        This study aims at the capability improvement of detention basin for inundation prevention of urban area by RRL model. The chosen detention basin to analyze in this study is located at Pohang industrial district. The RRL model is computed a probable flood to evaluate the capability of detention basin for each return period. The results obtained by RRL model as follows: (1) The capabilities of detention basin and pumps are estimated. (2) To improve the capability of the detention basin, the dredged depth of the detention basin and the number of pump are calculated for return period.

        쐐기형 5급 와동과 근관와동을 복합레진으로 수복한 상악소구치에 대한 응력 분석 : 3차원 유한요소법적 연구

        이 연구의 목적은 쐐기형 5급 와동과 근관와동을 복합레진으로 수복한 상악 제2소구치에 대한 응력 분포를 3차원 유한요소법으로 분석하여 평가하기 위한 것이다. 발치된 상악 제2소구치를 이용하여 Micro-CT로 스캔한 후 3D-D0C-TOR로 3차원 유한요소 모형을 제작하였다. 제작된 소구치 모형에 근관 와동을 형성하고 쐐기형 5급 와동과 글래스 아이오노머 기저재의 사용 여부를 구분하여 근관 와동을 혼합형 복합레진으로 충전하였다. 협측 교두 또는 설측 교두에 500 N의 하중을 가하고, ANSYS 8.0 프로그램으로 인장 응력의 분포를 분석하여 평가한 결과 베이스 사용유무에 따른 응력 분포의 차이는 없었다. 협측 교두에 하중이 가해질 때, 하중점과 교합면의 중심구, 구개측 백악법랑경계부에 과도한 인장 응력이 집중되었으며, 5급 와동이 없는 경우보다 5급 와동이 있는 경우에 약간 더 높았다. 설측 교두의 협측 경사면에 하중이 가해질 때, 하중점과 교합면의 중심구, 협측 치경부에 과도한 인장 응력이 집중되었으며, 5급 와동이 있는 경우가 5급 와동이 없는 경우보다 약간 더 낮았다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution of tensile stress of canal obturated maxillary second premolar with access cavity and notch-shaped class Ⅴ cavity restored with composite resin using a 3D finite element analysis. The tested groups were classified as 8 situations by only access cavity or access cavity with notch-shaped class Ⅴ cavity (S or N), loading condition (L1 or L2), and with or without glass ionomer cement base (R1 or R2). A static load of 500 N was applied at buccal and palatal cusps. Notch-shaped cavity and access cavity were filled microhybrid composite resin (Z100) with or without GIC base (Fuji Ⅱ LC). The tensile stresses presented in the buccal cervical area, palatal cervical area and occlusal surface were analyzed using ANSYS. Tensile stress distributions were similar regardless of base. When the load was applied on the buccal cusp, excessive high tensile stress was concentrated around the loading point and along the central groove of occlusal surface. The tensile stress values of the tooth with class Ⅴ cavity were slightly higher than that of the tooth without class Ⅴ cavity. When the load was applied the palatal cusp, excessive" high tensile stress was concentrated around the loading point and along the central groove of occlusal surface. The ten-sile stress values of the tooth without class Ⅴ cavity were slightly higher than that of the tooth with class Ⅴ cavity.

        유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 유출모형의 매개변수 추정

        The genetic algorithm is investigated for parameters estimation of SED (storage - effective drainage) model from the Wi-stream watershed in Nakdong river basin. In the practical application of model. as a number of watershed parameters do not measure directly, it is desirable to make a good estimation from the known rainfall and runoff data. For the estimation of parameters of the SED model using the genetic algorithm, parameters of Green-Ampt equation(SM, K_(s)) for the estimation of an effective rainfall and initial storage(y_(in)) used in SED model are obtained a regression equation with 5, 10, 20 days antecedent precipitation. And as a consequence of computation, the parameters were obtained to satisfy the proposed objective function. From the comparison of observed and computed hydrographs, it shows a good agreement in the shape and the rising limb, peak, falling limb of hydrograph, so the SED model using the genetic algorithm shows a suitable model for runoff analysis in river basin.

        유한 요소법을 이용한 중소하천 유역에서의 이동호우에 대한 유출특성 분석

        In the rainfall-runoff relation, consideration of the spatial movement of storms is very important in designing a hydraulic structure or evaluating an environmental influence for land usage. Because of this reason, this study has suggested the finite element model which consider the spatial movement of a stome and it was applied on a small river basin(Wi stream basin). In the application of the model the basin was treated as a pivot point and the storms are simulated with movement in each directions. As a result, it shows that the storms moving from north to south have bigger peak discharge and faster peak time than the storms moving in other directions. So these characteristics have to be considered in the designation of a hydraulic structure or evaluation of an environmental influence.

