      • 혈압 및 혈관손상에 대한 Candesartan과 Cilnidipine의 병용투여 효능 평가

        This study was designed to evaluate the effect of candesartan combined with cilnidipine on high blood pressure in spontaneous hypertensive rats (SHRs) and vascular injury induced by cuff-placed neointimal hyperplasia model. To measure blood pressure, low and high doses of candesartan (0.765 and 1.53 mg/kg/day) and cilnidipine (0.96 and 1.92 mg/kg/day) alone or in combination were orally administered in telemetered-SHRs for 2 weeks. To examine the protective action of vascular injury, high doses of candesartan (1.53 mg/kg/day) and cilnidipine (1.92 mg/kg/day) alone or in combination was orally administered for 2 weeks in cuff-induced neointimal hyperplasia model of C56BL/6 mice. As a result, high doses of candesartan and cilnidipine in combination decreased in systolic blood pressure (SBP) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) as compared with monotherapy of high dose of each drug, but not statistically significant. In vascular injury model, candesartan and cilnidipine in combination decreased BrdU-positive cells in neointima and vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation as compared with monotheray of each drug. Thus, these results indicate that the combination of candesartan with cilnidipine is effective for the protection of vascular injury, suggesting this combination to be a valuable tool for the management of vascular remodelling such as restenosis.

      • 핏치를 Matrix-precursor로 한 탄소/탄소 복합체의 성질

        Using aluminum chloride and copper chloride as a catalyst, coal tar pitches were heat treated and converted into pitch containing more aromatic hydrocarbons. The pitches were used as a matrix precursor for carbon/carbon composite. As a result, a composite after first carbonization up to 1000℃ was shown 4-7% of volume contration. The contration was improved compared with that of resin matrix precursor. In order to increase the density of composite, the composite was imptegnated and recarbonized 4 times with molten pitch and increased up to 1.72g/㎤. The composite based coal tar pitch was shown in higher modulus than the composite based with resin.

        이황화탄소 중독자들의 노출중단 이후의 심박동수 변이

        목적: 2000년도에 이황화탄소 중독증 환자들과 대조군의 심박동수 변이를 비교하여 이황화탄소 중독증 환자들의 심박동수 변이가 대조군에 비해 유의하게 낮다는 연구보고가 있었다. 당시의 연구가 이황화탄소 노출이 중단된 상태에서 이황화탄소 중독자들의 건강 문제를 연구했다는 점에 의의가 있으나 연구 결과를 해석하는데 있어 제한점들이 있었다. 이 연구는 2000년도에 수행하였던 연구의 제한점을 극복하고 이황화탄소 노출이 중단된 이후의 이황화탄소 중독자들의 심혈관계 상태를 심박동수 변이를 이용하여 평가해보고자 하였다. 방법: 이황화탄소 중독증으로 진단받은 환자 122명과 환자군의 연령대와 성별 빈도에 따라 무작위 추출한 112명을 대조군으로 선정하였다. 자기 기입식 설문지와 건강검진을 통해 연령, 성별, 신장, 체중, 흡연, 음주, 규칙적 운동, 질병력, 직업력, 흉부 방사선 촬영, 심전도 측정을 실시하였다. 연구 대상자들은 의자에 앉힌 상태에서 5분 동안 심박동수 변이를 측정하였다. 이 연구에서 측정한 심박동수 변이 지표들은 정상 RR간격의 표준편차(standard deviation of all norma-to-normal intervals, SDNN), 인접한 RR간격들의 차이를 제곱의 합의 평균의 제곱근(square root of the mean of the sum of squares of differences between adjacent normal-to-normal intervals, RMSSD). 저주파영역(low frequency power, LF: 0.04~0.15Hz), 고주파 영역 (high frequency power, HF:0.15~0.4Hz), 전체 주파수 강도(total power, TP), 저주파/고주파 비 (LF/HF ratio)이다. 결과: 단변량 분석에서 이황화탄소 중독자들의 모든 심박동수 변이 지표들이 대조군에 비하여 낮았다. 다중선형회귀분석에서 이황화탄소 중독은 RMSSD를 유의하게 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다.(P<0.05). 결론: 이 연구는 이황화탄소 노출이 중단된 상태에서도 이황화탄소 중독자들에게 심혈관계와 관련된 건강문제가 있을 수 있음을 시사한다. Objectives: A previous study conducted in 2000 measuring the heart rate variability (HRV) of carbon disulfide (CS_(2))-poisoned subjected suggested that their HRV was reduced after exposure cessation. However, the study was limited by the following procedural limitations: (1) only 71 CS_(2)-poisoned subjects participated, (2) no females participated, and (3) the CS_(2)-poisoned subjects were older than the controls. This study was therefore conducted to overcome these limitations of the earlier study. Methods: The study subjects comprised 122 retired workers with CS_(2) poisoning and the same number of age- and sex-matched controls. Information on individual age, sex, height, wight, smoking history, alcohol drinking, regular exercise, medical and occupational history, chest x-ray, and ECG recording of the two groups was collected though a self-administered questionnaire and a medical examination. Standard Deviation of NN intervals (SDNN), Root-Mean-Square of Successive Differences (RMSSD), Total Power (TP), Low Frequency (LF), High Frequency (HF), and LF/HF ratio were measured as HRV indices for 5 minutes in the sitting position. Results: Univariate analysis revealed that all HRV indices of CS_(2)-poisoned subjected were lower than those of the controls. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that CS_(2) poisoning had negative association with all HRV indices and that its association with RMSSD was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions: This study suggests that CS_(2)-poisoned subjects continue to have reduced HRV, even though the exposure has ceased.

