Insulation Coating of Fe–Si–Cr Soft Magnetic Powder by Selective Oxidation

This study examines the insulation coating technology of Fe–Si–Cr powder via selective oxidation annealing, which oxidizeselements selectively by controlling the oxidation potential. The study calculated the oxidation driving force of Fe, Si, andCr, and conducted a thermodynamic analysis of oxidation and reduction conditions according to temperature and oxidationpotential. Based on the results, a selective oxidation annealing was performed in an atmosphere in which Fe is reduced andonly Si and Cr are selectively oxidized. The oxidation potential was controlled through the partial pressure ratio of hydrogenand water vapor. The XPS analysis results confirmed that a Si and Cr complex oxide layer formed on the powder surfaceafter the selective oxidation annealing. Afterward, withstanding voltages were analyzed to evaluate the insulation property. Then, the withstanding voltage of the powder applying the selective oxidation annealing increased significantly comparedto that of the initial powder. Further analysis showed that the powder annealed in an air atmosphere had a significantly lowersaturation magnetic flux density than the initial powder, while the powder applying the selective oxidation annealing hadonly a slightly reduced saturation magnetic flux density.

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that influence voluntary tunovers among leaders who are employed in Leisure and sports. The factors were found to he external, job-related, and personal. A survey was administered to 218 leaders of the following organizations that studied at Yong-in University, to success a third class leader in Leisure and sports with man 151 persons and female 67. A questionaire was designed to establish the causal factors of Yang-Jin Hawn(1992), Park-Se Hong(1994), Jun-Chan yol(1994), Lee-Ki Hyo(1995) in leisure and sports. The questionnaire had a high index in the Cronbach' a = .7108 ~ .8911 test. These surveys were cpmpleted using self-administration method. First, to analyze the data for the study, the frepuencies, t-test, one-way ANOVA was sued to analyze the collected data. The results of this study were as follews: First, the external factors associated with voluntary turnovers had not a stronger impact on the sex, education, prestige, salary on the decision. Second, the joh-related factors associated with voluntary turnovers has net friedship satisvaction and productivity.

서울의 Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae 발생빈도(1998)

In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

中學 科學科 學習指導上의 問題點과 改善에 關한 硏究

This study attempts to improve the problems which were found in the analysis of science curricula of junior highschool and effectiveness of science teaching. The basic materials for this study were IPS, PSⅡ, BSCS and ESCP which were the background of science curricula, and the contents taught currently in schools. The important results of this study are as follow; 1) most teachers are not full understanding of historic background of science curricula. 2) texts are composed of mostly actual experiments and consequently, teaching should be performed along with experiments. 3) teaching should be orgainzed such that students realize that learning grows in experiments and discovering learning can only be achieded during experiment performing. 4) adminstrative organizations should not be hasitant in drastic financial investments and educatore organize proper teaching plans so as to obtain maximum efficiency in leaching and learning result with minimum efforts.

Necrotizing fascitis is a severe soft tissue infection characterized by extensive necrosis of superficial fascia, suppurative fascitis, vascular thrombosis, widespread undermining of surrounding tissues. Accociated systemic problems are widespread undermining of surrounding tissues, Accociated systemic problems are common, with chronic alcoholism and diabetes being most prominent. Most commonly this disease presents in the extremities, trunk, and perineum. Necrotizing fascitis of dental origing is rare and its fulminating clinical course is not well documented in the dental literature. The present report is a case of necrotizing fascitis following vital extirpation of the pulp in a patient with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus and liver cirrhosis. Originally throught to be caused by hemolytic streptococcus organism or stphylococcus aureus, advances in anaerobic culturing have shown it to be a synergistic bacterial infection involving aerobic and ovligate anaerobes. it is relatively rare in relatively rare in haea and neck regions. If it was not diagnosed and treated in early stages, necrotizing fascitis can be potentially fetal, with a mortality rate approaching 40%. It's treatment requires early recognition, prompt and aggressive surgical debriment and proper supportive cares, such as, antibiotic therapy, fluid resuscitation and correction of metabolic and electrolyte disorder, resolving of the underlying systemic disease. Recently, we experienced two cases of necrotizing fascitis in cervicofacial region, One patient was 60 years old male with uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus and other patient was 48 years old with steroid therapy during 30 years. Local surgical wound healing was successful but, patients were died after admission, because of lung abscess, gastrointestinal bleeding, septic shock and respiration hold.

Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell was fabricated at general lab. with common and chief matters: TiO_(2) powder as semiconductor, Eosin-Y as dye, I^(-)/I_(3)^(-) as liquidus electrolyte, and Ag as bottom-electrode. And ZnO thin film as TCO was sputtered on the glass substrate. As a result, open-circuit voltage was generated in these samples. It was found that this cell that is fabricated under common conditions is commercially available.

긴볼레기말의 항고지혈증 효과에 관한 연구 : Triton WR-1339 주사에 의한 고지혈증 유발 생쥐의 간세포내 지방 축적 감소를 중심으로 Based on the Decreasing Effect of Lipid Accumulation in Hepatocyte of Murine with Hyperlipidemia induced by Triton WR-1339

본 연구는 긴볼레기말 추출물의 항고지혈증 효과를 조사하기 위해 ICR 생쥐에 TritonWR-1339(TX) 복강주사로 인위적인 고지혈증을 유발시킨 후 긴볼레기말 추출물(30㎎/㎏)를 복강주사하여 시간의 경과에 따른 간세포내에서의 지방 축적 변화를 조직화학적으로 관찰하였다. TX 주사후 그물구조의 세포질출 가진 간세포가 간엽 전체에서 관찰되었고, 일부 간소엽에서는 간세포 손상으로 인한 간세포판 소실이 나타났다. 또한 간세포내 지방축척도 증가하여 전체 간소엽의 간세포에서 지방의 과출현을 확인 할 수 있었고, 지방의 크기도 대조군에 비해 증가된 것으로 관찰되었다. 그러나 긴볼레기말 추출물 주사군에서는 그물구조의 세포질을 가진 간세포의 수가 TX 주사군에 비해 감소되었고, 대부분의 간소엽에서 정상적인 간세포판의 배열을 확인할 수 있었다. 간세포내의 지방 축적과 크기도 감소된 경향으로 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 해조류 긴볼레기말 추출물은 고지혈증이 유발된 생쥐 간세포 내에서의 과도한 지방축적을 감소시키는 항고지혈증 효과를 하는 것으로 사료된다. Hepatic tissues of ICR mouse were intraperitoneally injeced with Colpomenia bullosa(CB) Extract after Triton WR-1339(TX) injection were observed to investigate the antihyperlipermic effect of CB extract for hyperlipidemic hepatic tissue caused by destruction of lipid metabolism. The hepatic tissues were obtained at hour-24, 48, and 72 after TX injection with CB extract treatment. And then these specimen were fixed in 10% neutral buffer solution and were cryocut. The tissue stained by H&E for general morphology and sudan black B for lipid distribution. The increase of hepatocyte having rneshlike cytoplasm were shown in all hepatic lobules after TX injection and the hepatic plates were disappeared in the region of meshlike hepatocyte aggregation, But the hepatocyte having meshlike cytoplasm were disappeared and hapatic plate were rearranged in CB extract injected mouse. The number of blue black colored lipid drop in hepatic cytoplasm of mouse injected with TX were increased and the size of lipid drop were enlarged. But the number of lipid drop in hepatic cytoplasm of mouse treated CB extract were decreased and the size of lipid drop were diminished. As results indicated that the accumulation of lipid drop caused by TX injection were mitigated by the antihyperlipidermic effect of CB extract.

Scrub typhus usually occurs in October and November in Korea. Its typical clinical manifestations are fever, rash, eschar, and lymphadenopathies. Pneumonitis may occur, however it occurs as a complication at the late phase of scrub typhus, when it is inappropriately treated. We encountered a case of pneumonitis that was an initial manifestation of scrub typhus which was confirmed by rickettsial culture, Positive seroconversion, and polymerase chain reaction. The case was a 16-year-old high school adolescent who presented with fever and headache that lasted for 1 day in July, 2007, He denied of any outdoor activities. A chest radiograph showed patchy infiltrates in the left lower lung, which improved with the administration of cefotaxime and azithromycin for empirical treatment of community-acquired pneumonia. Blood taken on the second febrile day showed a positive culture for Orientia tsutsugamushi and was also positive for O. tsutsugamushi DNA polymerase chain reaction. Immunofluorescent antibody (IFA) test for O. tsutsugamushi showed that the initial antibody was negative, but convalescent serum tested positive with an antibody titer of 1:80. IFA for Coxiella burnetii showed false positive results; the initial IgM and IgG liters were 1:128 and 1:256, respectively, and the IgM and IgG titers in convalescent serum were 1:128 and 1:128, respectively.
