        Progression of Left Ventricular Pseudoaneurysm after an Acute Myocardial Infarction

        Left ventricular (LV) pseudoaneurysms rarely occur, but are detected more often with the development of new diagnostic tools. Since LV pseudoaneurysms are life-threatening, early surgical intervention is recommended. This report describes an 87-year-old woman with heart failure and a large LV pseudoaneurysm which progressed from a small LV pseudoaneurysm after an acute myocardial infarction over a 1-year period.

        [논문]보육실습생의 실습생역할 인식에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 보육실습생의 실습생역할에 대한 인식이 실습 전․후에 따라 차이가 있는지, 그리고 실습생의 개인변인과 실습관련변인에 따라 실습생역할 인식의 차이가 있는 지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 보육실습생의 실습생역할에 대한 인식은 비교적 높은 것으로 나타났고, 실습 전․후의 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 실습생의 개인변인 중 연령, 학력 변인에서 일부 역할인식의 차이가 나타났으며, 보육실습변인에서는 실습지도교사의 학력과 실습기관의 유형에 따라 역할인식의 차이가 부분적으로 나타났다. 이들 연구결과들을 토대로 실습생역할인식에 영향을 주는 다양한 변인에 대한 연구와 이들 변인들에 대한 질적연구가 필요함을 제안하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of the roles of child educare student teacher. The subjects of this study were 142 child educare student teachers who experienced student teaching for four weeks. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the perceptions of student teacher on role of the child educare student teacher were above average. Second, there were no significant differences between scores of the previous student teaching and scores of the subsequent student teaching on child educare student teacher's role perception of the child educare student teacher. Third, there were significant relation between scores of the student teaching on child educare student teacher's role perception and the child educare student teacher's age, scholarship, the type of the child educare center, and cooperative teacher's scholarship.

        광주 효천유적 출토 청동기시대 석기의 재질특성과 원산지 추정

        이 연구는 광주 효천 2지구 유적지에서 출토된 청동기시대 석기를 대상으로 재질분석과 석재의 원산지를 검토한 것이다. 연구대상 석기는 안산암제 굴지구 1점, 납석제 갈돌 1점, 편암제 석겸 1점, 점판암제 반제품 4점이다. 굴지구로 이용된 안산암은 이 유적지 일대에서 쉽게 관찰할 수 있는 암석이다. 그러나 갈돌, 석겸 및 석촉이나 반제품으로 사용된 납석과 편암 및 점판암은 유적지에서 최소한 10km 이상 떨어진 화순군 동면 화순광업소 부근의 노두에서 관찰할 수 있으며 분포지역도 비교적 넓다. 이들을 각각의 석기와 동일 근원암석으로 짝을 이루어 분석하였을 때, 석기와 추정산지 암석은 모두 재질 및 광물학적 특징이 거의 동일하였다. 원소의 거동과 부화 및 호정성과 불호정성을 이용하여 표준화하였을 때도, 석기와 추정산지 암석의 지구화학적 진화경향이 동일한 것으로 보아, 굴지구는 무등산으로부터 운반되어 온 유적지 주변에 분포하는 암석을 원료로 제작한 자급형 석기일 가능성이 상당히 높다. 한편 갈돌과 석겸 및 석촉이나 반제품 석기의 구성암석은 유적지에서 10km 이상 떨어진 화순광업소 부근에서 재료를 조달하여 제작한 외래형 석기일 가능성이 높다. 따라서 외래형 석기의 도입과정에 대하여는 당시 인류의 이동과 함께 전래되었을 가능성, 주변 부족간의 거래에 의한 확산, 전쟁을 통한 전리품 또는 노획품, 물자의 이동과 교역 등, 모든 가능성을 명확히 규명할 수 있는 고고학적 연구가 필요할 것이다. These are made the coupled samples with each stone artifact to the same kinds of raw material rocks based on analysis of the lithology and geochemistry. As a result a geochemical evolution trends of both a stone artifact and the rock showed very similar patterns based on normalization using the behavior, enrichment, compatibility and incompatibility of the elements. Therefore, the source rock of the stone shovel was convey from Mudeung mountain possible interpreted that the domestic-type artifacts are distributed in the vicinity of the Hyocheon site. On the other hand, the stone grinding pestle, the stone sickle, the stone arrowhead and the stone semifinished artifacts were convey from the Hwasun coal mine area possible foreign-type stone artifacts interpreted that the source rocks. Consequently, in the foreign-type stone artifacts are should archaeologic research which it can examine various possibilities clearly that the possibility to coming the introduction with the mankind migration, diffusion to dealings of tribe, the captured enemy equipment through the war and the trade with the behavior of the materials.

