자크 랑시에르의 문학의 정치의 재맥락화: 진은영의 문제제기를 중심으로

Eunyoung Jin`s “The Re-distribution of the Sensible: On Poetry of the 2000s,” which was published in the journal “Creation and Criticism (Winter, 2008)” caused a great stir in Korean literature and triggered various follow-up discussions. In this piece, Eunyoung Jin made references mostly from “Politics of Aesthetics: The Distribution of the Sensible” by Jacques Ranciere, a French scholar of politics and aesthetics. Her referential focus was to newly consider the relationship between literature and politics. Even afterwards, Eunyoung Jin had drawn from Ranciere new thoughts that could turn a dichotomously contrasting relationship between a poet’s participation in reality and poetry’s artistic value into a (more) productive interactional relationship. In order to plan and practice a reformation of senses and thoughts whose literary and artistic creativity are based on social customs and on a larger scale, a new reformation of the society’s political geography, Eunyong Jin underwent various activities to re-contextualize Ranciere’s argument on constant reformation of “The Aesthetic Regime of Art” for situations in Korea. Writers who actively engaged in situations such as the Yongsan disaster and the Duriban struggle, while choosing to share various poetic tendencies and texts that hover between a so-called dichotomy of art and society are one good example. Ensuring that poetry and literature will maintain a continuous openness toward fluid and complex realities of the society, thereby giving the sensibility of a poet himor herself new artistic and political motives and reset the relationship between literature and politics above a new horizon was the position held by and practiced by Eunyoung Jin. Looking back at Eunyoung Jin’s work from a socio-economic context, her work is interlocked with the need to fundamentally change the way of thinking in respect of Korean society and the current economic system based on capitalism and a series of domestic and foreign situations such as the 2008 Candlelight Protest (in South Korea), the Financial crisis of 2008 that originated in the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis and the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers and later spread worldwide and the Yongsan disaster in the beginning of 2009. These situations provided an opportunity to newly refresh in mind the Korean literature’s history of rapid advancement along with the modernization process of and also of rapid decline in the 1990s, i.e., the memory of literature`s revolutionary tendency. However, this memory is also connected with the evils of thought and practice that treat literature as a tool for revolutionary movement(s). Literary practice to confront the socio-economic contradiction that was structural and fixed from an abstract social-scientific perspective often simplified the reality of society where more diverse, complex and foreign situations coexisted and interpenetrated one another. In this regard, the reason Eunyoung Jin actively accepted Jacques Ranciere’s argument that emphasized the independent and creative confrontation of literary works, at least to overcome the abovementioned issue, rather than obsessing over the socio-economic foundation and the structural contradiction can be understood. In the end, regardless of the different socio-economic contexts between France and Korea, (it is clear that) the main idea for both Jacques Ranciere and Eunyoung Jin is the study and practice of possibilities. Eunyoung Jin is faithful to Ranciere’s fundamental principle that there is no pre-determined truth. Therefore, although the task of critically reviewing Eunyoung Jin`s understanding of Ranciere from a perspective of theoretical accuracy is necessary and has meaning, but is not without limitations as the focus of the problem is the study and practice of possibilities.

Effect of Ionizing Radiation on Rat Tissue: Proteomic and Biochemical Analysis

<P>Reactive oxygen species (ROS), generated by ionizing radiation, has been implicated in its effect on living tissues. We confirmed the changes in the oxidative stress markers upon irradiation. We characterized the changes in the proteome profile in rat liver after administering irradiation, and the affected proteins were identified by MALDI-TOF-MS and ESI-MS/MS. The identified proteins represent diverse sets of proteins participating in the cellular metabolism. Our results demonstrated that proteomics analysis is a useful method for characterization of a global proteome change caused by ionizing radiation to unravel the molecular mechanisms involved in the cellular responses to ionizing radiation.</P>

