일 농촌지역의 우울 증상에 관한 역학연구 -위험요인 및 요인구조분석

연구목적 : 세계적으로 널리 사용되는 우울증 척도인 the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D)을 이용하여 지역사회 주민의 우울증상의 정도를 평가하고, 우울증상의 위험요인을 분석하고, 한국인에서 우울증상의 요인구조를 알기 위해 본 연구를 실시하였다. 방 법 : 경기도 일 농촌 지역의 30세 이상 주민에 대해 무작위 군집 집락 추출을 실시하였고, 훈련된 면담원들이 가정 방문을 통하여 면접 및 자기보고 검사인 CES-D를 실시하였다. 총 1,315명에서 응답을 하였고 응답율은 59.3%이었다. 결 과 : CES-D에 의한 우울증 점수는 0∼5점이 57%정도를 차지하였고, 평균 점수는 남자 7.8점 여자 9.5점으로 비교적 낮은 편이었다. ANCOVA 분석 결과 비결혼, 저학력, 여성이라는 위험요인은 독립적으로 우울증상을 악화시키는 요인이었으나 연령은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. CES-D 결과를 요인분석을 시행한 결과 4가지 요인이 추출되었는데 우울증상 및 신체증상이 한 개의 요인으로, 다른 나라에서 보고되지 않는 정서적 고통이 별도의 요인으로 추출되었다. 결 론 : 국내 역학 조사에서도 외국과 유사한 우울점수 및 위험요인이 확인되었으나 우울증의 요인에서는 특이한 요인이 추출되었다. 한국인에 독특한 우울 반응에 관한 추가 연구가 필요하다. Objectives :The rates, correlates, and factor structure of depressive symptoms in a Korean rural sample were examined using Korean version of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D). Methods : Door to door visiting survey was conducted by trained interviewers. A random cluster sample of 1,315 respondents, aged 30 and over completed the CES-D scale along with additional sociodemographic questionnaire. Results : In this sample, mean CES-D score of male and female were 7.8 and 9.5, respectively which were lower than those reported previously. Symptoms of depression were most common among the less educated, non-married and female according to ANCOVA. Age was not a significant risk factor for depressive symptoms. Different factor structures emerged from this sample as compared to other studies using this approach. Somatic symptoms and affective symptoms were combined as one factor and emotional hardship emerged as a separate factor. Conclusion : Symptoms scores and risk factors were similar to the results reported in other countries but unique factor structures were found in this study. Further research is needed about the Korean depressive symptomatology and related areas.
남성중심의 경쟁적 직장문화에서 여성의 프로페셔널 리더십 : 광고인 최인아에 대한 사례연구

본 연구는 남성중심의 직장문화를 극복하고 고위직 전문가로 진출한 여성 광고인의 사례연구를 통해 프로레셔널 리더십의 특서을 귀납적으로 규명하였다. 연구 대상은 공채출신 여성으로는 최초로 S그룹 임원으로 승진한 광고인 최인아이다. 최인아는 '남성중심의 직장문화'에서 합리적인 행동과 수범(垂範)사례를 통해 선례를 구축하고 직장문화를 변화시키는 단계별 전략을 취하였다. 그리고 프로로서 '성과로 승부'하겠다는 장기 전략에 입각하여 목표를 달성하기 위해 끊임없이 노력하였다. 이 과정에서 최인아는 부하들과 성과를 중시하는 과업 지향적인 행도을 취하면서도, 대화와 설득을 통해 신뢰관계를 형성하는 비권위주의적인 행동을 보이고 있다. 부하들과의 관계와 조직행동을 종합적으로 분석해 볼 때 최인아의 리더십은 성과를 최우선으로 하는 여성적 프로페셔널리즘으로 평가할 수 있다. This research is designed to draw a certain special type of leadership through the case study with inductive reasoning on the female worker who successfully overcame the male-oriented corporate culture and advanced into the high level of career position. The respondent of this research is In-A Choi, Executive Director, who has advanced into the first-ever female executive at so young age of 40 years as a publicly selected worker in the S Corporate. As a research turns out, In-A Choi has taken a gradational strategy to change the corporate culture by conducting reasonable ways and setting example cases by herself in such a 'Male-oriented corporate culture'. She has also shwoed the systematic behavior in which she has set up the long-term plan of being appreciated by her accomplishment as a professional. In the process of carrying out her own strategy, she has taken the horizontal and open-hearted actions which has been task-oriented and reflected the female traits. Moreover, her relationship with subordinates or systematic abhavior has stemmed from the 'Professionalsim' based on the preferential criteria of the accomplishment.