        일개 철강 사업장에서 대사증후군의 위험요인과 γ-GTP와의 관련성

        목적: 대사증후군은 심혈관계 질환의 이환과 이로 인한 사망률을 증가시키는 것으로 알려져 있으며, 비만, 고 중성지방혈증, 저 HDL-콜레스테롤혈증, 고혈압, 공복 시 고혈당 등에서 3개 항목 이상을 만족한 경우로 정의된다. 간기능 검사 중 γ-GTP는 간세포 손상에 대한 생체지표로 흔히 사용되는 검사이며, 고혈압, 제 2형 당뇨 및 뇌졸중과도 관련이 있음이 밝혀져 있다. 이번 연구에서는 일개 철강 사업장내 근로자들의 대사증후군의 유병률과 위험요인 및 대사증후군과 γ-GTP와의 관련성을 알아보았다. 방법: 수도권 소재 일개 철강 사업장 남자 근로자 1,604명을 대상으로 대사증후군의 구성요소(체질량지수, 중성지방, HDL-콜레스테롤, 수축기와 이완기 혈압, 공 복 시 혈당)와 γ-GTP, 교대근무 여부, 음주력, 흡연력, 운동 여부 및 가족병력 등을 조사하여 분석하였다. 결과: 일개 철강사업장근로자에 있어서 대사증후군의 유병률은 21.3%, 연령 보정 유병률은 15.5%이었다. 대사증후군에 영향을 미치는 역학적 요인은 연령(OR: 1.063, 95% CI: 1.033-1.094), 음주(OR: 1.657, 95% CI: 1.175. 2.337) 및 흡연(OR: 1.359, 95% CI: 1.017. 1.816) 등 이었고, 교대근무는 고혈압(OR: 1.329, 95% CI: 1.038-1.700)에만 영향을 주었다. 고 γ-GTP 혈증군에서 대사증후군의 구성인자인 비만, 고 중성지방혈증, 고혈압 및 공복시 고혈당의 위험도는 각각 2.625, 3.384, 1.887, 2.406이었고, 대사증후군의 위험도는 3.345이었다. 결론: 이번 연구결과로 볼 때, 철강 사업장에서 대사증후군에 대한 적극적인 관리를 위하여 금주와 금연 등 생활행태 개선을 위한 보건교육이 요구되었고, γ-GTP가 대사증후군의 조기 색출지표로서의 가능성이 제기되었다. Objectives: This study was performed to estimate the prevalence and possible risk factors of the metabolic syndrome in steel-mill workers, and to evaluate the relation between γ-glutamyltransferase (γ-GTP) and the metabolic syndrome. Methods: The study subjects comprised 1,604 male steel-mill workers. The indices of metabolic syndrome, such as BMI, triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol, blood pressure, fasting glucose, and γ-GTP were analyzed in each subject. We collected information about demographic characteristics, behavioral patterns, such as alcohol drinking, smoking, and exercise, and family medical history through a self-administered questionnaire. Statistical analysis was done by using the chi-square test, Mantel-Haenszel trend test and logistic regression model. Results: The crude and age-adjusted prevalences of the metabolic syndrome were 21.3% and 15.5%, respectively, in the steel-mill workers. Age (OR: 1.063, 95% CI: 1.033-1.094), alcohol drinking (OR: 1.657, 95% CI: 1.175-2.337) and smoking (OR: 1.359, 95% CI: 1.017-1.816) were risk factors for the metabolic syndrome. Meanwhile, shift work showed a significant relation with hypertension (OR: 1.329, 95% CI: 1.038-1.700), but not with other metabolic syndrome components. However, tenure, exercise and family medical history were not significant factors for the metabolic syndrome in this study. The risk ratio of the metabolic syndrome (OR: 3.345, 95 % CI: 2.534-4.416) and its components, such as obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, hypertension and hyperglycemia, were higher in the high γ-GTP group (≥63 IU/Ɩ ) than in the controls (<63 IU/Ɩ ). Conclusions: These results confirm the need for health education to control the metabolic syndrome by improving behavioral patterns, such as alcohol drinking and smoking, in factory workers. In addition, it is suggested that γ-GTP might be a useful candidate in screening for the metabolic syndrome.