        중학교 2학년 학생들의 활동과제 해결과정 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 활동과제를 해결하는 동안 학생들이 나타내는 수학적 사고와 수학적 창의성을 분석하여 활동과제를 활용한 수학 수업에 대한 교육적 시사점을 찾는 것이다. 중학교 2학년 남학생 2명,여학생 2명을 대상으로 매 차시 120분씩 총 8차시의 실험 수업을 진행하는 사례연구를 실시하였다. 실험 수업의 결과 활동과제는 학생틀에게 그 자체로 동기유발이 되었고,교사에게 의존하지 않으면서 자신의 특성과 수준에 맞는 자연스러운 사고를 경험하게 하여 학습자 중심의 수학 교육을 가능하게 한다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다. 그리고 학생들이 나타낸 수학적 사고와 수학적 창의성을 Polya의 문제해결과정 4단계에 따라 분석하여,활동과제를 활용한 수학수업에서 수학적 사고와 수학적 창의성을 향상시키기 위한 교수학적 제안점을 도출하였다. The purpose of this research is to provide the fundamental information about mathematics classes based on activism by analyzing mathematical thinking and mathematical creativity students display while solving tasks based on activism. A case study was conducted with two male middle school 2nd graders and two female middle school 2nd graders as subjects, and was composed of a total 8 experimental teaching sessions, each lasting 120 minutes. As result of analyzing mathematical thinking and mathematical creativity students display based on Polya's four Phase of problem solving process/ the type of mathematical thinking were intuitive insight, systematization of information, spatialization/ visualization, mathematical abstraction, inductive reasoning, deductive reasoning, generalization/application, reflective thinking and they were usually displayed collectively, but also independently. 8 types of mathematical thinking at the question understanding phase were displayed, 19 ones at the question understanding phase, 24 ons at the plan-execution phase, 9 ons at the reflection phase. The type of mathematical creativity were fluency, fluency, originality, ingenuity, and they were displayed collectively, but also independently. At the question understanding phase, the type of mathematical creativity were not displayed, 2 types of mathematical creativity at the plan-execution phase were displayed, 3 ones at the plan-execution phase, 4 ones at the reflection phase.

      • KS H ISO 1242 표준의 평가 : 라반딘 정유의 산값 측정

        The acid value (AV) as well as the ester value of essential oil is an important index to evaluate quality of essential oil. The official standard analytical method of KS H ISO 1242 dealing with “Essential oils - Determination of acid value” was assessed experimentally using two lavandin essential oils obtained in France as an example. One French lavandin oil sample showed the results of AV= 0.9 by both indicator method and potentiometry. Another sample showed AV = 1.9 by indicator method and AV = 1.6 by potentiometry. Latter lavandin oil sample exhibited significantly higher acid value than maximum value of 1 described in the standard. This result suggests that latter lavandin oil was contaminated, because this oil was contained in an orange juice bottle. Results of this study proved that KS H ISO 1242 could be used as a suitable scientific standard for the determination of acid value of essential oils.

        This study is concerned about an organic analysis for the actual conditions and problems of landscapes in the agricultural village, which is focus on the preservation and restoration of original landscapes and the creation of social and cultural environments. Also it is analyzed the foreign example of a landscape management, the policy for a landscape management and planning, and the system for the elevation of a rural landscape. Moreover, it is focused on the reserch for the components and local resources of a rural landscape. Therefore, this study proposes the basic data for the creation of a planning basis for the establishment of a rural landscape planning and the management of a rural landscape.

        2, 3; 5,6-di-O-isopropylidene-α-D -mannofuranose(ManA) were oxidized to their cor-responding 2, 3;5,6-di-O-isoprolylidene-α-D-manno-1.4-lactone(ManB) using calcium chlorite as oxidant in a phase transfer catalysis system. But identified results were not obvious. V_2O_5 catalzed oxidation of primary and secondary alcohols to aldehydes and ketones respectively at alkali conditions under Solod-Liquid phase transfer conditions. This reaction affords good overall yields of products without formation of undersirable.

        <P>Waldenström's macroglobulinemia (WM) is a B-cell proliferative malignancy characterized by immunoglobulin M monoclonal gammopathy and bone marrow infiltration by lymphoplasmacytic cells. Clinical features and cytogenetics of WM in Asia including Republic of Korea remain unclear. Moreover, no study has reported treatment outcomes in patients with WM treated with novel agent combined with conventional chemotherapy. This study investigated clinical features and assessed treatment outcomes with novel agent and conventional chemotherapy in Republic of Korea. Data from all (<I>n</I> = 71) patients with newly diagnosed WM at 17 hospitals who received chemotherapy between January 2005 and December 2012 were collected retrospectively. The median age of patients was 66 years (range: 37–92 years) and male to female ratio was 5 : 1. Patients treated with novel agent combined chemotherapy displayed higher overall response rate (ORR) compared to conventional chemotherapy alone (92.9% versus 52.6%, <I>P</I> = 0.006). The 5-year overall survival rate was 62.6% (95% confidence interval: 34.73–111.07). Use of novel agents produced higher ORR but survival benefit was not apparent due to the small number of patients and short follow-up duration. Further studies are needed to confirm the efficacy of novel agents in patients with WM.</P>

        Standardized Suicide Prevention Program for Gatekeeper Intervention of North Korean Defectors in South Korea

        Objective North Korean defectors (NKDs) have experienced substantial difficulties during the migration and settlement in South Korea. They have a high prevalence of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicidal behaviors. The high prevalence of mental disorders among NKDs can lead to a high suicide rate. However, there are no suicide prevention programs for NKDs. This study aims to customize a suicide prevention program with content suitable for NKDs’ particular circumstances.Methods A multidisciplinary research team developed this program based on domestic and international gatekeeper training programs for suicide prevention and articles related to suicide prevention.Results We developed a multi-part gatekeeper training program, “Suicide CARE for NKDs.” In the “Introduction,” trainees learn about the need for the program and its importance. In “Careful observation,” trainees learn to recognize linguistic, behavioral, and situational signals of suicide risk. In “Active listening,” trainees learn how to ask about suicidal thoughts and to listen empathetically. In “Risk evaluation and expert referral,” trainees learn to evaluate suicide risk and to connect NKDs with institutes or services.Conclusion We expect this program to become useful for training gatekeepers to prevent suicide among NKD. A future follow-up study is needed to confirm the efficacy of the program.
