      • 미혼남녀의 결혼관에 나타난 결혼 이데올로기

        The purposes of this study were to find the general trends of marriage-ideology reflected on the view of marriage of unmarried men and women, to estimate the differences according to related variables and to investigate relation of variables and marriage-ideology. The samples were selected from the unmarried 164 men and 235 women living in Kwang-ju. The major findings were as follows; 1. Unmarried men and women didn`t reveal high level of marriage-ideology but men`s marriage-ideology scores were higher than women. The overall tendencies were that women`s achievement of vicarious status was more imporant than that of personal status, marriage was the male-leading union and men`s conditions of mate-selection must be superior than woman. Unmarried men and women usually did not accept equality between sex and they have strong gender-stereotype. In the view of sexuality, premarital viriginity and extramarital intercourse were more rigid with woman and they took a serious view of man-centered kinship. 2. Marriage-ideology were significantly different according to mother`s age, necessity of marriage, motive of marriage, marriage taboo according to family origin, the eldest son`s parent care-giving, a notion of preferring a son. 3. Men and women`s marriage-ideology was positively related to variables. Especially, women`s marriage-ideology had high relation to motive of marriage and a notion of preferring a sari. But women`s marriage-ideology was negatively related to educational level.

        노년기 부부의 생활만족도와 우울 및 관련변인 연구

        본 연구는 노년기 부부의 생활만족도와 우울을 측정하고 이에 영향을 미치는 변인의 탐색을 통해 노년기 부부의 심리적 복지 향상을 도모하기 위하여 실시하였다. 광주광역시에 거주하는 60세 이상의 노부부를 대상으로 구조화된 질문지를 통한 면접조사를 실시하였는데, 218쌍, 436명의 자료가 이용되었다. 자료의 분석은 SAS/PC 프로그램을 사용하였다. 노년기 부부는 비교적 중간정도의 생활만족도와 우울 수준을 보이고 있고, 생활만족도는 남편이, 우울은 부인이 더 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인으로는 남편의 경우 주관적 건강상태, 자아존중감, 친지지지, 자녀지지, 부부갈등이, 부인의 경우는 수입, 주관적 건강상태, 친밀감, 친지지지, 자녀지지, 부부갈등, 외부도움요청, 언어적 공격이 유의한 영향변인으로 나타났고, 우울의 경우는 자아존중감, 의사결정 공유도, 부부갈등, 회피 대처가 남편의 우울에, IADL, 주관적 건강상태, 자아존중감, 여가 공유도, 부부갈등이 부인의 우울에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다. The purposes of this study were to find the general trends of aged couples' life satisfaction and depression and to examine relationships between husbands' and wives', and effective variables influencing on their life satisfaction and depression. The subjects were the ns couples over 60 years old living in Gwanrju Trained researchers interviewd the subjects structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed with mean, std, Cronbach' α, paired t-test, Persons a, paired t-test, Pearson's correlation and Hierarchical Regression using SAS program. The major findings were as follows; 1. The average scores of life satisfaction were higher and depression were lower than median. Husbands achieved higher scores in life satisfaction and lower ones in depression than wives'. 2. Husbands' life satisfaction and depression were positively related to wives'. Husbands' and wives' life satisfaction were negatively related to spouses' depression. 3. Husbands' life satisfaction was influenced by self-esteem, marital conflict, acquaintances' support, filial support, health and was explained about 52% by these variables. Wives' was influenced by acquaintances' support, income, marital intimacy, marital conflict, filial support, ask for outsider's help, verbal violence, health and was explained about 56% by these variables. Husbands' depression was influenced by self-esteem, sharing of decision-making, marital conflict, avoidance and was explained about 36% by these variables. Wives' was influenced by health, self-esteem, marital conflict, IADL, sharing of leisure and was explained about 38% by these variables.

      • 미혼 남녀의 배우자 선택 조건 및 관련 요인 분석

        The purposes of this article are to find the general trends of unmarried men and women's mate selection conditions, to estimate the differences according to related variables and to analyze the effects of significant variables influencing on mate selection. The samples were selected from the unmarried 164 men and 235 women living in Kwang-ju. The major findings are as follows; 1. All scores of mate selection conditions were higher than medium. Especially in desirable spouse conditions, women's were higher than men's. Move valued spouse conditions were women's apperance, health, family background in men and all conditions in women. Women desired more similar and interactional conditions than men. 2. External and internal conditions were significantly different from age, work in men and age, father's and mother's age in women. Homogeneous and interactional conditions were significantly different from sex role attitude, premarital sexual experience in men and age, education, work, father's age, love necessity of marriage, sex role attitude, premarital sexual experience in women. 3. External and internal conditions were influenced by work in men and mother's and father's age in women. Homogeneous conditions were influenced by premarital sexual experience, necessity of marriage in men and age, premarital sexual experi-ence, necessity of marriage in women. Interactional conditions were influenced by sex role attitude, father's age in men and sex role attitude, education, work in women.

        노년기 부부의 갈등과 생활만조도

        The purposes of this study were to find the general trends of aged couples' marital conflict, life satisfaction, and to examine relationships between husbands' marital conflict, life satisfaction and those of wives, and to investigate effective variables influencing on their life satisfaction. The subjects were the 218 couples over 60 years old living in Gwangju. Trained researchers interviewed the subjects with structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed with mean, sd, Cronbach' α, paired-t test, Pearson's correlation and Hierarchical Regression using SAS program. The major findings were as follows; 1. The marital conflict scores of husbands and wives were lower than median and wives' marital conflict scores were higher than those of husbands. The average scores of life satisfaction were higher than median and Husbands achieved higher scores in life satisfaction than wives. 2. Husbands' life satisfaction was influenced by health, self-esteem, filial support, acquaintances' support, marital conflict. Wives'life satisfaction was influenced by income, health, marital intimacy, filial support, acquaintances' support, marital conflict. Spouses marital conflict was significantly effective variable to wives' life satisfaction, but no significant to husbands'.