        The purpose of this research is to work out the injury time, injury place, injury part, cause of injury, medical treatment, preventions against weight throwers at national physical education high schools and management and protection of them and advance of competence. As a result of questioning total 148 persons of shot putters (M20, F17), discus throwers(M21, F20), javelin throwers(M22, F20) and hammer throwers(M18, F10) who are registered at the Korean Amateur Athletic Federation, we come to the following conclusions. 1. As a result of comparison and analysis of the training programme where weight throwers were frequently injured by the event, the meaningful difference was obtained. Javelin throwers were injured most frequently while throwing training. 2. As a result of comparison and analysis of the meaningful difference of part which injury happened most frequently while throwers trained usually, the meaningful difference was obtained. Javelin throwers’ elbow injury was very frequent. 3. As a result of comparison and analysis of most frequently injured part by the event while weight throwing, the meaningful difference was obtained. Discus throwers’ waists were mostly injured while throwing. 4. As a result of comparison and analysis of frequently injured part by the event while weigh throwing training, the meaningful difference was obtained. Injury in waist part happened more frequently in rotary motion event than rectilineal motion event while weight throwing. 5. As a result of comparison and analysis of the event that throwers were injured frequently by sex while weight training, the meaningful difference was obtained. Women weight throwers were injured while jump squat training. 6. As a result of comparison and analysis of treatment period after injury by sex, the meaningful difference was obtained. It took women 4 weeks more to cure up and it was not short. 7. That difference that keep in mind method that can protect Shanghai when saw as exercise injury experience according to comparative analysis result by item appeared and rectilineal movement item selected most by method that mental power can protect Shanghai both item beam egg number It Eotda. 8. As a result of comparison and analysis of the season when thrower were injured frequently by experience, the meaningful difference was obtained. Throwers with below 1-4 year experience were injured frequently in summer. 9. As a result of comparison and analysis of the training time when weight throwers were injured frequently by result, the meaningful difference was obtained. Weight throwers who have never won the prize were injured frequently while training in the afternoon. 10. As a result of comparison and analysis of throwing motion when weight throwers were injured frequently by experience while throwing training, the meaningful difference was obtained. Throwers with below 1-4 year experience were injured frequently on waist twisting motion in the finish motion.

        In this paper, the plasma lighting system(PLS) excited by the commercial high power magnetron is developed. The design concepts are based on maximizing the huninous efficacy in conjunction with the miniaturization of waveguide system Furthermore the fine tuning is simplified by using only one stub, and the impedance matching is maximized by introducing the tapering technique. The experimental results show that the luminous efficacy can be dramatically improved by the proposed design method.
