        델파이 방법을 이용한 노인전문치과위생사 핵심역량 도출

        Objectives: This study derived the core competencies for developing a curriculum for advanced practice dental hygienists in the elderly. Methods: A Delphi survey was conducted thrice times with 12 subjects engaged in dental hygiene-related activities for the elderly. Results: The item with the highest average in each domain was 'understanding the elderly (mean=5.00)' in basic qualities and attitude competency, 'understanding the oral health characteristics of the elderly (mean=5.00)' in the job competency, and 'development and evaluation of oral health programs for the elderly (mean=4.75)' in job support competency. Conclusions: The core competencies of dental hygienists specializing in the elderly are divided into 3 'basic qualifications and attitude competencies', 'job competencies', and 'job support competencies' 27 sub-competencies are presented.

        Antimutagenic Effect of Insoluble Dietary Fibers from Some Green Yellow Vegatagles and Soybean by Binding the Carcinogens

        The antimutagenic effects of insoluble dietary fibers(IDF) extracted from some green-yellow vegetables(kale, carrot, spinach, broccoli and soybean sprout) and soybean by binding the carcinogens of MeIQ (2-amino-3,4- dimethyl-imidazo(4,5-f) quinoline) and Trp-P-2(3-amino-1-methyl-5H-pyrido[4,3-b] indole) in Salmonella tylhimirium TA100 and TA98 were studied. All of the insoluble dietary fiber samples which binded MeIQ exhibited high antimutagenic effects by removing the mutagen. Among the samples, IDFs from kale and soybean showed strong binding capacity fo the carcinogen and revealed about 90% of the antimutagenic activity. the IDF samples showed somewhat lower binding capacity to the Trp-p-2. The lignin which extracted from kale, soybean and carrot, and the cellulose strongly removed the mutagenicity of MeIQ by the binding. Among the samples, the level of lignin in kale revealed the highest(about 10%), and it seemed that the higher content of lignin in kale is one of the reasons to increase its antimutagenic effect.

        품종별 장미꽃 메탄올 추출물의 항염증 효과

        본 연구에서는 장미꽃 methanol 추출물의 항염증 활성을 조사하기 위하여 LPS에 의해 염증이 유도된 RAW 264.7 대식세포에서 염증억제 효과를 알아보았다. 염증 억제의 지표로서는 세포가 방출하는 NO 생성량과 iNOS 및 $NF-{\kappa}B$ 발현 정도를 측정하였다. 실험 결과, RAW 264.7 대식세포에 대한 품종별 장미꽃 methanol 추출물($500{\mu}g/mL$)이 NO의 함량을 감소시키는 경향을 나타내었다. NO의 생성에 영향을 미치는 iNOS 단백질의 발현량을 측정한 결과, LPS 처리에 의해 활성화된 iNOS 단백질의 발현이 장미꽃 methanol 추출물 처리 시 유의적으로 수준으로 억제하는 경향을 보였다. Luciferase activity를 실행한 결과, LPS로 자극한 세포와 비교하였을 때 염증과 관련된 $NF-{\kappa}B$ promoter activity가 장미꽃 methanol 추출물 처리시 현저히 감소하는 경향을 나타내었고, 세포질의 $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$의 인산화를 저해함으로써 전사요소인 $NF-{\kappa}B$ p65, p50을 핵 속으로 유리시키는 과정을 억제하였다. 이 결과로 장미꽃 methanol 추출물이 전사단계에서 저해활성을 나타낸다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과, 장미꽃 methanol 추출물은 항염증 효과를 나타냄에 따라 만성 질환 예방을 위한 기능성 식품의 원료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 여겨진다. The genus Rosa (Rosaceae) is an abundant source of phenolics and is traditionally used as a food supplement and as herbal medicine. Various plant phenolics are known to have anticancer, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. In this study, we investigated the anti-inflammatory effects of rose methanolic extracts (RMEs) from four different rose cultivars (Macarena, Onnuri, Oklahoma, and Colorado) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-activated RAW 264.7 cells. Our results demonstrated that pretreatment of REMs ($500{\mu}g/mL$) significantly reduced NO production by suppressing iNOS protein expression in LPS-stimulated cells. Anti-inflammatory effects by RMEs were observed in the following order: Oklahoma > Colorado > Onnuri > Macarena. Consistent with this finding, RMEs inhibited the translocation of $NF-{\kappa}B$ from the cytosol to the nucleus via the suppression of $I{\kappa}B{\alpha}$ phosphorylation and also inhibited LPS-stimulated $NF-{\kappa}B$ transcriptional activity. These findings suggest that RMEs exert anti-inflammatory actions and help to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the potential therapeutic values of RMEs. Therefore, RMEs could be regarded as a potential source of natural anti-inflammatory agents.

Film was recognized genre reflected national ideology directly. Narrative Difference between novel and film caused by this genre-recognition.

