnam, Mapo, Nowon. Many famous and frequent shoppers in nearby Hongik University in Mapo were not able to avoid closure. A store, which had many famous and frequent customers, could not avoid closing because of the development of new alternatives such as MP3 which had reduced the sales of offline stores and shifted to online stores and the lack of merchants who can"t afford increasing rent due to gentrification. A music store selling real media is divided into an offline music store and an online music store. According to the characteristics of the store, it is classified as places selling only music records, places linked to a large bookstores, and places selling with other items. A total of 162 online music stores could be identified, but the number of online stores is expected to be much larger than that of offline stores due to the nature of online presence without space limitations.
Diagnostic value of peripheral blood immune profiling in colorectal cancer

Purpose: Little is known about the clinical value of peripheral blood immune profiling. Here, we aimed to identify colorectal cancer (CRC)-related peripheral blood immune cells and develop liquid biopsy-based immune profiling models for CRC diagnosis. Methods: Peripheral blood from 131 preoperative patients with CRC and 174 healthy controls was analyzed by flow cytometry and automated hematology. CRC-related immune factors were identified by comparing the mean values of immune cell percentages and counts. Subsequently, CRC diagnostic algorithms were constructed using binary logistic regression. Results: Significant differences were observed in percentages and counts of white blood cells, lymphocytes, neutrophils, regulatory T cells, and myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) of patients and controls. The neutrophil/lymphocyte and Th1/Th2 ratios were also significantly different. Likewise, the percentages and counts of peripheral blood programed death 1, cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen 4, B- and T-lymphocyte attenuator, and lymphocyte activation gene-3 were higher in patients with CRC. The binary logistic regression model included 12 variables, age, CD3<SUP><SUP>+</SUP></SUP>%, NK%, CD4<SUP>+</SUP>CD279<SUP>+</SUP>%, CD4<SUP>+</SUP>CD25<SUP>+</SUP>%, CD4<SUP>+</SUP>CD152<SUP>+</SUP>%, CD3<SUP>+</SUP>CD366<SUP>+</SUP>%, CD3<SUP>+</SUP>CD272<SUP>+</SUP>%, CD3<SUP>+</SUP>CD223<SUP>+</SUP>%, CD158b<SUP>-</SUP>CD314<SUP>+</SUP>CD3<SUP>-</SUP>CD56<SUP>+</SUP>%, Th2%, and MDSCs cells/μL, for the prediction of cancer. Results of retrospective and prospective evaluation of the area under the curve, sensitivity, and specificity were 0.980 and 0.940, 91.53% and 85.80%, and 93.50% and 86.20%, respectively. Conclusion: Peripheral blood immune profiling may be valuable in evaluating the immunity of CRC patients. Our liquid biopsy-based immune diagnostic method and its algorithms may serve as a novel tool for CRC diagnosis. Future largescale studies are needed for better characterization of its diagnostic value and potential for clinical application.