        화순 운주사 석조불감의 재질특성과 풍화훼손도 평가

        화순 운주사 석조불감(보물 제797호)은 고려시대 양식을 갖추고 있는 석조문화재로서 아주 독특한 형식적 특징을 보여준다. 남북의 감실 내부에는 각각의 불상이 등을 맞대고 있는 쌍배 좌상의 형태를 보이고 있어 역사적, 미술사적 및 학술적으로 높은 평가를 받고 있다. 그러나 이 석조불감은 특별한 보호시설 없이 옥외에 노출되어 장기간의 풍화작용으로 다양한 훼손양상이 복합적으로 나타나고 있다. 이 석조불감은 총 47매의 암석으로 구성되어 있으며, 총 하중은 약 56.6톤이다. 구성 재질은 주로 회백색의 유리질 조직을 갖는 화산력 응회암류로 암편질 응회암과 유문암질 각력응회암이다. 또한 이들의 보수과정에서 부분적으로 흑운모 화강암을 사용하였다. 이들 응회암질암의 화학적 풍화지수는 52.1~59.4이나, 대체적인 화강암은 보다 신선한 50.0~51.0을 보인다. 이 연구에서는 석조불감에 나타나는 손상유형을 크게 물리적, 화학적 및 생물학적 풍화로 구분하여 훼손양상에 따라 종합훼손지도를 작성하였고, 표면적 대비 점유율을 산출하였다. 이 결과, 물리적 풍화양상 중 박리박락이 모든 방위에서 가장 높은 점유율을 보였으며, 방위로는 석감의 남측 면이 39.1%로 가장 높은 풍화도를 보였다. 화학적 풍화는 흑색 변색, 황갈색 변색, 백화현상 순으로 나타났으며 석감의 서측 면에서 61.2%의 높은 점유율을 보인다. 육안으로 볼 때, 가장 심각한 훼손을 보이는 생물학적 풍화는 회색지의류가 압도적으로 높으며, 석조불감 북측 면이 38.3%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 따라서 균열과 박리박락이 심한 부재의 접합 및 보강이 선행되어야 하며, 이차적 오염물질과 생물들은 정기적인 세정을 통해 제거하는 등 각각의 손상도에 적합한 보존방안의 수립과 임상실험을 통한 과학적 처리가 필요하다. The stone Buddhas and Shrine of Unjusa temple (Korea Treasure No. 797) in Hwasun formed in Koryo Dynasty are unique style which the Buddha faces each other the back parts of south and north within the stone Shrine. The stone Buddhas and Shrine are highly evaluated in historical, artistic and academic respects. But, the stone properties have been exposed in the open system various aspects of degradations weathered for a long time without specific protective facilities. The rock materials of the stone Buddhas and Shrine are about 47 blocks, and total press load is about 56.6 metric ton. The host rocks composed mainly of white grey hyaline lithic tuff and rhyolitic tuff breccia. In addition, biotite granite used as part during the restoration works. The chemical index of alteration for host tuffaceous rocks and the replacement granites range from 52.1 to 59.4 and 50.0 to 51.0, respectively. Weathering types for the stone Buddhas and Shrine were largely divided with physical, chemical and biological weathering to make a synthetic deterioration map according to aspects of damage, and estimate share as compared with surface area. Whole deterioration degrees are represented that physical weathering appeared exfoliation. Chemical weathering is black coloration and biological weathering of grey lichen, which show each lighly deterioration degrees. According to deterioration degree by direction of stone Buddhas and Shrine, physical weathering mostly appeared by 39.1% on the sorthern part, and chemical weathering is 61.2% high share on the western part. Biological weathering showed 38.3% the largest distribution on the southern part. Therefore, it is necessary to try hardening for the parts with serious cracks or exfoliations, remove secondary contaminants and organisms through regular cleaning. Also necessary to make a plan to remove moisture of the ground which causes weathering, and estimate that need established and scientific processing through clinical demonstration of conservation plan that chooses suitable treatment.