이 연구의 목적은 제대군인에 대한 효율적인 전직지원을 위해서 현행 전직지원 프로세스에 대한 개선 안과 이에 따른 국방부, 국가보훈처 등 제대군인 전직지원관련 기관 간의 역할분담 및 연계방안에 대해서 제안하는 것이다. 연구는 크게 세 가지 과정을 거쳤다. 첫째, 국내 군 전직지원 실태를 분석하여 문제점과 시사점을 도출하였다. 둘째, 이러한 문제점과 시사점, 군 전직지원 선행연구를 종합하여 효율적인 군 전직지원 프로세스 안을 제시하였다. 셋째, 구축한 군 전직지원 프로세스 안에 따라 주요 군 전직지원 관련 기관인 국방부, 국가보훈처의 역할 분담 안을 제안하였다. This study aims to suggest an improvement plan for the support process of effective occupation change for discharged soldiers and then role assignments among related institutions for supporting discharged soldiers such as Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, Ministry of Labor and the cooperation plan among the institutions. The study was made in three steps. First, after analyzing currents support facts and status for discharged soldiers, it induced its problems and implications. Second, integrating the findings of previous studies related to support plan on occupation changes for the discharged soldiers, Problems and implications mentioned above, it constructed effective occupation change process for discharged soldiers. Then, according to the established process, it suggested role assignments such as Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, Ministry of Labor.

Background Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are a promising cell source for cartilage regeneration. However, the function of MSC can vary according to cell culture conditions, donor age, and heterogeneity of the MSC population, resulting in unregulated MSC quality control. To overcome these limitations, we previously developed a fluorescent real-time thiol tracer (FreSHtracer) that monitors cellular levels of glutathione (GSH), which are known to be closely associated with stem cell function. In this study, we investigated whether using FreSHtracer could selectively separate high-functioning MSCs based on GSH levels and evaluated the chondrogenic potential of MSCs with high GSH levels to repair cartilage defects in vivo. Methods Flow cytometry was conducted on FreSHtracer-loaded MSCs to select cells according to their GSH levels. To determine the function of FreSHtracer-isolated MSCs, mRNA expression, migration, and CFU assays were conducted. The MSCs underwent chondrogenic differentiation, followed by analysis of chondrogenic-related gene expression. For in vivo assessment, MSCs with different cellular GSH levels or cell culture densities were injected in a rabbit chondral defect model, followed by histological analysis of cartilage-regenerated defect sites. Results FreSHtracer successfully isolated MSCs according to GSH levels. MSCs with high cellular GSH levels showed enhanced MSC function, including stem cell marker mRNA expression, migration, CFU, and oxidant resistance. Regardless of the stem cell tissue source, FreSHtracer selectively isolated MSCs with high GSH levels and high functionality. The in vitro chondrogenic potential was the highest in pellets generated by MSCs with high GSH levels, with increased ECM formation and chondrogenic marker expression. Furthermore, the MSCs’ function was dependent on cell culture conditions, with relatively higher cell culture densities resulting in higher GSH levels. In vivo, improved cartilage repair was achieved by articular injection of MSCs with high levels of cellular GSH and MSCs cultured under high-density conditions, as confirmed by Collagen type 2 IHC, Safranin-O staining and O’Driscoll scores showing that more hyaline cartilage was formed on the defects. Conclusion FreSHtracer selectively isolates highly functional MSCs that have enhanced in vitro chondrogenesis and in vivo hyaline cartilage regeneration, which can ultimately overcome the current limitations of MSC therapy.
반응표면분석법을 이용한 Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SRCM115785의 protease 활성증가를 위한 배지 최적화

본 연구에서는 반응표면분석법을 이용하여 전통발효식품인 막걸리로부터 분리한 Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SRCM115785 균주에 대하여 protease 생산량을 증가시키기 위한 배지의 최적 농도를 확립하고자 하였다. 선정한 11개의 배지 성분 중 각 성분이 protease 생산에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석을 위해 Plackett-Burman design (PBD)를 설계하여 통계분석한 결과 glucose, yeast extract, beef extract를 protease 생산 향상을 위한 요인으로 최종 선별하였다. 선별된 3개의 성분에 대해 protease 생산을 위한 각 성분별 최적 농도를 결정하기 위해 central composite design (CCD)분석을 설계하여 protease 최대 생산을 위한 각 배지조성별 농도는 glucose 6.75 g/l, yeast extract 12.42 g/l, beef extract 17.48 g/l로 예측되었다. ANOVA 분석을 통해 실험모델의 적합성을 증명하였고, 설계한 최적배지에서 반복실험을 진행하여 protease 생산량을 측정한 결과 예측값과 매우 유사한 값을 나타냄을 확인하였다. 최종적으로 일반 배지에 비해 137% 환이 증가하였으며, 추가로 정량 분석 결과 기존 25.72 U/ml 대비 59.28 U/ml로 230.47% 증가함을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 protease 생산량 증가를 위한 배지 성분의 최적화를 확립하였고, 이를 바탕으로 산업용 효소로서 protease의 효율적인 활용방안에 대한 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In this study, the optimal medium composition for enhancing protease production was established by the Bacillus strain isolated from Makgeolli, a traditional fermented food, using the response surface methodology. B. amyloliquefaciens SRCM115785 was selected as the protease producer by productivity analysis and identified by 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Plackett-Burman design (PBD) was introduced to analyze the effect of each component on protease production among the 11 selected medium components. As a result, glucose, yeast extract, and beef extract were finally selected as factors for enhancing protease production. Central composite design (CCD) analysis was designed as a method to determine the optimal concentration of each component for protease production and the concentration of each medium composition for maximum protease production was predicted to glucose 6.75 g/l, yeast extract 12.42 g/l and beef extract 17.48 g/l. The suitability of the experimental model was proved using ANOVA analysis and as a result of quantitative analysis to prove this, the amount of increase was 230.47% compared to the LB medium used as a control. Through this study, the optimization of medium composition for enhancing protease production was established, and based on this, it is expected that it can be efficient use of protease as an industrial enzyme.
Luteolin inhibits adipogenic differentiation by regulating PPARγ activation