Analysis of monitoring Road-kill in Odaesan National Park

We surveyed mammalian roadkill at the National Route 6 (Jin-gogae to Songcheon, 18㎞) and a local road 446 (Odaesan National Park office to Sangwon-temple, 12㎞) in Odaesan National Park. Data of the surveys were analyzed by year, month, and species. Roadkills of 226 individuals were found at the survey areas. Of them, the road-killed 131 mammal individuals, 44 bird individuals, 40 reptile individual and 11 amphibian individuals were found during the survey period. High ratio of the road-kills was observed in mammals than the other animals. Among mammalian species, high ratio of the road-kills was observed in squirrels. There were road-kills of three endangered species, containing otters, yellow-throated marten and leopard cats. According to the analyses of annual road-kills, roadkills of 104 cases were occurred and highly frequent in 2014, following by roadkills of 81 cases in 2015, and then those of 41 cases in 2016. Most ases of the roadkills occurred in summer (June to September). The results will contribute to establishing management for reduction of roadkill in Odaesan National Park.

The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the electromyograpic activity between Korean and Taiwanese of Ippon-Seoinage (one-armed shoulder throw) as Tokuinage (favorite and major technique) in Judo. The subject (Tori, attacker), who was 4 Korean and Taiwanese representative judoists from 2007 to 2009 years, respectively, Uke (defender) was a Judo-doll made by Kim, Eui-hwan etc. (2007), whole body of judo-doll was fixed, upper body was flexible 35 degree forward and backward, lower was 15 degree, was used to muscles activities measured by surface-electrode & electromyography. Subject performed 5 successful trials respectively, with parter (Uke) was resistance (R-0%) of judo-doll. Muscle activities were obtained from the electromyography analysis. Muscle activities in all phase, Taiwanese were lower than Korean, right Bicep, Trapezius, Tibialis muscles in Kuzushi phase, right Bicep, right Trapezius, left Rectus abdominus in Tsukuri and Kake phase, different between Taiwanese and Korean were signify (p < .5).

Methylation Status and Expression of E-cadherin in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinomas Compared to Benign Oral Epithelial Lesions

Expression of invasion/metastasis suppressor, E-cadherin, is reduced in many types of human carcinomas. Although somatic and germline utations in the CDH1, which encodes the human E-cadherin, have frequently been reported in cases with diffuse gastric and lobular breast ancers, irreversible genetic inactivations are rare in other human carcinomas. Recently, it has been well documented that some genes in human cancers may be inactivated by altered CpG methylation. Herein, we determined the expression and methylation status of E-cadherin in oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) by immunohistochemistry and methylation-specific PCR. The expression of E-cadherin was significantly higher in the well-differentiated oral SCCs than the moderately or poorly differentiated ones. None of eight tested benign pithelial hyperplasias showed aberrant methylation, whereas five of 12 oral squamous cell carcinomas showed aberrant methylation. When we compared E-cadherin expression with methylation status, oral SCCs with normal methylation showed a higher expression of E-cadherin than those with methylation. These findings suggest that aberrant CpG methylation of CDH1 promoter region is closely associated with transcriptional inactivation and might be involved in tumor progression of the oral mucosa.

Background: With reports on the relation between smoking and depression appearing since 1980, it has become clear that depression is one of the psychodynamics of smoking, though there has been little or no progress made in the study of whether or not there is indeed a relation between depression and nicotine dependence. Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of depression on the amount and period of smoking and nicotine dependence among university man student smokers. Method: In periodical examination between 14 and 21, May, 2003, using 170 university male. The CES-D(Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression) Scale and the FTQ(Fagerstrom Tolerance Qustionnaire) were utilized to measure the level of depression and nicotine dependency. The amount of smoking was calculated based on the number of cigarette used. Result: Results indicated that depression had something to do with amount of smoking. Nicotine dependence also was related to depression but total value was relatively low. finally the period of smoking had nothing to do with depression. Conclusion: The results of this study revealed that the amount of smoking of university man student smokers was very high. Both the amount of smoking and nicotine dependence were affected by levels of depression. Accordingly psychiatric nursing access such as emotional support is needed to manage depression and decrease smoking.