        Scoparone interferes with STAT3-induced proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells

        Scoparone, which is a major constituent of Artemisia capillaries, has been identified as an anticoagulant, hypolipidemic, vasorelaxant, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory drug, and it is used for the traditional treatment of neonatal jaundice. Therefore, we hypothesized that scoparone could suppress the proliferation of VSMCs by interfering with STAT3 signaling. We found thatthe proliferation of these cells was significantly attenuated by scoparone in a dose-dependent manner. Scoparone markedly reduced the serum-stimulated accumulation of cells in the S phase and concomitantly increased the proportion of cells in theG0/G1 phase, which was consistent with the reduced expression of cyclin D1, phosphorylated Rb and survivin in the VSMCs. Cell adhesion markers, such as MCP-1 and ICAM-1, were significantly reduced by scoparone. Interestingly, this compound attenuated the increase in cyclin D promoter activity by inhibiting the activities of both the WT and active forms of STAT3. Similarly, the expression of a cell proliferation marker induced by PDGF was decreased by scoparone with no change in the phosphorylation of JAK2 or Src. On the basis of the immunofluorescence staining results, STAT3 proteins phosphorylated by PDGF were predominantly localized to the nucleus and were markedly reduced in the scoparone-treated cells. In summary, scoparone blocks the accumulation of STAT3 transported from the cytosol to the nucleus, leading to the suppression of VSMC proliferation through G1 phase arrest and the inhibition of Rb phosphorylation. This activity occurs independent of the form of STAT3 and upstream of kinases, such as Jak and Src, which are correlated with abnormal vascular remodeling due to the presence of an excess of growth factors following vascular injury. These data provide convincing evidence that scoparone may be a new preventative agent for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

        Assessment of Left Ventricular Function by Analysis ofVolume-Time Curves of 16 Segments with Real-Time ThreeDimensional Echocardiography: Left Ventricular Asynchrony asa Clinical ...

        Background and Objectives:Recent technical developments with high-resolution real-time 3-dimensional echocardiography (RT3DE) have facilitated the acquisition of high quality images and the analysis of segmental volumetime curves (VTCs). The purposes of this study were to assess left ventricular (LV) asynchrony with using the VTCs of 16 segments by RT3DE and to compare this with tissue Doppler imaging (TDI) as a clinical parameter. Subjects and Methods:Twenty-three heart failure (HF) patients (LVEF: 25±6%, age: 60±13 years) and 16 normal controls underwent TDI and RT3DE at baseline and 1-year. The standard deviation (SD3) of the end systolic time to reach the minimal systolic volume for the 16 segments on VTCs was obtained by RT3DE. The standard deviation (SD2) of the electromechanical coupling time for the 8 segments was measured using TDI. Results: SD3 was markedly higher in the HF patients than that in the controls (7.7±2.5 vs 1.5±1.0%, respectively, p< 0.01) and it increased as the LVEF decreased (r=-0.85, p<0.01). SD2 was also significantly higher in the HF patients (27.0±8.6 vs 12.6±5.0 msec, respectively, p<0.01) and it had good negative correlation with the LVEF (r=-0.72, p<0.01). SD3 was well correlated with SD2 (r=0.66, p<0.01). At 1-year, the HF patients with an increased LVEF showed a decreased SD3 (7/13). In contrast, the patients with a decreased LVEF had an increased SD3 (3/13). Conclusion:The analysis of VTCs for the 16 LV segments with using RT3DE from a single acoustic window may be a useful clinical parameter for evaluating the LV function, including LV asynchrony, the LV volume and the LVEF.         영아보육교사의 직무만족도와 영아인권 인식에 관한 연구

        This study investigated the relationship between infant care teacher’s job satisfaction and the recognition of infant’s rights. The participants consisted of 190 care teachers working at child care centers. Data was coded and analyzed using SPSS 22.0. The results can be summarized as follows: First, the job satisfaction of infant care teachers was below average however among the sub-variables, ‘human relations’ ranked the highest. There were significant differences among the care teacher’s ages, marital status, schooling, and job experience. Second, the recognition of infant’s rights was high with the sub-variable ‘basic needs’ ranked the highest. Also, there were significant differences relating to the schooling and the job experience of the care teachers. Third, there were correlations between the job satisfaction and the recognition of infant’s rights of the infant care teachers. Finally, the job satisfaction of infant care teachers affected all sub-variables of the recognition of infant’s rights.