<P>Luteolin (3',4',5,7-tetrahydroxyflavone), a flavonoid, has been known to possess antimutagenic, antitumorigenic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. In this study, we investigated the role of luteolin in the regulation of adipogenic differentiation in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes. Luteolin inhibited intracellular triglyceride accumulation in a dose-dependent manner without cytotoxicity. Western blot and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction analyses showed that this inhibition was accompanied by attenuated expression of the adipogenic transcription factors: peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARgamma) and CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein alpha. Luteolin inhibited the PPARgamma transactivation stimulated by rosiglitazone, a synthetic agonist, in COS-7 cells and inhibited rosiglitazone-induced adipogenic differentiation in 3T3-L1 cells. These data suggest that luteolin exerts antiadipogenic effects by suppressing adipogenic transcription factors and by inhibiting the transactivation of PPARgamma.</P>

본 연구는 농촌지역인 해남군에 위치하여 기존 경로당을 활용한 독거노인 공동거주시설의 사례연구로써 독거노인 공동거주시설 거주자의 행위수행을 중심으로 공간사용 실태를 파악하고, 유니버설디자인(UD) 관점에서 공간실측조사를 실시하여 독거노인 공동거주시설의 문제점을 찾고, 이를 개선하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 세 곳의 독거노인 공동거주시설의 면적 측정을 통해 평면 및 가구 · 가전 배치를 분석하고 UD적용 실태조사를 위한 조사도구를 작성하여 물리적인 측면에서 분석하였다. 또한 거주자와의 일대일 면접조사를 통해 거주자의 일반적인 특성을 조사하고 일상생활 행위수행 빈도를 조사하여 이를 질적 내용 분석방법에 따라 분석하였다. 연구조사 · 분석에 따른 주요결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첬째, 경로당이 독거노인 공동거주시설로 바뀌면서 실시되는 개·보수로는 UD적용이 거의 되지 못하고 있다. 둘째, 독거노인 공동거주시설의 설비차이가 거주자들의 시설 이용빈도에 영향을 준다. 셋째, 고령층이고 경제활동을 하지 않을수록 거주자들이 독거노인 공동거주시설에 의지를 많이 한다.

The need for home modification for senior increases, but home condition diagnosis tools are insufficient so that senior can not check and diagnose their home conditions on their own. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a home condition diagnosis tool specialized for the age-friendly design to be used by senior before implementing home modification to reflect the characteristics and needs of elderly households. This study was intended to develop an age-friendly home condition diagnosis tool for home modification in response to aging, and the contents of the study were as follows. In order to extract home condition diagnosis items for senior citizens to respond to aging themselves, domestic and foreign research data and home condition diagnosis tools currently used were examined and the items used in 8 diagnostic tools were rearranged. In order to develop age-friendly diagnostic tools, The researchers of this study looked at 4 domestic and 4 overseas diagnostic tools designed for the elderly. After listing all of the age-friendly design elements used in these 8 diagnostic tools, similar items were rearranged. The subjects of this study included senior aged 60 or older. After the subjects were asked to use the self-checklist face-to-face, the usability evaluation was conducted using a questionnaire, and 5 preliminary surveys and 34 main surveys were conducted. Fianally, the 113 items in six areas at home were included in age-friendly home condition checklist. Design elements applied to elderly-friendly home condition checklist through tools designed to enhance the usability of the elderly are as follows: ① Shorten the length of sentences to enhance the readability of sentences, ② highlight important contents through the contrast of background and text colors, ③ the size of letters good for the elderly, ④ the font good for the elderly, ⑤ use pictograms and noticeable colors, and ⑥ use picture and painting to improve understanding of the contents.