菟絲子 의效能에 대한 硏究

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Semen Cuscutae on phenylephrine(PE) and KCI induced contraction of isolated rat thoracic aorta. Contractile force was measured with force displacement transducer under 1.5 g loading tension. Contraction evoked by PE (ED_(50)) was relaxed significantly by Semen Cuscutae. The mean percent relaxing of PE induced contraction was 60.6% (p<0.01) after 300 ㎕/㎖ Semen Cuscutae, but the mean percent contraction of KCI induced contraction was 10.4% (p<0.05) after 300 ㎕/㎖ Semen Cuscutae. Vasorelaxation by Semen Cuscutae was significantly reduced after with and without endothelial cells. Pretreatment of aortic rings with L-NAME (100 μM), a nitric oxide synthase inhibitor, indomethacin (3 μM), an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase, methylene blue (10 μM), guanylyl cyclase inhibitor, propranolol (1 μM), a β-adrenoceptor antagonist, atropine (1 μM), a muscarinic receptor antagonist and diltiazem (10 μM), a Ca^(2+)-channel blocker was recovered the effect aorta. These results indicate that Semen Cuscutae can relax EP induced contraction of isolated rat thoracic aorta and that this increasing contraction related to epithelium and various effect.

Scale Invariant Feature Transform을 이용한 눈동자 영역 추출

This paper is the eye region which is used with confirmation element of face image it uses the SIFT and it extracting method proposes. The eye region image where becomes model and it composes the keypoint descriptor which is a SIFT result of the input image which it will extract. It uses the keypoint descriptor which and creates it composes a each feature vector, and the judgement where affine transform should have existed on after two feature points which adjusts with each other, against the feature point field which confront above half as the case eye region where the with each other same affine transform will exist it judged. There is not a test result learning process, more quickly recognition method of existing methods than the possibility of getting the result which extracts the region it was.

민간 체육시설 이용자의 만족도에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is on examining closely and precisely the correlations between the realities with using sporting centers and satisfaction of people using them. Firstly, in order to achieve that purpose, I have analyzed the differences in people's satisfaction that are caused by characteristics of the Population Statistics. Then I have studied about effects of realities on people using the sporting centers to the satisfaction. In this research, some health clubs in Teagu have been focused on the frame to be required. I picked 250 people randomly first but excluded 67 people who have been considered as being answered with insincerity or have been omitted due to insufficiency on the final questionnaire, which means finally 193 people were completely answered. This study includes totally 42 questions that are made up of 4 Population statistical questions about tools used as assessments, 3 questions about causes of the realities of sporting activities, and 35 questions about causes of the satisfaction rate by using some analyzing methodologies that are used, such as the frequency analytics, t-test, One way anova, scheffe's post-inspection, interrelationship analytics, regression analytics, and so on. Could get some meaningful results like following with using those methodologies mentioned before. Firstly, I could find out meaningful differences between different categories, amongst the Population Statistics characteristics in people using the sport centers, that were leader's ages, equipment satisfaction differentiated by the standards of education in the sporting programs, equipment satisfaction in the leader's different wages, and so on. Secondly, in the lower leveled realities causes, the equipment satisfaction has been revealed statistically around 5%(actually 8.1%) in frequency of participation whereas the programs have been indicated approximately 5%(actually 7.0%) in the term of participation.

鼻毛의 白毛發生에 의한 年齡推定

The gray vibrissae of Korean males(n= 189) between 15 and 75 years old and females(n=111) between 15 and 74 years old whop visited the department of otorhinolaryngology, Konkuk university Chungju hospital during 1996 to 1998, were counted for the purpose of estimating approximate age range in individuals of unknown age. The lowest age appearing gray hairs in both sexes was 15-year-old. The Pearson's correlation coefficient in both sexes was 0.490 (p<0.01). The age appearing gray vibrissae in females was slightly earlier than that of males, however, the differences between right and left sides of nasal cavity were insignificant. This method of counting gray vibrissae would be useful to estimate age range in personal identification together with other methods available until now.