        성인남녀의 가족건강성 관련변인

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the effective variables which influence family strengths. In particular, influencing variables were analyzed according to sex, generation, and family pattern. There were 703 participants aged over 20 years in Gwangju and Seoul. All participants completed a questionnaire and the data were analyzed using SPSS. The results were as follows: 1. The average scores of family strengths were higher than the median. Regarding subdimensions, ``value system sharing`` had the lowest score. 2. Family strengths were related to its subdimension and some variables. 3. Family strengths were influenced by living condition, self-esteem, depression, the cognition of family function, and family value orientations. However, the influencing variables were different according to sex, generation, and family patterns. In conclusion, in order to improve family strengths, it is necessary to develop ``value system sharing``, enhance self-esteem, and reduce depression. Further, when we deal with family strengths, it is necessary to vary methodology.

        당근 첨가가 채소즙(녹즙)에서 비타민 C의 안정성에 미치는 영향

        AsA 수용액 또는 당근즙액 또는 당근을 첨가한 채소즙들에서 반응시간과 온도에 따른 ascorbic acid(AsA)와 dehydroascorbic acid(DHAA)의 함량 변화를 HPLC를 이용하여 정량분석하였다. 당근즙액에 있는 AsA가 물에 있는 AsA 보다 더 안정한 것으로 나타났고, AsA 수용액과 AsA+ 당근즙액에 있는 AsA의 함량은 반응시간과 저장온도의 증가에 의해 점차로 감소되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 냉장온도(4℃)에서 2시간, 24시간 보관된 당근즙액과 당근+채소즙액의 AsA 함량도 시간경과에 따라 점차로 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 당근즙액 또는 당근을 첨가한 채소즙의 AsA, DHAA, 총 비타민 C 함량은 냉장온도에서 2, 24시간 보관함에 따라, 모든 시료의 AsA 함량은 시간경과에 따라 점차적으로 파괴되었지만, DHAA 함량은 서서히 증가하는 것으로 나타나 총 비타민 C(AsA+DHAA)의 값은 2시간 저온에서 방치시 90~97%의 높은 비타민 C의 잔존율을 가졌으며, 24시간 방치시에도 총 비타민 C 함량에 대한 큰 변화는 없었다. 결국 저온 보관시 당근 첨가에 의한 채소 즙액의 총 비타민 C의 손실은 거의 없는 것으로 확인 되었다. The changes of ascorbic acid(AsA) and dehydroascorbic acid(DHAA) contents in distilled water, carrot juice, and carrot+vegetable juices under different incubation time and temperature were determined by using high performance liquid chromatography. AsA in carrot juice was more stable than that in distilled water. AsA contents in distilled water and carrot juice were gradually reduced in a time and temperature dependent manner. AsA contents in carrot juice and carrot+vegetable juices stored in refrigerator(4℃) for 2 and 24 hours appeared to decrease, but the DHAA contents in all samples increased. Total vitamin C(AsA+DHAA) contents in carrot juice and carrot+vegetable juices remained with the high residue values of 90~97% after incubating at 4℃ for 2 and 24 hours.

        국내에서 소비되는 일부 상용 식품의 비타민 E 함량 분석

        본 연구에서는 국내에서 소비되는 일부 상용 식품의 비타민 E 함량을 측정하고자 하였다. 각 식품군들의 비타민 E는 검화벙법 또는 직접용매 추출법을 이용하여 추출하였으며 이를 순상 HPLC를 통하여 분리, 정량하였다. 육류에선 장조림이 1.08 α-TE가 가장 높았으며, 어패류는 마른 오징어가 4.69 α-TE로 높게 분석되었다. 해조류는 조미김이 5.70 α-TE로 가장 높은 값을 나타내었다. 유제품은 분유에서 3.17 α-TE, 두류에선 서리태가 1.52 α-TE로 가장 높은 값으로 나타났고, 견과류에선 해바라기씨가 17.99 α-TE로 가장 높은 수치를 보였다. 조리가공식품류는 라면이 1.96 α-TE로 가장 높았으며, 전통가공 식품류에서는 고추장이 3.48 α-TE로 가장 높은 분석치를 나타내었다. 본 논문에서 분석된 자료는 식품 내 비타민 E 함량 분석을 통한 표준화된 영양성분표의 기반확립에 도움이 되리라고 생각한다. Tocopherol and tocotrienol contents of commonly consumed foods in Korea were determined by saponification or direct solvent extraction followed by normal phase liquid chromatography. All samples were locally obtained in the year of 2002 and 2003. The study included 13 meats, 15 fishes and shellfishes, 4 seaweeds, 7 mushrooms, 19 milk and milk products, 6 legumes, 12 nuts, 17 processed foods and 17 Korean traditional foods. All of the vitamin E isomers were quantitated and the results were expressed as α-tocopherol equivalent(α-TE). The relatively higher amount of vitamin E was found in beef boiled in soy, dried squid, toasted seaweed, milk powder, soritae, sunflower seeds, ramyon (instant noodle), and kochujang from meats, fishes, seaweeds, milk products, legumes, processed foods, and traditional foods, respectively. This study provided reliable vitamin E data in commonly consumed foods in Korea for the nutritional information and food composition database.
